The place is clean and fairly new The beds were very comfy and the room was pretty decent as well However, you can barely see anyone who’s working here besides the front desk girl

The only room service that provided was replacing the trash bag and towels for our two days stay The environment was suppose to be smoke free but we smelled weed in the hall way and no one cares or do anything about it The sound insulation is also super bad that during our stay, we had a noisy neighbor that kept us awake at 1am for two days by just walking on the floor or something I really wanted to love it here but our experience wasn’t pleasant as we would expected

The desk clerk was friendly Well lit parking lot, felt like a safe area Rooms were very spacious and clean, bed comfy enough, but walls are thin

You can hear outside noise Luckily, it was minimal during our stay I liked the toiletry options and the mirror The remote control was duct taped together, but the AC definitely worked! About $75 for the nightI didn’t hate it I could sleep there again if needed

It was okay

unfortunately the “included” breakfast is a complete joke, and we got the feeling they were using covid as an excuse to NOT deliver We did get free beer each evening during ‘happy hour’ hence not giving an even lower ratingThe rooms are spacious although they are a bit “tired” and could do with some improvement We had a family suite with an additional room but sadly no cutlery or crockery and could therefore not use the kitchenetteThe location is great, we had easy and quick access to all the places we needed to visit

Chris McMillon

At face value, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was reasonable But I won’t be staying here again because they skimp on the coffee, and the man in reception was absolutely miserable, and did not seem to appreciate my presence there at all He frowned, hardly spoke, and made me uncomfortable

A smile costs nothing and personality goes a long ways

Since I do not live in Houston, I found it hard to locate a nice and clean hotel I was lucky finding this hotel I was able to make a reservation without any problems

When we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful This is a family runned business We booked a room located on the ground floor that was perfect for me as I am physically handicapped The room was spacious and had hard wood floors The bathroom was nice with a large shower and a jaccuzi type tub My husband and I highly recommend Home Place Inn Medical Center Another plus is it’s close to most of Houston’s hospitals

We stayed there as family with 2 teenagers for 6 nites, first 4 nites at room 323 then we switch to 223 The beds n pillows were comfy, rooms were clean, free breakfast has good selection, well layout and not crowded Front desk n breakfast staff were friendly

The only hiccups we had was the chamber maid of room 323, she clearly showed some body language of disdain when we asked for some extra towels and shampoo on our 3rd and 4th days even though we haven’t had any cleaning service throughout our stays But when we moved down to room 223, the chamber maid was friendly and nice even with limited Englsih

Cory Daniel Scallions

The most rude general manager I’ve ever seen in my life Asked my wife and I to leave with no car, 100 degrees outside and already booked for the night Will never come back

All this because I complained about her obvious rudeness towards us $120 a night what a joke Unprofessional and unfair I wish I could leave negative stars over and over

Subpar Hampton Inn experience Rooms are a little older and smaller than usualAC blows continuously, even in the winter and you can’t turn off the fan

CrazyBreakfast was ok and nice people up front However, for the same money, walk across the parking lot to the Marriott for a better room

My girlfriend and I stay here quite often when we attend events in Houston We recently booked again for 2 nights We usually use some kind of booking app, some of them provide discounts

At check in, the clerk seemed quite disgruntled/ annoyed that we’d gotten the room at a discounted price We thought nothing much of it, until we happened to land in a room with lights missing, no working TV or air conditioning Of the many times we have stayed here, there is not a single issue When we called the front desk, the same clerk answered with no help at all Didn’t know how to fix anything, offered no solution, told us to turn on the AC Dude, clearly we have been trying that Anyways, since we are both non confrontational and already unpacked/ taking showers, we stayed in the room and just decided to never stay at this hotel again 3 stars because the rooms are mostly clean, we did get a room once with blood near the door The wifi barely works and the hairdryers all smell like old cigarettes I guess you get what you pay for :’)

This place is by far the most disgusting hotel I’ve stayed at If I could give negative stars, I’d do it Both service and overall cleanliness

I had roaches in my room and spoke with the manager (Riaj) about it, he didn’t want to rectify the situation Told me that the roaches were my fault and that I shouldn’t have left food out Said he could only give a discounted refund Was very argumentative and called the police on me Also, one of the employees ( last name Gardner) accessed my private information through hotel records and tried to add me on social media at the time of incident Completely disgusting and unprofessional I’d rather have a presidential stay in hell than to stay here again This place is a circus

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and I have never in countered such inconvenience as I have this time You hang a don’t disturb sign and they still knock on your door asking if the room is empty Then they rush you to check out when they are ready to clean when check out is till 12

This place is trash now with this new management Last time I stay herehire Americans

Astrid’s Jewelry

The room was dirty and the toilet was not cleaned before my arrival I asked for another room, and they assigned a new room in this one the restroom mirror was dirty and I saw cockroaches The advertisement includes HOT breakfast, when I asked for details about the breakfast the receptionist informed me that they ONLY offer a bag with a tangerine, a granola bar, and yogurt as breakfast

The pool is closed until further notice The staff only said that “we are only employees, the owners are the ones that make the rules”

Not happy they say pool and Continental breakfast but none of that is true first off the pool is closed because they don’t have a permit and they say they don’t have the continental breakfast because of covid was a total rip off I could have paid $10 more and had a swimming pool and continental breakfast but I believed they had it and was very disappointed when they didn’t have any of it it’s a rip off

The worst customer service i have experienced in this industry Made a 2 night reservation Never canceled

Property Management decides on their own to cancel and then rerent the room Then, charged me I show up and my room is gone Manager tells me that he has that right if you are not there by 4 pm so, why would anyone make a reservation that has a later flight or a job or anything So i call customer care, i get no care, nothing they can do Up to 10 days to hear back Customer representative wants me to talk with Property Management I already did and got a horrible attitude Asked for manager of customer service, told no manager Asked if representative was working at home, said no Asked if he was working with no manager on duty Finally got transferred Told the manager what happened and stated a customer should not be spoke to in this way Manager states customers shouldn’t talk to her that way Confused, never raised my voice, was not blaming her, and was asking why this happened Manager ended up being very rude as well And, as i tried to finish as the manager kept interrupting, manager hang up Unbelievable!! No customer service, horrible attitudes, and no resolve on a simple 2 night stay So, as i told the manager, i will be disputing the charges with my bank and contacting BBB This is the level of customer care? This is not my first hotel But, this is the first time in decades to be treated so horribly by so many of your staff

There was no sense of urgency at check in, location was not great The hotel is right across the freeway from Methodist West, on the feeder off Greenhouse Definitely car dependent & not convenient if last minute items are needed

Clean, have a bar, room was modern with a ceiling fan & comfortable Was told breakfast would be from 6-10 Went down at 7, to a very empty dining area Asked the front desk about the breakfast and was told no breakfast that morning that’s all she knew and was told to say She indicated she was the manager I felt her attitude was dismissive and unaccommodating The staff and location made this a place I do not want to return
