The staff here is phenomenal The breakfast, always wonderfully stocked Housekeeping is kind

We stayed here 5 days Did not meet one staff member who was rude , and met many who took their time to ask how you was doing and have conversation They shampooed carpets often when people left My ONLY COMPLAINT was the pool was not cleaned 5 days where there it was not touched Was disappointed that we paid for hotel to swim at and wouldn’t swim in it because it was too dirty

Heather Carlson

Location okay Super confused on how it’s “remodeled” because the only thing that’s new is the entrance waiting area Carpet in rooms is disgusting, general decor in rooms is super outdated as well as TVs and service on TVs

I have never been to a hotel that doesn’t have a hook or rack for towels No hooks besides two on backside of bathroom door So no where to hang your hand towel or swim suits Super tiny closet that was just gross Beds were comfortable but that is the only plus to this place Fridge had stains in it My pillow smelled No place to plug the coffee maker in unless you moved it and then no refills on coffee for 5 nights there Went down one morning for coffee and OJ for my daughter Coffee was sour so most likely left over OJ machine was off which I didn’t know so I kept trying and finally realized it when an employee yelled “It’s off! HELLO?! It’s off” Super super rude Pool is TINY! I would say 80% of the people staying here were construction workers working in the area I would never stay here again I’ve stayed in a lot of places and this was the worst of them all

My stay at the Country Inn and Suites was great I just been relocated to Sarasota by my company and I’m glad that I was able to find this property Special thanks to Katie at the front desk

She took time to show me some of the rooms prior to my stay and she was very hospitable and professional I have recommended this hotel, to some of my co-workers that will be traveling down to Sarasota in the future

My wife and I visited this past weekend for our anniversary From the onset it was a wonderful stay The hotel has been renovated from the 20’s, but still maintains some of its original feel

The gentleman at the front desk was phenomenal! Luke is who you’re looking for when you stay He is genuinely happy to be there, is a wealth of information on local places to eat, shop, etc, and makes you feel like you’re the only guest he has! I will definitely be staying there many more times

Cyriloh Garcia (Cyriloh56)

We currently live in Georgia but from Bradenton My mother recently passed and we needed a few rooms for family to stay in so we could have a celebration of life I have to say that they did not disappoint! The rooms were big, clean and welcoming

The staff was WONDERFUL!! Let me say if this company reads their reviews you have found a Gem in Luke!!!!!!! I don’t think I ever seen this sweet young man without a smile in his face and with such a welcoming personality Even while phones were ringing off the hook he maintained a great attitude both with the callers and the guest infront of him We needed to extend one of our rooms for an additional night due to car issues, Terra worked it out for us and was wonderful as well Before leaving we made reservations again in April Thank you all for making a stay comfortable!!

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel Location is right next to the airport and collegeRooms were roomy, nice and clean

The bed was actually super comfortable We enjoyed the pool as well, although they could do with some shade out there 😅 Slept in an missed breakfast so I can’t comment on that, although I do find free Breakfast to be a huge perk

Lucy Lucy

This is absolutely the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in I always wipe down everything with Lysol wipes at all hotels When I wiped down here, I did not get one speck of dirt on the wipes! Zero! I tried to find something, but found nothing! Spotless! The breakfast was adorned with multiple options

The staff was pleasant The location is great!

Santrina Glover

I visited on July 29,2022 I read all the reviews and that plus word of mouth led me to this hotel, It was everything and then sum The rooms were spacious the breakfast was AWESOME, and the property is very well maintained, yes the bed and pillows are soft but that made for a better nights rest

The location was only 15 to 20 mins away from EVERYTHING we wanted to explore Don’t second guess your choice about this location, I promise you will not be disappointed, and even if something is not to your liken, they have a really great staff that would love to make your STAY the best EVER😋👍🏾

The hotel and rooms were pretty dated and the hallways and carpet had definitely seen better days – Smelled like a frat house on Sunday morning when you got off the elevator Our room wasn’t much better but the linens and towels were clean Bathroom and furniture were filthy in our suite

We were moved to a different room that was slightly better Staff was excellent and very helpful all around Housekeeping was very attentive and polite to guests The lobby and breakfast / bar area was very nice and had a wide variety of coffee drinks and breakfast options Pool area was a highlight here clean and spacious We used the hot tub and pool daily Would go back but hopefully corporate does something about the overall condition of the rooms , furniture and common areas (aside from the lobby and pool) Again, staff and Housekeeping were amazing and the only reason I would returnThanks to them

Kelly Moore

This hotel has the appeal of a tomb LED lights would help this hotel out immensely The lobby was nice and inviting so I was surprised to get out of the elevator and be immediately transported to the reptile house at the zoo

Minus the reptiles, our room was dank and dark and smelled weird It was like a musty-feet smell We stayed at several hotels on this vacation and this was the only one I said, “cancel tomorrow’s reservation, I can’t stay here” I don’t mind old as long as it’s updated and clean This place just creeped me out Maybe since the lobby was nice and bright they are slowly renovating the hotel, but it would have been nice to have seen signs of that Staff was nice and pleasant

Hanging with the Coopers

The hotel is dated The toilet in our room had low pressure and didn’t flush well The front desk and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and kind with the exception of the manager at the front desk

He may be the GM as well We had a really good rate and I believe because of that he gave us a room on the lowest floor at the very end of the hall despite my husband’s Gold status They have pool security on duty and I understand the need for him as locals probably abuse pool privileges, but we were told we could only have 6 guests in the pool area including room guest We had not been home to Florida in 3 years due to Covid so family wanted to come see us and with it being so hot and us staying at a hotel, we invited them to come see us at the pool There were only 8 people at the pool when we got there and within 30 minutes they were all gone before the rest of our family arrived We had maybe 14 people show up, mostly siblings with their kids and we were told we had to leave or book extra rooms We’ve always stayed at this hotel and had similar number of guests and NEVER had any issues Maybe they thought we were going to have a party, I’m not sure, but that wasn’t the intention and I didn’t like the way they treated us especially as paying guests I explained that we were home for the holiday and we hadn’t seen each other in years so meeting up at pool would be fun for everyone and we would be respectful of others They didn’t care and said it was against their policy for me to have more than 6 guests I asked to see the policy, but they couldn’t produce one I didn’t argue We all left We finished out our stay, but I will never stay there again They are not family friendly, unreasonable and uncompromising

The Right Honorable Daniel Berulis

Staff is amazing The night crew in particular They went well out of their way to help accommodate an error in booking and made sure I felt valued and important as Marriott customer

Whoever runs this location must truly pick out the best of the best for employees and the whole place was immaculately clean Even the cleaning staff were overly polite and courteous , they held the elevator for me and then insisted that I take it and they would wait, as well as opening doors for me everywhere I went This was an amazing experience and should be a five-star hotel

Alize Shrue

My stay at the courtyard was a work trip The staff was mostly friendly except the restaurant/bartender she seemed annoyed with her job The room was clean, basic amenities and basic television , maybe 20 channels

Also there were spiders and ants present and I did get bit a couple times ! The housekeepers were nice It’s in a good location to get to the beach abs other things

Jose Meraz

My Stay was excellent I was visiting Sarasota for a vacation and I have to say that it was a beautiful hotel, pool was great, and let me tell you the jacuzzi was great as well I read some comments on here about not having enough towels but that is not true they do have enough towels and staff was really friendly too

I am from California so the temperature of the room was great I also would love to stay again at this hotel in the future because I really loved Sarasota

This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at The front desk employee were so very nice! Very helpful, courteous, friendly Our room was great, the beds were very comfy, shower was great

The room was very clean Breakfast was exceptional, food was hot, the employee working the breakfast was keeping the food stocked, very clean! I can’t say enough good about this hotel Thank you for the exceptional stay!!!

Sandra RJG

Clean, spacious roomExcellent breakfast buffetStaff partly friendly

Service poor for the price we paid 220$ a night Toiletries were not refilled repeatedly Every day I had to ask for a fourth towel AGAIN We stayed 4 nights I mostly had to pick up the towel at reception myself The white-haired staff at buffet was not always friendly and helpful30 minutes drive to beachesPool area could use some deckchairsSigns there are misleading respectively make no sense

Joe Bullen

Paul at the front desk provided outstanding customer service, giving me a noon checkout time when I arrived at 2am Paul is also friendly and makes great conversationThis hotel only gets 3 stars because they have no bar soap

A $250 hotel rate on a Thursday night and no bar soap? Neither at the front desk nor in the room Really? $250 is much more than the cost of my flight from BaltimoreThis hotel will also place a $50 hold on your card above the cost of the hotel room Somehow, in the process of booking this room, I’ve accumulated $900 worth of holds on my card This is ridiculousAlso, the rooms here are dated There is no window shade Only sheer curtains hang in the window So, if I want to sleep late, the sun will come streaming into the room Also, the furniture is dirtyThe dated bathrooms, however, are clean

I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating (2 stars)

my mother and I stayed for 3 days and were very pleased with our accommodations The room was very clean and nicely decorated (even had DOVE toiletries available) the staff is friendly, and the continental breakfast was amazing!! Buffet style hot food was available such as eggs, bacon, sausage and even pancakes The only thing that I could complain about was the water pressure in the shower but hey, it really wasn’t that bad We will definitely stay here again!

Nicole Wilson

We were there to help my Mother-In-law close the deal for a new house in the area We always stay at Hampton Inn’s for we always have had fantastic experiences This was no exception

The staff was absolutely excellent! They even let us print some contract material, which went well beyond what is required The pool and breakfast were equally excellent The one issue is the mattress for the pull out mattress was slightly soiled, but in no way takes away from the overall experience Very well done!

I’m not one to leave reviews but when a location is so nice and the staff so welcoming I always make sure to do so The location is darling, the atmosphere so peaceful and the views are breathtakingOne thing I do want to say is that the staff are great and honest people, I mistakenly left my charger (with my Apple Watch attached) in the room after I checked out and the staff was so kind to call me and let me know

Which gave me time to return and retrieve them Truly I am thankful for such true and honest staff! Thanks for making my stay peaceful

Suzanne Wardell

This was my 1st visit, I usually stay at the historic Hampton Inn nearby but switched to Marriott since the Hampton was gotten a little worn/dated in the past few years I was definitely not disappointed! The decor is fresh and sophisticated and the room was well appointed! Location is fantastic – right across from the harbor and within walking distance to lots of great restaurants The Oak and Stone is on the 1st floor of the hotel – they have a great beer wall and good food menu

There is a rooftop pool and bar and the exercise room on the 2nd floor is good for a quick workout Breakfast fare is just fine – nothing special but good on the way out the door Only drawback is the parking — it’s down the street in a parking garage, about a 2 minute walk That’s not ideal when you are dressed for business and having to walk in the heat and humidity or even worse, if it starts raining Other than that, it was a great stay and will definitely pick this hotel again over staying at the Hampton

Tiffany Crews

This is my 4th stay here at this hotel I’ve stayed 4 days/3 nights each week Kira has been beyond phenomenal with her customer service skills! Every question I’ve had she has found an answer

Each room has has been cleaned to expectation and each bed has been comfortable to sleep on Very inviting hotel with an easy check-in process I travel for work so these are a couple of things that are very important to me

I checked in for a one night stay They gave me a ground floor room which is fine but the electric shade in the room was broken I had this big window to the parking lot with no shade

People were just looking right inThe front desk wouldn’t fix the situation Wouldn’t change the room Wouldn’t fix the shade Wouldn’t refund me so I could go to another hotel They couldn’t have cared any less

Bianca Garabis

Booked the hotel online and they wouldn’t use the card on file so I had to spend unexpected money just to check in Then there was no hot water in the morning and the front desk girl acted like it was no big, not even an apology just told me to wait 10 min and it didn’t even come back on The man in charge did adjust the price for that but definitely was an inconvenience and over prices for no reason, don’t be fooled with their free breakfast either lol

Definitely wasted my money here and he was bothered when I asked for a receipt, like who does that lol Weird

I had a horrible expiration at Best Western Our first room was beyond filthy, I even have pictures to prove it The rooms smelled horrible and were not worth it in any capacity

I am clueless how this was reviewed and rated at over an 8 If anything, a negative 8 would gave been more appropriateSo after the disgusting room and having the inconvenience of having to change rooms and waste our vacation timeAfter we checked out, the active manager came out and literally yelled and screamed at my husband and then me while in the parking lot because we wanted to put a regular Walmart bag with 2 empty cups and a couple candy wrappers in their outside trash can At first Wayne wouldn’t even give me his name because I told him I planned to review my disappointment and dissatisfaction My husband went in to get the general managers information so we could reach out directly, but Wayne was now inside and ignored my husbandBetween the horrendous customer service and the condition of the room and hotel itself (there was spit/ flem on the floor of the elevator and just filth in general!) I wouldnt even recommend this place to be a doggy daycare! Worst hotel expiration of our lives! Be smart and chose anywhere but here

Emily Howard

The rooms were very clean and well taken care of The staff was friendly and always greeted you when you came in The housekeeping was great and always replaced our towels, toilet paper, took out the trash and made the beds

Great air conditioner as wellBreakfast is included here but we did not eat it because neither of us are breakfast people I’m sure it was good as well!We were here for 5 nights and I’m glad we chose this hotel

Heather Hagen

I had a bad experience the first time I stayed here, I only went back because it was the only hotel available that night The jacuzzi rooms here are awesome I wouldn’t stay in any other room

I definitely recommend this hotel to someone who likes to shop as there are plenty of stores all in that area of Bradenton The hotel is hidden from busy Cortez road behind a Cracker Barrel The breakfast was better than most hotels and the rooms were very clean!

We had such an amazing wedding at Wim and Meike’s bed and breakfast The venue us absolutely beautiful but they truly make the experience They were incredibly helpful during the entire experience but especially during our stay there

The breakfasts They served were amazing and beautiful to boot We would recommend this venue for a wedding or just a nice stay to anyone We are so thankful for everything they did for us and we can’t wait to go back for a weekend stay!

M L

Hands down the most beautiful wedding venue we’ve ever seen – my wife and I both looked at each other just from seeing the outside when we drove up and go YUP THIS IS IT! The inside and back area blew us away too Everyone at our wedding kept coming up to us saying how gorgeous the venue and property was It’s on the water, it’s well kept, it’s charming and so much more

Not to mention Mieke and Wim might be the nicest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting We were out of town and they made the whole process so smooth and easy Each interaction we were greeted with such kindness and eagerness to help – we were never made to feel like a burden even when we had a million questions I can only hope that people see this feedback and book this venue so they can have the memories we do! Thank you tenfold – pictures and words will never do it justice!

Joanne Andros

Our daughter, Kristi and now husband Trent found this beautiful wedding venue with a water view shortly after they were engaged in 2021 They were fortunate to be able to book it for April 3,2022 Wim and Mieke are the owners and they are very accommodating and professional

They make you feel like family with their attention to detail and just the sincere care that is given to make sure the wedding ceremony and reception are magical! It was more than magical! The weather was perfect that day, even though we rented a tent just in case You never know how quickly it can change in Florida The tent made it even cozier and the outside lights were strung also We are still ecstatic reminiscing about that day Words can not thank you enough Wim and Mieke Joanne and Tom Andros
