I lived my stay at this small, well located hotel It’s a gorgeous colonial style house, with beautiful interior styling All dark walls and lush carpets

There are only 12 rooms so it’s intimate and friendly They have fruit flavoured water at the entrance, and a complimentary wine and cheese hour every day! Perfect to enjoy in the lovely gardens around the pool, or in the lounge area The small breakfast offering was just right, with toast, bagels, yogurt, juice and a few hot items Add the coffee with optional take away cups and it’s a small but complete offering The room itself had a huge bed with good linens The bathroom had a strong shower and lots of amenities that you could replace at will from a stand on each floor There was a TV and a fireplace, and decent blackout curtains There is no maid service, unless requested Lastly, the friendly service from Trey and the team was fantastic We would love to come back again one day If I could give a couple improvement points, it would be to provide free water in the room, and wine glasses to enjoy that Napa take home wine!

This place has great architecture and a comfortable bedThe property is not well-maintained The pool was dirty

The hot tub was also dirty Our in-room air conditioner made a loud whistling noise, which made it hard to sleepOffering a happy hour and breakfast is a nice thought, but the execution wasn’t there Some of the food was spoiled (the fruit had mold) Some of the breakfast items were undercookedThe location is fantastic if you want to spend time in downtown NapaOverall, I think the place is a bit overpriced for the what you get

Josh Groves

We spent two nights here in May of 2022  It’s not as nice as it appears online, but still good value for the moneyPros:  Large rooms with high ceilings

Friendly staff  Great parking  Very quiet  2 block walk to the River PromenadeCons:  The day-to-day upkeep of the property is lacking, in some cases slightly, in other cases severely  No bar or gymBut, overall, I recommend

No longer worth the price they charge Also free breakfast is a basic Continental breakfast you would find at a Motel 6 I had stayed here after the previous ownership and it was way better

The Hampton Inn across the river is the same distance from downtown And offers you a way better breakfast rooms are also larger and pool and jacuzzi stay open later

Devon

Cute little place to stay Excellent location if visiting Napa Valley–fairly close to all restaurants and shopping Breakfast included some yogurt and granola, some baked muffins, coffee and juice

Location is on the corner therefore quite loud at nightWas looking forward to meeting Micheal with all his wonderful reviews The lady we dealt with was not as pleasant and did not say anything back when we greeted her in the morning or evening

Napa Valley hotel prices can be extremely pricey; however, this establishment gives you the best of both worlds in comparison to its competition: great pricing and location The rooms are clean, modern, and the staff is welcoming The happy hour specials are great and worth checking out

Special shout-out to JP (bartender) and Megan (front-desk manager) for providing exceptional service!

Any 4 or 5 star reviews that this property has can NOT be genuine reviews Don’t walk, RUN from this property There aren’t too many options in the area and i thought i did my due diligence in selecting a simple clean hotel with good enough reviews

I was so wrong There were live AND dead ants in the room and cigar particles and beard hair in the sink upon arrival Absolutely disgusting Management unfortunately did not feel it necessary to call me back to address my concerns If you’re going to spend $250 on a hotel room, do NOT spend it here You will regret Allow my mistake to be your warning

payton becki

The hotel was nice, what you would expect and the location was central to wine country But the 5 stars goes specifically to Sharon We checked in on Friday after a terrible day in San Francisco and she was the person you needed to see to ensure a good vacation for the entire weekend

She checked on us every time she saw us come back to the hotel and recommended places to us to ensure we had a great time If Sharon is still here the next time we come to NorCal, we will stay here just to see her again!!!!

Shan Jones

This hotel did not deliver what they promised We booked a package for a higher rate than the standard rate The package states on the website wine passes, a bottle of champagne and free breakfast

The one thing that drew us into booking was the wine passes Sometimes the wineries can get a little pricey and we figured this would be nice When we checked in we didn’t get anything so I asked the front desk before we left to get lunch and they said everything would be in our room when we came back When we arrived back later a $10 bottle of champagne was in our room and no wine passes I asked why there were no wine passes and back and fourth with the front desk lady, she kept saying the bottle of champagne was in the room Finally after explaining we didn’t care about the champagne we cared about getting everything we were promised The front desk lady explained the champagne was in the room Again I said it’s not about the champagne it’s about everything that was promised in the package is not here She finally says due to covid they don’t receive passes Okay, that’s fine Covid has been going on for TWO years why wasn’t this fixed on the website TWO years ago? It’s been one week since our stay and I’ve been going back and fourth with this hotel on honoring me the price of the standard rate since we were not promised what we booked with the package rate They have yet to give us anything The only thing they have done is change their package booking on the website and finally took out the wine passes In the package From the front desk agent not letting us speak to a manager because “she’s been doing this a long time” to the front office manager Stephanie Ramirez sending me a “ the wine passes are only a 10% discount I apologize for the miscommunication” to the Hotel GM Juan saying the passes were optional No one has given us a straight answer or compensation for the package booked Why state on your website “We promise you’ll besatisfied, or we’ll make it right That’sour commitment to you Ask us aboutThe Fairfield 100% Guarantee“ if this simply is not true?

Good location Close to restaurants and not far to Downtown NapaStaff are exceptional! We had some problems and everyone was so helpful, kind, and accommodating

Very clean Rated it a 4 because our TV didn’t work, bathroom needs some faucet handle repair, and there was no microwave Only studios have them, not regular rooms That was inconvenient and disappointing Otherwise we were very blessed

I have visited in January, 2022 when I visited Napa, CA, and loved it! The beds were soft, the room was cozy, and it was beautiful at night! Not sure if it is still there anymore, but there were beautiful “Electronic Dandelions” or something like that It was a rather nice hotel and I honestly wish I could move to Napa! Thanks guys! ❤️

Wendy B

I have stayed here twice, once with my husband in January and again with my step Daugher in MayOn my 2nd trip they had a card in my room as well as a bottle of red wine to thank me for using them againThe trip in January we were there January 2nd and most of Napa was closed and doing renovations so I highly suggest not going to Napa that first week or 2 of the new year

May the weather was still a bit chilly but everything was open so we got to enjoy the location and all the hotel has to offerThe rooms both times were clean and nice and the location is fabulous They have breakfast that they get from a little shop that is part of the same building as the hotel and will deliver pastries to your room, or give you $10 per person towards breakfast there at Sweetie PiesThey have great coffee in the room, gorgeous views from both of our stays, friendly and fast help with luggage taken to room and one day I went in and asked the man and lady behind the counter if there was anything going on locally and they gave us FREE tickets to the Blue Note for a concert that was absolutely amazingBetween the views, the friendliness of staff, and location I cant think of a better place to stay in Napa

Rosanne Lang

Perfect location! After spending your days in the vineyards, it’s a wonderful location to walk to many fabulous restaurants in the evening Room was perfect Loved the balcony and view of the Napa River and the sounds of the Napa Wine Trains

Robes and towels were luxurious Loved the option to have Sweetie Pie’s breakfast treats delivered to your room or enjoy it in the shop next door

We stayed at this place for four nights while visiting NapaThe location is good – an easy drive to the heart of town and a short walk to a couple of fast food and breakfast jointsOur room was good size, clean and on the ground floor, which was convenient

The hotel breakfast was very basic motel fare Unfortunately, another guest started every morning chain smoking and talking loudly on his phone for an hour or so right outside of our door That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but none of the staff said anything about it either

Aaron Donnell

Very satisfied with what I got for the price Tried to find an affordable place near Napa central city area, and this made it reasonable with a small drive to get there Nothing special about rooms except well-kept and nice mattress and pillows, very good sleep

Surprisingly kind and attentive front desk staff, I suspected less for the price point Morning breakfast was simple and satisfying, good scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, juices Walked to Chipotle and Marshall’s next door for goods Would do it again

Had a wonderful weekend at the Archer in Napa with my girlfriends! Rooms are so beautiful 🤩 Met with the manager Bryan and he took care of all our needs and then some Very classy thank you Bryan for your hospitalityThe roof top spa is simple but the massages were excellent

After the message we sat out at the rooftop poolThe rooftop restaurant has a cool vibe but the appetizers were not worth mentioningThe hotel is situated in the perfect location for shopping and food selection Definitely recommend this hotel !!!

We loved room 537 Not the best view, but a great one of Mayacamas- if you look past the rooftops The room was outstanding with all the details our family needed

The first interaction with the front desk was a little m e h Very robotic and precise sticking to a script I’m just waiting for the screen to populate insert your credit card This is your room -go up elevator Call if you need “No warm welcome which I love when traveling 🙂 The rest was wonderful

Michelle Halpern

We stayed 4th of July weekend 2022 Have some mixed feelings but overall very nice The room was small but very nice and comfortable

It was spotless I think they came in twice a day —once to clean and then again for turndown service they always left us a treat–Nice touch That was fabulous We also loved the location and we were allowed to check in early–very helpful after a long trip The rooftop bar had good food and people watchingService terrible The front desk was poor—at one point someone walked in and they were whispering and caddy (I think they thought we didn’t notice) caddy, unprofessional They were young and inexperienced We may stay again or try something different next year but not a bad choice

Last minute reservation, had mixed feelings from reviews This place was nice, staff was all friendly and helpful Room was clean, pool area was kept clean

I did use the hot tub briefly but seen bugs and hopped out Lol nothing major as my husband said it is outside I just don’t do bugs But I was pleasantly surprised by the property Location was great for us just on the outskirts of everything took us about 15 min to drive to Downtown Fridge and microwave in room is always great I would absolutely stay again and recommend

Craig Smith

We only spent one night there but we spent more time in the hotel then we actually did wine tasting The happy hour was killer like always and the breakfast was amazing as well Beautiful property with super warm and friendly staff

The pool was clean and warm! It’s about a mile to downtown Napa and we made the trek (in our 40’s) and had a blast in downtown Napa and just Ubered home Can’t say enough about how much we loved it There are plenty cheaper options with better views but you get what you pay for and we had a blast!

Kelly Foster

It is expensive like everything else in Napa, but we enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfast The pool area was calm and refreshing The ladies at the front desk were kind and accommodating

The one less star is all about the AC The room was 76 when we arrived,! It took awhile for it to get to a decent temp, but it was never consistent At night I (and several others out of our group of 8) woke up sweating one moment and freezing the next With 90 degree days and 50 degree nights in the summer, we should have been able to rely on our room to be more comfortable and consistent with the temperature Otherwise, great stay!

Nicely located in walking distance from the Culinary Institute, various breweries, and restaurants downtown Napa You can also board the Wine Train here (although we didn’t as we were told it’s overpriced and limits access to some of the more exotic wineries) The hotel has a nice bar, restaurant, conference facilities, and outdoor pool

The workout room is fine even for a longer stay We found the staff helpful, friendly, and professional The rooms are modern and well cleaned every day

Brent Warner

The Westin Verasa Napa is located nearby to the Oxbow Market and downtown Napa, making the location attractive for many and a much much better option than the Marriott (see my other review on reasons to avoid)The Westin offers spacious rooms, nice pool area, gym and a decent restaurant (haven’t eaten there yet — options locally are incredible)The Westin is very pricey but it’s location makes up for the difference

We’ve stayed here a number of times and it continues to deliver consistently

Kayla handled my reservation and was amazing her customer service is top notch and what I come to expect as a Lifetime Platinum/Titanium Guest of Marriott Bonvoy She was quick and helpful and extremely professional yet kind, as a loyal member I appreciate that type of service it goes a very long wayThis property is one of my favorite in Napa as far as Marriotts are concerned, the beds are extremely comfortable, the room are always clean and big and the hotel is quiet

Out side the pool and hot tub are always clean and there is often available space to hang out by the pool I always receive amazing service while down at the pool Overall the property is beautiful, I love where it is nestled but the customer service by Kayla is the reason I wrote this review Thank you, Kayla, for quickly accommodating my request!

Cute place, clean and comfortable rooms Friendly staff and service Enjoyed the small breakfast with fresh muffins

Feels safe there Adequate parking with some spots under cover Room was on street side by round about so a bit noisy, bed was on the firmer side and shower didn’t have great water pressure but it was also an ADA shower with a handle so that could have been why Would like a full length mirror in room as well Overall a great stay and within walking distance to downtown about 17 minutes

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Napa and seeing how beautiful the rooms were in the photos There was plenty of parking right out from when we got in and throughout our stay we never had an issue finding a spot When we checked in we received a bottle of wine and two chocolates as well as a taste of their house wine, which was wonderful to experience! We got a river view side room and while it didn’t look anything like the photos online, it was still very nice

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it had a cute balcony to sit out on and look at the riverThey have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, which is fantastic, however if you are in your room on the waterfront side it is quite loud Additionally the insulation doesn’t seem too good between rooms either We could actually hear our neighbors talking and even snoring at night They also blasted their music very loud but it was nice of the hotel staff to ask them to turn it downThe gym was very small, basically full if you have 3 people in it So keep that in mind if you want to work out during your stayThe staff was all very nice and quick to help with anything you needed

For the price, the amenities could be better—difficult to get a hold of the front desk from room phones and the pillows were sub par For $600 a night I was hoping for more comforts A great location and they had lovely live jazz in the evenings

Ask for your complimentary glass of wine when staying there (we preferred red over the white)

Adam Moheban

We were charged a $250 “smoking fee” We called front desk and they told us that housekeeping “smelled smoke” We spent four nights in the hotel and were refused housekeeping during our stay

After 4 days of not taking out our trash or cleaning up, I am not surprised the room developed a smell, but to jump to the conclusion that we smoked was plain nonsense We obviously did not smoke and there was no photographic evidence of ash or cigarette butts As of this writing, the front desk refuses to overturn the charges We will have to dispute the charges with our credit cardWe booked through Costco Travel I would not recommend staying here

Clean and technologically advanced rooms lead to great comfort and charmMy team stayed 3 days/nights at the R Inn and had a wonderful time Board Room was great for our meetings and with the zoom capabilities and large screen display, we were able to teleconference with ease

Sean was a very gracious host and showed great care for all of our team/needs Really quaint and lovely property that seems to attract very nice, hospitable guests Folks we ran into during the stay were regulars and couldn’t agree with us more on how convenient and upscale the accommodations are at R InnDefinitely worth checking out!

Kelly Fox

Nice setting, close to several spots to dine or drink, very nicely decorated Was mostly self service with very detailed instructions for arrival and entry to the property, making it easy to navigate to the room and the amenities Simple and at the same time, elegant

Rooms were a bit small but had everything we neededWe will stay again and will recommend for our families!

We had a great time at this little hotel It was small yet felt close enough to all the wineries Scenic views as you drive through town! Breakfast buffet was good

Could have had better selections but overall it was impressive ! Coffee could be stronger , but like I said great breakfast ! And it’s free Wish we had complimentary water like any other Marriott Overall it was clean! It was a big room and the grounds were beautiful !!! Free parking was also a nice touch !

This hotel is beautiful It was built in 2008 and it is well furnished and the size of the rooms are spacious and well equipped However, i cannot help but to comment on the freeway noise that is very bothersome especially late at night

I would like to say that after speaking with the front desk, they did their best to look for another room, unfortunately the only room available was also located facing the freeway and the noise was significant The price per night is not cheap and I would hope that the rooms facing the freeway would get a different priceOverall, a pleasant experience

What a gorgeous hotel!!! The grounds were amazing with so many amenities The pool and fire pit were better than I have seen at any other hotel The staff, especially the General Manager, Brandon, were so nice and accommodating

We had a large group so we had 2 rooms Everything was clean and well kept The rooms were very spacious I have never seen the trundle bed couch before We probably all could have shared one room because of it I hope to stay here again really soon Thank you for the great stay!!
