Four Points by Sheraton Miami: Budget Brand Experience for Premium PriceTHE ROOM:The decor in the hotel room was a dark wood laminate that was so annoyingly out of place for the sunshine state Instead of elevating the mood and evoking feelings of quality it felt depressing and cramped Our request to be on a higher floor resulted in a 2nd floor room right next to the elevators

Our view of the parking lot was pleasantly obstructed by the top of a palm tree Unfortunately the palm could not obstruct our clear view of the dead bird on the ledge outsideTHE FOOD:Dinner was as you would disappointingly expect from a hotel restaurant, inflated prices and mediocre food The end of my patience with this hotel arrived with breakfast We came down to your typical cheep continental breakfast spread which one tolerates as quaint given that it is for the right price of free with your stay……… right? Wrong, no sooner had we served ourselves dry sausages, plastic eggs, and shriveled potatoes when we were aggressively asked if we had our “meal vouchers” on us Breakfast, which would be complementary at any Super8 in the country, was $16 per personTHE STAFF:A typical mix of extremely pleasant and a few bad apples Anyone reading this review should consider that negative experiences with the staff are more than likely the result of how the property is managed; in this case very poorlySUMMARY:It is clear that the management is only capable of making money by attracting unacquainted guests with slightly lower room prices and then feeding them at obscenely inflated prices, the most egregious of which was charging $16/person for a breakfast spread of $0 quality This was my first experience with a Sheraton budget brand and will definitely be my last

My friend and I had a reservation through booking for our trip to Miami, the location is good close to the airport and you have stores nearby Since the first night we had an awful smell in our room like pee and they sent someone to help with it but it didn’t work thankfully we were only there for less than 4 days Another thing you have to leave a deposit that they make you believe you will get it back in 5-7 working days and ITS BEEN A MONTH and I still don’t have to money back and they won’t get back to me at all so if you count to get your deposit back from this hotel you will be disappointed and the funny thing it’s that they try to tell me it’s because I have an international bank but I rented a car and received my deposit in 5 days like they told me so it’s not my bank

THEY STOLE MY MONEY

The property is filthy The room was not cleaned and I wasn’t offered another room I was told housecleaning would re-do room while we were away

The room wasn’t re-done upon return Hair, dirty floors, dust and stain on comforter and sheet Amanda Graham who says she’s the General manager, lied to me I asked for refund and why I was double charged Ms Graham said I wasn’t and gave me corporates number I asked if she was honest about the number since I was going to call about her property and not getting a refund She said she’d never lie about that Untrue! That number was Marriott Bonvoy’s Loyalty Programs They had nothing to do with my complaint I will never stay here again nor recommend this establishment to any of my business partners, family or friends I used my American Express points to stay at AKA Brickell and it was beautiful! Should have stayed there from the beginning This place is unprofessional and lacks transparency and civility Don’t waste your time I left in the middle of the night

Very clean and comfortable check-in was a little confusing but otherwise the stay itself was very nice and enjoyable Had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and one of the rooms was handicap accessible

Unfortunately the double queen room seemed only handicap accessible to the bathroom but nothing else the room was incredibly tight and difficult to move a wheelchair around in We brought this to the attention of the front desk and the manager very kindly and quickly upgraded our room to a suite with more then enough space highly recommended

Nicolas Duran

Very nice hotel with clean rooms a nice swimming pool area and a good breakfast to start the day Parking is complementary and hot coffee and tea are all day available in front of front desk I would like to specially highlight the ladies of the front desk which were very helpful in all our needs during our stay… they really make us felt at home and me and my family really appreciate that

For sure a place to return in the future

Kenneth Lineberger

Breakfast has declined The milk was warm, fruit was soggy, eggs were dry, waffles were out of stock, and the sausage was thoroughly unappealing Used to be cooked patties, now seems to be boiled links

Only thing edible were the fresh apples and bananasAlso, my air conditioner didn’t do a very good job Room stayed humid 119, for reference

I really liked the hotel once we actually got our room Very nice scenery around hotel but the weather was bad and we didn’t get any pictures The cleaning staff took to long to clean the rooms so even at 3, they still weren’t clean, waited till 4 for actual check in and it still wasn’t ready

We got checked in around 420, I just think the cleaning staff needs to be more attentive and finished cleaning at a certain time but definitely worth my stay I will return

Albert Alonso

The hotel stay was for my niece who was coming from a cruise celebrating her anniversary I was very impressed with check in personnel, she congratulated my nice for her anniversary and gave us all info on hotel parking, etc As I helped with the luggage, room was clean and very nice

Nice view of the pool area Hotel located on Main St which has restaurants and some stores, as well as a movie theater all within walking distance This was a perfect location for someone coming in from out of town Pricing is good and will definitely consider on next time having family in town Thanks MLH team

We liked this hotel BUT1 Reserved a room with a balcony Arrived to find that we were not given a balcony, instead we were given a “patio”

Not the same Our request to be moved to a balcony was denied2 Woken at 6:30 am by staff in the hallway making an absolute racket for 30 minutes3 There has been someone power washing the pool area since 8:45 Extremely loud Not exactly relaxing

This hotel is the worst We stayed here for a few weeks due to our house not being ready to move in No safe in the room

We never allowed any one in just the cleaning crew a couple of times to change bed sheets and clean up Someone stole my husbands chain We alerted the staff and asked to have corporate call us We have yet to have anyone call We filed a police report but of course they don’t care because as to them it’s nothing We paid thousands of dollars and also paid this hotel a lot of money to stay there and make sure our belongings were safe Multiple times we had to go to the front desk because our keys weren’t working and now it makes us think if this was on purpose to get into our room My husband has had this chain for years and never lost it Also a coincidence that we went out on a Friday and that weekend and before we checked out the chain was gone! We have contacted an attorney and hopefully this is resolved ASAP!

1st off They saved us from having a horrible trip We decided to book at seaside apartment right there on Collins

Worst choice ever They had a horrible smell, they double booked rooms sowe went from a double bed to 1 bed So we called sonesta and they got us in that same morning Not only were they accommodating, they were so nice and let us check in early at 11 am We hadn’t slept at the other hotel (seaside) because of how horrible the mold smell was Sonesta smelled so fresh and so clean What a huge difference I’m so thankful and will try to use them on other trips in the future Went from a really bad hotel experience (seaside apartment hotel) to a great and everlasting experience (sonesta)

One of the coolest places you can find I hope other people don’t know about it Actually, forget whatever I said and don’t come here

This place is so horrible that only I and people I know deserve to stay9 and a half out of 10

Duh Sunnyday

Would have been a more pleasant experience because the room is nice But the maids love to stand outside the doors and scream back and forth in Cuban for extended periods of time Like for hours! Just shut up and clean the rooms next door already! They don’t need to be so loud! This isn’t the first time either unfortunately

If it weren’t for this it’d be better

Friendly Neighborhood Black Man

My girlfriend and I came to the sweets because she was having surgery in the area The room was very nice it included a kitchen with modern and up-to-date appliances The shower is very tremendous it was a walking shower which was very nice this Saturday it was me and my girlfriend so use your imagination

The only problem I had was the water pressure in the shower And since they were two of us in the shower we had to take turns to use the water because the water pressure would not allow the water to reach the second person so that was awful Other than that the breakfast was very nice in the morning complimentary of course Who was very nice The staff were excellent But the one other problem I had was a location it was mostly in an industrial site even though it was nearby the airport Other than that I would say five stars for everything included they just need to tighten up on some areas

Armando Porroa

Of course this is not a five star but a really good relations price versus service and quality of roomsBreakfast included is good option It’s close to the airport, have great nice spaces outside the room for quite good moments of relax or readings

Inside the rooms there some kitchen with silverware for 2 people Bath a clean and everything on the bet and rooms is fresh and tidy

Haley Madole

After a very long day at the airport this place was just what we needed! We were greeted by the two men in charge of shuttling people to and from the airport They were waiting on us upon booking, and we were greeted with such kindness and joy! Evelio and Lorenzo were absolutely incredible! They helped us figure out transportation around town, and after a very long and frustrating day, they gave us so much joy! We left the shuttle with a smile on our face! The hotel is only a few years old and in excellent condition The rooms are very clean, and the beds are so comfy! I can not recommend this place enough! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Picasso

Best local Broward hotel I have been at so far I had a room on the 5th floor which had a great view of the Hard Rock Guitar hotel in Hollywood, the Miami Dolphins Stadium and the downtown Hollywood buildings etc in the distance

The room featured a large window, microwave, small refrigerator which was great as many higher end hotels don’t always offer microwave and refrigerator As an added bonus, free breakfast was included dailyAs some have mentioned, there is an occasional odor mainly when outside due to a sewer plant down the street but did not impact my stay Will definitely be returning Highly recommended

ME NF

Nice property, rooms were really bigThe breakfast its free and good enought! Our room was accesible and the o ly inconvenience was the bathroom get’s really soak with a small showerNice stay

The location of the hotel is perfect for freeway access We were able to head out to our sight seeing and return at the end of the day with ease The hotel property seems a little older, but the rooms themselves are modern and well maintained

We were in a king bed suite that had a separate bedroom area The room was incredibly comfortable, it felt like being in a private apartment We’ll absolutely consider staying at this property again

Pamela Lyle, MBA

Oh boy

let’s start with the positives It’s a quaint hotel in a good location Close to great dining and golf course Very lovely staff That’s it!!The negatives outweigh the positives for me The room was extremely damp Felt like a damp basement There was mold in my bathroom I took a picture of the mold I will try and upload it The carpets in the hallways were dirty The grounds and parking needed attention as well

Edward Streiff

The staff was nice and the hotel was decent for the price The showers were fancy with multiple Jets and the water pressure was really good It kind of feels like a motel because the the different buildings and how you get to your room but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable

The only I had was the cable TV The TV itself was fine but lost of the time I just had a green screen no matter what channel For me on a work trip I was hardly in my room so it wasn’t a big deal but if you like to watch TV before bed or your the type that sleep with the TV on this will be a problem for you

I have now stayed here twice, 3 nights each time The first time the front desk women was lovely, the second time a guy checked me in and wasn’t pleasant at all The rooms are decent especially considering cost

Comfy bed good pillows, good ac, good blankets Showers pressure is decent could be better but could be way worse Overall cleanliness was great for me The noise from the street is pretty loud but I haven’t had problems sleeping through it I haven’t heard anyone I’m other rooms Parking is great and the area is overflowing with places to eat and shop If you don’t need to be right on the beach it works

Kriston Cartwright

I thought the sheets were a little thin when the a/c was at its coldest settings, but overall a great stay The front desk staff and housekeeping were always friendly and even through guest spoke My mom left 4 important electronic devices in our household at the hotel and the staff retrieved it and was very helpful in allowing us time to get to them

I would recommend anyone to stay here as its central to a lot if things in this part of Miami

Finding Floridapixie

Here now for two nights, and we could not be more pleased with this hotel! The young man who checked us in around 3:30 was so kind and welcoming We have a room with two beds, and a balcony with a beautiful view towards Whole Foods and overlooking the pool We love the location of this hotel, and it is very clean! As a travel RN, I experience all types of stays for the long, 13 week contracts at hand From the moment I checked in, I have had excellent customer service from not just the very helpful staff, but manager as well It’s very obvious how hard they work to keep the guests happy and comfortable

My room was clean and they always make sure I am restocked of towels, dishes, tp etc! As far as any noise, I haven’t had anything at all to complain about and my stay was very lengthy My evenings were quiet and restful I highly recommend staying here

Ildikó Dévai

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at Came here for work and stayed a week There is zero housekeeping, and I’m pretty sure the floor was never mopped! It was so dirty that first night after arrival, using the white bath mat just once, the side that was on the floor became black! Since they don’t clean the rooms, I wiped the floor with a towel and the towel became completely black and the floor became many shades lighter

The water barely trickles from the shower head The walls are paper thin, you hear everything! There are multiple families that live here and you can hear kids screaming loudly until 10-11 PM every night The breakfast is a joke, coffee is horrible and the lids don’t even fit the cups The room key cards have to be reprogrammed every day or two The only positive thing was that the employees were fairly friendly But overall, save your sanity and stay elsewhere! I’m definitely not coming back!

Cudda Brown

The rooms where middle of the road Not bad for what your paying for

Staff is nice and meets our needs but my problems lay with the other guests who don’t follow the property rules like not smoking within 100 feet of the building Not only smoking but smoking illegal substances at that And playing loud music inside the room so much so that you don’t just hear the bass from the music but the actual words of the songs being played Overall this place gets a C because although they do an ok job running the place the atmosphere leaves something to be desired

The guy at the front counter very nice, however according to him he was the only on duty that night Our room AC was set on fan and I could not adjust/change the settings (room never got cold), the TV would NOT come on at all, we unplugged it and try a different outlet and it never came on, they did NOT have toiletries as they were completely out (front desk guy stated) and we was never offered to change rooms Will definitely NOT be staying there again

Charissa

No hot water in shower or sink, called front desk twice- no answer- went down to front desk no customers around Front desk lady was unhelpful, unfriendly and acknowledged they knew that there are numerous rooms that the hot water doesn’t work Refused to offer us any compensation for our troubles, wouldn’t switch rooms when I requested it, stating, “ I don’t know what other rooms don’t have hot water…” she stated that other customers are having hot water issues as well

So they are aware, yet, not offering compensation for their problems Hotel old and dated, photos look better than in person, very loud room…next to freeway and loud elevator, mold in shower on ceiling and walls Dark, poorly lit hallways and rooms need attention and updating Outdoor pool is freezing cold Workout room is lacking, only one machine functioned (when I tried all four)Front Staff unwelcoming and unfriendly Didn’t welcome me or acknowledge me as a reward points member- I had to ask at check out if I was given my points Not the greatest area, very far away from the airport & no hotel shuttle as advertised on their website For the price we paid, very poor value Would NOT recommend staying here Worst Holiday Inn property we’ve ever stayed at, we are frequent travelers I choose Holiday Inn properties for their reputation, this hotel doesn’t fit the Holiday Inn standards Find someplace else

shannon Conway

This hotel service is terrible Do not recommend staying here You should not put your diamond elite customers in the rooms that have no hot water

Then tell them oh sorry it’s something we can note, but there is nothing we can do Then when you ask for a hair dryer 3 times and you say ok no problem and it never comes I don’t usually post bad reviews but I do expect a hotel to make traveling for work suck less, not more I don’t think that’s asking too much

Upon arriving I was greeted by a beautiful lady, her name was Phoebe, VERY sweet and wonderful to me I told her if their were more people like her, the world would be a much better place She knows what great customer service is, and she went above and beyond to give that

The check in process was quick This hotel EXCEEDED my expectations The design of the room was BRILLIANT I fell in love with that, you don’t see a different layout too often these days My room was super clean and the air conditioning was wonderful I will always come back to this exact hotel when I return to Miami*My only suggestion would be to consider leaving the pool open a little later for adults, maybe 11:00PM? Just a suggestion, but no complaints I will definitely be back!!!

MEB

This was a nice and convenient place next to the airport Would have given it 5 stars but the female receptionist wasn’t welcoming and seemed to be bothered by any interaction or request The first room we were assigned had a leak so we had to move

The maintenance men provided better service than she did and were very accommodating The restaurant was fast, had great food and service The airport shuttle was timely and the gentleman driving it was helpful All in all good other than the receptionist who could use an understanding of customer service

Flooring Masters & Professional Remodelers

I’d have given five starts if it weren’t for the shower above our room leaking (pouring water) down over our heads while we were in our shower bathing Kinda grossed us out We have video to confirm our statement

Even with this happening had the management offered some sort of discount or refund I’d have given five starts We understand that stuff happens, customer service should have acknowledged it however Other than that, very nice place, excellent bar and food Friendly staff

We traveled to Miami are for a wedding, I booked at The Stadium When we first pulled up I was a little worried As we usually stay at Marriott when we travel

This hotel is well kept, a little aged but has had many updates The staff was amazing and you can tell they take pride in their work Our room was clean and there are staff constantly cleaning wiping things down in common areas Continental breakfast was nice and fresh, Everything tasted really good They have staff continually monitoring the hotel and outside area which made me feel even more safe and comfortable for a first time trip to Miami Pool was nice and they have mini golf as well Would highly recommend for a stay and would definitely return for a stay

Staff was next level and went above and beyond for race fans Race decor was over the top in the best way possible and made the experience so much more fun and enjoyable Walking distance to the stadium, the best provided breakfasts fuel long days, and a place to comfortably sleep despite thin walls

Everyone working from reception, housekeeping, security, grounds, and even staff helping serve breakfast actually looked and were approachable in the sense that they were having a good time and were happy to be there or at least did a great job appearing to be! Everyone came off genuine and so nice! Absolutely loved all the posters/flags and decor from the columns outside, the hanging driver cards from the ceilings to the decorated breakfast 9th floor decked out Overheard presumably managers speaking to staff on what channels to have the TVs on and making sure things were stocked and clean for fans The small details and attention for the guests/fans So much so fans were given a complimentary clear bag permitted in the stadium with sealed waters and other goodies Completely unwarranted and sweet! The Miami GP was okay, but this place made the stay and overall experience much better Almost didn’t want to leave the review afraid that this place will skyrocket for the next GP, but all their effort over the weekend deserves the recognition – I can’t say enough This place knocked it out of the park on the FIRST F1 event held here Do note that walking distance may not be for everyone especially in the heat There were shuttles available that didn’t come across worth needing

The rooms are spacious and clean Some things we did not like restaurants on site is only open Thursday-Sunday, no laundry service at all You can not check in early to your room earliest is 3pm

The bar was closed So we had to go into Doral to a restaurant and sit for two hours until our room was readyKitchen comes pretty stocked with dishes, cups and plates, coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher Best way to describe this place is apartment/condo complex No view out your room accepts for a bunch of tree branches It is gated and the pool area is pretty, very small hot tub for guests to use Only allowed house keeping every three days They will bring extra towels and things if you ask Not all what we thought it would be false advertising as far as views on the room’s But if you don’t care about that, then it is okay place to stay Side note a lot of traffic and construction on the freeway going to Miami Beach so give yourself time to get to activities you’ve planned We would pay the extra money next time and stay closer to downtown Miami

The location is close to the airport and that’s a positive, however, our experience with the actual facility was just okay The folks at the reception are not very friendly and it took us over an hour for us to get checked in; They also didn’t have the villa we had booked and instead had our group split to two different rooms in two different buildings The rooms are okay; they show their age but if you just want to sleep for a few hours and move on, i guess it works

They have a swimming pool which looked nice (we didn’t use it) and a gym thats open after 7 am Their porter is a nice guy but it takes forever to get a ride on the golf cart to go to your buildings (some can be a good 15 min walk from the reception) They have a breakfast buffet which is pricey and not associated with the hotel, so there is always confusion about payments The waitress at the breakfast place is wonderful though Overall, my recommendation is to find another place Not worth the money

Very nice place, in this opportunity I wasn’t staying or showing any of the rental units (I’m a realtor and have leased a few units here) so I was using the amenities for a professional event The staff was very nice and courteous, the place was impeccable clean, the lunch served was delicious and healthy The parking situation was a little crowded, however, I found a spot pretty fast

I have leased several units for Asian clients in different buildings and they were OKOverall I had a good experience ✅

Listen, to these reviews they are not lying I wish I would have took my times , to read these reviews before booking with them First of all I have an encountered with one Spanish guy this guy has refused to accommodate my stay

Second red flags I don’t care if you are a guest or not we don’t care at all I called asking for some towels and wash cloth the receptionist didn’t even let me finish my sentence he said no I paid $400+ for my stay you mean you don’t have an extra person to assist the guest if they need something The red flag is there staffs doesn’t care about you as guests I will not book there anymore Please do yourself a favor book somewhere else People work way to hard for there money to be treated as such

3 night stay, had 2 issues with staff 1 Housekeeping staff came to knock on our door 30 minutes before noon (check out time at noon)

The staff did not speak English had hard a time understanding what I was advising her, that we are still packing and will be checking out in about 15-20 minutes This is still United States (Florida), am I the minority who speak English as a foreign language Hilton needs to do better for their guests and their staff, this interaction was an embarrassment for me not being able to communicate with hotel staff 2 The day we checked in, I had to get a ride to the airport, the driver for the hotel almost got into an traffic accident and scared two elderly couple, and tge drive made the excuse “that’s Miami” He was aggressive in driving us to the airport, even high speed turns, lane changes and cutting other vehicles off Be careful when you get in their vehicle going to and from the airport

airport shuttle was overcrowded at 1am, and instead of coming right back to pick ip the rest, they told us to wait another hour for the regular schedule, so we had to take a cab as far as the actual hotel, for $200 a night, you can do a lot better…update, the bed was cozy, continental breakfast was not free, theres worse places out there…
