Clean, quiet and convenient location Spacious rooms with mini fridge and microwave Extended continental breakfast hours on weekends

Early check-in option with 11a check out Sofa and desk located in rooms There were cracks in the ceiling in bathroom but nothing more problematic in room There are Dove products for body and hair which was extremely delightful! Housekeeping has a presence and politely knocked on the door as a reminder that check out was in 10 minutes The breakfast was a bit interesting, surprised no potatoes There is a pancake makersorry no waffles! Cinnamon rolls were dry Eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits were hot food items There is also a pool area! Plenty of uncovered parking out front This hotel is very clean all over I highly recommend if you are in the area for business or personal travel

I would love to give this hotel an excellent review because it appeared as if the customer service was superb and the rooms were clean and smelled good I had to put a $50 deposit when I was using my debit card This was fine even though I spoke to them on the phone and they didn’t tell me anything about a deposit when using a credit card or when using cash

I was supposed to use cash to pay for the room but there was $150 deposit when using cash This is not noted on a sign anywhere and was not told to me when I made the reservation and specifically ask what is the total cost to reserve the room I paid for two days but I actually checked out early on the second day before The cleaning staff even got to my room I did not expect to get a refund for that day But I had a feeling that because the room was paid for for the entire day and the cleaning staff hadn’t even made it to my room that they were going to either use my room for their own personal use or try to sell the room to someone else I had no issue with that but my suspicions was something funny was going to happen This was May 1 that I checked out and now it is May 12 and I still have not received my $50 deposit They are holding my money hostage I have called them and they claim that they have sent it back and I have also called my bank and they say that Holiday Inn express is holding my $50 deposit still I would never use my card at this hotel again let alone even do business with them I left the room spotless and I know I did not make any damages so there was no need for them to hold my $50 deposit A matter of fact they assured me that everything was fine and they had released my $50 deposit I am highly upset because I needed that money because it wasn’t in my budget to give that to them in the first place There is some shady stuff going on there and I do feel like it was racially motivated

Stayed here 3 nights for business It is decent hotel overall besides the really hard and uncomfortable bed, but the horrible service ruined it for me I called multiple weeks ahead and asked for late checkout for my final day since I had work to do, which they agreed and told me the latest was 3pm

Great So I planned to work and leave by 3pm The night before checkout, I even called the front desk to confirm I had late checkout They told me yes, they see it on my reservation, no problem However at 11:15 the morning of checkout, I get a call in my room by Evelyn at the front desk saying I need to check out I told her I had arranged late checkout and she told me, no you did not, we don’t do that, you need to leave because we have a large party coming and we need to clean your room I told her, it was arranged ahead of time for my reservation and I even confirmed last night She replied, oh that person is new they don’t know what they’re doing Wow I told her, well I’m in the middle of work I can’t stop and I need until 3pm as I had planned to After going back and forth she agreed to 2pm, even though I needed 3pm as planned I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was none Only when I asked her name did she say okay, you can stay until 3 This after arguing with me and being extremely rude and unprofessional In all my years of staying at hotels, I’ve never ever experienced being treated like that This same person, Evelyn, was even rude at check in She wasn’t even at the front desk when I arrived and the door was locked so I couldn’t even get in the hotel I waited for a while before she finally let me in Once I did and got my room key, I asked for a cart to haul up all my stuff since I had a lot and was told they’re all occupied No concern whatsoever as I struggled to get all my stuff up People like Evelyn should not work in hospitality Oh and the kicker is when I checked out before 3pm, this large party they were kicking me out for was not even there So all that arguing and rude service… for nothing I was planning to come stay at this hotel regularly and now I’ll take my business elsewhere

This was not a comfortable stay for us It was not a nice Embassy Suites The entire hotel seemed unclean and outdated

I can’t even get into all of the details of the different issues with thatOur room smelled terrible The couch in the living room was so dirty I asked my daughter to not touch it The curtain rod from the shower was hanging down from loose screws on both ends of it, from the walls We could not even keep the shower curtain closed enough for water to not come out onto the floor And we could only shower after having maintenance come up to jimmy the faucets to get them to workThe back of the toilet tank was broken, there were stains on the bathroom floor The carpet was very dirtyAfter just feeling so uncomfortable in the hotel itself, we were at least looking forward to breakfast Got down there at 6 because we had to hit the road, and waited for a while only to be told that because it was a holiday, breakfast was not until 7 That was annoying because not only were we told 6, we were also given a piece of paper that said 6 o’clock The man sending us away actually argued with me and told me I would have been given a piece of paper upon check in that said because of the holiday it was 7 I pulled out the paper to show him, which said 6 And another couple standing and waiting with us, had actually just called the front desk and were also told 6 So we had to leave without eating and go find a gas station breakfast so we could hit the road Really just annoying and disappointing Not a fun stay

Visited MD 5 times within 3 months because I’m buying a house and, so far this is best hotel we stayed at Amazing location, Hotel is gorgeous, staff is nice, unlimited parking… but few things why I’m not giving 5 stars- 1st and most important, room cleaning service is available only every day and you HAVE TO REQUEST IT FIRST

So if you booked for 3 days or 2, your room will not be taken care of- Rooms are too close to each other Almost no privacy When you open your room, a bunch of people can see inside if they are outside in front of their rooms, on the balcony or even in the elevators which are fully transparent- The breakfast service has this lady who is so unprofessional and rude Zero customer service I went to breakfast on day 2 and it was a very nice and professional gentleman making the omelettes On day 3 it was a lady and literally everyone was complaining about her attitudeOverall, it was a good stay even if I called a week ahead and specifically asked for a baby crib in my room for our little one but it was not there Luckily we got it about an hour later after checking in That didn’t affect my review I wish I can give 45

This past weekend we stayed at the Embassy Suites at BWI We spent 36,000 points for a suite and were super disappointed When we arrived our room only had two towels and three pillows, which clearly isn’t enough

The room overall felt dated and honestly dirty The carpeting was pulling up in the common areas The shower was tiny (see photo) and there was mold around the whole base The shelf in the shower had been ripped out of the wall and never put back up, so our shampoo and soaps had to be placed on the floor (see photo) The floor of the shower was also poorly patched leaving it super rough The toilet paper holder had also been ripped from the wall and not replaced (see photo) We told the front desk, but I think they misunderstood and sent us extra soap and toilet paper The staff was struggling due to the hotel being booked and them being stretched thin The evening reception was poor We were limited to three drink options and poor bar snacks There were only two staff members, so the drink line backed up to the lobby Again, we have no complaints with the staff, there just weren’t enough of them Then for breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the crowds There was only one person bring out food, which left the counters a mess and everything constantly empty The man was trying so hard to keep up and he was so kind, but in a fully booked hotel, one person is not enough for this task The parking lot was dark and there were hardly any open spots We came across a car (not far from our own) with a smashed window and all the tires missing (see photo) There were no cameras or security around the parking lot, which was super alarming Additionally, this was my first stay I have had since achieving Hilton honors diamonds status and nothing was mentioned or provided regarding my status during my stay

The only reason that I gave this two stars rather than one because of the staff is really nice But this hotel has seen its better Days The rooms smells molded, it may be the carpet

It was difficult for me to sleep because of the smell I had a headache for the 2 nights that I stayed there My coworkers stated the same thingNormally hotel lobbies are nice and updated Not this one, so you know what you are going to get when you get to your room Even the wallpaper has scratches and dirt on it Horrible!!! Do not stay here unless you live lesser than this!

Gavin GUARDMAN

We booked in to a “suite” which is putting it very modestly The only upgrade was a bit more floor room It was on the fifth floor

There was peeling paint and wallpaper across most of the walls The toilet would not flush and ended up clogging immediately When going to the front desk, clerk was on a smoke break and had to call maintenance personally who was just not at work What kind of Hilton has no maintenance staff? We had to plunge the toilet ourselves Subsequently another person in my party tried to shower and the bath tub backed up When going to plunge to it to maybe try and fix it, black pieces came out of the drain God only knows what those were So we asked to move which they obliged The room the system said was available was not It was filthy and torn apart and smelt like some one had died in it from the hallway Back down to the desk we went They finally seemed to pull enough sense together to get us into a room seeing as how it’s approaching midnight and we’d be lucky if there was any more available The consolation was free ice cream and a changed rate The rate going from 135 to 99 a night In my opinion this place was comparable to a motel 6 which cost 30 dollars a night I probably would have slept better there I like a stiffer bed but I left with back pain The ac wasn’t working properly either as I dropped it to 66 degrees and the ambient temp stayed around 71 Damp and dingy The lobby bathroom stall is falling apart The pool was nice enough with a broken gate The entirety of the hotel comes from a time forgotten which was kinda cool for two minutes until you see how nasty it actually is I guess if I was as drugged as hunter s Thompson in fear and loathing this place would be marvelous But it is indeed a dumpster fire If you have live anywhere close to better than this hotel is not for you

Before a long day of travel, I had booked a room at this hotel for over $200 in hopes of rest before a 7 hour drive the next day I arrived to a chaotic place with people having cookouts and throwing baseballs in the parking lot There was one person working on an incredibly busy night

I tried to go to sleep just before 9pm to no avail There was yelling, screaming, and door slamming I contacted the front desk They sent “security” up to quell the ruckus to no avail The next time I called the lady said she’d have them evicted, but still nothing I called the front desk 8 times over the course of 3 hours and as I write this the noise is still as loud as it was at 9pm This is behavior I expect paying $60 at a Motel 6, but this is a Hilton property charging almost 4 times that amount Stay away from this place if you actually want to sleep

Oh what a coincidence looking at these reviews When my husband and I were told by the front desk female manager that we were the only guests that complained about roaches at this hotel This Comfort Inn is infested with roaches

This is unsanitary and if the bugs are in one room then they are in the entire hotel My Valentine’s was ruin due to the poor condition of this hotel We use to love staying in the jacuzzi but not after last night We had issues here and there But nothing like our last visit and as we were celebrating a special day We’ll never reserve another room at this location again When my husband checked in he noticed a bug as the manager offer to change the room However he didn’t think anything of it because it was only one as he was sanitizing the room But it wasn’t until I arrived that more bugs started coming out I noticed one on the floor and around the jacuzzi area But once we were comfortable within celebrating Valentine’s Day we turned the lights off and they began coming out more and crawling around It was to late to reserve a room at one of the surrounding hotel because everyone were booked up Therefore we had to sleep with all the lights on in the room The manager don’t have to respond to my review because after already being lied to there’s no else that can be said I would appreciate if someone from Corporate would follow up on this matter

The hotel is in need of a deep cleaning It was dusty and visibly dirty base boards, windows etc The bed was worn and the pillows are like small bags of rocks

Super uncomfortable stay Staff wasn’t to friendly and hardly said helloWe’ve stayed here before and each stay has gotten worse The bar tender was on her phone checking out social media while we were trying to get drinks We will not stay again I certainly do not recommend this hotel, there are other options in this area These were my pillows in my picture I literally folded them in half When I asked for new ones, they lady at the front desk was totally annoyed with me They did deliver 2 new pillows that weren’t much better and they said they could only replace 2, so my husband had to tough it out

My first visit to this hotel will be my last I had a bad feeling about this place upon arrival The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful, but the overall experience was terrible

I reserved two rooms and requested either adjoining rooms or rooms next to each other (for me, my daughter(s), and her friends who were celebrating her birthday) They allegedly accommodated my request, however, when my children and I went into one of the rooms, it was already occupied We had to scramble back out of the room as not to disturb the occupant Unfortunately, the only other available room was two floors away from my girls in the second room That didn’t work for us, so we wound up leaving and checking into a nearby hotel I understand an honest mistake, but it was late and we’d had a long day We were ready to hit the showers and go to bed Having to find another hotel after 11P was very inconvenient and even more tiring Also, IDK if the guest in the room we went into was a hard sleeper or what because they didn’t budge when we barged into the room I asked the front desk attendant to check on them I hope they did!

Excellent hotel and great rates especially for Marriot Envoy point redemption I have stayed there on numerous occasions The rooms are well kept and very clean

Jeff at the front desk last night, as well as both ladies at the desk for checkout this morning, were so friendly and kind! Cute outside patio with string lights, modern and beautiful decor in lobby and my room was perfect Bathroom and kitchenette in room was fully stocked with everything we needed Dishes, toiletries, the works! Clean SAFE and very comfortable stay

Will definitely be coming back in the future!

The hotel and room itself were fine There were some spots where it seemed a bit dirty, but overall, it was a fine room For being an airport hotel it is in a pretty quiet location

Would not likely stay here again though, unless there were no other options The staff was not friendly at all When we first got there, it was a little before check-in, which usually isn’t an issue with other places we’ve stayed, and the guy kind of laughed and told us absolutely not until 3pm (it wasn’t long before then) When we came back, he wasn’t very nice again The mattresses were pretty hard and the TV reception would freeze constantlyWe left a shirt by mistake in the closet and when we returned to see if it was turned in, the lady working there immediately said they didn’t have anything, but after pressing her a bit, suddenly four shirts turned up (thought they didn’t have anything?) None of the four were what we left and we really have no hope in them miraculously finding it or getting it back for free if it does turn up Compared to other hotels in the area that are the same price, they don’t have breakfast includedAfter our first night in the area, we did switch hotels, but based on the service alone, we won’t likely be back

TLDR – Great place to stay!Although we only stayed one night we feel the hotel was very accommodating We wanted a place to stay so we could get an early trip to the airport We got a great price to keep our vehicle for a couple days until we returned

Jackie, at the front desk, was extremely courteous and helpful to us The trip to and from the airport in ‘the cookie van’ was prompt and courteous The room was clean and modern The food we ordered from the restaurant in the evening was delicious and the service was greatsame with breakfast in the morning The cookies were a nice touch We’ll stay there again the next time we fly out of BWI

Joseph Elkins

The front desk staff sit “too busy” on their personal phones and lie to people by saying that they don’t have water bottles for guests that pay hundreds of dollars for poor quality beds in rooms with very loud air conditioners and doors/walls through which you can hear every tone some one flushes or is talking Disrespectful staff 24/7 available to charge you $3/20oz water bottle The only great aspect of this experience was the wonderful daytime shuttle driver who is extremely kind and professional

The hotel smelled like gas Spoke with rude Kyle at the front desk about it He stated management was aware as this has been going on for weeks and they were not going to do anything about it

He brushed me off to speak with the next guest that walked up This is very dangerous for the guest and employees to be inThe next day (Sunday) I’m coming out of the bathroom naked and housing keeping is entering my room at 10am I went to the front desk and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager (did not want to provide his name to me) explained to him what happened and why are they entering my room at 10am if check out is not until 12pm He confirmed check out was at 12 and stated house keeping is short staffed I told him there was not an excuse as to why they were entering my room so early He apologized and asked if I wanted coffee or a cookie Like why would I want coffee or a cookie when I was just violated by entering a room we paid forOverall the room was nice! Doubletree needs to do better with their staff

This is a hotel that lives up to the Marriott good name It wasn’t brand new but it was very clean The breakfast was acceptable, and it’s nice to see hotels serving breakfasts again after a long hiatus due to the pandemic

The front desk was friendly The fitness room was clean and had some very nice drinking water Overall I would recommend this hotel

Casie Sulzle [Carlson]

There were always staff cleaning, and it felt like the whole hotel was clean Our floor even got shampooed during our stay, it was comforting that they cleaned oftenThe rooms were definitely outdated

The carpet under our chair was ripped up, the walls needed new paint, and our tub drained very slowly But, it seemed very clean and the bed was comfy!Breakfast was great! Shout-out to the chef because she came and greeted guests and kept everything stockedPool was a huge plus, as were the kind staff who recognized us in the lobby

Naomi Reinbold

I don’t feel like the pictures represented the hotel to date For the price it isn’t horrible but the best part of the room was the bathroom Our air-conditioner sounded like it was going to break off the wall, our TV was broken, when we let them know about it they sent new batteries for the remote, they never even came to the room to check it out

The pool was empty and being fixed We weren’t going swimming anyways but for people who have kids this may have ended badly I was just disappointed in the overall experience Hotels cost money and to have it be an experience where I was ready to leave at 1:30 am and continue my drive home it warranted a detailed review I will definitely not stay here again

It’s a decent and affordable hotel, not the caliber that would be my first preference however Rooms were clean, staff was professional Ashanti was exceptional! Our couches had stains, no big deal

They accommodated us when our AC unit was broken Continental breakfast, beautiful lobby Why three stars? Called our last night to simply request if it was possible for a late checkout Carl, the night attendant responds, “No” and after a brief silence says “no, no, no we are already booked, no” as though I was being scolded and he was aggravated about receiving the same request from other guests Poor customer service and soft skills When I was asked to sign a contract at check-in promising no parties and loud music and given a parking permit stating take all valuables out the car, that told me all I needed to know about the environment, the people that stay there and what staff has to deal with Nevertheless, that doesn’t exonerate staff from treating guests like second class nuances Do better Carl

Michelle

Long but thorough!…Staff: EXCELLENT WonderfulCustomer Service Honestly best staff experience I’ve ever had…and I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, some very high end

They go above and beyond, even for my kids! So friendly!Breakfast: FABULOUS spread Had sausage, was only lacking bacon 😂 tons of choices and on the go options too Not skimping with generics, either EGGS MADE WITH CHEESE…Need I say more?!Room: No complaints about cleanliness; AC DEF WORKS! 😉 Housekeeping is nice, helpful and efficient when needed Comfy bed and pillows! And of course, the suite factor with a sectioned off living space + kitchenette is clutchPool & hot tub: Fine, does the trick Could use more seating and keeping up with stock of available “pooltowels” on a shelving unit, but that’s ok Can get loud, but that’s to be expected if an indoor poolFree (soft) chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, GOOD COFFEE always hot and available, easy parking… what else can I say?PS “The Green Turtle Bar & Grill” is an easy, short walk and fantastic food! Menu and food quality much better than any typical sports bar!

Deborah Sanchez

So my family and I needed a 2 night stay the price was more than I’d like but it was a weekend so 340 is about average The room was accommodating but there were plenty of noticeable stains on the mattresses and sheets

There is a complimentary breakfast but the Waffles were all burnt and stuck together in the plastic The milk was going bad because it was being held at a warmer temp than it should’ve been There was visible mold in the bathroom and due to lack of staff, we couldn’t get an extra blanket or pillow until the morning Our room had a pullout sofa with no dressings Not the worst hotel experience but Def could use some improvements The staff that was there was pleasant at check in and during the interim The manager did make a point to come up to check the toilet which wasn’t flushing so that was a plus I’d come back for the sake of convenience

This is my favorite hotel! Love the fact that it’s across the street from Carabbas and close to Target Staff is so friendly Beds are so comfy and like the 4 smaller pillows

My sister in law and I have been best friends since high school and we love to come every month or so to unwind and catch up The hotel never disappoints! And thanks again to the maintenance man who stopped and showed me how to use the ice machine He didn’t have to do that and on a hot day, Dorothy and I sure did appreciate it!

Checking in was a breeze and employees were very amicable King bedroom was nice and clean although the carpet could use an update I appreciate that the self-parking and breakfast buffet is included in the rate

Close to a number of shopping centers and highways so easy to grab a bite, buy any necessities, or make my way to points east or west

Outdated rooms, mildew and cigarette smell throughout the entire hotelnot to mention limited response from hotel staff!!How disappointing this property ended up being compared to the reviews and photos

Upon check-in I was greeted with a somewhat lackadaisical attitude by hotel staff Never was I asked what type of room would I like based on my preferences already on fileOnce the entering the room you immediately notice the wear and tear on walls, furniture, and carpet However the worst part would be the odor!! Stale cigarettes and perfume mixed together with dampnessThis had to be the worst experience I’ve had in a long timeI’ll admit the complimentary breakfast was good Staff kept all items refreshed and cleanHotel location was excellentnestled amongst routes 50, 301, 197, as well as MLK HighwayAll in all I’ll more than likely never return to the this property simply because of the lack of communication and willingness to resolve guest comfortably issues

Overall, the hotel was fine but below standard for what I expect from a Marriott The pool is still closed “due to COVID” There is no indication of this anywhere and the lights in the pool house are on, resulting in very disappointed children

Our air conditioning did not work and our room did not lock There were also ants in our room and our shower head dripped nonstop Breakfast was great with a ton of variety and apart from the ants, the room was super clean and the beds were comfy

Booked a room here before an early flight Good location near Arundel Mills Mall and Live Casino but only 12 min from long term parking They have a shuttle if needed

They upgraded our room, which was nice; however, we requested feather-free through their website when booking and had feather pillows in the room, not foam We even asked at the desk at check in and they said the room would have both feather and non feather pillows It did not

Nice hotel and has a short commute to grocery stories like Walmart and Giant Very close to the Arundel Mills if you want to go a do some shopping and 13 minutes away from base The casino is nearby as well as many restaurants and fast food places if you are hungry

The staff is friendly and are prompt if you have an issue with anything They offer free laundry with detergent at an expense unless you bring your own I came here before the previous hotel I stayed in that was dirty and had mold I am recommending this to others!

First the goodThey had last minute availability My flight was delayed 4 hrs, I called the hotel before my flight took off and let them know we would be arriving at 1a and asked if they could setup the crib before we arrived

They did this and also left us extra bedding and blankets The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful  They provide a free 24/7 shuttle to/from BWI and Jack, the shuttle driver, was excellent Our room AC worked well in the summer heat and the bed and bedding were comfortable I absolutely LOVE their soft down pillows Breakfast options were very limited but I did enjoy the oatmeal (I was able to add butter, coconut flakes, shaved nuts and cinnamon) and coffeeThe badIts definitely the most rundown Hyatt Place I have been to Its an older building and the furnishings are very worn, dead bug in the light above the sink, moldy shower tile, carpets and furniture stained, etc  No outlets at the desk and the outlets by the TV near the desk didn’t work The outlet next to the bed was difficult to get to The blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the whole window so light poured in and woke me up at 7am

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Linthicum MD a few weeks ago and the staff was exceptionally kind The young woman at the reception desk with the long hair and big glasses is an asset to the hotel It was very busy and the rooms were not ready but she handled everything with patience and kindness

The room was very nice and clean and the pillows are great! I will definitely stay there again!

I wish zero stars was an option because 1 star is too many The hotel stunk and smelled liked pot It was dirty and in disrepair

My daughter was threatened by another guest because she thought my daughter was “stalking her luggage cart” when in reality, my daughter was just trying to get the one and only other cart in the entire hotel which just happened to be down the hall past the threatening guest The carpet in our room was stained, the enamel in our tub was chipped, the sink did not drain, and everything looked like it was falling apart We booked for 4 guests and the room had glasses and towels for 2 guests Also the towels were awful They were old and worn out We tried to buy bottled water in the “shop” and we were told to go to 7-11 We paid over $200 for one night I feel like if the hotel doesn’t provide a reasonable representation of what they claim to offer they should have to refund your money since we can’t get a refund if we cancel too late Fair is fair Save your money and stay somewhere else

I stayed here for over a month while I was waiting to move into my house My room was clean, the breakfast employee was incredibly pleasant, and there was plenty of storage However, when I checked out, I accidentally left an expensive Vitamix blender in the room and the hotel couldn’t have been less helpful or interested in returning it to me

I immediately called, provided my room number, and asked for housekeeping to retrieve it They said they’d check and call me back, but I didn’t get a return call After calling again, multiple times, they finally told me it was gone and there was nothing they could do

Lavern Morris

I have been there for almost 2 weeks and am very pleased with the service My suite is spacious and modern I love how the cook top has one large burner and one small, unlike other hotels with 2 same size

The windows are large so the room is bright The gym is way better than many other marriott gyms No coins needed in the laundry room, credit card is fine Special thanks to the front desk staff, especially Shantelle who was so pleasant and helpful at check-in, and Robert who is so patient, courteous and helpful He is one of the best front desk team members I have had anywhere, and I’m an ambassador elite so I have seen a lot

Katie Ray

Pros: The staff was all very warm and friendly The hotel was clean and it was in a convenient location with ample parking Breakfast was included – nothing fancy, but it wasn’t bad either

It may sound silly, but I really liked the water in the lobbyCons: That mattress is one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were lumpy By the end of the week my back was aching
