We were very pleased with everything about this hotel The front desk, housekeeping and breakfast area staff were all very cheerful and made a point to ask you if everything was going well and thanked us for staying The room was very clean and comfortable

There was nothing negative about our entire stay; I wish we were able to say another day

Parag Shah

I am beyond frustrated with this property We picked this place because it was close to a meeting I had in Mebane I got my receipt from them and it had no room rate details and tax details

It was essentially a blank receipt and therefore I can not claim it with my expenses I have called 5 times and now emailed twice and nothing They keep telling me to call back and talk to a manager and then they tell me to email them I love Hilton but this was a horrible stay and now my expenses are backed up and its been 40 days since I last stayed thereDon’t stay at this property They lack leadership and accountabilityI got a response from the property – I just emailed the site they asked me to and I have little faith that anything will get done but stay tuned Please don’t stay here especially if you are business traveller because their receipt system is wrong and prints blank statements and then you can not claim them at work That said – stayed tuned

Eric Dawson

Small hiccup when we checked in but staff responded quickly and rectified the situation My wife was really upset when she found trash in the bathroom bin and made the assumption that the room hadn’t been attended to Kudos to Ms

Austin for calming the situation and saving the day by quickly apologizing and moving us to a new quiet and clean room Breakfast was good but the macadamia cookies at check in sealed the deal for me Good job desk staff!

Staff was friendly and the area seemed safe It was a little noisy at times in the rroms, but only because of the truck stop nearby This Days Inn needs some serious updating

There are only 2 floors and the 2nd floor is only available by 2 stuffy stairwells The rug in the hallway is visibly stained There is damage to the door jamb of at least one room, where it looked like the door may have been kicked in at one time During my 2 day stay, I found 3 different bugs on different occasions in my room The water took a while to get hot at the sink The light above the sink took several flicks of the switch to cut on The bed was nice and comfy The air conditioner needs to be replaced It was hot when I got to the room, even though it said it was on 72 degrees I had to continuously mess with the setting cause it would either get too cold or too warm, but rarely perfect This hotel has good potential, but only if the owner would invest in renovations

Shane Saum

It’s a Days Inn, so you get what you pay for Room was clean The staff said they had a grab-n-go breakfast, but it was “nothing to write home about,” was what they said when we checked in

It is next to a Flying J truck stop with overnight truck parking, so I wouldn’t say it is kid friendly My daughter was afraid of the place so we had to check out early Probably best for solo travelers looking for a quick place to stay Price was fair

David Garland

Avoid this place, started out by finding a tick on the shower curtain and yes I took a picture, I was kept up half the night by the inconsiderate people in room 214 fighting and yelling at each other like 2 children And when my wife booked the room online it gave options and prices and one of them was more expensive because it comes with breakfast, well don’t expect to get it When I woke up the next morning and went downstairs to eat I was shocked to see mini and I mean mini muffins, big enough for children, no cereal, no bagels I mean the typical stuff you would find at a hotel that advertises they have breakfast, they got extra money out of me for breakfast but had absolutely nothing to feed you

I walked over to the reception desk and rang the bell and deal with a very unpleasant lady with an attitude like I was bothering her by ringing the bell, I asked her about breakfast and she got snippy and said that’s all they offer, so I will be calling corporate and letting them know about this and demanding a refund

Stay away! So so Disappointing at $300 a night after taxes Was expecting a more boutique like property Given that they were fully booked, you think they could add a coffee service in the morning

The room’s AC was so loud had to sleep without it; no shampoo; very limited restaurant hours; bed linens felt very cheap and damp; the rug in my room in need of cleaning; my mattress was very oddly sunken in at one side No amenities or touches of a boutique hotel They are going for character but ultimately it’s kitschy and uncomfortableThe saving grace was the fabulous and professional staff, the prime location, and the clean and pretty lobbyFirst time in chapel hill – I Wish I had booked at the Carolina Inn I wouldn’t stay here or at a graduate property again It’s clear the graduate brand goes into distressed properties and gussies up a bit with decor without providing any real substance A bummer of an experience at 600$ for two nights

Alan Harlow

WOW! Amazingly fun, eclectic, unique hotel!!! What a surprise This was my first visit to Chapel Hill and the Graduate Hotel Although I researched the hotel’s website prior to arrival, I didn’t expect to have such a pleasant and fun one night stay

Upon arrival, once you enter the lobby, you will have an instant smile develop Although a small lobby, the decor, furnishings, art work, fireplace and the many interesting items make for the most unique arrival/registration experience Where else will you find an actual scoreboard (lights included, look for my photo!) being used as the front desk?? Naturally, with the hotel’s location so close to the university campus, the hotel has a distinctive sports theme throughout In fact, in the middle of a small atrium is a cute basketball court for kids with soft, fabric balls for use (see my photos!) All areas of the hotel were immaculate and well maintained My guestroom was spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean Comfy queen bed, large flat screen TV, mini refrigerator, safe, pencil, and old fashioned rotary telephone (really fun! If under 30 years of age, you won’t recognize it!) The bath was large with pretty retro wallpapers and wonderful, large, glass, walk in shower The restaurant was not open when I visited, but I did manage to take a look and snap photos It looked like a really cool place to meet and have a bit to eat Hopefully, I can experience the hotel’s restaurant on my next visit?!?! No need to worry about food here, even if the hotel’s restaurant is not open, as there are numerous restaurants and dining options, all within a short walk The hotel’s location is superb, located directly on Franklin Street Literally, just about any type of food or beverage you desire is close at hand Of course, there is shopping too! There is a very nice Target, just a few blocks from the hotel Finally, I totally loved the hotel, amenities and unique decor (I don’t know a name to call this type of decor, you must see it yourself!!) On top of all the fun and unique experiences here, once again it’s this hotel’s staff that ensures a solid 5 star rating! The staff associates here are simply amazing; courteous, helpful, professional and caring! Every single staff associate I encountered was friendly, smiled and spoke to me From the front desk staff to the housekeeping associates, kudos for making my stay so pleasant!! Without a doubt, the Graduate Hotel has my full recommendation I can’t imagine anyone leaving the hotel without a smile!! Check it out Enjoy!!

Sam Sletten

No coffee maker in room, no microwaves available in public areas, it seems that you need to go down to the front desk for ice, no clocks in room, no constant fan option on thermostat The thermostat screen shines like a flashlight for a long time after you use it, I had to drape a washcloth over the screen just to get the room dark enough to sleep inFront desk was nice enough and the fifth floor rooms have patios, but if you’re actually planning to spend time in your room then this is not a great option

I don’t think this hotel was designed by people with experience in the industry

This Country Inn and Suites is one of the cleanest I ever stayed in The amount of care that goes in to each and every room, for cleaning, is above and beyond Every staff member there is happy to see you and happy to help you

I look forward to when my clock runs out in Burlington, (I’m a truck driver) because that means that I will get to see the top notch employee of this hotel Victoria Victoria has everything of mine ready to go when I pull up Victoria really cares about her guests and it shows Thank you Victoria for the love

Regenia Spoerndle

A perfect location when visiting your Elon University student! Just a short drive to campus and bargain-priced The rooms are very large and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast, delicious! I have stayed here on numerous occasions and always had a great experience Very clean, comfortable and great customer service

Highly recommended

I came here exclusively to use their pool, and they told me their pool was out of serviceEven the ones in Chicago where I’m from originally have fixed pools 95% of the time and it’s a colder climate thereThe room temperature is freezing with the air temp which you can’t actually adjust

Only giving 2 ★ b/c the breakfast was decent and the room was nice despite the cold room

Firstly the positive Front desk was very nice Now to what I think about the rooms

Disgusting sums it up! Checked in to our room and the was blood spots on the ceiling, and what looked like dusted hand prints on the wall! No, I’m not exaggerating The a/c also did not work properly Was switched to another roombath tub was black, like it had not been cleaned in months , brown stains all over the mattresses, dirty carpet, holes in the walls My husband and myself have bites on from something The next morning a “housekeeper “ just walked in our room No knock, no announcing herself At that point we left the room and did not finish our stay

Julia Burford

This place was disgusting! There was mold all over ceiling and walls in the bathroom It smelled and was just gross We couldn’t stay, we left and drove 30 minutes away for a clean hotel

The baseboards were hanging off and exposing everything nasty thing behind it Don’t do it…it’s bad The health department should be called on this place

Jonathon Knowles-Carter

The room was absolutely terrible You know the kind of room a main character of a movie gets at the beginning of a movie when they first move to a new city to start over and it’s just run down and falling apart and bugs everywhere? That’s this roomThe service was excellent, I have nothing bad to say about the front desk or staff I dealt with

They were extremely pleasant to me, they just have the misfortune of working in that particular establishment, I don’t blame them They were doing their best with the conditions they had to work with

Mixed bag Front desk was friendly This is the only hotel that I’ve stayed at in years that asks you to sign and initial things

makes the process even slower Get with the times I asked specifically for a non adjoining room because I just don’t like having a door in between rooms when I don’t know the person on the other side I was assured that I didn’t have one as that was on special request only Well I did The bathroom needs a total overhaul, you can tell they tried to modernize it but they should have completely replaced the shower and sink The water in the sink wouldn’t stay on without holding the handle up and the shower had cracks, mold and rust There were two tiny holes in the bathroom walls One was stuffed with toilet paper and I stuffed the other one once I noticed it Creepy The room itself was nice, clean and cozy I didn’t hear any noise from other rooms during the night All employees were friendly This is a nice budget hotel but right now they are not charging budget prices The Hampton next door is just a level up for the same price

Thomas Bonnington

Great price and very accommodating to some requests The room was clean, nicely laid out and appeared to be well kept The staff was great, and the only issue was a young family with what appeared to be small twin boys directly overhead

I met the family and kids in the lobby and they are very cute kids, and the family was very nice and working to manage their energetic boys Just needed more sound deadening between floors

Mia Williams

Mr Erick and Ms Gayle were excellent in making sure that I felt welcome and they asked me if I needed anything upon my arrival and during my stay The manager was not helpful nor was he pleasant during my stay due to the fact that I parked on one side of the hotel did not know that the doors were not working and it was late at night and he acted like he had a problem letting me know that after I asked a question of why I couldn’t get into the hotel with my keys I observed the mannerisms with other guests while I was sitting in the breakfast area working on papers and the manager was very talkative and very cheerful with everyone else who came through the door

I feel as an employee of an IHG brand that you are to be presentable in character and courteous to everyone that walks through the door whether you’re bothered or not Someone needs to go back through training in hospitality because this is what turns potential away from your property I may be returning to this property I’m not sure yet Also this property needs to inform housekeeping not to knock on doors until after the checkout time for each room has been discussed at the front desk

Experience overall was good Reservation process excellent I believe it was a very busy time and maybe they are short staffed

We arrived with dirty spills in refrigerator Front desk was nice to let me borrow disinfectant to clean Requested clean towels, never arrived Breakfast was very busy, hard to keep food stocked I love Hilton properties, but timing is EVERYTHING!

No true complaints, we had a pleasant stay while in town for a competition The staff was excellent and everything was clean4 stars only because rooms are slightly outdated and breakfast quality could improve

Hotel #10 of the year Online this seemed to be the nicest hotel in this small town The rooms are clean, the staff has been nice, mostly

Internet connection is horrible on upper floors which was kinda aggravating if you need internet use at night for work like myself, but otherwise for a quick stay this location is perfect The only things around to eat are located in quick proximity as well

Don Kim

I was on my way to Fort Lee and to report for duty It was late in the evening and this was my 5th hotel I went to try to find a room Thankfully they had a room for me

The hotel wasn’t running its military rate at the time but they made an exception for me because it was so late that they could at least fill the room It really helped me out, thanks for helping this soldier out 😁👍

My husband, myself and our 4 year old were traveling through North Carolina heading to visit family in Georgia for vacation We had read good reviews about this hotel and we were tired from being on the road (and the weather got really bad) so we decided to stop and give your hotel a tryWhen we stopped my husband went inside to inquire if there were available rooms as we didn’t have a reservation

The hotel was 97% to capacity but thankfully they had an available room with 2 queen beds for our familyWe were very impressed with not only the very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff but how clean the rooms were The hotel was very clean and welcomingWe had a good night and the fact that the continental breakfast was free too boot it was great There was also a $50 deposit for the room but it was returned within 48 hours which was greatThank you for a great experience If we travel and there is a Drury hotel nearby we will definitely stay (especially if it’s the location in Burlington NC)

I stayed here 2 weeks ago over the weekend I did have an issue from the first room which was taken care of promptly by Jasmine from the front desk who is an exceptional employee Very welcoming, friendly and helpful

They have excellent customer service, very clean rooms, breakfast and dinner was great The downsides were the price was a little high this time, there was lots of noise late at night in the hallway from teenagers and the pool area was very crowded Regardless, this is one of my favorite hotels in the area and I will definitely stay again

Tiffany Davis

My only con is that the room bathroom shower had a few pieces of hair I enjoyed my trip and am already planning another stay The hot tub was relaxing and the kids enjoyed the pool

I was surprised that dinner and breakfast were included in our stay Which was convenient and good We spent most of the first day in Greensboro The next day we shopped around Burlington The location is perfect with restaurants and stores within walking distance

– [ ] I’m writing this review to inform everyone of the unpleasant experience that I had while staying at this property and the even worst experience that I’ve had with management and customer service While making my reservation via telephone I was told one thing, when I arrived at the property to check in I was told something completely different, which in turn changed all of my travel plans I contacted customer service to inform them of my unpleasant experience and requested a refund for my stay

After a few days of hearing nothing from the property or customer service, I decided to call for a second time I was told that the property decided to refund me $2000 for my stay which cost me over $16000 I was completely insulted that I would be issued a $2000 refund for misinformation that I received on behalf of Marriott Being the fact that I’m a veteran and law enforcement officer, I travel quite a bit However, I will no longer reside at any Marriott property here in the states or abroad Marriott made over 13 Billion dollars in 2021 To issue someone a $2000 refund for their stay is appalling and classless

Luz Villar

The room was great, however service sucked Now onto the most important part, I left behind 4 gold rings very expensive family passed and they were stolen; I kept calling to see if they would be turned in but nothing It is sad that there was no integrity amongst their employee personnel

I shouldn’t be worried about something getting stolen if left behind mistakenly The cleaning crew was in the room next to me when I left and I know they went into the room next Awful almost 10k lost Thanks Marriot for employing the best

Great hotel, very underpriced, it’s a great deal The area around the hotel is very nice, lots of restaurants and shops Georgia at the front desk went out of her way for us, even called our room to check on us

Breakfast was great, a nice variety with a clean setup The area around the pool is beautiful, we ate our breakfast out there Our room was clean and nice, AC needs a little updating The entire hotel was very clean My only complaint is that the hallways are really dark, the door also didn’t fit the doorway so light shined in all night, and we had to swipe our key card about 5 times just to get in the hallway Those really aren’t big deals to me so I still give this place 5 stars

Chelley Jones

Absolutely wonderful! Very clean, nice rooms and breakfast is great! Above and beyond best customer service ever from Joyce at the front desk and Wilma, head of housekeeping We had to stay due to issues with the pipes in our home that we are currently renovating They were very accommodating and made it feel like a nice relaxing mini vacation, which was amazing while dealing with the stress of our live in renovation!! A huge thanks to Joyce and Wilma!!

Susan Dotson

Burlington was the best town nearest to Cane Creek Campground where we were meeting family for day visits This hotel was very nice Decor was good, beautiful courtyard with plants, tables and chairs under a roof, beyond that was a very nice pool

There were sliding glass doors on the courtyard, which we had The room and hotel were very clean The breakfast included was really quite good with large amount of items to choose from! We stayed one night and may never have a need for overnight in Burlington since we live in Wake County, but if you find yourself passing through that area, stay here Staff were friendly at desk, in the halls and in the breakfast room They also have a Jury Conference center which I imagine why they have the nice courtyard they do!
