Sonesta ES is the definition of a home away from home The rooms come with a stove top and a kitchen fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook a meal The rooms are impeccably clean and extremely comfortable

Along with a 5 ft deep pool, the hotel has a basketball court, grilling area, and fire pit To top off the amazing rooms and awesome amenities, the staff is outstanding They go above and beyond to make sure your are comfortable and have everything you need In particular, I’ve checked in with Kim and Angela and they are amazing Overall I give this hotel a 10/10, would DEFINITELY recommend!

KermitSC

Surprised and disappointed by the fact they’re are still serving grab and go breakfast, maybe as an excuse for not having enough staff Room is nothing special, has a big desk, which is good for working but overall room illumination very weak, a bit depressing Staff manners need some work, when I arrived last night a lady walked behind the counter without greeting or saying a single word

Treating was very unwelcoming

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in (and I travel a ton) The pillows were so uncomfortable, I slept terribly both nights I was there Coming home with a neck ache

I asked for more pillows and they told me they didn’t have any more to give me (I only had 2 pillows and they were both awful) The floors were dirty and the coffee tasted like dirt This place is a no-go

I understand why this hotel has so many good reviews The accommodations are straightforward but clean and with everything a traveler needs What makes the hotel stand out is the staff—incredibly kind and thoughtful

Brooks in particular was great to work with, but everyone went out of their way to make our stay as nice as possible Highly recommend

Mary Martin

We checked into this hotel late the night before an early morning flightThe hotel was extremely clean and it was beautifully decorated for the holidaysThe staff was helpful by checking us in

The amenities were great The beds were very comfortable More than satisfied plan to stay again next time we have an early flight out of Raleigh

Yelena Boroda

Well, I don’t ever leave negative reviews, but checking in and getting the keys to a room where the previous guest’s personal items are scattered deserves a mention And then getting the keys to a new room and finding the fold-out bed covered in crumbs, and having to wait for a vacuum cleaner tips the scale into the opposite of a positive review, doesn’t it?

I would have given this Hotel of 5 Star but they turn the water off from 10:00 am to 3:00 p

m upon check-in they said that the water would be off from these hours, but the water was off until after 5:00 pm That is a really long time to be without running water Water is very crucial in the mid-time of the day There is no water to access the shower, sink, and the toilet Imagine how gross that could beThe staff is very nice They have breakfast in the morning that includes a cold sandwich that you can heat up, yogurts, muffins and other items Items There is coffee out the majority of the dayThe rooms were clean and the room was very spacious I had a fridge and a microwave in my room I’m not sure if all the rooms are equipped with this, but you can request one upon checking inAll in all I enjoyed my stay And there is a hotel shuttle to and from the airport although it does not run all dayI apologize I did not take any pictures But I promise I will upload them next time

Clean and well maintained Airport hotel Prompt and pleasant checking Room is clean and well maintained

Big plus for this hotel if proximity to RDU, airport shuttle and complimentary parking for the duration of your travel Breakfast is provided in the lobby Lobby also has several computer terminals I have stated here several times and it is always pleasant

This was a quick one night stay Front desk staff very friendly Room was nice, very comfortable, clean

Good location Wish the grab and go breakfast selection was better As we were leaving to checkout, my daughter and I got stuck in the elevator for about 30 mins and the fire dpt had to come We were fine and had no problems, funny now Firemen were so kind and carried all of our luggage down the stairs Ladies at front desk were so shocked, apologetic and kind, and we had a little laugh I knew it was a fluke thing but I’m a little leary of elevators now I would stay here again though, nice hotel and staff Very memorable stay!

Construction on the floor above started at 7 am Wasn’t informed before booking It’s annoying when you need sleep, as the weather was hot and exhausting

A vacation nightmareOn a good note, the pool was spacious and relaxing like bathwater Could have had more umbrellas for shade, as NC is hotService n/a, but staff was very friendly People in the south are super friendlyBeds felt like soft clouds A lot of charging ports in the rooms Automatic air conditioningAmple parking lots Parking spaces are incredibly thin Not good for larger vehicles Perhaps a designated area for larger vehicles?Spacious refrigerator in room is a plus Can hold 2 gallon jugs of water and food for a few meals No microwave, but I eat raw, so it was greatAs sleep is important for alertness and functioning, the only disappointment was the constant knocking on the floor above my bedThanks for reading ❤️

Michael McLeod

Spent a couple of nights there with my wife while she attended a conference at the hotel Room was clean and neat, bedding was comfortable with plenty of pillows Room had small refrigerator, desk space plus a comfortable chair with foot stool

My wife had a $20 hamburger from the hotel restaurant but I didn’t try the food She said the meeting spaces were good with a variety of setups and meeting room sizes available Staff was friendly and helpful as needed

Zoya Yeprem

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip The hotel is fine and provides all the basics you need for a business trip The hotel has a nice lobby with lots of space to sit comfortably while charging your devices, nice and spacious meeting rooms and a cozy bar to hang out after hours

Currently the breakfast is served at the cafe in the lobby and you can pick from menu items — so no continental buffet — whichI liked However the rooms could be much better for a 4-star hotel My room had cracked walls, dysfunctional power outlets and leaking bath tubFor those who like their morning runs or enjoy walking around, there is a 4-mile walking path/trail that you can access by exiting the hotel parking from Slater Rd and then crossing the street

This hotel was a 10/10 the room was Large for just being a standard 2 double bed room Then the bathroom was So Large too with a LOT of counter space It was the perfect place for anyone needing to get to the airport for an early flight or picking someone up from a late one

Very easy check in process and fantastic customer service Plus bonus for adults with kids the pool was so kid friendly with the bottom floor having a back door so kids could walk out and parents could watch from inside or from the comfortable pool chairs My 11 year old daughter loves swimming and watching all the planes take off overhead! It was even fun for us adults Would love to go back again

Pros-Hotel is very well located for our trip Very well priced compared to the surrounding hotels Coffee and waffles are a plus in the morning

Staff is good avg Wendys is walking distance it you need a snack Pool is outsideCons-the rooms have everything you need tho are in need of some updating When we arrived it was 90+ outside and the room AC was not on No a big deal Also we ended up noticing someone had a pet in the hall we assumed the odor we catch every once I’m awhile it a pet odorOverall, for the duration of our trip the hotel is fine compared to others I’ve stayed in over the years For pet friendly hotel it very good If the trip was shorter I may have opted to stay at a slightly more newer/expensive but like I said for the price it not a bad deal I would recommend

Pradyumna Lakshmipuram

It’s great for the price! Got the suite and it was more space than we expected!Other reviews talk about no locks on bathroom door or the bedroom door, I can see if it bothers them, but for us, it was no botherThe suite was the price of a regular king in the neighboring hotels, so we thought it was a great value for the price Overall maintenance could be a little better though

Both times we had to check in after 10:00 pm The woman at the front desk was not really the warmest person and is not perhaps, the right person for that job

She was not forthcoming in any direction whatsoever Asking her questions and getting answers was like pulling teeth She did not inform us that we needed to sign up for the shuttle to the airport and therefore we had to wait for a later one, throwing us off schedule, we asked her about it, she barely answered our question with just a simple, “yeah it drives all day” She barely spoke to us We had to ask about the park and fly option that we signed up for, she told us nothing Upon returning from our trip, we told her we just got back from Costa Rica and she said, oh no, that’s one place I never want to go We really don’t care where she wants to go, we just thought how unprofessionally rude that comment was at the time She may be a very nice lady outside of work, I don’t know, I’m just saying this may not the right job for her and I’m surprised that the Holiday Inn would want her as a representative of their business I must say, the gentleman who worked the night shift into the early morning hours was a pleasure, had a great sense of humor and was very informative The two gentlemen we met who drove the airport shuttles were absolutely delightful! It was really the front desk woman who was borderline rude and indifferent

John Kukla

I have nothing but good things to say! The rooms are spacious, clean and bright and the beds are extremely comfortableThe staff has been nothing but friendly and accommodatingThere’s a bar / restaurant downstairs with great food and decent prices, especially for a hotel

Keep in mind the property is 6 stories high, but there are a pair of elevatorsThe hotel is very close to the airport, and planes fly over at 1000 ft AGL or less, so there is some noise, but it’s not obtrusiveAll in Ann an extremely pleasant stay Thank you guys!!

It is a decent hotel under renovations You could smell the paint in the hallways The Breakfast was decent

Lacking in service I asked for ride to the airport the day before They did not call until time I wanted to leave Driver was from another hotel and just siting around I was shocked when random people were asked to wear mask in the main area during breakfast

John Kukla

I Booked a handicap accessible room with a roll-in shower, and spoke to a rep at the property to make sure that the room was indeed available The desk clerk guaranteed me, over the phone, that the room would be availableWhen I arrived at the property, I was told that the room we had booked was unavailable

No redress was offended; we had to drive to another hotel 10 minutes awayAbsolutely unacceptable

Rerouting Pleasure House Rd creates issues getting in and out of Airgate Dr Once you’ve navigated it, it isn’t too bad but the navigation systems (at least mine) have not caught up with the change

Otherwise it is a convenient location to the airport, Brier Creek shopping and highways (I40 and 540) to take you anywhere They also provide an airport shuttle which is very much appreciatedRooms are clean and comfortable Staff is helpful and attentiveBreakfast is adequate with hot and cold options along with juices, coffee and teaI have been using this hotel for many years and will continue to do so

We actually did not end up staying here We had a reservation for 3 nights and when we arrived, we were dissatisfied with the room and checked out The rooms are just very run-down

Our room had an odd smell to it, the carpet had lumpy spots throughout, the heater made a loud noise when running, bed and pillows were VERY worn Also, there was a hole in the door to the bathroom Overall, just not worth spending money to stay here, in my opinionI will say the staff was VERY friendly and made it simple/easy to cancel our reservation I was very thankful for that I just wish they would use some money to renovate throughout

My wife and I had just driven a full day from Tennessee to move to the area and stayed at this hotel They were very polite at the desk and were able to accommodate both us and our two cats I was very pleased to find a nice hotel that was also pet friendly

The location was very clean and also offered breakfast in the morning The breakfast spread was surprisingly good, several options that were to-go friendly as we had to run to meet the moversI would recommend this location if you fly into the area

George Schmidt

We booked this hotel through a third party site Upon arriving, we learned that the reservation was not in their system We called this third party and were told that we needed to give them up to 30 minutes to resolve the issue

They also initially refused to give us a refund I was traveling with my wife and our toddler who was very cranky after a long flight, so hearing that we’d need to wait even longer was very distressingJasmine really went to bat for us and was able to help us get a refund from this travel company She also booked us the same type of room at an even lower price than we originally paid! She was absolutely phenomenal and helped turn a bad situation completely around Our stay was very comfortable and we had a great experience overall Thanks Jasmine!

Our first room had an issue with the A/C but they promptly sent up someone to fix it When determined it wasn’t they quickly switched us to another room The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us get to airport in time for our flight

The staff seemed like a big family and we thoroughly enjoyed our very short stay The room was bigger than we anticipated, quiet & super clean, even though it was a little older We would definitely stay there again should the need arise

Rita Bliden

Located minutes from the airport, we arrived after 10pm Room was clean, pillows were disappointing, but that is a very personal preference The air conditioner was irratctactly noisy, and the refrigerator had an unnecessary loud hum

Our breakfast was amazing! The wait staff was friendly, fun, and just the right amount of attentive Our omelets were made to order and we could put as many items in as we wanted I said this may be the best hotel breakfast i had ever had Good coffee and comfortable seating made for a great morning

Joseph Spampinato

I stay here on business frequently Being a road warrior I like to think I’m a good judge of value and hospitality The hotel is clean and well kept, the amenities function as they should, the location and access to points east and west is ideal for someone who has to travel the state and call somewhere home away from home

Most of all, the staff is wonderful and welcoming and has not lost the point of working in the hospitality industry – being hospitable and courteous and extending great customer service I eat in the restaurant frequently because the food is good and the service great Although a standard fare for the brand, its cooked with care and better than many others that offer the same menu I give personal kudos to Sean, Tina, Fatima, Jimmy, Elvis, Tyler, Antonia and Ryan I have to think that the GM has high standards You can’t fake sincere hospitality For anyone I may have left out, it’s probably because I failed to get your name My name isn’t as it appears in the review header, because I like my privacy It you know me as Ed Thanks for making me comfortable in those times I’d rather be home but can’t

The room itself was fine but there was no hot water in the bathroom sink or shower Called down to the desk and was told to tap the handles slowly to find the sweet spot and get hot water After a day that began at 4:30am I was less than thrilled

Decided to wait until the morning and tried their method with no results of hot water Even spoke to the desk again in the morning when I checked out and they just shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal I’m sorry but not being able to take a hot shower was not pleasant I was able to use the kitchen sink to wash up My co-worker did not have hot water either in her room at night but did in the morning The experience was unacceptable for a major hotel chain

One of the most comfortable stays I have been at a longtime and I have stated at many hotels from New Jersey to AsiaI was upgraded to King Suite Not many areas to eat in walking distance but plenty within 10 minutes of driving

Employees were Works Class The hotel was impeccably clean Breakfast was delicious Great job guys!!

We had a great stay at Home2 Suites! We flew in late and Roddy picked us up from the airport He even offered to drive us to pick up dinner on the way to the hotel as everything near the hotel was closed and he sensed our toddler needed to eat He also ensured we had a pack and play and everything we needed when we got back to the hotel and checked in

The hotel was clean and well kept – we all slept great and loved having the little living area to curtain off so our toddler could sleep! Thank you Roddy for your thoughtfulness and care – you are an amazing human!

The hotel was good, but the most I loved about the hotel was the breakfast and employee Fatima This hotel should be proud to have an employee like that She was so nice

Greeted me, helped me get my breakfast together, talked to me, and while I was eating my breakfast, I noticed how she took care of each person that came in What a sweet person In our days it’s hard to find great employees She deserves a raise for caring so much about every guest Thank you, Fatima I will definitely be coming back for my future stays

Nice rooms Not the most modern fixtures, but that’s not an issue for me Rooms were clean and comfortable

As is normal at TownPlace Suites, rooms have a full kitchenStaff was friendly and helpful It is very close to the airport and several business campuses in the area All in all a good place to stay

The staff was pleasant Fatima was really nice BUT, the place has a musty smell

I left my clothes in the car I tried changing rooms but then the next room reeked of deodorizer Breakfast was typical The computer & printer actually worked After the week I had I wanted to comfortable for my 3 wk stay The smell was the biggest turnoff It was not what I had come to expect from Marriott

Had to be at the airport at 330a so we decided to overnight it nearby Found this hotel by chance It’s kind of a pain to get to and out of(takes you around to get to the highway) but it was worth it

The look and feel was updated The hotel reps were polite and helpful In the lobby they provided a complimentary 24 hour coffee station, lots of space to lounge and do work, homework, or hangout with friends Their pool table was always occupied 24 hour gym available as well The bathroom in the lobby provided feminine products for free! Amazing! Right in front of the elevators, there was information/recommendations of things to do nearbyThe room itself was spacious The complimentary hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the dispensers were neat Comfortable bed, variety of channels to enjoy, decent sized shower I recommend this location! They really exceeded my expectation

Clean rooms and up to date Enjoyed the coffee and water stations all day Staff was friendly and helpful

Breakfast was mediocre – normal hotel continental breakfast Parking was a bit of an issue – not enough spaces in in lot But, it wasn’t a big deal to park in the grassy/gravel area behind the parking lot We enjoyed that housekeeping was not coming in everyday and only would come in for service if requested

Needed one night’s stay close to the RDU airport using my Hilton Honors points I was very pleased with how clean and convenient the hotel is and the bonus was how friendly the staff was I didn’t need a lot of frills, just a clean room, a comfortable bed and a safe location

I loved the soap and hair products dispensers in the bathroom!! Great way to cut down on waste! 👍All my needs were met and I’d stay there again without hesitation
