I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Linda at the front desk was professional, helpful and polite Checking in was fast and easy

The room was clean and cozy There was free breakfast provided and also a fitness center downstairs The fitness center wasn’t big but it was great for those who want to workout during their stay The staff at the front desk are helpful and polite Bakeries and restaurants were within walking distance Affordable price Highly recommend!

This was so nice upscale hotel Best price! The staff was exceptionally super nice The management greeted us his name is Kai, not sure if I’m spelling correctly but he went above and beyond

One of the girls ran out to help us get out of the parking space in front and direct traffic for us So nice! It’s in a great location Short walk to subway

Tiffany Mina

Enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Kai greeted us with a warm welcome upon arriving and ensured that he greeted me by name in the days to follow We were given a free continental breakfast that included coffee, muffins, toast, sausage, Eggs, and more

For the price, the room was nice and clean The only issue that I had was that we were not able to control the temperature in our room and it got pretty cold one night The subway station is less than a half mile away and we were able to ride the train to Time Square, which took about an hour…less the New York traffic

I needed to find a hotel to spend the night when local storms resulted in numerous flight cancellations at LaGuardia I needed up here at the Courtyard in Queens I was initially concerned about the location but as it turned out this is a really nice location

The facility is clean and comfortable The pricing was reasonable too I felt very welcomed and appreciated as a Marriott customerThe Bistro and lounge were Wm very nice as well as the room an rear courtyard

Marc Senatore

Rooms are very nicely designed with modern looks and nice bathroom, but the room ALWAYS was humid and smelled like a locker room The bedsheets and rug always felt slightly damp Any paper or receipts in the room would become wet also

Valet and front desk staff were great Just wish they could figure out this humid/muggy problem in the rooms Experienced this three times on three separate occasions

Ethan O’Neall

Good place Clean sheets and rooms The breakfast was not open, but still a good, quiet place to sit and work and enjoy in the morning

The building does not feel old or dated but fresh and cleanDid not need to ask the staff for anything, but I assume they were great

I put five stars for the front desk Meg and SamThe room was clean, spacious, and comfortable The room had a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge

I had room 233, which had a king size bed and showerThat specific room is very close to the elevator which was not ideal for my son and I for that peculiar trip We had to go to bed early because of having to wake up super early so I got waken up a couple of times by kids excitement in the hallway and their running Pick this room if you have a deep sleep

أحد أحد

I had forgotten my wallet in the room after checking out the honest cleaning service people turned it to the front desk and they mailed it back to me this happened to me once before, but “they couldn’t find my items”I greatly appreciate their honesty and the effort they put in to return my belongings to me

will recommend this hotel and I will come back in the future

Worst experience from the beginning to end Only stayed here one night In our first room the toilet didn’t work

Called front desk and instead of moving us to another room they sent someone to fix it The person came said it will take 30 minutes to fix and they finally gave us another room In the other room the refrigerator made a lot of noise and so did the AC/heating unit On top of that there was no hand soap in the bathroom or shower We had to leave for our event so we just got ready and left Came back to the hotel at 1230am and our bathroom light isn’t working Next morning asked for a 12pm checkout as opposed to 11am and they declined it I said even though all the trouble we already went thru and they still declined since it’s a Sunday and they don’t do delayed checkout on Sunday I told them about the bathroom light the response was did you let us know I’m like we got back at 1230am how would I let someone know he said we were at the front desk So instead of apologizing about the inconvenience it was my fault I didn’t let them know All the furniture is outdated and mattress feels like it hasn’t been changed in over 20 years Find another location this one is absolute trash

Honestly a beautiful experience! The rooms are vacation worthy!!!! I always need to talk about their beds as well & I say just perfect!! Marriott also has a full breakfast that is included with your room!!! Very delicious!! The employees here are helpful & pleasant This hotel is also surrounded by plenty of stores & restaurants I really don’t feel like checking out today but all good things must end lol!!!!!!

Raquel Prescott

Although the hotel is brand new and clean, the management team is not the most organized They can do better with their payment processes and how they communicate them to customers, especially if purchased through 3rd party companies like bookingcom

I’ve stayed at this location twice and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel’s location and cleanliness But unfortunately, due to a lack of organization and poor communication skills, I am choosing to no longer return to this hotel when I am in New York

Maria Recalde

The night staff was very professional but in the morning during our check out I let the front lady know one of the towels looked like it was full of blood, and she looked at the picture and said NOTHING, I’m not sure if she treated us differently because we used our free night but we have been using lots of Marriott hotels for years all over the US Im sure she can see that I almost used that towel with our baby thinking it was new like the rest of the towels We just wanted a simple apology to make ourselves feel better after almost using it with out baby

Breakfast, pool, gym and the room were really nice

I booked conjoining rooms for 1 night for myself and my bridal party so we could get ready for my wedding the following morning The rooms were big and clean, and the front desk staff that greeted us was amazing I received a text from a woman named Alyson shortly after checking in who asked if we needed anything

I asked her for a few more blankets and pillows and she arrived in minutes! She was so great HOWEVER, the next morning while we were getting ready, apparently the curling iron we were using set off the fire alarm?! A man, who I can only assume from his attitude was some kind of manager, came up to our room and demanded that we stop immediately As a bride with a deadline, that was impossible and I told him such He snapped back at me again and told me that we needed to pack everything up (including my wedding dress and my bridesmaid’s dresses) and we needed to move to a meeting room on the first floor I again told him that was not possible He told me if we do not stop the fire department would show up because the alarms are “new and sensitive”… which is not my problem Long story short, we found some towels and paper plates and continued to waive them in front of the alarm in the room, which eventually stopped it This is EXACTLY how I wanted to spend the morning of my wedding…My conclusion to this is yes, the rooms are beautiful and I would recommend this hotel BUT ONLY if you are not a bridal party trying to get ready for a wedding, or if you are planning on using any heat tools in general because their alarms are “new and sensitive” and you will set off the alarm and be approached by someone with a little bit of authority who thinks he can talk to you like you are child It’s amazing that he believed speaking to guests like that was appropriate If he is a manger of some sort, I wonder who he bribed for that position because his performance does not qualify him in any way Good luck to all future guests!

Incredible staff that watch out for their guests I cannot say enough about the tremendous assistance they provided me with The next time I’m in the area I know where I’m staying, at the Hampton inn & suites

You won’t be sorry you stayed here Convenient location close to so many things Easy access Restaurants nearby Shopping galore A great experience

Michael Fallon Jr

Room was clean but dated Toilet continued to run throughout the day Pantry was almost completely bare

One elevator was down and broken and the gym equipment wasn’t functioning the clock in the gym was completely dead There was plenty of parking and the area seemed nice enough Just seems like management was missing a lot of attention to details The associate who checked me in was pleasant Won’t be staying here again I stay at a lot of Hilton properties for work and this was not a good representation of the brand

The hotel suite was very nice and roomy The staff was except is only The desk staff was very helpful, friendly, and kind

The young man who took care of the public bathrooms in the morning did a great job keeping them clean The breakfast staff was very nice and kept everything stocked and clean I highly recommend this Hampton!

If in Rockville Center this is the best property to stay at if you can get a room and pay the premium price they charge to stay here Very quiet overall Beautiful center breakfast dining area with open space looking up the top of the multi floor building

Clean and large room and bathroom Very comfortable beds and pillows Breakfast was typical hotel buffet style but the waffles here are very good (unlike some other hotels in the area) Staff was super polite and accommodating They even bake fresh cookies everyday they give out at the front desk There is no pool here and we did not notice an excersize room, but didn’t ask, so check before booking if that is a need The only issue we had was our shower control handle was loose and would change temperature during ashower I mentioned it to the front desk but it was never fixed Other than that, an excellent place to stay if in the area

Monday February 28th 2022Was pleasantly surprised to find there was a restaurant on-site as we didn’t check when booking the room

Large rooms, convenient location, clean Pet friendly for a pretty stiff fee ($75 per stay) Breakfast decent for a free hotel breakfast

Staff was super nice My only complaints are the shower head is awful Water is very hard And the carpets in the pet friendly rooms are always dampish Not great to walk on All in all, good place to stay and I’ll stay again

Saniya Zahra

I stayed there for almost 2 months for two years in a row They should have welcomed me as regular guest but instead of that they showed me very much attitude Staff was very unprofessional

I always used to even tip them to clean my room but my room was never cleaned properly Also one day they randomly told me that I have to leave the hotel for playing loud music in my room They could have gave me warning but instead of that they asked me to leave!! I’ll never forget this horrible experience I had to face, staff was racist, rude & unprofessional I’m a Hampton inn regular customer but the location in garden city is the worse one, they really need to work on the hotel staff, I wasn’t living there for FREE!!!!!!

Nicholas Millington

The front desk staff was unprofessional and unfriendly My room was not cleaned for 3 days Apparently at this hotel you have to affirmatively request for your room to be cleaned no less than 24 hours in advance

First time domestically or internationally I’ve seen a hotel implement this type of policy There was a frigid draft coming into my hotel room from below the AC/heat unit I ended up booking and using a different hotel for the remainder of my stay Much better experience and only 5 minutes away

This is the first time I’ve been in a hotel where the rooms had hardwood floors instead of light carpeting The photos make the place look much brighter and decorative than it actually is It gave me a feeling as if it was a college dorm that got converted into a hotel

The room is smaller than expected, but still enough room to fight small luggage and move around It functions for resting and that was the reason for my stay, so don’t expect anything fancy from this hotel The free breakfast was surprising as it had the normal breakfast items you would expect, but it also included Chinese food, like rice porridge and steamed buns I was a big fan of the red bean buns It’s good if you need a quick place to stay near the airport or around the Flushing area

Steven Kraft

Wife and I did a weekend foodie trip to Flushing and needed an inexpensive place to spend the night This hotel fit our needs nicely Keep in mind, this is a no-frills hotel, so no on-site parking, amenities like breakfast, etc

However, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet It’s located right in the heart of flushing, so easy to walk to all the surrounding shops and restaurants! The hallway had a strong malatang smell for some reasonWhenever I’m back in Flushing, will make this our go-to hotel!

Pam’s Pretty Plants

Super clean, friendly staff, and we loved the firm mattresses a lot of people mention Our bad backs felt great all weekend! My only complaint is how thin the walls are Both nights we had very loud neighbors who were up talking and laughing until 5am and they sounded like they were in the same room as us

I’m glad they were having fun but the sleeplessness made the weekend a little less fun for us Turning the AC on helped muffle the noise a little but maybe bring ear plugs or ask if there’s a quiet floor or something The free breakfast is decent, too

I was visiting a person who stayed there to do her wedding and they staff went above and beyond to satisfy not only me but the bride Everyone was polite, respectful and eager to make the day special Although I wasn’t a guest, usually when visiting it’s a bit strenuous at other hotels

They were very nice to me both days I showed up And for the wedding it was nothing but smiling faces even under pressure

Shermaine

Overall hotel was decent, front staff was friendly, and helpful, room was small but it served the purpose for my stay, they need to update there information about dvd players in the room, there was nothing in my room, also the transportation near there was ok I had to ask for a pen, and paper which should be standard in the room, and their should be a information book of some sort to tell you what’s in the area But it’s all good thankful for apps

Stephen Dan

Be careful of front desk Hispanic male I tried to catch his attention for a good minute, but did not look up

I said hi, hello, excuse me, but I can definitely sense he was doing it on purpose The moment he decided to respond he ask me with an uncomfortable tone, “are you staying here?” Hispanic dude with fake white hair lol I would definitely book elsewhere Customer service is definitely not one of their strong suits

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Roosevelt Inn! The main thing I look for in accommodations is cleanliness, and this place did not disappoint The inn is SPOTLESS! Extremely clean and comfortable We booked a king room upstairs, and the room was a great size with a comfortable bed

The shower water was hot immediately and with nice pressure The continental breakfast is in a cute little downstairs area with a nice selection — toasted bagels, donuts, DELICIOUS muffins, coffee, OJ, fruit, etc to start the day Staff was lovely and greeted with a smile You can tell a great deal of pride goes into this establishment, and it shows Why pay $$$ to be close to the sights (Culinary Institute and FDR home and museum right down the street, plus much more) when the Roosevelt Inn is a great bang for your buck Looking forward to our return visit

Erin Hawkins

Stayed here for 4 nights, this place was better than expected Very clean, comfy bed, comfy pillows, clean bathroom, plenty of towels, and if you need anything (like the iron) the front desk is more than accommodating We were easily the youngest people there at 33/44

Quiet area, breakfast was more than enough Would definitely stay here again if I have to come back to Hyde Park

Shelley P.

Nice little hotel I was traveling alone and wanted a place that looked clean and not seedy This place fit the bill perfectly

It’s not fancy but still pretty and the room was nice There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning, more generous than most with lots of variety Good assortment of pastries, fruit and decent coffee

Comfortable and clean room, floors are well kept, and the grounds are very decorative Minor issues with my stay: bathroom sink handle was loose, new parking charge implemented (complimentary when I had made the reservation), and some communication issues I called prior to the reservation and was told breakfast was buffet style, then during check in I learned it was made to order and a separate charge

I must have missed something but this along with the new parking charge had me stressed out the night of check in Fortunately the daily parking charge was removed during check out with receipt of my email reservation

This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had We were celebrating our ten year anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was a wonderful one We had an amazing view of Central Park on a high floor that left us literally sitting in front of the window gazing and enjoying the beauty of the park

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially those celebrating a special occasion The staff was excellent, the amenities were excellent, and the rooftop restaurant (Darling) had amazing views of Central Park It was a really magical stay for us

Lovely hotel Was so welcoming to my young son for a special mommy trip and very accommodating Service was top notch which I didn’t expect given our current state of staffing shortages everywhere and based on experiences elsewhere

Rooms were very quiet and impeccably clean There is also a great cafe just steps outside the back door which was a nice bonus

Andrea

Front rooms with a spectacular view! No other option is worth it to book the hotel The other rooms are nice but really too expensive without the breathtaking Central Park view Very fresh and modern cosy look

Some rooms have very, very small closets and bathrooms 🤨 The rooftop bar/restaurant is stylish but with quite too noisy hip music talk with your friends while you are sipping the good cocktails is difficult The wonderful view is only visible for tall or non sitting persons So, if you reserve a table because of the viewtake a bar table outside Breakfast is not yet good enough for the price (50$pp plus tax plus tip)and while sitting at a table, you have no view because the windows are to highAll employees are very friendly! Special thanks to the wonderful Lady serving breakfast at the rooftop and to deep-voice-Dillon from the bar team at the ground floor 😉! ADA Rooms are good, but the entrance door is really, really heavy to open Once, when you are inside, there is an automatic door to the bathroom Why not add that helper for the front door?

My second time staying there in the past month This spot has so much potential but they do not clean the rooms properly First time there was toe nail clippings on the floor, second time there was hair in the bathroom

They promptly came and cleaned when asked the first time but this should not happen! Second time, it was such a short stay, I didn’t have the time or energy to complain

A funeral led to my family and I staying at this hotel The staff went out of their way to accommodate us on this last minute over night trip They allowed us to check in extra early and held our bags while we attended the service

Coffee and hot drinks in the lobby was a nice touch especially as it was cold and rainy A very tough weekend was made a little better by the care and empathy shown Thank you

The outside may be scary but inside the room is pretty clean and spacious I was surprised The people here are pretty friendly

It’s not perfect but for the price that they ask especially during weekdays is a steal On weekends it’s pricey but what place isn’t They have no security deposit You pay online or in person and that’s the final price No extra fees in person This has been my go to spot for the past year Great place Highly recommend especially because there’s a 24 hour drive thru McDonald’s right next store and a 7-11 down the street There’s also a KFC, Dunkin(not 24hours) and it’s right next to the highway So you could hop on it and head home or wherever you need to go Very convenient Not noisy in the rooms There’s sometimes people smoking outside or talking but that’s alot of inns Other than that I would recommend if you looking for good price and cheap food nearby Usually packed All in all it’s a 37 average

I spent 188 for one night I went back at midnight after the event I attended and packed my stuff and drove 25 hours home

It was not safe to say the least Someone overdosed in the front earlier that day DO NOT SAY HERE the top lock was broken in my room and there was several men standing outside the “inn” when I returned at midnight
