The rooms are so so They don’t do room cleaning unless you pay for it, however you can exchange towels and such at the front desk The staff is great and very helpful

The location is at the far end of Waikiki, really good for families (proximity to zoo/beach/aquarium) If you’re looking for night life, most of it will be a half mile walk, doable but there are better places to stay for that The assigned parking is nice if want to pay for it

German R (Elegate)

To Roxy thank you very much for your hospitality and for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable one The location is great I liked it The prices are pretty competitive and parking is not too bad

Word of advice if you have a rental please call the hotel in advance so they can reserve a spot for you On the second floor they have a bar, Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand, which does gives a nice view of the Diamond Head The next time I go to Honolulu the Waikiki Grand Hotel is most definitely the first spot I’ll check out

Ying Li

My conclusion on this place: 1) You got what you paid for 2) I would not recommend this place 3) Location was the only good thing

Reasoning: 1) the whole shower set broke, cant shower at all Front desk personnel was not willing to change room (allow me to go to another room to shower) until the Wi-Fi was not working in that room 2) front desk personnel seems busy all the time, no patient with attitude Made a big deal of getting a blanket and bringing back a blanket

I’ve been staying at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel every time I come to Honolulu for at least 6 yrs Love the location, you will love sitting in lounge chairs on the lawn watching and listening to the oceanThe views are spectacular

Mark and David who I go through to rent a condo, have been greatDon’t expect a fancy hotel, what you get there is a special place that I think same people come back to year after year It’s very relaxing, actually very quietCan’t wait to go back

Milehigh Brat

The place is beautiful and the view cannot be beat Best view in all of Waikiki! The kitchen is fully stocked including spices We loved how both sides open up to the outside with wide open doorways and all of the fun ocean toys provided

The only downfall is that you can tell someone has smoked in the unit It was cheaper to park on the street than pay for the provided parking so was a blessing in disguise that no parking was available through management

Nan F

Unit 1202 needs some love The views were spectacular, but the windows were so dirty that it was distracting Both sofas need to be cleaned, there were mismatched lightbulbs in the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable

We made the best of things, but overall it seemed poorly maintained As often happens the photos are misleading, probably from several years ago

Beakers hotel, is very old, and you can see it in construction, design and efficiencyWith that being said, I still give it five starsThe staff is nice, the rooms are clean and came with a miniature kitchen/ dishes(microwave, electric stove top)

The balcony has no view but it’s a nice Hideaway to be outside and read a book or chill The pool is clean and beautiful located in the courtyard Right out side the door is a ABC convenience store and a shaved ice shop The beach is about two blocks away free parking is extremely limited And the shopping is walking distance The zoo is about a good walk away

Will Boelts

My wife and I could not have had a better experience at The Breakers The location was perfect – only a half a block to Waikiki Beach The room we stayed in was delightfully vintage and absolutely spotless and the housekeepers were very attentive throughout our whole stay

The front desk staff made us feel welcome throughout our whole stay We really feel we couldn’t have picked a better place to spend a week in Honolulu ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice charming rooms to stay in When you hear the word hostel you tend to lower you expectations However, the rooms here are very clean and the premises (laundromat area/common areas/hangouts/smoking areas) are very well maintained

The staff is friendly and accommodating The surrounding areas are peaceful and other tenants keep to themselves so it makes for a really nice stay

Ted Frey

Super accommodating staff! I was supposed to arrive in early afternoon, but my flight was canceled and then my new flight was delayed I didn’t get in until late at night, but they were there to meet me at the gate and get me all set up after a super long day of traveling The room was far more than I was expecting for the price as well

Sure, it’s no luxury resort, but the value for your money is unbeatable!

Corey Hood

Nice guys in management, easy-going, with respect and aloha The location is perfectly situated right in the middle of everything you will ever need or want They are not worried about any comments from a few years ago since they made it into a community by their upgrades of the security, with a tall fence, automatic vehicle gates, three sets of locking doors, high-tech cameras and in fact have generally raised everything to a hotel standard

I’d prefer to stay here than anywhere else, and have for years, while it’s worked very well for me When you consider everything, quite the top value accommodation

We stayed at 2/2 Bamboo 2 with 4 adults I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to explain how truly astounding this place was We could only enjoy 2 days there because it was booked solid and for good reason! Not only was the home cozy, comfortable and beautiful but the hospitality was second to none

The location was perfect; right across from Hukilau Marketplace which we enjoyed for evening shopping and live entertainment We went to Ken’s Fish Market and bought the freshest fish and shrimp we’ve ever had and prepared a great meal at the bungalow We stopped at the street vendor and grabed Otai to put on our french toast we prepared the next day (I may never use syrup again) Stepping out into the oasis of a backyard with the ocean right there made us feel like we had the island to ourselves If you visit Oahu and only stay in Waikiki, you will be doing yourself a disservice

Spent a week with my kids at this resort and i honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about it From our arrival, the customer was some of the best i have ever experienced It is a beautiful resort that is super kid friendly

Multiple pools for the kids to enjoy and a reflection pool for the grown ups The lagoon beach out front was perfect for laying out, building sand castles, and just relaxing in the water There were different activities to keep everyone entertained including an outdoor movie night My only real issue with this resort is that it’s on Oahu, so any time you venture off property there is horrible trafficI would highly recommend this resort!

Karen Scott

The resort is beautiful and well kept Our villa is spacious and has plenty of space for the 7 people Even the pull out beds are comfortable

The kitchens are equipped with more than enough tools to cook a full meal or a simple snack The view from the balcony is gorgeousThere are a ton of activities daily for kids and adults The restaurants are good and the food is delicious and comes out piping hotThe beach is gorgeous and because it’s in a cove there are little to no waves and very calm You can float in a tube and fall asleep it’s so calmThe pools are refreshing and offer something for everyone A quiet pool (reflection), a toddler/volleyball pool with a beach sand entry, and another pool with varying levels that has a waterfall, cave and separate slideThe ocean is clear, you can see straight to the bottom There are fish everywhere as well It’s amazing!Fabulous resort and worth the trip!

Perfect getaway! We loved our stay in Diana’s condo The unit was super clean and comfortable The beds made you feel like we were at home! The views off the balcony were beautiful and relaxing

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the large cooler was perfect for carrying our stuff down to the BBQ grills I loved the kitchen appliances too The condo has a bunch of beach toys and beach chairs and beach towels! The games and videos in the cabinet by the tv were a nice touch too, for when we wanted some down time in the condo Parking was a breeze and quick and easy to get to I would love to rent this condo out again and again whenever we have time off Diana was always quick to reply to any of my questions I had throughout the booking process She even suggested snorkeling spots, grocery stores and was always so helpful

Landree Tullis

Diana’s condo is beautiful!! She met us at the front desk and made sure we we were all checked in She showed us where everything was and she is so friendly and helpful! The condo is beautifully decorated and has EVERYTHING you need and was super clean! The deck and the view of the lagoon and the sunsets are unbelievable! The complex is fabulous and the lagoons are amazing Ko Olina is a great place to stay! I hope we get to come back, and when we do, we will definitely make our reservation with Diana!

Beautiful Location! We spent 7 nights at the condo traveling from Japan on first vacation rental adventure and were very happy with our stay! The condo is amazing – plenty of space of family of 4 There is a Target & groceries less than a 10 minute drive The lagoon is great for swimming and snorkeling especially kids & never busy

We went to Disney Aulani next door and enjoyed without having to pay high prices We really appreciated all of the beach accessories Diana provided to the condo, including snorkels coolers and beach bags My husband & I enjoyed a few evenings down at the bar and live music one night

We tented here for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer It’s the best tenting experience we have had on the island The place is quiet and showers is cold water and have doors

There is a sink for every site which is convenient bathroom is a yurt and is clean and modern There is a gate with a code so make sure you get the code prior to checking in I find email communication more effective than phone callsalso be prepared the whole reservation process could take a few days since there’s no automatic booking system

Dee Dee

Came here for camp with my class back in 6 grade, and I remember it being so fun! So I enrolled my child to experience it just as well, since not so many schools do this for their 6th-Graders anymore, and he had a blast!!! He was feeling emotional when it was time to go homeHe is looking forward to going back again next Summer, and it makes me so happy that he loved it!Counselors are fun(ny), and friendly Bunk mates are all awesome kids, according to my kid

My kid has nothing but super good feedbacks about his time there Super happy kid = super happy mama

Kayla Smith

I spent a night tent camping and had a great experience There is a gate you have to get code access for, so I felt safe staying here I basically had the place to myself

Large camp site, with my own sink There’s a yurt bathroom with flushing toilets, very clean And I was right off the beach, had it to myself I’d come again 🐈🐈‍⬛🐓🐓

This particular location is awesome They make you as a gust feel so welcomed This is my second time staying here and it’s perfect

The team members are the best The front desk employees night and day are the best They go above and beyond and that is true customer service Even though some were training, they were a team and they help each other out I had an issue with my cellphone and had to get a replacement shipped out to me That front desk kept an eye out for my package and call me the second it came in I appreciated that little kindness so much Thank you, thank you The hotel is so clean and I am a germaphobe The housekeeping sprays and disinfects the room before going in to clean The cleaning is impeccable 👌 I will be back

Lianne Buenafe

I honestly want to rate Hampton Inn & Suites Kapolei a five star, but I will make it 4/5 I will mention the downside first First, there was no microwave

I would recommend having microwave in all rooms I believe all the guests needs microwave to heat up their food Lastly, the ac Guests should be able to control the temperature in their rooms Me and my family were freezing due to how cold the room was and all we can do was wear jackets, hoodies or sweatshirts, and socksThe good side however is they have free breakfast every day, they can provide us toothbrush, toothpaste, etc (if we need one), get mini fridge, friendly & helpful staff, a swimming pool (already have clean towels for guests to ready to use outside), laundry room, a gym, and a beautiful lounge to stay at I also like how their water dispenser has that footstep to get water instead of using our fingers to pressSo overall, this still a good place to stay at It is a friendly and safe environment 🙂

Lavinia Morrison

I cannot say enough good things about this place! All of the staff are polite, friendly and professional This place is immaculateThe breakfast buffet is great

There is something for everyone The kitchen staff work tirelessly keeping the place clean and the food and beverages replenished There is a fitness center, pool and laundry room on the first door The decor is modern with very clean linesRight outside, in walking distance are a plethora of restaurants and shops!I highly recommend this hotel! ❤❤❤❤

The hotel was in a great location

walking distance from shops, restaurants, & the beach The front desk staff was very accommodating to us as we were a family group of 14 They gave us a free cot for 2 different rooms The rooms were large enough for each group The breakfast didn’t have a lot in the way of variety but it was enough for us The lobby area was great for our group for the evenings when we liked to play cards The rooms were cleaned nicely each day after our activities One night there as a lot of noise from the street until like 3am but certainly not the fault of the hotel The guy getting chair’s/luggage was kind of grouchy but I attributed that to the fact that he was always working–day & night with no day off that I noticed throughout our 8 day stay We thanked him for all he did putting up with us & tipped him our last day He did apologize although no apology was necessary If you’re on a budget & want a nice enough place to stay with free breakfast & close proximity to places I recommend it

Nabil Nahhas

This is a very nicely located hotel in the middle of everything you need The accommodations are very good, a little above the 3 star rating they have Everyone is friendly and the continental breakfast is also very good

After a fun filled day, I would enjoy sitting by the pond and relaxing with my wife before we went back upstairs to our room I highly recommend it

NOT AS DESCRIBEDI am not one to write a review but this place was so bad that I felt compelled to warn other travelers There are many places to stay in Honolulu, don’t choose this one Not as advertised

The pictures must be from 20 years ago We arrived in Honolulu at 11:30 pm, was told their parking lot was full and there was no street parking The hotel clerk gave us directions to a public lot which he said was a 5 minute walk away and they would validate the parking I asked him if it was safe to walk that distance at night and he said just be aware of your surroundings The parking garage was a 10 minute walk at best but because we found ourselves in the company of multiple people that appeared to be very intoxicated and several looked to be living on the streets, the 10 minute midnight walk felt like an eternity When we finally arrived to our room, it was dated, dirty, the sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and the air conditioner over our bed could not be turned down Just below our room on the street, people were partying until after 3:00 in the morning When we picked up our car the next day from the parking garage, we were charged an additional $2000 with the validation We were very disappointed in this property and if you are considering staying therecontinue your search
