Woodland is an amazing place to stay Hotel staff is great Actual room…

not greatWoodland is a great little town! We were so happy we picked to stay here Five stars for Woodland Super friendly people everywhere we wentHotel staff Five stars I called to see if we could check in early with a travel weary kid Staff was great and found us a room that was ready Extremely friendly when we checked in Always willing to helpI’d give the actual room 3 stars It is a Best Western so I’m not expecting too much But compared to other Best Westerns…not great The walls were very thin We turned white noise on all night because we could hear the next room’s TV I could hear people come in and out the exterior door Very uncomfortable mattress The pull out sofa had a mattress that wouldn’t lie flat We had to slide the kid to the bottom for a reasonable position The bathroom door couldn’t close all the way No fan in the bathroomDecent pool

Christena

We were there for a wedding so we didn’t stay in the hotel much The staff was friendly my husband really appreciated the coffee in the main foyer, room was spacious and beautiful

Well cleaned and stocked The mirrors were large and classy looking in my opinion The only downfall came to the bed No real pillows just a bunch of throw pillows – eh it worked Mattress felt very compressed and was not comfortable at all The blanket was very thin and there was NO COMFORTER Literally, sheet, think blanket, sheet Was so cold and did not get a good night sleep

Charlaine Serge

If I could give them 0 stars I would! This place was an absolute dump!! We were in town for a concert so they jacked up the price to $250 which our room wasn’t even worth $50 Our room smelled like cigarettes and it had huge spiders in our bathroom The girl who checked us in was extremely rude to us and the people in front of us

I will never give best western my money ever again!

Normally I have loves the rooms I get Our last room the door to the bathroom hit the toilet seat and the sheets had a hole, but I have stayed here numerous occasions and all other times it has been greatEasy access of I5

Staff is nice and helpful The pool is conveniently located And there is a nice safe spot to take out dog potty Cameras all over parking area I have felt safe each time I stay

Rachel Kyniston

Front staff person was very courteous, and friendly Room was clean, and quiet, but that could be because it was a Wednesday night Some, minor, deferred maintenance needed, but nothing drastic

Beds were, for the most part, comfortable, but one bed was softer than the other which I thought was odd, but still happy because there was a soft bed to choose from Pool was nice Breakfast was, actually, pretty good! Would stay here again

Rachel C

I wanted to let people know the truth I am very unhappy with my stay there The room was a good size, shower was nice

Not as clean as I hopedThe most disappointing part of my stay was I got bit up by some kind of insect in the bed I couldn’t sleep right Very diappointed and sad because I was told it was a clean hotel 🙁 I will never stay there again Gonna ask for some kind of adjustmentI hope they can at least do that for meHave a blessed day!

This is now my go to hotel when I’m in town visiting my kids The service and workers were FANTASTIC!! In fact, they are the very reason I will go here exclusively Plus, the cost was VERY reasonable

My kids, grandkids, and I loved the swimming pool and hot tub This was the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had at a hotel I HIGHLY recommend Quality Inn Salmon Creek over any other hotels in the area But make sure you go to the one in Salmon Creek I cannot speak for other Quality Inn’s in the area

Chelan Humenny

It’s the cheapest in the area for a reason We were in town for one night to attend a wedding and just needed a place to sleep My boyfriend booked it because it had good reviews and I didn’t think to look at the hotel he chose before going

Upon arrival, I realized we’d be staying at an outdated, dingy place so I had low expectations From the lobby to the room, it was rough Old furniture and carpet, cheap finishes, unattractive bedding and blinds Oh well, it’s an inn But what I didn’t expect was to find someone’s DIRTY UNDERWEAR?! We spent about 5 minutes in the room after arriving to change before heading to the wedding, and when I was looking in the entry mirror the reflection revealed something colorful up on the shelf above the hanging rack I got closer and, sure enough, a pile of dirty underwear was there Nasty First and last time staying at an inn for me

Samantha Gorman

Staff was very kind Rooms were nice and clean a little dark (lack or lighting) the upstairs upon arriving smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, after letting the front desk staff know they sprayed air freshener but it was strong enough that my husband ended up opening both windows in the hallway upstairs to air it outPool and spa are closed due to some sort of work

The parking lot is a pain to get into, you have to make a u-turn if your coming from south up 205

This place grew on us While the nearby homeless issue was a turnoff, we quickly adjusted our attitude and came to look on the bright side (mind you–we live in LA and are accustomed to seeing people living on the street) Our room was clean and tidy

The gym/ fitness center is adequate, although two machines were inoperable The breakfast is above average There is a nearby Wal Mart where you can stock up on food/ supplies I would describe this as a working class hotel that won’t brake the bank

Chris Wilhelm

Only 1 desk agent and a long line of botched up reservations in front of me meant a 50 minute wait to get checked in and get my key Hotel is kind of dingy even though it was recently remodeled The immediately surrounding neighborhood is straight overrun with houseless individuals, and theft of everything from anywhere

The hotel employs security to patrol the parking lot so I feel vehicles are safer now than in the past On a previous stay the window of my coworkers truck was busted out and nothing was stolen because everything was brought inside, as one would do in this neighborhood

Jake Hubbard

Nothing negative to say about the cleaning staff, but the front desk and management are very toxic to their own employees and coworkers People have been fired from there for speaking up about it We do not recommend staying here, but if you do, make sure your cleaning staff is tipped directly and don’t let employee abuse you witness slide without reporting it to corporate or mentioning it in your own review

Real irritated by this place My card is on file and when we pay for the room they keep sending a preauthorization on my card and keep overdraft in my bank account It’s currently negative $107

10 This is the FOURTH time this has happened to my bank through the hotel The lady in the office isn’t trained well enough that she keeps messing up my bank I had to call my bank and they wanted to know how this lady was able to do this when my card is set up so that it can’t overdraft They told me not to use my card with them anymore because they are mismanaged This is going on day #4 and my bank is still showing its negative I am a responsible person and have NEVER had my bank account in a negative balance So this is a very big deal Don’t put any of your cards on file unless you want you bank to be messed up

Samantha Gorman

Booked a accessible room due to recently having back surgery and was placed in upstairs room Room was clean The kitchen stove didnt heat up really to be able to cook anything within a decent amount of time or really completely

Very clean and modern looking hotel Rooms were large and comfortable AC worked great

No ice machine on the 2nd floor that I could find, but that was a minor inconvenience, but inconsequential in my opinion I worry more about cleanliness and comfort Check in was easy and checkout was a simple key drop Breakfast was good with a lot of options to choose from

Erin Mehaffy

I stayed here once in June 2018 and it was a great experience for me and my children Everyone was super nice and helpful! I have never done an online booking for a hotel so I called to see if I could make a reservation over the phone for next month and pay as well I spoke with Brooklyn today and her customer service was outstanding! With my permission, she made my online booking reservation for me (I tend to mess stuff like that up so I was not comfortable doing it and thats why I called to do it over the phone) She was so helpful and got my 2 night visit booked for next month for my kids birthday parties! In my experience most motels would not do that for you

She really went above and beyond today to help me! Thank you Brooklyn!!

Good value for the money, the room was clean, the front desk gentleman was friendly and efficient I had a trailer behind my truck, and it was very convenient to have a large parking lot right beside the hotel The dogs enjoyed running in the field at the back of the hotel

I was a bit hesitant at first to take the road to the hotel, as it appeared at first to be just an on-ramp for the I-5, but I should have believed my navigation system! It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but I was able to boil water in the microwave and make a cup of tea

Beth

Used my free points for a out of town get away Wish I would have spend it elsewhere

Although the front desk lady was nice And the rooms look nice the bed was very uncomfortable definitely needs a new mattress the little tiny discs that they give you for soap are useless The constant noise of people and cars wrapping there Mufflers thru the parking lot are annoying And the fact that at 8:45am I was getting a knock on my door for maid service thank goodness I had the security latch on and not 15 minutes later I had another made trying to come incheck out was it 11 am not 8:45am

Nice place I am familiar with this chain and use them often They are reliably clean and comfortable at a reasonable price

This location, at least our room 201, needed some inspection and fixes The smoke detector was gone and just wires hanging from the ceiling Most of the electric outlets allowed a lot of play on the plugs, making them wiggly and not reliably work We had to move the coffee maker to the desk to get it to work We only had soft pillows on the bed My experience is firm and soft, they are even labeled We didn’t ask about it as we got in really late from our event that we were staying for and hadn’t noticed until we were climbing into bed Will return and continue using this chain, but be a little more vigilant and firm about my expectations This location seemed to be a one off from the others that I have stayed at

We booked the executive double queen room and we were pleasantly surprised The room was the perfect size for us The pool was clean and the hot tub worked well

The lobby was very clean and also super cozy with seating and a nice fireplaceThe staff was super friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond! They got us water and extra pillows without hesitation, (I’m pregnant and need all the pillows)Our daughter left her most special stuffy in our room after we checked out and drove almost 8 hours home I called the following day and the GM Diane eagerly worked with us to get it shipped back to our home!! She was so helpful and kind We recommend this hotel 10/10 Would stay again without question, if we travel back to this area!

Matt McGill

Had a great stay here Excellent interactions with front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crewBlocked out group of rooms, front desk super helpful with logistics

Housekeeping kept us stocked with extra towels after all the pool timeStandout was Kimberly from the kitchen staff We’re stayed at several Holiday Inns with same breakfast buffet, but none with someone who cared so much about the guest, from friendly greetings to always refilling what’s needed at the perfect timeOur dance company had to leave for competition before breakfast opened, and Kimberly packed to-go bags for all the kids Above and beyond, can’t recommend moreGreat location and pool was good too!!

We booked a king room for my daughter but she got sick and could not fly, so we decided to stay there with my grandson The hotel was able to change our room from a king to two queen beds with no extra charge The room was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable

It was hot and the AC worked great Check in was easy and the staff was friendly Breakfast was bacon, eggs, waffles, lots to choose from and all very good Good coffee too so we never went to the Dutch Brothers right next door The pool and hot tub were clean and my grandson really enjoyed swimming in the pool We had no complaints and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in Battleground

The room lighting and bathroom lighting were bad The bathroom has very dim LED lighting that makes it impossible to see anything in the mirror It felt like we were in a dim nightclub

The room lighting was also dim Why can’t they provide adequate lighting? Maybe they’re only catering to people wanting a romantic encounter? It’s Not family friendly We visit the area 2 – 3 times a year It was such a turn off, we will Not returnI talked to the hotel and yes, this bathroom lighting is in ALL of the rooms We were booked there for 2 nights last year and then STUCK It’s impossible to find another hotel at the last minute unless you want to spend a lot more moneyThe bathroom lighting was such a turn off, we were reluctant to stay in any Best Western until this week when we stayed in another city Fortunately, that hotel had traditional lightingAnother issue there was getting a luggage cart to check out because they only had two carts FYI, there are several hotels a few miles away and will stay there in the future

Ryan Dunn

Booking fooled us… We thought it was gonna be a nice couple room with jacuzzi, We open door and NOT… We get a great room for a single traveler only 3 small pillows one recliner, could have locked myself in my bedroom a lot cheaper 😡On a god noteThe Clerk at desk was super nice, and mirror in bathroom is fancy

Best ‘mobility’ room I’ve had out of the last four hotels I’ve stayed at Everything was accessible except for the iron (my chair has a feature most don’t, a lift, so I was able to reach it) which could easily be grabbed by someone else Hotel staff was polite, accommodating and a pleasure to interact with

Rings were sparkling clean, needs were very comfy I will stay here again and trust Best Western to be able to meet my ‘mobility’ needs

I’m currently staying here for work as I’m a traveling nurse The rooms are clean and very nice not to mention the beds are clean and comfortable and the staff are amazing ! breakfast is always hot and so yummy

BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF <3 thank you Alexis for your help with finding everything near me Johnathon was amazing helping me when my computer wouldn't connect Wendy made sure my housekeeping was on my days off because i work nights thank you all for making this a very welcoming stay I'm forever a best western customer

This hotel almost ruined our vacationSo much drama was added because we were out in a room that smelled Thankfully Roberta, the housekeeping manager stepped in and saved the day

She came to the room to clean the carpet, which was the cause of the smell Immediately offered to move us to a different room This review would be very different otherwiseThe pool is out of service, which was the main reason we booked here, when we called to check hours we were told it was out and we could not have refund We later found out they had passes to another pool, which would have ended our frustration before it began; if they had been offeredWe are STILL (1week) waiting for a call from the General Manager about some of the other issues we had stemming from interaction with the front desk staff Again Roberta is a gem, there was also a very lovely lady at the breakfastRooms: clean except our carpet in the first oneBreakfast: lots of choices, I love the waffles, coffee okParking: plenty of roomPool: busted

The outside and the lobby were nicer than the insideWhen we arrived at around 8pm there was a basket of apples and orangesThe halls had a weird gross smell

We couldn’t go swimming because the pool was out of serviceThe room was like a time capsule with a box style tv I hadn’t seen in about 20+ yearsIt appears it used to be a Shiloh Inn because it has their logo in several placesThe room itself seemed clean, I noticed the towel shelf in the bathroom was rustyIt was really nice they provide you with bottles of extras like lotion and shampooThe towels and bedding seemed nice and clean The water temperature was awesome and our room was warm and comfortable It was also nice having a little sitting table plus a deskOur room was quiet and it felt safe despite that area in town being a little questionableWe got up early for breakfast and there wasn’t anything there for breakfast except the juice machine was onI definitely don’t mind the “if it’s not broken don’t fix it” mentality but not having ANYTHING for breakfast except juice and the same apple basket from the night before definitely didn’t make the extra cost worth itBetween the advertised breakfast and the photos they show for the rooms we definitely felt a little catfishedI wish I would have paid less for a nicer hotel with no breakfastEDIT:In response to their replyIf you’re using Covid and safety as an excuse for the pool being closed then that information should be reflected on the website especially since it WAS previously opened DURING the pandemicAlso,Orange juice is NOT a continental breakfast It’s “free” orange juice at least put some muffins out or SOMETHINGIt’s OK to be ghetto but don’t act like you’re not Own it and don’t be snarky and act like your deceptiveness is for customer safety

Laura Miller

The hotel had no house keeping the entire week I stayed The funny thing is that I only stayed there because I didn’t want to clean my apartment Also the pool and hot tub is under renovation which they failed to state online

It was instead stated as part of the amenities that were included To top it off The stay was non refundable:( 🙁

Madison Grey Cory

Staff was nice Room was clean The basic things you’d expect from a decent hotel

WiFi seemed good enough but I was in the same building as the the lobby and front desk Had a strange encounter with a homeless/transient young adult when I thought there was a back entrance to the building There is not a back entrance And hopefully that young person gets some good things coming his way in the future I didn’t rate it 5 stars because they’re were a few minor gripes that are too minor to bring up here, just something was missing like I didn’t feel like I stayed at a 5 star rated hotel/inn I’m sure that could be addressed in the future So to summarize everything was good, no complaints really, it just wasn’t great and honestly I’ll take good anyday, I don’t need it to be great Plus that’s a hard act to follow
