Highly recommend I have stayed at the Dhotel numerous times It has a little bit of everything for everyone

Pool and hot tub are well cared for Beds are super comfy Breakfast is included and always a plus But mostly the staff are very attentive, and accommodating This hotel beats any chain/corporate hotel, which is an even bigger plus to support local entrepreneurs! Will definitely be back!

The hotel property is very nice The breakfast is great- fresh food and many choices The rooms are large and comfortable

The reason for the low rating is the terrible staff The front desk called my room at 4:30 AM and woke me up to tell me my son was on the lobby and had arrived My son was sleeping in our room! When I asked about it later that day, the man said that this person had our room number so he called us to see if we were waiting for him I asked if he checked his name or his parents’ names before ringing a guest’s room He said he had not I was woken up because of incompetence When I spoke to the manager the next day he was very nonchalant He did admit that his staff needed to be trained better His attitude was not very apologetic Also- I was there for 2 nights and my room was never cleaned When I asked they said they only clean upon request I wish I had known that I had to request That should be told to guests at check in I asked why I wasn’t told and they said that most guests just know that How can I know if I’m not told The staff is poor with terrible communication with guests Although it’s a very nice hotel, because the staff is so awful, I would not go back nor would I recommend it

Clean and well maintained Staff were friendly and informative Pool and hot tub were just perfect

Breakfast was delicious Rooms were clean and provided that home feeling The only negatives would be the beds were very stiff and uncomfortable The elevator takes a long time to go from point A to point B When you exit the pool area you have to walk to the other side to use the elevator and water is noticed on the floor Sure you can put a wet floor sign down but if it isn’t picked up people will walk all over it and make mud from the dirt from the bottom of peoples shoes

Location was terrific! Check in staff were not friendly and seemed bothered Room had a non working warm refrigerator that was replaced by hotel maintenance when I complained During the exchange of refrigerators, the broken one leaked nasty water all of over the floor and rug

When I asked for another towel to dry the floor more I was questioned as to why Shower curtain would not close which sprayed water everywhere and a gap in the ceiling Very few small bath towels and even though stayed two nights, we were not provided with more Our room was adjoined to another separated by a closet locking door Thin walls and could hear neighbor with loud children trying to open their side of the door throughout the night and early hours Did not sleep well “Complimentary breakfast” was not good Hotel staff did not maintain well and when anyone asked the staff questions you were given a rude and snarky response Staff seemed to be hating their jobs Food was subpar and if you weren’t there early it ran out quickly with crowds of children being unsupervised just running around dumping things on the floor Beds and linens were comfortable and clean The check out staff person was friendly Pool was nice and clean but difficult to enjoy due to unsupervised and yelling children Probably would not stay here again Majority of the staff need customer service training

DON’T STAY HEREIt’s dirty, they’ll double charge you & it’s hell getting the hotel to refund youI don’t ever do reviews but people need to be warned

I booked through a 3rd party so no refunds available That a was a mistake The place is dirty & my family got sick You can see corners with dirt, lamps with layers of dust b/c housekeeping does the bare minimum The sanitizer in the fitness room was empty but there’s a sign to please sanitize equipment after use Housekeeping is slacking & my family left with sore throatsAlso they have a very rude front desk woman who is very unhelpful Upon checking out I told her that I was being charged for an extra night & that rude woman interrupted to say that I wasn’t b/c that was a pending charge for incidentals I informed her the pending charge was not in the amount of $50 but a specific amount like an extra night She said it’s only pending & won’t postWell, it did postI’ve been calling for over a week & keep getting the same rude woman who says that I need to speak to the manager but the manager isn’t there AND THEN hangs up on me I’m now going through my bank to get my refundI’m warning you This place isn’t worth it If you’re reading this, look for another hotel

I wish I could give more than five stars honestly We came for our daughters birthday and we’re looking for somewhere to stay because we were doing some shopping in the area I have never been so happy with a place we have stayed

We ended up not doing much shopping because we all wanted to it stay at the inn We stayed in the kinda cape room The detail and thought that went into these rooms is so apparent The beds were insanely comfortable The breakfast, oh man!, hands down the best breakfast we have ever had I will be dreaming about that breakfast! I sat and talked with the owner for a bit and she is the most kind hearted and down to earth person ever You can tell she has put her heart and soul into the inn and it truly shows We can’t wait to come back!

Anselm Beach

This was my first time staying at an actual bed and breakfast and Marci and crew did not disappoint! The rooms have different themes, are very comfortable, and you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into every detail! I did some extensive research prior to booking here, and read many reviews If you’re reading this one, you’re probably doing the same Take my word for it, the owners here are extremely accommodating, kind, and put so much effort into making everyone’s stay relaxing and memorable

So take chance! The odds are very much in your favor that you’ll have a unique and pleasant experience and meet some great people along the way!

Jacob Stinchcomb

Innkeeper is very nice and friendly and for the location, has done a very nice job of making it feel homey There is a room for all occasions! And to top the cake, the breakfast was one of the best I have had in a longtime, I should have asked for the French toast recipe 10/10 Recommend

Really close to SixFlags Way better than some big corporate hotel

Dana Hludik

The hotel didn’t have our reservation on file with the confirmation number received via Expedia We paid roughly $50 extra for a room that accommodated the # of guests in our party with a pull-out couch (not comfortable) The staff were super nice and the rooms were clean

I wish that they at the very least didn’t charge the extra money for an inadequate room The room we originally booked for two nights was available our second night and it was much more pleasant

Sammy Euston

Had no choice but to stay since we got in late and were exhausted by the drive but I’ve stayed in a good number of Hampton inns and this was by far the *worst* one! Stains everywhere, including one suspicious brown stain on the seat of the chair, bathroom had repairs done but they were awful and the tile needs new grout asap, there was still trash from previous guests in the cans, grass clippings all over so I know it wasn’t vacuumed Bed was noisy Hallways also had trash that wasn’t cleaned up

The front desk lady was very short with us Didn’t explain anything Didn’t even tell us our room number just wrote it on the key card envelop and sent us on our wayArea the hotel is in isn’t great either, parking lot had a ton of trash about including a dirty diaper that wasn’t cleaned up the next morning either Disgusting Stay anywhere else Not here

Ken Llamas-Figueroa

Stayed here for a quick overnight and I was happy to not be the one paying for the stay

The rooms were good size but nothing out of the normal I found hair in the bathroom that was from a previous guest so that didn’t instill much confidence in the cleaning The location was absolutely atrocious for me Located next to the freeway, I was able to hear all of the vehicle noise making it difficult to sleep The elevators were also extremely nerve racking to go on

The Daniel Stebbins Bed and Breakfast was one of our best experiences of places to stay while on our leaf watching adventure The home was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the home Ruth and Richard are wonderful hosts, and very accommodating to help with our schedule and suggestions of things to do in the area

Our room was very comfortable with a fireplace and super comfy bed and sheetsRuth fixed an amazing breakfast for us the next morning Everything was delicious and freshThank you, Ruth and Richard for a memorable stay!!

I stayed here for a week this summer for business I am not normally a “bed and breakfast kind of person” I like my privacy and generally keep to myself but I needed a place to stay and I am so glad that circumstances put me here

The owners have achieved a perfect blend of a genuine personalized touch with a well run professional establishment They clearly love what they do and are excellent at it The accommodations are a brief walk to the Mount Holyoke College campus and are very clean, updated and very very comfortable with central AC if that is important to you I cannot recommend this place enough I myself tend to view 5-star ratings with skepticism, but honestly, I was completely happy with my experience here Instead of just being a place to crash at the end of a long day, by the end of the week, I realized that had enriched my stay in the area

Lee Ann Sklar

My daughter and I stayed at the Daniel Stebbins House during our visit to Smith and Amherst Colleges While we live in Virginia my great aunt lived in Northampton so I am familiar with the area I wanted to share my love of history and New England with my daughter so I made reservations at a couple of bed and breakfasts after doing some research online

We couldn’t have been happier staying at the Daniel Stebbins House It is a beautiful and lovely maintained historic home and it is evident right away that Ruth and Richard not only enjoy sharing their home but the stewardship that comes with owning a historic property Josh is a talented chef and clearly loves preparing breakfast for the guests each morning Everything was served in freshly made and delicious My daughter and I had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit

It was better than I was expecting after reading other reviews The room was clean We stayed Friday and Saturday night and the biggest problem was that when we got back to the room early Saturday evening we couldn’t get into the room

Our key card had been inactivated I had to go to the office to get it reactivated I wasn’t the only one, there were 2 others in the office with the same problem I’m guessing that this is a regular occurence

Dianyarett Quinones Diaz

I was kicked out after only 3 days without being asked if I was going to stay for longer when I was planning to and could have stayed longer just because they had decided to rent the room to someone else without advising us beforehand Toiletries were very limited and not enough for two people staying for an extended amount of time either

This hotel is super outdated It needs to be completely renovated We had a problem with our plumbing in both the toilet and shower, the heating system emitted a burning smell, the ceiling entry light flickered constantly, and the electric keypad on the door was broken so we had to keep going down to the front desk

I couldn’t express my frustration to the housekeeping staff because the ones on duty didn’t speak English well I would have given 1 star but the staff was very accommodating and the manager helped us a lot I love the Marriott brand but I wouldn’t stay here at this location again until they bring this place up to code

Don Dude

Well maintained, clean, and comfortable rooms A very quiet location actually, but not far from 91 so good access Pool, gym, etc amenities, breakfast is typical mix of hot and continental

Staff is VERY helpful and pleasant All the HVAC in the rooms is in excellent working conditionParking area is a bit tight, but there is a place to park, just not the most convenient in the highway side lot areaDefinitely a great option if you want kind of a Centralized location for the Hartford/Springfield/Northampton/amherst area Not a tonne of restaurants or brewpub/taprooms nearby, but many within a 15-20 minute drive, so not bad

Jessica Medina

Easy to get to from I91 We came with young children The property was very clean! The staff were very welcoming and professional

Maid staff were respectful of personal property, we came to a clean room when we went out for the day The pool area had a shower to rinse off and clean towels Continental breakfast was pretty decent I would consider coming again!!

This hotel can’t seem to decide what it wants to be In many ways – room comfort, decor, and friendly staff – it is more than a 3-star hotel But then as a guest you see room service plates on the floor from the night before long into the day, random food like potato pieces on the floor in the hallways, and experience shaky elevators that clearly need to be updated

Definitely a mixed bag, but we’ve stayed here twice and would do so again I’d just like to see a few more improvements

victoria hall

The building looks nice, the pool is nice and so are the rooms Staff were all very pleasant The reason for only 1 star is because I couldn’t get any sleep

All that covered the bed was a couple of thin sheets It was a snowstorm And very cold, all we had was just some thin sheets on the bed My room had an adjoining room with some sort of bachelor party happening When we went to the pool we waited forever for towels and were stuck at the pool without tows to be able to get out The whole time I was there I was cold

Luke Perczak

There’s a sense the 90’s haven’t left the hotel Let’s be honest, barely 2 elevators working but what’s worse is the black mold in the supply vents in the rooms So if you think you have an allergy reaction it’s not pollen

Our friends room had mold as well, so I assume it will be in majority of the hotel Bathroom has no powered ventilation The open concept of all the hallways inside makes this place noisyThis place needs more than bleach cleaning If you like nostalgia from the 90’s this place is for you

My room was neat and clean, and the staff was super helpful and personable! The morning breakfast waitress, Lake, was super nice and on top of her orders and kept our cups full! The location was easy for me to get to after a long drive, and since I typically like to Stat at Hilton hotels, the team here only reinforces my choice! I didn’t make use of the gym this time around, but definitely got in soe pool time in both the pool and the hot tub! This made for a good night’s sleep!

Kate

My stay was okay, I was expecting more from a hotel with such an expensive nightly rate The rooms were mostly clean And I liked the pool and hot tub

The hotel itself is very pretty Although I do feel that the rooms themselves are outdated The beds are NOT comfortable The sheets and pillows are wonderful, but the mattress hurt my back and it was very rigid and thin Bathroom was standard Ceilings peeling a bit Ect It served its purpose but I won’t be coming back to this location

Samuel Leroy-Melamed

Uh Fairly mediocre accommodations, to be honest There didn’t appear to be a fan in the bathroom, so that was kind of a bummer

The staff was mostly reasonable It was frustrating that a free breakfast option wasn’t available, but I understand that that’s not an individual hotel’s decision, usuallyThe proximity to the Hall of Fame was great Reasonable enough proximity to the casino, though there are certainly other hotels that are closerParking was easy, so there’s that

We stayed here and blocked off rooms for family and friends for our wedding weekend It was the best hotel experience any of us ever had Tamika (the manager) would bend over backwards for you and all the maintenance workers were right there offering to help with anything

They set up pull out beds for bridesmaids to all be in one room, Gabe set up a wedding website for us to use on the invites so everyone had ease booking the rooms, the breakfasts were free and delicious, maids cleaned rooms first so people could check in early and get to our wedding rehearsal Everything was perfect They made our very busy weekend and our first night as husband and wife so easy and magical!

Justin Loughman

We chose this location due to proximity of Six Flags Very simple easy stress free ride to the park within 15 minutes The entire staff was very helpful and attentive to the details, always observed diligently cleaning all day

Every interaction at the front desk was efficient and pleasant The entire staff deserves recognition for ask the hard work noticed Upgraded and extended our stay because we enjoyed the location Also surrounded by food options, cinema half mile away We already have planned our next stay in a few weeks

ASC Professional Handling

Good rooms Service is below average Called down for extra blanket never received it

Called next night and got it awhile later On our 3rd day we are allowed to have the room cleaned We requested and it was never done Service was nothing better than red roof If you wanna pay the extra money for nicer hotel and service I suggest Marriott in Enfield One exit from this Hampton inn Had to stay here since it was full for the week

I love this hotel! It’s conveniently located, and there is ample parkingIt is impeccably clean and I appreciate that the facility is entirely non-smokingCheck-in went super-fast, and staff is engaged, polite, and genuinely helpful

My room feels spacious The bed is comfortable The shower has decent water pressure and there was plenty of hot water The room and the hotel overall are quiet, and there’s not much noise from the parking lot area There is a bit of noise from traffic on the turnpike but I can only hear with the window open, and even then it’s barely noticeableThe air conditioner silently pushes out cold air even with the fan on high, the fridge also runs very quietly All the appliances in my room are in nearly new, great conditionI would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again

Chris Haddock

Plain Jane HIE Clean rooms and halls Comfortable beds

Quiet Small but nice pool Very little service No coffee or tea out beyond breakfast Breakfast really ends an hour before it’s supposed to They start shutting things off at 9am If something runs our nor replaced unless you make a stink The staff watches you like a hawk instead of cleaning or refilling things Makes you feel like you are being watched and rushed No store or place to get anything beyond vending machines Only one ice machine in the whole hotel

andrea green

If you’re black and stay here please be cautious because they(the manager and some of the staff) really don’t want you there You’re black/African American presence is an issue for them and all it takes is for one white guest to complain about you before they ensure they go out of their way to call the police or do something to tarnish your character They will smile in your face but will quickly do something shady behind your back and laugh in your face as their doing it

Not nearly clean and well-kept enough for the price Shower curtain was too long and stained; towels looked liked someone had handled them hastily; pillows didn’t smell too fresh; no plastic ice bag (I use them for covering remotes), among other issuesThe lobby staff were amicable and there was a small 5-pack of alcohol wipes in the room, which was cool, but I would not stay here again

Amy Wayman

Staff is great Suite is very clean and comfortable The only complaint I have is you hear EVERYTHING

Our ‘neighbors’ decided to party into the early morning hours with absolutely no regard for others Very loud in the hall, people trying to get into the party room knocking loudly on the door because the music and people inside were very loud I’m all for having a party but not if your neighbors are being disturbed

Silvia Lollin

Horrifying loud squeaky elevator, smelly carpet, dirty countertop… worst of all: a bad quality frying pan that cut my thumb bleeding with its sharp lump inside…Just a very terrible stay for me

My stay was due to an emergency situation My parents were involved in a pretty bad accident while in Massachusetts for the day The were brought to a trauma center where they both needed surgery and had to stay almost a week

This hotel it’s manager and staff went above and beyond trying to accommodate me and my parents friends who came straight there as well to help I can’t express enough the gratitude me and my family felt for their consideration, kindness and hospitality My family and I plan to return to this hotel as soon as we can to thank them again Besides all of this it’s a great place to stay The bistro and its chef are fantastic and the place was clean with many accommodations I would highly recommend

The air conditioning barely worked in our room, which was for the hearing impaired because they were low on standard rooms We arrived in the room around 1pm and the temperature was in the 80s We turned the A/C on full blast and maintenance came up and verified it was working

But by that evening it had only cooled to 75 even though set to 66 making it uncomfortable to sleep By the next afternoon (36 hours after arrival) it had finally reached 70/71 so we did not end up switching rooms given the associated hassle The issue seems structural with the room because the A/C unit is under a table blowing into the table The bathroom drain was broken and the water pressure in the sink was almost non-existent They also inexplicably have a “no rollaway bed” policy which would have made the room a lot more comfortable for our family of four Most of the staff were nice though

Worst hotel experience in my life I am willing to bet my last dollar the most of the 5 star reviews on this page are fakeThings they won’t tell you before you book: Indoor pool has a 5 person limit (and time slots were booked our entire stay)

Elevator out of service the entire stay Thermostat out of service the entire stay No microwave in the room The hotel is dingy, it looks nice in their pictures but trust me, this place is like a renovated Super 8 that had lipstick thrown on the pigStaff was rude from the beginning They lied and said there were no rooms available for early check-in until other families from our group arrived with our kids and were making noise in the lobby Then, magically, dozens of rooms opened up After that, the guy at the front desk decided to make his own rule that kids weren’t allowed to be in the hotel common areas without an adult We were treated like prisoners by the staff the entire stayAlso, don’t eat the breakfast My son waited an hour for cold pancakes When we told the worker that they forgot the bacon, he did apologize and return with his bare hand full of cold crumbled up bacon which I declined

We had a 3 night stay at Candlewood Suites The room was very decently sized, clean and all the appliances worked great The staff was friendly and explained where everything was

The store area across from the front desk had plenty of food, snacks and games and appliances you could buy or borrow The food prices were really good There’s a gas station and a few restaurants within walking distance It was a very nice stay! Highly recommended

The check in was smooth and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful The room was clean and in good shape It had been modernized, but still had some older features

The closet door didn’t latch and there were just 3M hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels The shampoo/shower gel dispenser had at some point fallen off the wall in the tub, and was just sitting on the vanity in the bathroom; the tape was still there in the tub The HVAC was loud and the wall thermostat didn’t work (even though the controls indicated to use that one) A clever little fan was provided to move air into the bedroom — it worked well The ice maker worked and the dishes were clean The hotel is dog-friendly, and our dog was very comfortable

I reserved a room for 8/5-8/7 and tested positive for Covid 8/1 As a responsible adult, I cancelled my reservation as to not spread the illness Because of this, I lost almost $500 due to their garbage cancellation policy that required a cancellation before 7/29

I would recommend staying at literally any other hotel that does not employ predatory cancellation “policies” during an unpredictable pandemic

Floating dirt in the hot tub (not the first time I saw this during a visit) and someone from maintenance put too much Epsom salt in the pool so the pool area was closed for most of my stay This upset me because the hot tub was the main reason I came to the comfort inn Also, there’s weird brown stuff in the toilet and the ceilings are developing brown stains

However, the bed was comfy, the coffee is unlimited, and the people at the front desk are pleasant to talk to Not the best stay, but certainly could have been worse

The Double queen bed suite has all the amenities of home away from home at a very affordable price! Full kitchen with utensils, spacious living area and pristine bathroomThe pool, hot tub, and gym are great for those looking to burn some calories, have a little fun, or just soak and relax! The daily breakfast is delicious and served from 6am to 10am The staff is helpful, kind and welcoming at all times of day

The location is perfect for anything in western mass, conveniently located off 91 and 90 Many restaurants and shops located within a mile Definitely would stay again and recommend to anyone needing to be in the area

Do not recommend No wifi connection at all Ciggarette burns in the room on curtains

Also While checking in to the motel the cleaning ladies wouldn’t move, blocking the entrance That was amazing Not sure if there was mold or toothpaste on the bathroom door knob but yeah… wall outlets had things stuck inside of them… you tell me how my stay was ☺️
