The staff was very friendly and helpful It was also very quiet which was nice The room was definitely a bit dated though

The bathroom door also wouldn’t close because it was stuck on the floor I’m not sure if they hung it too low or why it did that I loved how instead of the bland scrambled eggs you get at every other hotel they had fried eggs that actually had some flavor

4 years ago we came from Virginia to bring our daughter to college and stayed here Throughout those four years we returned many times every year to watch her play her sport and every time we came, we stayed here Every single time we were greeted with smiling faces from the courteous employees

The rooms have always been clean and the breakfast was always delicious Our daughter is graduating this weekend so it may be a while before we return, but I promise when we come back to New York we will be staying here Thanks for taking such good care of us over the years

Brett

Solid option in western Yonkers with friendly staff and good, on-site management Best overall of the 3 hotels in this office park, imho Could use a little updating overall but clean and everything in working condition for the most part (shower head)

Breakfast served at 6a every day, windows open and fellow guests have been reasonably quiet & respectful in my experience, over multiple visits Slightly nicer rooms at the Courtyard across the street but this place wins on service

Customer service has been AMAZING during AND after our stay!! They were very friendly when we were there, and have gone above and beyond in helping us get a couple of things back that we left behind!! They first called us about an hour after we departed to let us know we had left a bag on the sidewalk Not sure many hotels would do that! Then after getting back home, we realized my daughter had left her special blanket she has had since birth I immediately called the hotel and spoke with Ellie

She was the absolute SWEETEST thing and VERY helpful!! She told me how to get online and have UPS scheduled to pick it up from there and shipped to me; and she assured me she would make sure the prepaid shipping label was printed and confirm that UPS picks it up Again, ABOVE AND BEYOND!! We are more than grateful!!

The only positive thing I can say is the bed is comfortable The room smelled like mold it and it was hit in the rooms and hallways We got there at 730 and asked for our AAA discount we were told NO that the manager said no discounts when it’s late because customers will pay the full price if we are looking for a room that late and yes the front desk lady told me that

She told me to ask for the manager in the morning Manager wasn’t there left my number and of course no one ever called The key didn’t work had to get a new one and rooms need to be updated We also were not told that breakfast was offered or did we see it anywhere Definitely not worth $210 that we paid

Matt from the front desk was absolutely amazing My girlfriend had not slept in some time and was stranded at LGA due to flight delays He ensured the room was made up early so she could check in early and sleep

As well, he was incredibly understanding, made sure to check in with her, and provide bottled water when she arrived There was an issue with people smoking in the hotel which he handled professionally and efficiently The rooms were nice and at a reasonable price I would highly recommend this hotel The customer service was phenomenal and it was overall a great experience

Customer service was good, friendly, helpful

thank you! Breakfast was nice, our 2 queen bed studio was a nice, enjoyable space for the weekend everything was clean if I had to complain about anything, it would be that a few minor upkeep repairs were needed in the bathroom the towel hook falls out of the wall, so you cannot hang a towel on it, the shower curtain was missing a hook and the wallpaper was peeling a few inches in the bathroom Again, to me, just a few minor repairs, the room and hotel were still clean and those repairs would not keep me from returning or leaving a negative review Thank you Hampton Inn for a lovely weekend for my son’s graduation

Diane S.

I love this hotel! The location is great, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean and well cared for There always seems to be coffee available and the self-serve breakfast has many options I just arrived home from a trip and when I checked my invoice, there was a small error, I called and they were very happy to correct it right away – it was a cheerful and helpful conversation

Honestly can we give this location the 5 stars it deserves Me and my husband spend a whole week here to see how we liked the environment, if this would maybe become something more then just a weekly stay here and there It was amazing, the staff when you walk in, the management, to the cleaning ladies

You all are running a five star hotel We went to Royal Regency last night to check it out and had the worse experience that we booked this hotel immediately for the next day because it was just not the same environment at all I will highly recommend this to all my friends and family, also to business partners for their stays Keep up the amazing work! The hospitality in this hotel is the upmost amazing! If you see this hotel BOOK IT don’t wait! I promise you it’ll be the best experience Laundry, don’t worry about that, they have machines downstairs for only $250!!! You cannot beat that anywhere This is a home away from home

Langston Martin

The best part of my Experience was the young lady working the front desk with the Red glasses She made me feel the most welcomed both nights I stayed there The room was great(the main was okay

The standing shower needs tending to Fingerprints and black spots in the corking around the shower room#318 Other then that Would Highly recommend this hotel to travelers

Jason Green

While this hotel is fairly clean, the lack of services and amenities is disappointing Upon arrival of a 4 night stay, I was informed that the pool was out of order While this doesn’t bother me, others may have wanted this option

The next morning, went downstairs to get breakfast and was informed that there was no staff or supplies to make the breakfast that you come to expect from staying at a Courtyard Since there was no breakfast, might as well grab a signature Starbucks coffee nope All they offered was black or decaf After the day was done, returned to my room only to discover that housekeeping had came Not an issue except that I had placed the do not disturb door hanger out I stay at Courtyards expecting a certain degree of service and this one was lacking I’m sure that everyone will be quick to jump on the shortages of people and supplies, however around the corner the Starbucks was fully stocked This may be a management issue

I have been traveling more frequently and try to stay at Holiday Inns This decision is based off of my confidence in Holiday Inn I am able to comfortably stay at a hotel with the cleanliness and amenities within my budget

Unfortunately my past 3 stays made me feel that the brand’s customer service is not of importance to the company I had to travel to Long Island recently and this branch was everything I think of when staying at a hotel The room was immaculately cleaned, my bed was a cloud, the decor is updated, the woman who checked me in was professional and seemed happy to meet us and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious 😋

Saran Kaur

From the booking process to the check out process, everything went smoothly! Customer service was excellent! I booked the room the day of and was able to get a double queen room for a pretty decent price, considering all other hotels in the area were booked! Check in starts at 3PM, I didn’t make it to the hotel until 7/8ish PM but the wonderful receptionist did give me a call to make sure I was going to make it, and reassured me that my reservation was secure (I hadn’t paid yet, did the whole pay at location option) Housekeeping had done a good job with cleaning the room and restocking! As you can tell from pictures, there was enough parking (they had more in back), views weren’t anything special but decent for a hotel right off the highway Overall had a good stay!

Grace Wilson

The desk attendant who checked us in kept talking to her coworker in Spanish while checking us in Stayed for 5 nights room was only cleaned the first morning and the fourth day Called front desk to advise them that our room had not been cleaned for 2 days

They sent up clean towels and assured us that our room would be cleaned the following day Had to empty our own garbages Note slipped under the door advising that the room would only be cleaned the following day if we requested it Called front desk and the lady said we had been added to list already because the room was not cleaned for two days The next day room was not cleaned Went to the front desk who advised that they were not aware that we had requested that the room be cleaned Breakfast was good Requested a wake up call for day of departure that was not received

Gorgeous property Room was nice but wasn’t cleaned properly before my arrival There was old food and drinks in the refrigerator

The safe didn’t work Wallpaper peeling off the walls and there was a used towel hanging on the shower rail Regarding the Pool: The website and the signs at the pool say “adults only” (which was THE reason for booking there) but the pool was filled with kids and the occasional crying children Would have been fine had I willingly known the pool was not advertised as adults onlyFood is outrageously expensive I ordered a pasta dish for dinner in my room It came in a small round plastic takeout container With all the service charges, taxes and tip it cost $52 There was nothing extraordinary about the dish Pic of pasta below The surroundings and property itself were beautiful, but I would not stay there again Didn’t get what I paid for

I stayed at this hotel for a wedding and enjoyed it! You could tell that they’d recently updated the furniture and wallpaper in the rooms I appreciated the blackout curtains and comfortable bed! The room itself was also very clean The hotel is older, but the property has a fascinating history and is quite charming

The staff we encountered were incredibly kind and professional

Poorly managed property with disorganized staffThis could’ve been a great hotel with a change of staff an better managementWe got a preview before our trip when we were trying to figure out if there were any restaurants on site that served breakfast

We were told no – twice, when we called the property, only to find out later that there is, in fact, a full service buffet dailyWe checked-in early, only to be given a room where the door and the window would not lock We called the front-desk (getting through there itself is a challenge and took us 20 mins each time after being put on hold), asked to be moved into another roomThey respond “Oh Yes! I forgot that room doesn’t lock” How does something like this slip your mind? Doesn’t your check-in system allow you to block a room that requires maintenance? After waiting for half hour, we had to walk over to the front-desk, someone came back with us to transfer to another room but the window would not lock there At the 3rd try, they tried to move us into a room with a king bed (we had requested for 2 doubles) After wasting 2 hours, we finally settled in the roomService at breakfast left a lot to be desired The waiter was rude Coffee was not refilled When we requested for a refill and waters for the table, he “forgot” to refill my husband’s cup and “banged” the glasses of water that he filled on the table so that they spilled on the phone that was lying besides itNot sure whether his problem was with us or with the jobTO Summarize:Pros: The location of the property is greatCons: The hotel rooms need work – not for an upgrade but to make them basic and acceptableStaff and Management need a changeDefinitely not worth the price that they charge per nightHighly recommend an alternative location for potential guests until the hotel has worked out their kinks

Phenomenal place with a fantastic staff Stayed there for over three weeks and loved every moment of it The hotel is very clean and they probably have one of the best sound-proof wall systems

I barely heard any loud TV or anyone from the next room in all my time there I know it’s not because earthlings have all of a sudden become mindful of othersThe continental breakfast is fantastic as well The range of food choices is wider than in other hotels I’ve stayed in I would definitely stay here again

Jacob

I just happened across this lovely hotel during my semi-frequent trips to the area The staff and service here is remarkable Rooms are always clean and comfortable

Great assortment of food at their free breakfast Complimentary/no fee parking Most importantly to me, LGBT friendly Prices are decent for the area and yes you could find cheaper—but after one stay here you wouldn’t likely want to find anywhere else

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because it was not the worst place I have stayed Room was somewhat clean and decent enough to spend the night However the front desk needs help

We were greeted with “she will help you ” with in seconds a group of teen girls jumped in front of us and the other employee took us hesitantly She lacked any hospitality training When I asked if there was room service I was bluntly told “no” without additional information regarding the hotel, the restaurant or the bar on-site As we entered the room, we immediately went to set up the pull out couch for our 10 year old son Unfortunately there weren’t any sheets or blankets available I called the front desk and was told no problem, someone will be up shortly No one showed up so my son slept with us We also didn’t have any bottled water! There were clear signs posted of quiet time at 10pm yet they allowed a bunch of preteen girls cause a ton of noise until almost midnight After a terrible night sleep, we go to check out The front desk clerk greeted us, put us to the side and checked in someone behind us and gave her 2 bottles of water When she finally helped us, I was told you have a zero balance & have a nice day I was not asked if I enjoyed our stay nor about the breakfast Not even asked if I wanted a copy of the receipt! Looks like I will have to find another place to stay when visiting my family Total disappointment

Sharon Maccagnano

It’s clean and quiet They do not have USB ports for charging your phone The TV is situated on the right side of the room which is a painful angle for your neck

Seems like they tried to cram too much into the room They could have taken out the couch, the room is a bit small for it, and set up the dresser and TV in that area This way you’re not straining your neck to watch TV The refrigerator is also next to the couch, like an end table It’s a very odd place for it Every single hotel I’ve been at over the last year includes water bottles, especially for the coffee machine, they do not There is a broken window in one of the hallways too Check in was pretty easy They have a restaurant but I haven’t seen it open yet since I’ve been here They serve breakfast, I think that’s separate from the restaurant, but seems a little pricey to me considering it’s not cheap to stay here It’s not close to really anything It’s not a bad place but I’d expect a few more amenities for the price that cheaper places offer It has some pretty scenery

Annette DiMuro

25 – 3 stars I had rented 3 rooms for my family We did not use the pool or gym so I cannot comment on those areas

The grounds and location are beautiful The customer service appeared to be short and borderline rudenot the usual customer service you would expect from hospitality industry even from a 3 star hotel which this one is rated The rooms were nicely decorated but not the cleanest The shower doors still had soap drips and water spots all the corners need to be cleaned The vents were filled with dust The beds were lumpy No complimentary water, coffee/tea or breakfast and free standard breakfast ONLY for Titanium Marriott members No access to computers unless you swipe a credit card

Eric is wonderful! We’ve stayed here 3 times for my husbands BMW training and each time Eric remembers us, is so polite, and very helpful He is absolutely the best person to ever deal with while staying here! The hotel is nice, but each time we’ve gotten a faulty fridge in our room so that’s the only downsideMichael… First time we came we asked for advice on getting to the city and instead of giving advice he called a “car service” which cost us $200 for a 30 minute ride to the city

It wasn’t even a car service, it was some dude ripping people off offering to drive them places in the city and charge a $100/hr Big joke!!

J.R. LaReaux

Excellent Front desk staff very helpful and friendly Can not say enough about the welcoming staff and assistance

Superior room at best price in area Well worth it even though we only stayed one night Never mind other places in area If you want great, clean, quiet place with accommodating front desk, pick hereand I’m picky, so happy with our choice

Hotel felt a bit dated and in need of a renovation The largest elevator was at the rear of the hotel, which was problematic if you used a luggage cart There were no elevator banks close to the lobby

There were smaller elevators closer that held about 4 people but not carts Rooms were small but clean Service was very friendly and helpful They had breakfast but it wasn’t free and a bit pricey There was also a fee to park

My family stayed here while attending a military honors funeral Just the history of the hotel makes it such an honor to be a guest The breakfast buffet is excellent

We had a room to celebrate with our group of classmates and the service was great Beautiful historic place The rooms are small but it’s location makes it easy to attend any event inside West Point Military Academy We will definitely be back and will recommend

I stayed here during a road trip to the East Coast I really liked the historic, gorgeous building and grounds The room was very clean, large, and had great views of the Hudson

Accessing the place seems intimidating – going through a guard gate and all – but the hotel is well within walking distance to town The staff was very friendly (especially the valets – knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional), the food in the bar is great, and breakfast was good but (of course) expensive I’d return anytime

We stayed at the Thayer Hotel the beginning of May We absolutely adored the charm and history of The Thayer I felt like I was in Europe

The accommodations were great, they have a great fitness room and the staff was extremely nice and helpful (especially with us coming in so late after a 13 hour drive) Enjoyed eating at Zulu Time, but didn’t have enough time to try the other restaurants Will definitely stay there as much as we can over the next 4 years!

If I could give this establishment 0 star I wouldWhere do I even start? I’d like to start by saying I NEVER write bad reviews, only positive I have a hospitality background and I know how hard hospitality workers work but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my lifeFirst off, the room was 86 degrees (no I’m not exaggerating, 86 degrees) When we asked the front desk they said that it would get cool by the night

We were there for my best friends wedding so we just agreed and went to the wedding We got in around midnight and it was now a shocking 84 degrees There were ANTS in the bed and the toilet didn’t flush They pride themselves on cleanliness and this was a breeding grounds for bacteria We went down at 6am when we couldn’t take the heat anymore to complain and were completely written off as if we were lying We were supposed to stay for a brunch the morning after the wedding but we could not even stay there anymore Not to mention, my husband woke up with pink eye from the filthy ant covered sheets After missing the brunch, we decided to call to complain and were hung up on, given attitude and told we would need a picture as proof for the ants Is that a joke???? We paid over 300 dollars for this room to basically sit in a filthy sauna I have never been so disgusted in a company They should shut down the hotel until they can get the air fixed but they continue to scam people and check them inTo conclude, we were not refunded or apologized too and we’ve done nothing but be nice to everyone at the establishment Insanity Please please please bring your business elsewhere I have no idea how they have a single good review

The staff was very nice and friendly they are the only reason this place is receiving any stars I stayed here for a weekend with my mother and the room was VERY tiny the tv was very tiny the sheets had stains on them and the comforter had a slight yellowish tone The bathroom was a decent size compared to how small the room was but the shower head must need some major cleaning because barely any water came out

my mother and I felt like we took bird baths They advertise a breakfast but there was barely any breakfast, coffee the muffins/pastries in plastic, waffle maker and barely any fruit I more than likely wouldn’t stay here again

The Good: The room and hotel were very clean and well maintained Staff were friendly and helpful The bed and bedding were comfortable

The room had just the perfect amount of space, although the tub/shower was cramped (anyone over 5’7″ would have to bend down to get their hair wet) The location of the hotel is good being close to the freeways, and centrally located The Cooper’s Mill restaurant and Ruth’s Chris offer a fair amount of dining options without having to leave the hotel There were blackout curtains on the windows, which was great, but there was still the issue ofThe Bad: There was a good amount of light being cast in the room from the cable box on the back of the TV and the light from under the door Thankfully the location of the bed “hid” a lot of the under-the-door light, but nothing prevented the entire wall from being lit up from the green light from the cable box A recent study found that any amount of light in a room is enough to prevent a deep sleep, and I have always found this to be true In this case, it resulted in me never getting a solid night’s sleep and being generally grogging for the four days I was there And this was further exacerbated byThe Ugly: The walls are insanely thin Two of my nights ended up being late nights due to neighbors talking on their phones At first I thought they were just overly loud, but I don’t think this was true, just the lack of soundproofing in the walls Thankfully they retired by 10:30, but this was far later than I wanted to go to sleep (had to wake up at 4am the second time)

5 night stay Screwed up reservation (wrong dates) Pool closed-appears to be a months-long issue with little effort toward resolution

Needed hotel maintenance to get in room (dead battery on door lock), next two days had to be rekeyed due to hotel requiring appearance at the desk to run credit card Hotel posts the weather at two entrances-forecast was six months old-tells you right away what the attention to detail is Titanium Elite member-never recognized by the staff Fitness area was once top of class; unfortunately at least four of the weight machines are in need of significant maintenance Aerobics equipment is state of the art Good location, the base restaurant is good (but expensive); not sure if the Ruth Chris restaurant is even open Housekeeping did a good job and worked around our schedule, and everything in the room worked Acceptable hotel for business trip but not up to the Marriott standard

This is standard Marriott I’m very happy that the services are coming back after Covid! They actually have two redtaurant/bars! A Ruth’s Chris open seven days for dinner, and Copper’s Mill open 6 days a week for breakfast and dinner Quick and courteous staff

The rooms will need a refresh soon I prefer showers over bath tubs that I never use and are not very safe!

The hotel is beautiful inside and out I felt like I was at a Great Gastby partyThe staff was above and beyond friendly and accommodating

The issue I did have is we did not know the hot tub and sauna were out of order until we and a group of kids went to use itThe front desk staff are left to tell guests this and management should do a better job communicating this to guest before hand; not the staff who seemed to have enough to deal withFor the amount of money per night for rooms, I would have liked to enjoy the hot tub and sauna as well as not pay to have a refrigerator in the room, a $10 charge for entire stayThey could also provide microwaves as well Families with children need to reheat food for when restaurants are closedOther than that I would stay again; I love Hilton hotels and again, the staff was amazing

Let me just say this… I stayed here for one night as a romantic getaway with my partner To our dismay, we were clearly treated differently This hotel is quite fancy and the room was very clean

My problem wasn’t the room or location, but some of the staff who made us feel very uncomfortable We had dinner at Two Henry’s, where we had a young waiter who was helpful and nice However, another waiter who was not tending to us kept asking questions Leading up to him asking us what room number we are in I thought it was inappropriate I don’t know why he thought it was okay to ask us for our room number Especially because he wasn’t even our designated server It seemed as though the staff wanted to keep an eye on us since I am Latina, and my partner is of very deep complexion We couldn’t help but feel like we were being watched It upset me Not that it’s anyone’s business, but we are both college graduates with respectable careers and to be treated like we were a threat or there for trouble did not sit right with me I enjoyed my room and the amenities, but unfortunately I will never stay here again knowing how the staff treated us I have experienced discrimination and tension before in my own personal experiences, but being with my partner, I experienced an indescribable feeling of projected shame It was unnecessary and I didn’t appreciate it

I was skeptical to stay after reading a few reviews, but I am glad I didn’t listenfirst they lets us in the room early, the room and bathroom clean, beds were comfy

Hallways and main floor were clean and smelled nice We ate at the pub and Pablo the bartender/ waiter was great We shared all our food and he made separate soup bowls, salad and our entree’s Also we bought wine from snack area and was able to drink our wine with dinner, that was very nice of Pablo We saved on drinks which reflected on his nice tipThe pool was nice and what a great gym, unfortunately I didn’t partake but my husband did He was like a kid in a candy shop I would recommend this place I hope to stay here soon

It’s pretty good! Our hotel room was perfect I wish that the bathroom was in a different location or just street it was weird how it was positioned like the toilet but I guess there’s nothing I could do about that also a weird thing was that there was a beam in my shower just kind of on the side I found that slightly strangeI want to give it a three out of five but I’m giving it four because The employees here really are so funny and sweet very nice and also I loved how the police was just minutes away from the venue at the Venetian We had breakfast on our thing but we didn’t end up using it and we didn’t use the pool either but I heard it was pretty nice from the other guests

Mark Simmelkjaer

Positives: Nice location, good staff, reasonable price pointNegatives: LOUD – thin walls make sounds permeate throughout the entire building

Given this hotel is a frequent wedding venue the clientele can be loud in hallways AC units take a while to cool rooms leaving a very stuffy feeling

We spent a night here while we were getting our boiler replaced at our home We bypassed several other closer hotels to take advantage of the newly updated facilities here The bathroom was very spacious and the shower pressure was lovely

We stayed in Room 135Breakfast in the AM was a nice perk that included hot choices!

If you are traveling with young children please be aware they do not have connecting rooms and are not very accommodating! We had called ahead of time to be sure we’d be able to have a safe space for our family’s stay and we were told to call the day of and they’d help us out We called right before the weekend again and they said not a problem We then called the day of, 2 days later, as we were told, and they said “we do not have any connecting rooms at all” and they would not upgrade us to a larger suit or refund us anything at all
