A rather dumpy motel, carpet had gum, and the carpet is dingy and dirty, the furniture is chipped and scratched The bathroom was dingy and not very clean All the supposed “clean” towels had stains and dirt marks, and hair, gross! the love seat chair has some rather unsavory stains on it

Like I don’t expect it to be a 5 star establishment but at least they could get the bare basics down Honestly I would recommend to just skip a town and try somewhere else This whole town is a dump

The pictures and writeup online made this sound awesome, it was not The beds were clean, the rooms were cheap Ours had a couple big tube TV’s in it, which had horrible tube-whine

We had to unplug them The heart-shaped “sexcussi” with “lounge chair” for viewing (???!) was particularly weird All in all, it sure made for a memorable stop on our trip

Carl Hepker

Took a chance despite reviews saying the place was older There is a big difference between run down and dirty The fiance was chased from the bathroom by a swarm of flies

I killed about 6 house flies and a few fruit flies Spiders in ceiling corners Spider hanging from the ceiling Cobwebs in multiple places Food crumbs and filth between mattresses And the pool was supposedly closed for labor day weekend due to covid At least they offered an immediate refund, I hope

D G

Stayed the weekend on a trip through and have to say after reading the reviews so ppl don’t see a bargain at all

Yes it’s dated I’ll give them all that but my room was clean and smelled clean Could use new carpets and a few things but for the price why complain? The staff was amazing, the hotel manager checked us in fast and helped us find food and other things around town Very quiet tooWe will be staying here again for sureIf you don’t mind older carpet and a older room this is the place to stay

This is my second time staying at this hotel The first time I was there for one night and my experience was good This time around I was very disappointed stayed here two nights

The day time receptionists were very friendly at check in and check out but the night shift one wasn’t very unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I asked her for an extra blanket which she said they do not provide and that was I fine I guess but I then asked for new towels and was told the same thing One of our beds had a orange liquid stain on the sheets(reason why I asked for an extra blanket) Our room shower had one empty bottle of shampoo and conditioner and only one of us had packed a small travel size bottle so we ran out the first night I didn’t feel comfortable requesting some because like I mentioned before the receptionist seemed annoyed On Monday morning when we woke up all the power was out which is understandable due to the weather What upset my parents and I was the fact that we had to figure out a way to bring my handicap sister with her wheelchair down three flights of stairs since the elevator wasn’t working

Janice Ouellette

My friend booked 3 rooms and when I arrived, the desk lady told me that I would be charged an extra $75 for my small dog I thought a deposit meant that when you check out, they will check the room and then refund the deposit This, in my opinion, is I gave two stars because the desk clerk was very nice

I did talk to the manager about this but ended up cancelling my room and going somewhere else What an unfair money grab and misrepresentation of words!is a “fee” and not a “deposit” I have been at many holiday inns and have never been charged such a high, nonrefundable amount! When I questioned

We were in town for a memorial service for a former colleague They let us check in early, so we could change for the service and freshen up after being on the road for 4 hours They gave us the bereavement rate which we weren’t expecting

Rooms were clean and we had a good night’s sleep before heading home Definitely would recommend and stay again should we return to Yakima

Great location Clean Neat

Responsive and courteous staff I can’t remember other names but I do remember Jordan Excellent people at the office lobby Requested him to bring me a different microwave because the one in the room wasn’t working properly and my request was granted I’ll recommend this hotel to a friend I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Anoose Killmore

Apparently this is one of the best hotels you can get near Sunnyside, which is disheartening There’s other reviews claiming they’ve gotten so much better in the past years due to renovations but honestly it’s still a crummy place The area is shady, the look of the place is run down and the rooms are tiny

My shower water temp couldn’t decide which temperature it was so I was constantly dealing with scalding water and freezing water Literally the only good thing about this place is that it looks like they’re working on it The lobby feels homely and the rooms clearly look like they’re being worked on, in a good way Right now though it’s just not a place I’ll check in with again

The check in at the front desk was easy to do The staff is great! Very friendly and very helpful The housekeeping did a great job cleaning up our room (we aren’t messy guests though) thank for attending to our requests before checking in and after

The pool area could be a little warmer and hopefully they get the jets fixed on the hot tub I do have a suggestion for in the rooms (maybe consider adding cup coasters so the furniture doesn’t get ruined)

Kelsey Diaz-Pacheco

Pros: Our room was clean-didn’t hear the traffic in our room,-night staff was very friendly- Got us new sheets very quickly-Breakfast was good- Hotel looked newly remodeled-Overall the building was cleanCons: Day staff at the counter could have cared less about us checking out- Hot tub was broken- Pool was freezing-House keeping was trying to get us out at 10:30 when check out is 12pm- Broken cover for ac/heat unit- Shelf missing in the shower with a metal piece sticking out- Towel rack wasn’t installed all the way and came off when we took the towel off, luckily my 2 year old didn’t get hurt- Sheets on the couch pull out bed had blood stains on it but they brought us a new set right away

Grant Hwang

Overall great value Area seems quiet, could hear the trains at a distance but it was almost like white noise Clean outside, clean lobby, very clean room

Pool very clean, hot tub broken as of April 2 2022Did not have the free breakfast but I can say the coffee is really good and I am fairly picky about coffee The breakfast is a step down from what you would see at a Holiday Inn Express in terms of optionsI would stay again for sure And will consider other La Quinta locations based on my experience here

Envelope was left on the door with key and instructions Ice cream in the freezer, cookies and treats in the kitchen Room was clean and comfortable

Kristi was very nice and the breakfast phenomenal Walnut bread toast, butter and jam, eggs torte with brie cheese, bacon, hash browned potatoes, orange juice coffee and yogurt Wow! Great way to start the day!

Friday evening we needed a place to stay for just the evening as we were on our way from Sherwood, OR to Mattawa, WA I found this B&B using Google – it looked like a safe place to park our van full of motorcycles for the weekends trip so we booked! The booking process was simple and easy We received an email confirmation with instructions

We arrived late; around 11pm The directions regarding how to find out room were given over the phone and it terrified me as I was sure once we got there we wouldn’t be able to make sense of it all as it sounds confusing Once we arrived, everything we were told fell into place and we very easily made our way to our room after hours Because they weren’t fully booked and a better room was available, they upgraded us free of charge! Super nice surprise after such a long drive The rooms was lovely and very cozy, we were both very impressed with every detail In the morning breakfast was served at a time of our choosing and the cook…can cook! She made us an amazing omelet with fresh fruit, juice, and coffee We would absolutely stay here again, great service and warm hospitality!

Jacob Smith

We reserved the Lola room for a weekend getaway Upon arriving, we were given the opportunity to upgrade to the Lillian (which we took!) The bed was very comfortable, even for my bad back and hips

The room was very open and spacious, with a nice fridge and microwave The bathtub was Awesome! It was huge! It is the largest, deepest tub we have ever seen! Between the wonderful night’s rest on the comfortable bed, and the luxurious soaks in the tub, this is one of the most restful getaways we’ve ever hadAlthough we did not make it up for breakfast, the owners left food out for us to make at our leisure They were very accommodating of our dietary needs/restrictions, and made sure the food they left would be ok for us

It has a complimentary hot breakfast on the first floor weight room and laundry If that’s not enough for you the friendly staff will do everything possible to ensure that your stay here was pleasurable I have been here 3 weeks and booked my stay for 2 months

On a recent business trip I checked into my room Friday night Had a “nicer room” with a courtyard view on the quieter side of the building I got settled in and slept great

The next day when I arrived back at my room, my key card no was not working I went to the front desk to get a new card and I was informed that they had moved me to a different room because they had double booked the room and whoever was coming in had priority So I was “downgraded” to a room with an exterior door which walks out to a “truck stop” with semi trucks running their engines 24/7 On top of that, the flooring in the room is a cold tile floor with “area rugs” that are an easy trip hazard since they have no suction to the floor When I got into the shower at 11:30PM I discovered a mess of woman’s hair stuck across the wall This set me off and I called the front desk to speak to a manager There were no managers available at the time so I am writing this review so all can see It is unfortunate that I had to be treated this way, but it seems this hotel being so “short reffed” it’s poor customer service has become another victim of the times we live in

Jack Otto

I was passing through Yakima and needed a pet friendly hotel for the night The staff were very friendly and gave us a room at the back of the hotel next to a door so we could let our dogs in The hotel is a little bit dated sure, but it’s clean, the beds are cozy and it was super quiet at night

I don’t think it was a very full that night but there’s plenty of parking even if it was If you’re passing through Yakima or staying there and need a good hotel that’s pet friendly I recommend this place! They did have a breakfast in the morning but we had to get back on the road

This was a good hotel They have hot breakfast and good service They do not have a pool but they do have a hot tub outside in the back

There is a laundry room with 1 washer and 1 dryer They provide the detergent and dryer sheets The machines take quarters, with $2 to wash and $025 cents to start drying I can’t remember how many minutes it gives per quarter to dry They are still practicing COVID precautions and housekeeping will not come into your room If you leave towels outside the door, they will replace them Leave your trash outside the door and they will collect it Its a nice and clean place to stay

Ryan Mccormick

Staff was friendly from minute one and was always free to answer any questions we had on the area Room was updated with current amenities and had many modern comforts including a comfortable bed, deep tub and USB connectors in lamps and outlets Breakfast was good as well and location was very convenient to the waterfront and central market

Staff even went above and beyond and when girlfriends earring was lost they searched through the laundry, found it and mailed it back to us Would highly recommend this little hotel as a place of operation around Poulsbo and we will definitely be staying again when the need arises!

This hotel exceeded my expectations Looks like an older building from the exterior but rooms are nicely renovated The hot breakfast is served every morning and is always well done

There is a small pool/spa that’s open 24hrs Adequate parking w/overflow at nearby lots for oversized vehicles Overall very pleased with the value and amenities offered by this hotel

I stayed here in Yakima while my father was in hospice I had to extend my days on a daily basis, and was always able to keep the same room The staff was so warm and friendly it made my stay twice as Nice, the lady who runs the breakfast area was oh so kind

And one of the ladies at the front desk was so kind to me on the phone every time I would call an extend my day I give this place a four stars

Lindsay Y.

I usually don’t stay here, but my normal place was booked so I took a chance I was sorry I did the moment I walked into our room It smelled like someone had been smoking I’m there for a month straight

There were big, yellow stains on the sofa pull out mattress cover and what looked to be red lipstick smudges on the pillow case I was able to get a new room, thankfully! The pool was filthy! I ended up skimming it myself after finding a bandaid, giant hairball and a few other things that don’t belong in a pool! I was charged for 3 nights, but I only booked 2 It wasn’t a hold like hotels often do, it was an actual additional charge of a full night’s stay When I tried to contact customer service, it was non-existent other than a generic email that sends an auto-reply I called the front desk numerous times to speak with a manager, but I was given the runaround every time I finally reached someone by email and explained everything that transpired They argued with me about the charges and offered me points for a free night I wanted my money back! Not only did they not refund my money, they also failed to give me those points for that free stay and they didn’t respond to me again I don’t recommend this hotel for many reasons, the location, shady people hanging out by your car during the night, outdated, cigarette odor in the rooms, filthy and unsanitary pool, terrible customer service!! Overpriced by far!! You can get a nice King Suite at one of the brand new hotels in Yakima for less per night

We stayed here with my parents for a memorial service The rooms were clean and spacious The fridge and microwave worked well

The bathroom and sinks were clean The vending machines were well stocked and breakfast was great The staff was friendly and welcomingEdit to add: The parking lot wasn’t great The spaces are small, so any SUV had to park over the lines which made parking awful for anyone else

Gorge-Us Designs

There was a dirty sock and deodorant behind the chair in our room, and dust all over in front of the microwave Other than that the room was nice! They did however have an AMAZING breakfast! Those ladies making everyone’s food deserve a raise!! They were working their backs off in that hot kitchen to make sure everything was as amazing as it was! They have tons of options, DIY waffles Biscuits and gravy

And even cereal!
