I visited the Bradley house with my parents and we had a wonderful experience The hosts were lovely – very accommodating and helpful The house has many details to it and is super clean

We had a peaceful night and a delicious breakfast If we will travel through Folsom again, we would most certainly stay at the Bradley House again and would very much look forward to it

My wife and I recently stayed at The Bradley House A few months ago, we had to sell our home to save our business One of the things my wife misses most about our old digs is she doesn’t have a bathtub to soak in anymore

For her Christmas present, I booked a room here so we could have a night away and she could soak We got the King room I think my wife took three or four baths between Friday night and Saturday morning Amazing I took one as wellOn Friday afternoon and evening, we strolled the Historic District, had cocktails at one establishment and dinner at another This location is so great Great restaurants and wine bars in the areaWe came back at night to relax in the house in the multiple cozy vignettes I took my glass of whiskey from couch to couch and listened to the soft music that was playing for us while my wife soaked We watched the sunset from our deck overlooking the canyon where the American River flows out of Folsom Lake and empties into Lake NatomaThe bed was super comfortable We watched some Netflix before crashing super early in the evening Slept like babiesIn the morning, Mike and Olivia served breakfast for us at 8:00 Bacon, cheesy eggs, potatoes, orange juice, coffee, and tea Delicious My wife invited them to sit with us and chat and we talked for a long time What wonderful, beautiful hosts What a great family and a great business We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend itWe will be back for sure!

I am considering a move to the area and choose the Bradly House because of the location and charm of the house The rooms have soft bedding on comfortable beds Every detail is carefully and creatively attended to

The food is beautiful and taste as good as it looks, fresh and healthy Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are delightful I can’t thank Olivia and Mike enough for their hospitality It was hard to leave and I look forward to my return!

Place was awesome Service and hotel employees were great We had a suite from a friday-sun

2 adults 2 kids(35 and 15 year olds) They let us know no one was below or next to our room so noise level didn’t have to be as quiet They were very helpful The room was clean We were pleasantly surprised that numerous places to eat were on the property(however they close very early) Lots of shopping nearby as well I will definitely stay here again

Stayed here for two weeks while attending training The good: pretty much everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, shopping and a multi-use trail), full kitchen with dishwasher, and free washers and dryers The not so good: it is dated but functional, with the kitchens it can get a little noisy if your neighbor decides to cook up a late night meal

While most of the staff was friendly, I do have to say the guy at the front desk I picked up breakfast from twice is probably the most surly hotel employee I’ve ever come across If you’re that miserable that can’t say good morning to a guest or thank you when they hand you a tip for the breakfast you really need to rethink your career status I guess it shows how shallow the hiring pool is right now

I stayed at this hotel on June 24 and 25th 2022 It was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I can tell you by far one of the best experiences in Folsom! I have stayed at other hotels in the Sacramento area and at this point will choose no other… Even if it means a longer commute into the Folsom Area! The cleanliness, staff, and amenities are unmatched And for the price it is an exceptional stay! Thank you Lord for landing for providing me up with amazing hospitality and service

I love this hotel! The location is awesome! Its within walking distance to the river if you want to take a dip or paddle board Its also a 2 minute walk to the heart of historic Folsom which is a great area for food and drinks So if you want to get a bit of a buzz at the local watering hole(s) and not worry about taxis or driving then this hotel is perfect! The rooms are basic, clean, and quiet

The ceiling and walls are a bit thin and I did get woken up by some thunder foot person walking around like a caged tiger but its generally quiet The bathroom doesn’t have a fan so bring some matchesThere is a bar that has food inside the premises but it closes pretty early I read some of the bad reviews and I get it people love to complain but I have traveled the world and spent some nights in a few truly terrible places none of which come remotely close to this older hotel! I highly recommend this place!

We bicycled from Sacramento to Folsom and stayed at Lake Natoma Inn for two nights All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful The room was comfortable and clean

They even allowed us to keep our bikes in the room We had dinner at their restaurant and it very good and filling In fact, we had leftovers that we stored in the room’s refrigerator The location is accessible to the old town We visited the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park that is just a short walk from the hotel The park is a must see with very informative docents

My Card Art

I travel a lot and one of my favorite hotels, without having to spend an arm and a leg in this town, is this hotel Clean rooms and since I am an avid swimmer, the pool is a must for me The staff here have always been so nice to me

Big smiles and friendly greetings I like the location here as well, because when I rent a car, I can access a lot of places and still be close to this hotel Also, plenty of food places around without having to go very far I would recommend this place for sure 🙂

Stayed at this hotel for the night The room was clean and cozy Large bed and sofa from which to watch TV, also in the room was a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning and telephone

But when i arrived 10 minutes before the end of breakfast, they closed the refrigerator with yogurt and started cleaning up, so we had to have breakfast elsewhere

Kelly J

I booked a room through Chase rewards, and due to my 3 year old spiking a high fever and a baseball tournament being canceled in Rocklin, CA, we were trying to rebook for the following weekend Not even necessarily cancel and they are unwilling to help or change the booking $180 (overpriced) down the drain

My family and friends and whoever reads this, please do not support these inconsiderate people who do not know how to efficiently run a business (or maybe they do because they got a whole $180) but we will not be returning or giving any business to ANY comfort inns Go somewhere else, you’ll be better off I even called the hotel and they were not helpful and even gave a “I don’t care” type attitude/tone over the phone

Hospitality doesn’t exist at this hotel Those working the front desk are rude and condescending I didn’t feel at all welcomed

Bugs were flying around the room Not sure how they got in, I was on the top floor And the beds are the worst! I tossed and turned all night The bed was stiff, and yet lumpy Did they find these mattresses on the street? Marriott is known for their comfy beds Not this location! Breakfast was disappointing and lackluster AC was super loud Indoor pool was freezing, had a problem with billing, and again was greeted with a nasty attitude from the front desk staff when attempting to resolve This hotel did not at all live up to my expectations of Marriott Horrible experience Never again

Danielle Graham

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Although I only stayed for one night, I really wished the suites would have a stovetop and cookery equipment in case someone doesn’t want to go out to eat Did took a peek at the breakfast and it actually look pretty good for hotel buffet style Nonetheless, this hotel is friendly, comfortable and affordable

Will definitely make this location my getaway hotel from on!! 😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍

This location was perfect for my stayWe went for a quick weekend away in Sacramento This hotel is minutes away from food and the metro line is on the other side of the free way

I was concerned that there would be a lot of noise at night since the hotel is right next to the free way However once inside you could not hear any noise from outside! The complimentary breakfast was amazing! And the staff are super friendly and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend a stay here!

Gregory Janssen

The staff is friendly, helpful, and competent My room was clean with a great mattress The common areas are kept very clean and neat

This team is clearly very well trained and adopts a consistent and unique culture I spent 2 nights on business and have a pretty high status with Marriott, so I have a pretty good perspective The associates are super friendly, on point and focused on the guest experience

My room was exceptionally clean and buttoned up – I also appreciated the upgrade!Management team is solid and attentive

Brent Surman

Lots to choose from in this area so I thought I’d try a new one First time here and I spend a lot of time in Marriott properties Room smelled like sour milk

I always use the stairs and each floor had it’s own unique odor sort of like a cleaning rag that has been used a bit too long Parking is insufficient if you arrive late The food court staff is super friendly and while you have to pay, it’s much better than the reheated frozen stuff most places are dishing out since Covid Very convenient to freeway and dining is a short walk

First off, let me preface this review by saying the staff that I encountered were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with The room was clean and well stocked What I love the most is the hot showers in the morning

Usually, less accommodating hotels skimp on items like the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap I can’t remember the brand of toiletries but it was amazing, smelled amazing, and made me happy in the morning Big thumbs up! Breakfast was served as described My only wish is that they offered more vegan options I had to use the “business center” which was a computer by the front desk Luckily every time I had to use it, there was no one there And big plus, they let me print for free Some places charge which is super irritating The reason for the three stars is that I had to extend my stay which carried over through the weekend The rate that was charged to my card was agreed to and it was a 30% increase to the normal weed day rate Then early Sunday morning I get a call from the front desk which stated that my card was declined I explained the situation and they said “well that charge was incorrect and you slept there so now you have to pay” I run to the bank and take care of the balance What else was I supposed to do? When it was all said and done the weekend rate was 40% more than what was originally charged This may not be a big deal to some but we were staying there a few days as we had just gotten evicted I know its a bit too pricey, but I wanted to maintain some normalcy for the children and the location was in between our old home and the new storage facility Anyways, blah blah blah, sob story, I know just wanted to throw that tidbit of info in there as to why this 40% increase was a HUGE deal The stay was lovely, the overnight staff were great! They gave me coupons for restaurants nearby I can’t remember the lovely lady at the front desk She was blonde and we swapped stories about our husbands, gas prices, and the heat She was great and the other tall young man who wants to be a firefighter, he was super nice too! So long story short make sure to confirm the rates before they charge your card because they will charge you more without even discussing it with you first I think its wrong for the customer to be penalized for their accounting error especially for recently displaced families on a budget

$12 parking fee? For what? You’re a side of the road hotel with small rooms and a dated motif (haven’t seen a Fairfield with this color scheme and decor in years) A 22″ LCD tv? What am I supposed to do with that unless I’m sitting 2ft from the screen? And on top of all that, there is no onsite fitness center The Courtyard they share the parking lot with allows you to use theirs

I’ve seen even the most budget motel attempt to offer an area for fitness I get you’re near a water park and a short drive to shops and restaurants, but nothing so unique as to warrant an unadvertised parking fee

This is not a bad place to stay at all The rooms are only cleaned if you stay 5 or more days because of Covid but you can request sheets and towelsThey took 5 weeks to decide to remove the taxes from my charges because I was traveling on government business which was a real difficult problem

The rooms are nice, parking is free, the morning breakfast is 1 star, the prices of the ice cream sandwiches are ridiculous

raymond odele

Initially was so excited about my stay here, and all the receptionists were nice My rating was going to be a 5 star However I noticed the toilet bowl was never cleaned for the first 2 days, first time I’ve been to a hotel and cleaning isn’t thorough

Secondly, my soap cannister was empty on arrival, and thirdly, my room was not cleaned at all on the third day of my stay (even if I left as early as 8:30am and returned by 9:30pm) Who pays $200 a night to come back to an unattended room? This isn’t a malicious review, the hotel is great and is worth the google rating of 43 stars here, I do however feel there is some complacency creeping into their service accountability I never received a call from any manager, and when I tried calling to complain I was being tossed around I sense lack of accountability around I hope they learn and I hope anyone reading doesn’t have such an experience, because even a 2-star hotel should not have service accountability like that

Had a 2 night stay here in a2 bedroom suite The suite was very comfortable and the bedrooms and attached bathrooms were roomy They actual serve a real hot breakfast with a scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home fried potatoes

If you’re not into a big breakfast they also have a nice selection of cereal and yogurtThe 2 issues I had with the facility was the parking fee – it’s in an area with lots of places to eat and they don’t charge for parking We could have just parked on the other side of the median and avoided the fee The second issue was in the 3 days and 2 nights we were there nobody vacuumed the staircases with had all kinds of dirt and crumbled food items on themOverall a nice place to stay and one of few places that has 2 bedroom suites I’d stay there again if I was in the area

Bill Jamaca

We spent over a month at this site while undergoing home renovations It was a convenient location and priced at marketThe facility is a bit tired and in need of updating

The rooms are fine, but just Due to “staffing” rooms were serviced weekly or upon scheduled request Sometimes availability was days out Pool closed for maintenanceThe bright spot was the staff Friendly, responsive, and professionalOH The wifi was very good too

Rich Bromberg

Great location, friendly and helpful staff Hotel is clean, lobby area is modern But…Hotel rooms are very small and dated, which is obvious from the photos so you should be ready for that

The one bedroom suites are too small for a queen size bed – almost impossible to walk around the bed Better off getting the studio since it has the same square footage Another issue are the lights surrounding the property – very large, and light up the rooms at night Finally, the breakfasts are all pre-made, wrapped and in a steamer, so you get soggy, egg McMuffin style food Not much selection

The A/C worked great, which is important in Folsom in July On the third floor, it was very quiet, even on the weekend The interior is somewhat dated, but they nailed the important parts (clean, quiet, comfortable)

Clean hotel but definitely in need of a refresh Furniture in the public areas is pretty beat up and not very clean Super slow elevator so we took the stairs all the time

Decent pillows and mattresses, very small TV’s Nice quiet AC units The breakfast was quite a let down Very limited choices The scrambled eggs looked like they were ground in a food processor after they were cooked and very bland Some of the worst coffee ever Pool was closed which they did not mention when I placed the reservation Very nice helpful staff though Close to many restaurants and shops

Not the best stay at all Our athletic team was staying at this hotel and all of our keys failed to work 5 minutes after we received them from the front desk After being reprogrammed, 2 hours later, and they didn’t work again

Very disappointing The pool complex is also closed until May 31st Breakfast was actually better than expected, fresh waffles and more options than usual Overall not the best stay though, and, for the money, you can find much better

The staff is friendly, helpful, and competent My room was clean with a great mattress The common areas are kept very clean and neat

Getting on Hwy 50 is easy from its location There are restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies nearby It’s easy to get to Downtown Sacramento and Historic Folsom, including a light rail line to both nearby
