This was not a comfortable stay for us It was not a nice Embassy Suites The entire hotel seemed unclean and outdated

I can’t even get into all of the details of the different issues with thatOur room smelled terrible The couch in the living room was so dirty I asked my daughter to not touch it The curtain rod from the shower was hanging down from loose screws on both ends of it, from the walls We could not even keep the shower curtain closed enough for water to not come out onto the floor And we could only shower after having maintenance come up to jimmy the faucets to get them to workThe back of the toilet tank was broken, there were stains on the bathroom floor The carpet was very dirtyAfter just feeling so uncomfortable in the hotel itself, we were at least looking forward to breakfast Got down there at 6 because we had to hit the road, and waited for a while only to be told that because it was a holiday, breakfast was not until 7 That was annoying because not only were we told 6, we were also given a piece of paper that said 6 o’clock The man sending us away actually argued with me and told me I would have been given a piece of paper upon check in that said because of the holiday it was 7 I pulled out the paper to show him, which said 6 And another couple standing and waiting with us, had actually just called the front desk and were also told 6 So we had to leave without eating and go find a gas station breakfast so we could hit the road Really just annoying and disappointing Not a fun stay

Visited MD 5 times within 3 months because I’m buying a house and, so far this is best hotel we stayed at Amazing location, Hotel is gorgeous, staff is nice, unlimited parking… but few things why I’m not giving 5 stars- 1st and most important, room cleaning service is available only every day and you HAVE TO REQUEST IT FIRST

So if you booked for 3 days or 2, your room will not be taken care of- Rooms are too close to each other Almost no privacy When you open your room, a bunch of people can see inside if they are outside in front of their rooms, on the balcony or even in the elevators which are fully transparent- The breakfast service has this lady who is so unprofessional and rude Zero customer service I went to breakfast on day 2 and it was a very nice and professional gentleman making the omelettes On day 3 it was a lady and literally everyone was complaining about her attitudeOverall, it was a good stay even if I called a week ahead and specifically asked for a baby crib in my room for our little one but it was not there Luckily we got it about an hour later after checking in That didn’t affect my review I wish I can give 45

This past weekend we stayed at the Embassy Suites at BWI We spent 36,000 points for a suite and were super disappointed When we arrived our room only had two towels and three pillows, which clearly isn’t enough

The room overall felt dated and honestly dirty The carpeting was pulling up in the common areas The shower was tiny (see photo) and there was mold around the whole base The shelf in the shower had been ripped out of the wall and never put back up, so our shampoo and soaps had to be placed on the floor (see photo) The floor of the shower was also poorly patched leaving it super rough The toilet paper holder had also been ripped from the wall and not replaced (see photo) We told the front desk, but I think they misunderstood and sent us extra soap and toilet paper The staff was struggling due to the hotel being booked and them being stretched thin The evening reception was poor We were limited to three drink options and poor bar snacks There were only two staff members, so the drink line backed up to the lobby Again, we have no complaints with the staff, there just weren’t enough of them Then for breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the crowds There was only one person bring out food, which left the counters a mess and everything constantly empty The man was trying so hard to keep up and he was so kind, but in a fully booked hotel, one person is not enough for this task The parking lot was dark and there were hardly any open spots We came across a car (not far from our own) with a smashed window and all the tires missing (see photo) There were no cameras or security around the parking lot, which was super alarming Additionally, this was my first stay I have had since achieving Hilton honors diamonds status and nothing was mentioned or provided regarding my status during my stay

I had a great experience at this hotel The room was exceptionally clean as was the rest of the hotel Even with 2 weddings and staying on a designated pet-friendly floor, we did not hear anything from our room and had a most comfortable stay

The staff was friendly and more than willing to do a little housekeeping upon request during our stay! We will 100% consider staying again in the future Thank you to the staff at The Hotel for a wonderful and welcoming stay Hands down one of the top hotels in the area for the price

Shannel D. K.

I am at this hotel a few times a year for business meetings Absolutely beautiful, staff are always pleasant Usually I stay with my sister or son when I come back to Maryland however I have this on my list of places to stay

Sorry I can not speak on the rooms Location is absolutely wonderful as well You have any and everything you need in close proximity

Dan S

Really nice place and the woman at the front desk was very nice and lovely With that said, I am only giving 4 stars because it is 4 days after our stay and my $50 room security deposit has still not been refunded Will change review once I receive that money back

***edit: after one week I received it back so am changing to 5 stars

The only reason that I gave this two stars rather than one because of the staff is really nice But this hotel has seen its better Days The rooms smells molded, it may be the carpet

It was difficult for me to sleep because of the smell I had a headache for the 2 nights that I stayed there My coworkers stated the same thingNormally hotel lobbies are nice and updated Not this one, so you know what you are going to get when you get to your room Even the wallpaper has scratches and dirt on it Horrible!!! Do not stay here unless you live lesser than this!

Gavin GUARDMAN

We booked in to a “suite” which is putting it very modestly The only upgrade was a bit more floor room It was on the fifth floor

There was peeling paint and wallpaper across most of the walls The toilet would not flush and ended up clogging immediately When going to the front desk, clerk was on a smoke break and had to call maintenance personally who was just not at work What kind of Hilton has no maintenance staff? We had to plunge the toilet ourselves Subsequently another person in my party tried to shower and the bath tub backed up When going to plunge to it to maybe try and fix it, black pieces came out of the drain God only knows what those were So we asked to move which they obliged The room the system said was available was not It was filthy and torn apart and smelt like some one had died in it from the hallway Back down to the desk we went They finally seemed to pull enough sense together to get us into a room seeing as how it’s approaching midnight and we’d be lucky if there was any more available The consolation was free ice cream and a changed rate The rate going from 135 to 99 a night In my opinion this place was comparable to a motel 6 which cost 30 dollars a night I probably would have slept better there I like a stiffer bed but I left with back pain The ac wasn’t working properly either as I dropped it to 66 degrees and the ambient temp stayed around 71 Damp and dingy The lobby bathroom stall is falling apart The pool was nice enough with a broken gate The entirety of the hotel comes from a time forgotten which was kinda cool for two minutes until you see how nasty it actually is I guess if I was as drugged as hunter s Thompson in fear and loathing this place would be marvelous But it is indeed a dumpster fire If you have live anywhere close to better than this hotel is not for you

Joey Meador

Before a long day of travel, I had booked a room at this hotel for over $200 in hopes of rest before a 7 hour drive the next day I arrived to a chaotic place with people having cookouts and throwing baseballs in the parking lot There was one person working on an incredibly busy night

I tried to go to sleep just before 9pm to no avail There was yelling, screaming, and door slamming I contacted the front desk They sent “security” up to quell the ruckus to no avail The next time I called the lady said she’d have them evicted, but still nothing I called the front desk 8 times over the course of 3 hours and as I write this the noise is still as loud as it was at 9pm This is behavior I expect paying $60 at a Motel 6, but this is a Hilton property charging almost 4 times that amount Stay away from this place if you actually want to sleep

We have been traveling up and down between Pennsylvania and Florida for the past 2 during the pandemic staying overnight in at least 10 different hotelsIt would be very easy for me to say that this was by far the best stay we have experience! We would not change a thing The room was clean and had a nice aroma to it

When we arrived the staff was courteous and helpful at all times and the best part of it was the breakfast was the best breakfast since the pandemic began! Will definitely stay here again next time

Nice hotel: quiet, fresh towels and cleanBUT:Please pay attention that one of the destination Tesla chargers is dangerously mountedThe male maid who was servicing the bins at the breakfast area has a terrible cough as he has a severe disease

Kindly asking to provide him with a maskOther than that, the receptionist was a smiley polite and competent personThe flower decor is nice!

Oh what a coincidence looking at these reviews When my husband and I were told by the front desk female manager that we were the only guests that complained about roaches at this hotel This Comfort Inn is infested with roaches

This is unsanitary and if the bugs are in one room then they are in the entire hotel My Valentine’s was ruin due to the poor condition of this hotel We use to love staying in the jacuzzi but not after last night We had issues here and there But nothing like our last visit and as we were celebrating a special day We’ll never reserve another room at this location again When my husband checked in he noticed a bug as the manager offer to change the room However he didn’t think anything of it because it was only one as he was sanitizing the room But it wasn’t until I arrived that more bugs started coming out I noticed one on the floor and around the jacuzzi area But once we were comfortable within celebrating Valentine’s Day we turned the lights off and they began coming out more and crawling around It was to late to reserve a room at one of the surrounding hotel because everyone were booked up Therefore we had to sleep with all the lights on in the room The manager don’t have to respond to my review because after already being lied to there’s no else that can be said I would appreciate if someone from Corporate would follow up on this matter

The hotel is in need of a deep cleaning It was dusty and visibly dirty base boards, windows etc The bed was worn and the pillows are like small bags of rocks

Super uncomfortable stay Staff wasn’t to friendly and hardly said helloWe’ve stayed here before and each stay has gotten worse The bar tender was on her phone checking out social media while we were trying to get drinks We will not stay again I certainly do not recommend this hotel, there are other options in this area These were my pillows in my picture I literally folded them in half When I asked for new ones, they lady at the front desk was totally annoyed with me They did deliver 2 new pillows that weren’t much better and they said they could only replace 2, so my husband had to tough it out

Jacquin K. Savoy

My first visit to this hotel will be my last I had a bad feeling about this place upon arrival The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful, but the overall experience was terrible

I reserved two rooms and requested either adjoining rooms or rooms next to each other (for me, my daughter(s), and her friends who were celebrating her birthday) They allegedly accommodated my request, however, when my children and I went into one of the rooms, it was already occupied We had to scramble back out of the room as not to disturb the occupant Unfortunately, the only other available room was two floors away from my girls in the second room That didn’t work for us, so we wound up leaving and checking into a nearby hotel I understand an honest mistake, but it was late and we’d had a long day We were ready to hit the showers and go to bed Having to find another hotel after 11P was very inconvenient and even more tiring Also, IDK if the guest in the room we went into was a hard sleeper or what because they didn’t budge when we barged into the room I asked the front desk attendant to check on them I hope they did!

Excellent hotel and great rates especially for Marriot Envoy point redemption I have stayed there on numerous occasions The rooms are well kept and very clean

I was nervous about booking here due to some of the reviews I readbut I’m so glad I did

The hotel itself is located in the business district of MD, so it’s a fairly quiet area that’s tucked away There were a few eateries near by but like we all know the good stuff requires som travel (longest we had to travel was 20minutes) The lobby of the hotel looked like it was being worked on so I was super nervous about the room We were booked for a suite on the fourth floor and it was beautiful! We had a room at the end of the hall and it was directly across from the elevator so that made things ten times more better We couldn’t heard outside noises from the room and because of our location we felt safe in knowing that we wouldn’t have that much foot traffic near our door The room was very spacious and comfortable The carpets and room itself was clean The only problem we had was the tub retaining water, but the front desk quickly resolved the problem in less than 30minutes In all, the room was affordable and exceeded my expectations; I think we found our returning hotel for future visits!

Melissa Dutton

We stayed here with a school group and the service was excellent The staff was kind and helpful Tyrone, Lorenzo, and Wendell were our favorites

We appreciate you guys answering our questions and giving us directions The shuttle was quick to take us to restaurants and stores nearby We have had a great time Strongly recommend this hotel!

Sarah Caskey

Staff is super friendly and welcoming The hotel itself though is very dark same with the rooms, not a big deal but the perception of the lamp shades completely bent out of shape and position, cardboard stuffed between the fan I assume to keep it from rocking, burn holes in the furniture, hair in the towels Rough guests and/or poor attention to detail when maintaining

This hotel was disgusting They must be paying for the good reviews We are IHG Gold Members and have never stayed at a hotel as gross as this

Was told by reservations that it was recently renovated but the hotel employees said it was not We were given a ground floor room and left after finding red stains on the mattress We were given a VIP room and that too was gross Never stay here! Would post pics but can’t figure out how

Alabama Zephyr

Hotel appears to be an older one and need a renovation noted mold all over the tile grout in the bathroom so proper maintenance has not been being done The staff at this location are absolutely wonderful! They are the reason for the three stars because they are what really make this location Other than the staff the rooms are mediocre and like I said in need of renovation

The on-site restaurant is a joke the menu is very limited and they don’t serve anything that looks remotely like any of the photographs on Google Maps for the restaurant LOL having said all that the worst thing about this location is its location It is impossible to get to this Holiday Inn that sits on the corner of an intersection from two sides there’s only one entrance that you can use and if you’re coming from the wrong direction particularly if you’re headed north you’re going to have to go somewhere and make a U-turn and then backtrack to be able to get to an entrance for this hotel Noting that I won’t ever stay here again as there are a couple of other Holiday Inns just down the road that are a lot easier to get in and out of Of course just visiting the area I had no idea that it would be such a hassle so I’m leaving this review in hopes it helps someone else in their decision making

Jeff Jack

I love to stay here food is great Has bar to Gets full fast so make a reservation

I am back in jessup MD tonight and it’s always a pleasure to see Carmen he does a great job at front desk and I’m definitely happy to see Dewayne working because he always helps me with everything Tonight I was having trouble trying to print something off the computer and Dewayne saved me again Thanks you Dewayne for your hard work and patience with your guest!!!! Enjoying a cold beverage that Franklin served me staff is àwsome!!!

Not as horrible as some of the reviews But no coffee for us early risers AND they charge for it anyways No breakfast either

Thin walls, hear everything It is very dated Grass was super high for my dogs and there was dog feces all over the courtyard (Bad dog parents, but still very unkept grounds) Definitely odor of marijuana in some hallways Needs to be demolished and updated Came back through, stayed elsewhere; much happier

Steve Tasco

It was kinda clean

that’s itok really where do I start? No microwave in room, a community microwave where the ice machine that doesn’t work iscleaned by who??? Me? Good luck with breakfast, if your schedule has you gone by 7:30 no breakfastnot sure they even have onemaybe someone could let me knowStaff was friendly enough but that’s not really important if they don’t offer anything else, a 2 outta 5 is kind

bdubz 612

The room was nice and that’s the only thing about this place that was okay The staff is ignorant, they not only don’t have any type of breakfast but they sell little cups of cereal and they also sell their cups of coffee I’m sorry but someone spends over 100$ to stay a night at your establishment the least you could do is give a cup of coffee for them in the morning

Very disgraceful and greedy is all they are

Awesome stay! We missed our connection so got to spend an unexpected night in Baltimore and chose this hotel Our whole experience started off great when Chris the shuttle driver picked us up What an asset this man is to the hotel! Professional, cares about his job and his customers, just delightful! The lovely Camille checked us in

She too is super professional, genuine, and welcoming She too is a delight Another excellent asset to the organization Our room was comfy, good pillows, very comfortable bed, with both a microwave and refrigerator We had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast but the area is beautiful with 3 hot offerings being readied I highly recommend this hotel!

Matt W. (Unkown11Player)

Water pressure and water temp were both great The hotel room was clean however the lamps outlets didn’t work at all, had to unplug them to plug in my chargerThe food prices are un-marked and the breakfast in the morning is not free

I thought they were confirming my room, but they were charging for breakfast

Joe Weessies

This is really two hotels in one HGI on the bottom floors and the suites on the upper floors Nothing free even breakfast anymore

Has a laundry and workout with pool but it’s crowded since two hotels Location was good for me Rooms clean quiet but not when you got kids running around and off course with the suites on the higher floors you get stomping I hate that but what can you do

It’s a decent and affordable hotel, not the caliber that would be my first preference however Rooms were clean, staff was professional Ashanti was exceptional! Our couches had stains, no big deal

They accommodated us when our AC unit was broken Continental breakfast, beautiful lobby Why three stars? Called our last night to simply request if it was possible for a late checkout Carl, the night attendant responds, “No” and after a brief silence says “no, no, no we are already booked, no” as though I was being scolded and he was aggravated about receiving the same request from other guests Poor customer service and soft skills When I was asked to sign a contract at check-in promising no parties and loud music and given a parking permit stating take all valuables out the car, that told me all I needed to know about the environment, the people that stay there and what staff has to deal with Nevertheless, that doesn’t exonerate staff from treating guests like second class nuances Do better Carl

Michelle

Long but thorough!…Staff: EXCELLENT WonderfulCustomer Service Honestly best staff experience I’ve ever had…and I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, some very high end

They go above and beyond, even for my kids! So friendly!Breakfast: FABULOUS spread Had sausage, was only lacking bacon 😂 tons of choices and on the go options too Not skimping with generics, either EGGS MADE WITH CHEESE…Need I say more?!Room: No complaints about cleanliness; AC DEF WORKS! 😉 Housekeeping is nice, helpful and efficient when needed Comfy bed and pillows! And of course, the suite factor with a sectioned off living space + kitchenette is clutchPool & hot tub: Fine, does the trick Could use more seating and keeping up with stock of available “pooltowels” on a shelving unit, but that’s ok Can get loud, but that’s to be expected if an indoor poolFree (soft) chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, GOOD COFFEE always hot and available, easy parking… what else can I say?PS “The Green Turtle Bar & Grill” is an easy, short walk and fantastic food! Menu and food quality much better than any typical sports bar!

Deborah Sanchez

So my family and I needed a 2 night stay the price was more than I’d like but it was a weekend so 340 is about average The room was accommodating but there were plenty of noticeable stains on the mattresses and sheets

There is a complimentary breakfast but the Waffles were all burnt and stuck together in the plastic The milk was going bad because it was being held at a warmer temp than it should’ve been There was visible mold in the bathroom and due to lack of staff, we couldn’t get an extra blanket or pillow until the morning Our room had a pullout sofa with no dressings Not the worst hotel experience but Def could use some improvements The staff that was there was pleasant at check in and during the interim The manager did make a point to come up to check the toilet which wasn’t flushing so that was a plus I’d come back for the sake of convenience

My boyfriend and 2 of our friends traveled to Baltimore for the Arsenal soccer game this past weekend We had originally booked a different hotel and after driving 7 1/2 hours we pulled up and they were permanently closed and did not inform us prior When I looked online it said that Hampton Inn was fully booked but I still decided to call for a room

Ricardo was able to get us the last room available and his customer service after hearing of our issue was better than could be expected Ashley P who works the front desk was equally as amazing! She checked us in and out with no issues, gave us food suggestions when asked and was honestly just the sweetest soul after our horrible morning Her level of professionalism and compassion was top tier and Hampton Inn is lucky to have someone who cares so much for guests working for them The room was great, good choices for morning breakfast and an amazing staff Would definitely stay again!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile from Charlie, treated as a diamond member She provided water, I did ask for the higher floors but the no rooms were available, but was provided a nice quite room The rooms are very clean, hotel is close to everything you need

During my 4 day 3 nights stay I have only dealt with Charlie and she has been tremendous Helpful with local restaurants and such I would recommend staying here and would come back

We were in the area for a funeral The desk clerk when we checked in was quick to give us recommendations for local restaurants that we might enjoy, and to see if we needed anything at all for our stay We thoroughly enjoyed our time there even if the occasion was difficult

All the staff we met was very kind and encouraging and we highly recommend this hotel

Overall, the hotel was fine but below standard for what I expect from a Marriott The pool is still closed “due to COVID” There is no indication of this anywhere and the lights in the pool house are on, resulting in very disappointed children

Our air conditioning did not work and our room did not lock There were also ants in our room and our shower head dripped nonstop Breakfast was great with a ton of variety and apart from the ants, the room was super clean and the beds were comfy

Matthew Peregoy

Booked a room here before an early flight Good location near Arundel Mills Mall and Live Casino but only 12 min from long term parking They have a shuttle if needed

They upgraded our room, which was nice; however, we requested feather-free through their website when booking and had feather pillows in the room, not foam We even asked at the desk at check in and they said the room would have both feather and non feather pillows It did not

Nice hotel and has a short commute to grocery stories like Walmart and Giant Very close to the Arundel Mills if you want to go a do some shopping and 13 minutes away from base The casino is nearby as well as many restaurants and fast food places if you are hungry

The staff is friendly and are prompt if you have an issue with anything They offer free laundry with detergent at an expense unless you bring your own I came here before the previous hotel I stayed in that was dirty and had mold I am recommending this to others!

I stayed here for over a month while I was waiting to move into my house My room was clean, the breakfast employee was incredibly pleasant, and there was plenty of storage However, when I checked out, I accidentally left an expensive Vitamix blender in the room and the hotel couldn’t have been less helpful or interested in returning it to me

I immediately called, provided my room number, and asked for housekeeping to retrieve it They said they’d check and call me back, but I didn’t get a return call After calling again, multiple times, they finally told me it was gone and there was nothing they could do

I have been there for almost 2 weeks and am very pleased with the service My suite is spacious and modern I love how the cook top has one large burner and one small, unlike other hotels with 2 same size

The windows are large so the room is bright The gym is way better than many other marriott gyms No coins needed in the laundry room, credit card is fine Special thanks to the front desk staff, especially Shantelle who was so pleasant and helpful at check-in, and Robert who is so patient, courteous and helpful He is one of the best front desk team members I have had anywhere, and I’m an ambassador elite so I have seen a lot

Katie Ray

Pros: The staff was all very warm and friendly The hotel was clean and it was in a convenient location with ample parking Breakfast was included – nothing fancy, but it wasn’t bad either

It may sound silly, but I really liked the water in the lobbyCons: That mattress is one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were lumpy By the end of the week my back was aching

First the goodThey had last minute availability My flight was delayed 4 hrs, I called the hotel before my flight took off and let them know we would be arriving at 1a and asked if they could setup the crib before we arrived

They did this and also left us extra bedding and blankets The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful  They provide a free 24/7 shuttle to/from BWI and Jack, the shuttle driver, was excellent Our room AC worked well in the summer heat and the bed and bedding were comfortable I absolutely LOVE their soft down pillows Breakfast options were very limited but I did enjoy the oatmeal (I was able to add butter, coconut flakes, shaved nuts and cinnamon) and coffeeThe badIts definitely the most rundown Hyatt Place I have been to Its an older building and the furnishings are very worn, dead bug in the light above the sink, moldy shower tile, carpets and furniture stained, etc  No outlets at the desk and the outlets by the TV near the desk didn’t work The outlet next to the bed was difficult to get to The blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the whole window so light poured in and woke me up at 7am

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Linthicum MD a few weeks ago and the staff was exceptionally kind The young woman at the reception desk with the long hair and big glasses is an asset to the hotel It was very busy and the rooms were not ready but she handled everything with patience and kindness

The room was very nice and clean and the pillows are great! I will definitely stay there again!

I wish zero stars was an option because 1 star is too many The hotel stunk and smelled liked pot It was dirty and in disrepair

My daughter was threatened by another guest because she thought my daughter was “stalking her luggage cart” when in reality, my daughter was just trying to get the one and only other cart in the entire hotel which just happened to be down the hall past the threatening guest The carpet in our room was stained, the enamel in our tub was chipped, the sink did not drain, and everything looked like it was falling apart We booked for 4 guests and the room had glasses and towels for 2 guests Also the towels were awful They were old and worn out We tried to buy bottled water in the “shop” and we were told to go to 7-11 We paid over $200 for one night I feel like if the hotel doesn’t provide a reasonable representation of what they claim to offer they should have to refund your money since we can’t get a refund if we cancel too late Fair is fair Save your money and stay somewhere else
