Lena was such a pleasant face to see at check in and the whole time we were the She is so friendly and welcoming! I don’t know if she’s the manager but she should be! Our rooms were nice, beds pretty comfortable the only the only thing I would improve on would be the toiletries offered the bottles are so small they are used up in one setting Might want update to the ones self pump ones in the showers

Overall we had a great stay as we transitioned from moving out of one house and then, waiting to move into a new home

Elvia Eden

Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the clerk We were checked in quicklyThe hotel was clean

The room was clean However, the beds were quite uncomfortable The mattress was hard The pillows on the queen sized bed where the size of slightly oversized throw pillows We asked for another blanket the night we arrived and were provided with a foamy looking, scratchy “blanket,” if it can be called thatThis hotels does allow pets, dogs could be heard barking late into the night Also, this hotel was not particularly quiet We could hear everyone in the rooms next door, doors closing were extremely loudPool area was lacking, the two times my family went down to swim we had to ask for towels The pool had a green tinge to the bottom of it Pool was heavily chlorinated So, much so that it caused my 4 year old and a few other of my families kiddos to break out in a rash on their face The kids enjoyed it none the lessThe free breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, cereal – Cheerios and Froot Loops, granola, two kinds of yogurt, and mini muffinsBreakfast on Saturday and Sunday is until 10am Weekdays it is available until 9amCheck out time we were told was 11am when we booked So we rushed around to get out on time, then when we checked out, our receipt stated check out was at noonTl;Dr: clean hotel, nice people, uncomfortable beds, loud at times, pool lacking, free breakfast just okay

mary jenkins

Enjoyed our 1 night stay They had hot breakfast, it wasn’t gourmet or anything but pretty enjoyable They had cheese omelet, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, cold (cheerios etc

) and hot (oatmeal etc) cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, and hard boiled eggsOur room was perfect No complaints from us The location is close to everything

Great experience for our first time! Check in was a breeze and the employees were so friendly and helpful The hotel is very well decorated and small details did not go unnoticed We loved the “worms” in our bed 😜🐛 the breakfast area was small but nice and we started the day with a good breakfast

The pool was a little smaller than we had hoped and was packed especially with the hot tub being closed I did notice a decent workout room The rooms were cute and comfortable The bed sheets were a little noisy and crinkly sounding There was a slight odor in the room but nothing too terrible It was the perfect place to stay for our visit across the street to the Bass pro shops aquarium and museum It would be really nice to have a crosswalk connecting the lodge and the store across the street We had to run across four lanes of traffic with small kids I would definitely recommend staying here! Nice, affordable, clean, good service We will be back!

Rick Murphy

First time staying here was a great one The staff was pleasant and nice They was very helpful

I was paying with gift cards and the young lady (Kalyn) was nice and patient when there was a line to check in behind me She made sure as soon as we got there that our stay was going to be a good one My family had 2 adjoining rooms which was nice It was decorated nicely The place was clean and beds comfortable Breakfast was above average than most places I have stayed We will definitely stay again

Matthew Barnett

It was a pretty nice stay Staff was very nice Room could have been just a little bit cleaner

Didn’t really get much sleep, the neighbors were up all night, but that’s not really the staffs fault I guess they probably could start putting adults only rooms on the top floor, like they do at the Marriott Probably gonna airbnb a house next trip for less noise, but overall they done a good job

Carla Shelby

Mary Kay ladies stayed here for convention They had classroom space available for our very large group, and it was located across from the Expo Center where the main event was located The restaurant had a great breakfast bar, and did a great job keeping up with the demands of hundreds of women! The rooms were nice, clean

I was especially grateful for the shuttle because some in our group were disabled and couldn’t walk back and forth from the Expo Center I didn’t like waiting for 30 minutes or more in line to use the only 2 elevators in the hotel, but I’m told that’s mostly due to the high number of ladies arriving/leaving all at the same time Overall, it was a great place to rest and refresh while being in a fun but exhausting event!

Anton Perreau

Probably one of the better hotels in town Plenty of parking, lobby is spacious and functional Hotel staff are well trained, friendly and know how to treat a guest

The rooms are SPACIOUS and the beds are super comfortable A/c temperature needs a little tweaking to be accurate, but that didn’t ruin our stay at allLobby could do with a lipstick remodel, but wasn’t ugly and didn’t feel any more like a time-warp than the rest of this part of America (lol)If you’re in town and need a place to stay, I’d recommend this place!

Caleigh Knight

Honestly if the conference wasn’t held here, I would never book here Rooms are decent size but nothing feels clean The rooms are also hot because the AC sucks and is just one tiny vent at the top of the wall

You can tell they don’t wash the comforters There were a few stains and they just felt old and dirty You only get 3 pillows per bed so if there’s more than one person per bed have fun with that Oh and yeah No fridge or microwave whatsoever So forget bringing back leftovers Also the outdoor pool has so much leaves and dirt built up along the sides it just felt gross Oh and to top matters off we found one plug in behind the TV and two more in one outlet if you unplug one of the lamps And they arent nice laps with the built in plug ins or anything so no luck there Would not recommend at all

I just have to say that this staff and hotel were great They were very accommodating when my son had emergency surgery and we need a place to stay The staff went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed to make his stay more comfortable while there with us

Becca was AMAZING!!!!!! The hotel was very clean and quiet Food was good and had good selection for breakfast I just can’t really say enough about every single staff member and the owner who came in on Easter to give his employees a break Fantastic and would stay there again anytime I’m in the area Thanks to allapplause

B E

The room was clean but the curtains would not stay shut The guests staying above my families room were very loud at 10pm I mentioned it to the front desk and the lady said she would take care of it

The noise got louder and continued so I let front desk know again After the 3rd or 4th time the lady said she could move my family and I to another room I was not happy with that as we were already in bed trying to sleep I asked her to move the people upstairs as they were already wide awake She said because they had been there longer she could move us So if you are only staying one or two nights just know you are not prioritized or made to feel like you matter The noise did finally stop after some time but the whole ordeal made the stay miserable We were also told that the pool was 85 degrees it was no where near that, felt like ice water Would not recommend this hotel Spend the extra little bit and go to a nicer hotel

Belen Pulido

Staff were great, friendly, fast check in Place/room/pool was clean, room smelled freshly cleaned, pool had a high strong smell of chlorine, more than usual which was uncomfortable we didn’t stay long Reason for the 3 stars is this is a BW Plus and it needs some big renovations for the price point

Everything is outdated, there were tears on the bed frame, the a/c unit never cooled the room, the bathroom was terribly compact couldn’t close the bathroom door without cramming yourself in a corner It took force to close and open the door

This is the best little gem of hotel The staff are kind and do a great job The hotel is perfectly clean everywhere

The bed and pillows are all comfy But here’s the best part: I had to make an unexpected emergency trip while almost full term with a very big baby The long drive had me contracting and I was not in great shape when I arrived close to midnight Luckily, just getting out and into the CLEAN tub calmed everything down When my BF enquired about late checkout for me in the morning, and explained the situation, they gave me a ridiculously long time to recover from the drive and rest before I had to leave the room ❤️ Absolutely made the difference between a bearable ride home or pure torture Thank you so much, Candlewood!!!!

Our stay was everything Me & my husband were in town for 4 days and we loved it Our room was clean, all of the staff were super nice,(night and day staff) and the location was center to everything

Mall/food spots/not far from downtown The rooms had a sexy romantic feeling to it Breakfast was okay (warmed up burrito) but we went out to breakfast most mornings so that didn’t really matter Anyway, 5 star will come back and stay and recommend to others

Joanna Obuzor

The room was small and poorly designed There wasn’t a place to put my suitcase I ended up putting it on the only chair in the room

This half blocked the walkway to the window and it kept almost fallingThe rain shower was a lovely fixture but the shower was too smallThere wasn’t a nightstand I charge my phone at night and use it as an alarm I had to balance it on the headboardFront desk service was exceptional!

Susan Hofer

First time staying here First impression was good Helpful staff at check-in

Bed was very soft and a little low which made it a little difficult to get out of Discovered comforter on bed was dirty Front desk was helpful but no clean comforters were available Complimentary ear plugs are provided because street noise can be quite loud Bathroom was clean Not sure I can recommend and doubt I’ll stay here again

Right off the highway it was a perfect stop for the night on the way from Oklahoma to Illinois Has a nice little pool open 24 hours Breakfast was scrambled eggs, instant oatmeal, sausage, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, and 2 choices of cereal ( raised bran and lucky charms type cereal ), orange juice, apple juice and coffee

Bed was comfortable and AC was very cold

Stephanie Cassin

What awfully filthy rooms Never have I stayed in a establishment so dirty that I had to personally go to the nearby Walmart, buy my own cleaning products just so I can scrub the bathroom down with bleach and disinfect every surface in this room I also had to buy my own sheets to dress up the bed because the sheets were stained and the housekeeping team is just not doing a good job

Had a nice one-night stay here with my wife and children while passing through town We had a two-bedroom suite which was nice and spacious There were copious outlets for charging appliances and gadgets

The breakfast was quite nice for a “free” breakfast and certainly made getting the day started a lot quicker Staff were pleasant and the place was clean overall The gym was small but functional

Jake Moyer

I stayed in this hotel for 3 months with my wife, 1, 12, 13 year old and a big dog We ordered the sweet so that we would have a stove and could cook which was really handy They were highly negotiable on the price if you want to stay long term

Everything in the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly always and always at the front desk In three months I never once did not see someone attending the front desk The cleaning staff was exceptionally good, they respect your privacy while being on top of things There is a nice gym, outdoor pool, basketball and tennis court, And there is a gas station/McDonald’s a half a block away and a Wallgreens a couple blocks away I would highly recommend this place, especially over the place next to it!

Tony Ezell

Rooms are in dire need of updating, stayed 3 nights , in a different room all 3 nights, all were maintenance issues, although the housekeeping department could use some professional training For a hotel this size and being in one of our nation’s top tourist city’s, you would think the owner or owners would want better reviews and more return patrons, but it is very obvious, these owners are in it strictly for their pockets They definitely won’t have to worry about me or mine ever returning

I’ve stayed at this location twice now, and both times have been great! The rooms were immaculate especially for a hotel that allows pets The atmosphere was welcoming, quiet and calm It’s hard to find a quality pet friendly hotel, and this one exceeded my expectations

I highly recommend this location, and will return when I’m in the area again

Kiki Fish

Very nice staff, though booking for a convention was a bit of an ordeal and I had to locate another employee the next day to book Mostly quiet location with clean rooms The shuttle was called for in advance and it still was an hour late to pick me up at the airport

The ride back to the airport was also late and I had also scheduled it the previous day, so plan for this I wasn’t mad about it, just disappointed Like many businesses they are operating on a skeleton crew and doing their very best to provide amenities The housekeeping was also the driver, she was polite, personable and was working hard Breakfast was much appreciated and well put together Even though I left before breakfast was served, they still had bagles, coffee and such available for early morning commuters I would recommend this hotel again Just be patient, everyone is doing their best given the times

First! The area is really sketchy! I seen a crack head roaming around in the parking lot talking to himself in the middle of the daySecond! They charged me $25 for 2 missing shampoo bottles that I didn’t steal and for a broken soap dispenser that i didn’t break I’ve been a IHG member for many many years and never once have I been falsely accused of actions like this

If you don’t believe me about the sketchy area then ask them about not renting any rooms to anyone living within a 50 mile radius around them

Charlie Wilkinson

Was horrible first night was ok we left went to Branson came back could not get in our room went to the front desk they said we could no longer stay after not being there all day the person at the front desk said someone had been smoking in the room I explained we had not been there they could look at the cameras told them I don’t even smoke I asked the manager if there was cigarette butts or anything in the room she had said no they could just smell smoke so to sum it up I got charged for the night and a smoking fee when the had no proof of anything so for $266 dollars didn’t even get to stay would not recommend to anyone

Wifi doesn’t work as it should; very slow and unable to get a connection The hotel needs an overhaul, good cleaning, and an overall update I will definitely look at other options for my next stay but may come back given the close proximity to the airport

These motels have a charm to themselves compared to the corporate hotelsThis is another Route 66 motels from days hone byEasy to get to

Helpful friendly staff Comfortable big roomsUsual amenities in the rooms Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, TV EctReasonably pricedPlease note there is a lot of noise from the traffic on the main road but it does settle down later through the night

Servant of the King

Honestly I was so surprised to enjoy this place as much as I did The bed was by far the most comfortable I have ever slept on! It was a smaller room than expected, but enough for my need I really liked the bathroom, the tub was bigger than most (taller and wider) and the little shelf above the sink was needed! First place to have enough hot water to last

The microwave and fridge are in the “closet” space, so it worked

Amanda Berry

We stayed in the family suite The room was large, and the kids enjoyed their own room and TV There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel like we were crammed together

The kids loved it more than staying at the more costly placesThe room was clean except I did find a rogue green grape hiding next to the bed 😆 Other than the feral fruit, the space was very clean Not even dust behind the doorsKeep in mind this place is a older placeThe wifi was fast, the television was a flat screen with direct TVThe beds are a bit stiff but the pillows were super soft Surprisingly quite in the rooms considering where it’s locatedWe were never bothered by the trafficThe breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any stayThe menu is biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, there was waffles you could make yourself, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and jelly, juice, they have coffee, and even a coffee machine that has multiple choices of cappuccino, mocha, and many moreWe didn’t get to check out the pool areaI would absolutely recommend this place! You can not beat the price for what you receive Between the history, the rooms, the staff, and the breakfast you can’t find a better place

Nice full sized beds, clean room, very friendly staff Even during construction/remodeling of the roof I heard no noise and had no complaints Slept like a baby

The only weird thing was the toilet and shower are behind a separate door while the sink is in the bedroom with you, but the door is a sliding pocket door instead of a regular hinge door so that was a little weird Also, the shower isn’t a normal shower It’s a curve capsule type thing, not a normal stall The walls are a curved, but it’s bigger than it originally looks after you open the glass shower door Just don’t expect any of your shower stuff to stay on the shower shelf because it is also curved so everything slides off Indoor pool was heated and felt great! Also had a jacuzzi which was nice and hot Pool has a deep end of only 5 feet and for someone short like me, that was nice Overall, would stay at again

We had an impromptu stay for my birthday My wife and I were without kids for the evening We had to pay a 250

00 deposit for the room because we were local I think it’s a silly policy, but they were one of the only hotels in Springfield that would even rent a room to someone who lives locallyif it wasn’t for that policy, I would have given a higher rating Staff was great and room was clean and invitingrating is not a reflection of the property or staff, just the silly deposit policythey said it is because locals have trashed the rooms previously, but anyone from anywhere could do that, so doesn’t make sense to me They say the deposit gets returned in 2 to 10 days

We like to stay in the Drury Inn Motels Have always had a good experience when we stay The beds are wonderful

Nice to be able to get a good night’s sleep when we are traveling The food is good Just wish they gave you more of a choice If you’re staying more the 1 night you usually get the same thing multiple days Staff is always friendly Room was clean

The staff are very friendly Rooms are clean The fitness center is small but the minimum is there that I needed; treadmill with TV

I like the idea of a free breakfast and dinner for the family Breakfast isn’t bad It’s pretty standard and hard to mess up Dinner on the other hand was pretty terrible The first night we suffered through it but the second night we opted to go out somewhere and pay for dinner instead The 3 free drinks is a nice perk, too although it would be nice to extend longer than an hour and a half Needs updating but all in all, pretty good

I stayed here with my dog It is right near the interstate highway which is Interstate 44 It has a free breakfast as well as a free dinner

That is great because, after a long day of traveling you want to relax The staff is terrific and helpful It is a bit out of date Be aware that there is a pet fee to bring your dog You have follow some simple rules when you bring your dog
