We enjoyed our stay at the Sleep Inn and Suites The hotel employees were friendly It has your basic continental hot breakfast which was good

The room was large The king size bed slept comfortably The hotel was clean The pool area was relaxing It’s definitely not your best hotel in Dover but is much better than your budget hotels I will definitely stay here again It’s a better hotel than the one with the red colored roof in the area

Only feedback would be for deep clean of room (dust on bathroom fan, heater) Nice quality bedding and good room size for two Be sure to request room service and restock for coffee supplies (room coffee great)

Quiet location (residential on backside, church to right side) just on the town outskirts, quick drive into city centre Fair size pool (no hot tub)Fantastic breakfast! Lots of options and clean large dining room

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times before and it seems like it is getting better They have done a wonderful job on renovating the lobby and dining area I will definitely use this hotel again

This is an update on this hotel and I guess it includes any Hilton hotel I just tried to make a one night reservation, after trying various websites and finally contacting the actual hotel was informed that there is a 2 night minimum stay on the weekends This does not change my opinion of the hotel but about Hilton in general Guess I’ll be looking at other places to stay which is a shame

We stayed May 31 to June 3 during that stay the the toilet had pee stains all over it the white sheets had black makes on then when we checked in , when down stairs and informed the yound man that was working and he gave me a bottle with bleach to use to clean it because housekeeping was not available i think we stayed in room 208 I know its right next to room 207 the door was hard to close and made so much noise u have to push it was your body to close the doorThe reason for both stays is because we wanted the kids to finish the last 2 weeks of school before me move out of state The next stay was June 6-10 , when we checked in room 207 the bed had white stains all over it I went to the front desk to let them know, i was told housekeeping is not available but she can give me a change of sheet absolutely thing was done no apology from management the next day nothing

And to top if off check my credit card today June 11, I see that they charged me for a missing pillow $20 these people are disgusting and I know they did that because I called Choice Hotel and informed the situationI took pics upon entering the room of that I saw on the bed AND I WILL BE POSTING THEM

Clean Spartan Friendly

No hassles Found the place around midnight Check in is through a bullet proof window under the car port Convenient restaurant next door emphasizes flavor over health! Grocery store and many fast food places a short drive away Only fresh fruit is at the grocery store Use it to buy apples or plums to balance off your diet against all the fast food places!

They only had a two bedroom left according to the attendant so I had to pay $95 a night for my room I could have gone elsewhere, but I was too tired to continue driving that night Room was a nice size with a little table with 2 chairs to sit at, and a single arm chair

The room had not been properly cleaned (see the photos), One towel was so stained that it didn’t come out even with heavy bleach (which I could smell) and the ottoman was stained as well When I drew the shower curtain across there was a hand towel draped across the top of it that had been neglected There were black hairs in the tub I guess the room had not been used for a while, because there was a cobweb with a tiny spider on the toilet tank! When I rearranged the position of the table, I realized the rug had not been vacuumed particularly well eitherThe window does not open, so if you prefer fresh air to the stale air conditioned air, you’re out of luck Even on low, the fan for the air conditioner was a bit loud

I highly recommended staying here for a one of a kind experience 🤍

This is a rare review, only because my girlfriend and I were able to experience this incredible Victorian home, with zero other guests I pray someday one of you will get to experience a cocktail by the fire, with the candelabra lit atop the grand piano, with Ella Fitzgerald playing in the background Then a candlelight breakfast for 2 by the other fireplace

Dan brought out the eggs Benedict, with the perfect little dash of nutmeg, after a lovely little strawberry parfait It was on par with any $$$ Brunch, and included with the stay I can’t say enough wonderful things about the experience Worth every penny

We had no issues! The only thing I wish would of been different is a rotating breakfast schedule Both days it was the same items available, but hey, it’s free can’t really complain about that! All in All was a perfect stay! I’d definitely book there again if I was in the area!

When I drove up to the hotel I was not wanting to stay here It did not look inviting at all I was in the parking lot looking for another hotel because I knew this place was not somewhere I wanted to stay

I wanted to see how the room looked, so I checked in and they allowed me to check in early To my surprise the room was clean and comfortable The staff was very friendly and polite It was great for a one night stay Thank you for an amazing stay!!!! 🧡🧡

Noah Pehowic

Despite the dingy exterior and lack of signage for the office, the rooms themselves are quite nice for being a budget place Updated and fairly clean; liked the hard vinyl flooring instead of carpet, which traps dirt and bacteria The bathroom was quite clean, too

Only complaints are that the service wasn’t great; the woman at the front desk was not exactly helpful, but alas, it was 9pm when we checked in Also, I was unaware of the $50 incidental fee I had to pay upon check-in despite having paid online, so keep that in mind when booking Might have seen what could’ve been a bed bug, though I’m no entomologistI don’t understand why many complain of the noise; it was quiet for us, and the loudness of other guests isn’t exactly something the staff can control It’s sandwiched between a highway and a main road And the walls are thin, sure — but it’s a budget hotel that was built in the last 50 years or so, what do you expect? Overall, great experience for a budget hotel Would be back if I was in the area again

Amy Thomas

From the outside this hotel looks like a dump It should be $50/night I paid $200! It was not worth the money

The room itself was newly remodeled It smelt like weed when we walked into our non-smoking room The worst part was the noises all night Traffic, people, music Looks like a place for rift raft to hand out Will not be back Staff was pleasant

This not a 5 star hotel BUT the staff are incredibly kind and helpful The rooms are clean and comfortable The parking is safe

Plus it’s right next to the Jones River Walkway! And the view from our room was spectacular, plus there was a little bench you can sit and drink your morning coffee at We didn’t have the free breakfast but can only assume it’s like the rest of hotel breakfasts that I am generally not a fan of I’d stay here again for sure

Sherry Welch

I’ve stayed in Wyndhams from md to Vegas & I have to say I was not pleased with our room in this one

the bathtub need to be replaced, the mirror in the bathroom had a long black mark (not sure what it was) No extra pillow in the room (had no pillow for the pullout sofa) Now I will say it was between 10pm-11pm when we were doing the bed thing so we didn’t call down to the desk to see if we can get an extra pillow or 2, but normally they are in the room Besides the bathroom & pillow issue the rest of the place seemed nice People behind the counter were very nice when we checked in & out

Mahmut Agba

I had the opportunity stay at this hotel for a night I suggest you keep expectations low if you are planning to book this hotelRoomGenerally clean; no coffee machine; no hair dryer; limited bath supplies; strange wall-to-wall mirror behind the bed’s headboard; tv was placed on top of an ugly closet, tilted to front, felt like it may fall down anytime; clean bath tub and sink; clean towels; clean bed; quiet heating / cooling unitServiceThe lady in the reception treats you like she does not want you to stay there

It seems like she hates her job Also, she is not friendly at allI can easily say that the hotel is managed by extremely cheap people It is obvious that they are trying to save money on every little thing There is a low quality coffee machine in the lobby, but that coffee unfortunately literally stinks There is a sign on the wall, stating that there is complimentary breakfast between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM The breakfast is served in a brown bag (yoghurt and granola bar :)) which you pick at the reception and take to your room I was down a the reception at 9am and noticed the receptionist lady was trying to hide Finally, she stepped out to the main desk to check out another guest When I asked for a breakfast bag, she said breakfast is until 9AM It was 9:10am during this conversation I pointed at the wall sign and told her it must be available until 9:30am, and she again said it is until 9am Quite honestly, she did not seem like a normal person, so I did not want to get into any argument I was about to check out anywayThis place seems like a cheap hotel with low standards The management is trying to market it as they are facilitated with your expectations, but everything you see is low quality, and they make you feel like they have been fooling you, which I always find very rudeI WOULD NEVER EVER WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

The first room we entered had an awful smell The second room had a smell but not as bad The rooms were clean

The bed was soft The linen was clean Plenty of towels The receptionist was nice and accommodating to our group Each of the rooms we were in had a full fridge and a 2 isle stove There were dishes, silverware and pots to use We did not utilize any of the items, but it would be useful to someone who has to stay for a while

Pam Hutchins

Stayed here due to needing a pet friendly hotel (not motel) that was pet friendly near SeafordThe good:I have a very finicky back, and the bed was actually very comfortable Decent water pressure in the shower

Lobby and exterior were very niceThe bad:Room smelled like it definitely used to be a smoking room Cleanliness of the room was a B-minus at best Hair in the soap dish Carpet was dirty enough that my feet had visible dirt when I got in the shower Debris in the drawer that obviously hadn’t been cleaned Fridge had trash in it Breakfast was not the normal buffet, but pre-made breakfast sandwiches Some dude came and knocked on our door at 1am incessantly looking for someone The person that checked us in was nice, but the people on the second night was kind of strange and she and someone else (a guest? Another employee?) Kept staring at us weirdly whenever we went through the lobby

Jared Sturtevant

Our single room suite on the 4th floors was nice spacious and cleanMore than expectedThe couch was a pullout making enough room for our family of 5 +1 w/ an air mattressWe didn’t expect the microwave, fridge, sink and counter area based on the website

– they didn’t have flatware, dinnerware or glassware in any of the 11 cupboards + 4 kitchen drawers

Sharon Headings

As soon as we got off on the second floor, we were enveloped with the smell of weed It was apparent that someone tried to cover up the smell with cleaning products We had adjoining rooms and open both of the windows to air out the room

It was nauseating Water pressure was great, but the whole hotel could use major updating Was really close to the wedding we went to

We had a great stay The staff was friendly and efficient when checking in Our room was very very clean (and I am picky)

The included in the room were all exactly what we needed Microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, wine opener and cups The room size was nice The fireplace was needed for the damp May weather this year The bed was comfortable and parking was perfect So many restaurants within walking distance Would definitely recommend staying here

thomas burns

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed Staff is friendly and service was first rateRoom was large, plenty of room (we travel a lot, and one thing i cannot stand is hotel room claustrophobia lol) and very well appointed

Comfortable bed and furnishings, bathroom was huge and well laid out Fireplace was a very nice touch Location was excellent also; very close to everything; easy to get to alsoHotel staff is very knowledgeable about the area as well10/10, highly recommend and WILL stay there again!!!!

Mark Ratzlaff

Great location

just a few minutes’ walk from tons of great little shops and restaurants The rooms are large and *beautiful* and perfectly clean; the fantastic staff knows each room individually and will recommend the best one for your needs The bathrooms are large, with unique lighting under the translucent sinks that made perfect “nightlights” We appreciated the separate “water closet”Sadly, the bed was the hardest piece of furniture in the room the wife ended up on the couch The wifi was slow when I could connect at all my phone seems ok with it, but it refused to talk to my notebook at all The few electrical outlets are mostly already in use; I unplugged the clock so I could charge my phone
