Upon checking in, I noticed the lobby was clean and welcoming The staff was VERY friendly Breakfast was good (not much to choose from for picky eaters)

Room, really nice Comfort bedding Restroom clean Iron did not work TV channels are boring (bring a fire stick) On the third and final night of my stay, HUGE roaches similar to water bugs were crawling EVERYWHERE, I was scared to sleep because the bugs had wings Luckily, I packed Raid An exterminator is needed Overall, the stay was GOOD until the PEST spoiled my night I cannot rest with bugs if I am not camping

First, we were sent to a room that was never serviced Then we were given another “executive suite” The hotel is old and not cleaned very well

The pillows were hard and not very comfortable The shower was hot, and that is a plus The breakfast was OK The help at the breakfast bar was very good The coffee was the worst I ever had The lobby was very clean I travel a lot and this is the first one star I have ever given to a hotel Come on, you can do better than this

Cade Grimm

The staff are very friendly here The hotel is in pretty good shape The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy but there was a bit of a musty smell which seems to be pretty commonplace anymore as far as hotels I’ve stayed in lately whether I spend $90 a night or $200

There’s free breakfast but the coffe isn’t great There is a Starbucks within walking distance though

We chose this hotel location as we were attending an airsoft even fifteen minutes down the road We made the reservations online through IHGcom

The rates were very reasonable The staff were very professional and friendly for the duration of out stay The location is up on a hill and a Wal-Mart is conveniently around the corner The only cons is the motion-activated exhaust fan in the bathroom We had to turn it off every time we went in there and the beds were so firm that they were almost hard Otherwise, a very pleasant stay

Israel Reyes

The staff at the front desk Mrs Jasmine was superb and excellent skills/knowledge when it comes to questions and fixing any problems Rooms are comfortable & quiet, housekeeping were nice and helpful

The pool has been broken for a while and the pool water was green (algee), they ned to fix that pool especially with the heat in Milledgeville The breakfast was ok, however about half hour before closing they ran out of some food No AC on the elevator and no back up generator when the lights went out for about 3 hours, some guests got stuck on the elevator and the FD had to be called to get them out Overall was an ok stay, could be better if they fix those issues that I’ve mentioned

Irene Roldan

Security CamerasI loved this hotel, I’m a regular here Until this weekend

There were a lot of drunks and one of them hit my brand new truck (he was driving a burgandy challenger) When I requested the license plates They said the cameras are not good and didn’t catch anything

I’ve stayed at hotels all across the country and Milledgeville has been the best by far The staff make the stay wonderful, they’re the sweetest most personable people and because of them we have gone out of our way to stay here as long as we could even though our business is all the way in Marietta and down in Florida It was well worth the extra hours of driving just to finish up our days here

Thank you for a fantastic experience! Please, if you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet hotel with the best hospitality the south can offer, make a trip out here!

Matt Vicens

The room was clean and the staff was friendly, however I have to give this one star because of the experience I had this morning I needed to grab breakfast on the run so I picked up a granola bar and chocolate milk from the breakfast area On the way to the job site I opened the milk and took a drink and felt the first chunk hit the back of my throat

The smell filled the car a moment later It was a miserable experience I only hope I don’t get sick from what little I wasn’t able to spit outIt speaks volumes when a company doesn’t put the health and safety of its guests first with something as simple as food storage The carton was still 5 days from expiration, so this could only be explained by improper storage/refrigerationDo better, Marriott

leonard johnson

When I first walked in I smelled clean That is so importan!! The place looked great The rooms had nice comfy beds

My room had a fridge/microwave New TVs that had good working remotes with plenty of channels The bathrooms were very clean and the black and white tile was a nice touch The hotel has an indoor pool that was pretty large It led out to an outdoor area with a nice gazebo A small gym, was located next to the indoor pool

If I could give it negative stars I would My booking was 2:00 pm I called the hotel and informed them I was going to be late because I was at the wrong location when I arrived I paid for a room that wasn’t what I booked and wasn’t cleaned at all when I asked for the room I booked he said the regular rooms are 69

99 and said the room that “I assumed I booked” was $140 my total came to 9565 for one night so I ask what room was I booked for he checked the computer and said I booked a regular room so when I informed the man he over charged me for an I cleaned room that I didn’t book in the first place he told me that the rooms price was 7999 $80 with tax and the room I assumed I booked (with jacuzzi tub – Smoking) was $160 and I could pay for the room or get a double queen when I asked for my money back his wife came and said it would be back with in 2-3 days I couldn’t wait 2-3 days to pay for the room I want my money and I have pictures and if I can’t upload them here I’m posting this on the BBB

Hotel was super clean Staff was extremely friendly and professional The receptionist girl (I forget her name) was awesome, she helped recommend some nice places to check out over the weekend

The breakfast prepared by Loretta turned out amazing, more hotels should follow suite and prepare different breakfasts like this The breakfast room was different but nice and comfortable Pool was small (seems to be a thing in this town) Shower/bathroom was great, room was clean, (please upgrade microwaves as they can’t even pop a small bag of popcorn) Location is great, the food, mall, and theater are basically walking distance, along with a bar (super expensive tho $10/hr for pool tables) and Walmart less than a mile away Workout room was a bit small, but had decent equipment from what I noticed Has a hookup for RVs from what I saw Internet was good, fast and at the time was decently secured tho it doesn’t like Linux computers

Amanda Hughes

Front desk customer service is lacking The male who checked us in barely spoke to us, did not smile, and did not make us feel welcome The girl at check out greeted us

When we went to the room, it was open YES! There was no hot water! These were reported twice, but disregarded, by even management Room was nice Update – I called the hotel & spoke with the manager He was less than helpful I completed the form as he requested & that was that NO 100% satisfaction here

Only 2 things this hotel has going for it are the massive rooms and indoor pool The hotel was dirty from time of checkin to checkout The room had ashes from a cigarette, shower was disgusting to look at

Pool was small but good for kids I guess Cockroaches on the stairs and some dried substance in the room floor I don’t know how it received a 3star rating – maybe only due to the room size maybe? After seeing the bugs I wasn’t about to have the breakfast

Carson Nelson

To start we arrive at the hotel and the lobby is extremely hot, the front desk staff was very nice We get into our room and find hair, stains, and holes all inside the sheets of the bed The couch had writing all over it and the walls had large scratches

The bathroom was disgusting and seemed like it had not been cleaned in ages I would never recommend this hotel

David Roberts

I had a reservation for tonight Yesterday I got a call and a cryptic message was left saying they needed to talk about my reservation Today I have tried to reach them 6 or so times throughout the day and they don’t answer the phone

I’m pretty sure this is how they passive-aggressively cancel my reservation? If you are going to cancel my reservation please say so Communication is better than cowardice Comfort Suites is terrible, and does not honor their commitments

My husband and I checked in Room 222 on 4/15/22 at the Home 2 Suites in Macon, Ga I was awakened out of my sleep with my husband jumping out of the bed saying something is biting me He cut on the lights and I jumped out of the bed to see what was going on

He had red raised areas all on his neck; upper and mid ; back ; shoulders and arms I pulled the covers back on his side of the bed and saw small black bugs crawling on the linen This happened at 05am in the morning We left the hotel at 7Am We informed the front desk The staff was unapologetic No one offered another room or try to rectify the situation They didn’t go look in the room They charged us for the room We asked for the manager They gave us a card and said “He was not there; and that he would be back the following week I emailed the General Manager and he has yet to return my calls or respond to our emailsI have never been treated this way or have had this type of experience at a Hotel This has been the worst experience I have had so far in my life

Richard retire2011!r

I left my AARP card at the check-in desk upon checking in The staff never told me they found my card Staff said it was found the next day after I check-out

Since it was left right by the PC at the front desk, they must not be sanitizing the counter frequently because any one with eyes would have seen it When I arrived at my next stop, I called Macon Home2 and was told they had my card but I would have to go to a post office and mail them the postage to get the card back! I am a Hilton HHonors member for years and they couldn’t do this for me after paying $275 for a one night stay for my family I called twice to speak to the Manager and was told he/she was not there The Manager never returned my calls Also their breakfast was sub-par for a Hilton property Never staying here againFollow-up: The AARP was mailed to me and my HHonors account was credited with some points for the inconvenience I am satisfied

Very shady area, unfriendly staff The room smelled like an ashtray Cockroach found ,then we left

We only stopped because we had been traveling for 12 hours and was exhausted, it’s 3a, and needed to get some sleep This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at There were goes in the bathroom, filthy baseboards We slept on top of the covers, fully clothed Definitely do not stay here!

Frank Baloun

The desk called my room at 11:45pm (while sleeping) and said “come to the front we need to talk about your bill” – I called back, confirmed it was legit, got dressed, and went to the office I had extended my stay but was incorrectly charged by the desk agent at that time Still, the night on which I was awakened was in-fact paid! Why could this notice not wait for morning or be left as a note? Instead, I was handed a phone at the desk to speak directly with the establishment’s owner who was extremely unpleasant to speak with

Ultimately, he refused to offer me a weekly rate over a daily rate stating the computer system would not allow a change Meanwhile, all records at the desk existed on paper DO NOT STAY HERE – it is not worth your savings and the rooms are disgusting I developed a strange rash that took over a week to clear up of which I attribute to those sheets

Arihanne Konan

This is the nastiest place I ever stayed The room smells cigarettes even they said it’s a non-smoking room The room, bed linens, towels, bathroom nasty 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I booked my stay for 4 nights and checked out the next day I slept in my car the first night because I couldn’t stand the room I will never again come back to that hotel🤮🤮🤮

I use this hotel for national guard duties Really nice beds and rooms Bathrooms are really nice too

Shampoo and soap smells real nice too Only problem I got it the bathroom doors don’t lock properly The breakfast is good for hotel breakfast They always have coffee and hot chocolate (I personally love the hot chocolate more) ready and available If they don’t all you have to to do is simple ask for a it and they will be with you in seconds

Rebekah Barton

The rooms were very nice and clean The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was by far better than most with a great variety of options for everyone The staff makes you feel welcome the instant you walk through the door and are willing to answer any questions you may have

This hotel is certainly one of Milledgeville’s hidden gems

Joana M. McMillan Fox

I was traveling with a middle school band and although the kids were well behaved, middle schoolers can be very loud The staff was nice and helpful, especially the front desk clerk She was patient with some of our kids forgetting their keys in their rooms and my botched third party reservation

Clean and comfortable rooms Thank you!

We are on a family road trip and planned on ONLY staying in Best Westerns because they are reasonably priced and nice hotels with good breakfasts This particular Best Western has been the worst Best Western we’ve stayed in and we’ve been to this hotel chain all over the country First off, the receptionist was really rude

He acted really inconvenienced that we interrupted his smoke break to check us in When we got to our room there was a bug on our pillow and the room smelled like mildew and mold We asked for another room and he said no Then we asked for a refund and again he said no The icing on the cake is that they don’t offer hot breakfast here even though this location states online that they offer it I wish knew all this before booking here I hope this helps someone passing through here There’s plenty of other options with better amenities right next door Definitely look into another hotel

Kevin Helms

This was a less than impressive stay The rooms were clean, but had high levels of moisture which could be felt in the air and your belongingsThere is only one person working the desk so checkin can be slow

Because of staffing issues, they did not have a hot breakfast even though the website said they did They offer a grab and go, but the choices were not very goodThe pool was also closed in June and the website said they had a pool and did not have any message saying it was temporarily closed

I will admit I was a bit afraid of staying here based on some of the reviews I see posted, but it was a business trip, so I had to go with it I had a great 5 day experience with no issues The receptionist was friendly & the check in went quickly and smoothly

My room was clean and the bed was super comfy! The area was amazingly quiet even with a parking lot full of guests Great place to to unwind, take a hot shower and get a great night’s sleep after 14 hour work days!

I visit the the lake county of Baldwin often, and when in town I enjoy the comfortable stay at Days Inn My previous trip to Milledgeville on 02/25/22 was ordinary Rooms are typically available, and the check in process is swift

However, upon leaving this morning, I noticed a blood stain on the mattress protector in my room I brought my findings to the attention of staff, and was thanked for notifying them While visiting, don’t hesitate to express your concerns to the appropriate staff

This is the place if your traveling I-75 near Macon Georgia! This is in Byron technicallyWe stopped at 3 other small motels in this immediate vicinity For about $10 more, this place looked better on the outside and offered a hot bteakfast vs cereal and maybe some fresh fruit! We received a welcoming, spacious and clean room with 2 queens

The beds were super cozy! (4 fluffy pillows on each) The room also boasted a generous desk with drawers and a small sitting table with a very cozy armchair Air conditioner ran beautifullyThere was free HBO on a nice sized flat screen that swivels It even had a large mini fridge and microwave Ice machines on both levels as well as vending machines and washer and dryers in the breezewayWe discovered an indoor pool and spa that looked well maintained when we went to check out the breakfast The delicious breakfast was spot on! You can make your own fluffy hot waffles, which was pretty cool! It was a pretty full setup; Those waffles 😋grits, sausage, eggs, bagles and bread for toasting, muffins, yogurt varieties, 3 different juices, and ofcourse the omnipresent cereal and fruit 😉 with every condiment imaginable The hostess was a real sweetheart too Thankyou! We are on our way back from a 5 day camping trip in the Grand Smokies therefore a nice hot shower in a clean friendly spot was very appreciated We would definitely stop here again!
