My daughter’s wedding was this weekend and what can I say nothing could off not being more perfect!!!! I want to especially thank Jacob that coordinated everything for the whole event to perfection His staff was superb, the food was great and the experience for the guest that stayed at the hotel was excellent The whole experience was awesome

Great community! Lots to do, we were actually here for work so we didn’t get to get the real experience but just while there got to read all the different activities that start as early as 7am like bocce ball, shuffle board, pool aerobics Everything is beautifully decorated and the employees are super duper friendly! I will stay again if there for work! It’s my 3rd time staying here so I definitely like because I keep coming back even if just to sleep after a long days work because showers are double headed and beds are extra comfy and clean

Jeannine Foster

The view was nice, and they have a pretty pool but it was too cold to use it The area of the hotel is nice, however, they don’t clean the rooms, the restaurant is closed, they don’t even give you fresh towels The bed was horrible and we woke up with hurt backs and stiff necks every day

The coffee bar is the only thing they offer and it’s terrible Oh and the parking lot is not big enough to accommodate so have fun parking, especially in the evening My thought is if they are not going to provide any services, especially when they advertise them, then they should cut the cost of the rooms Extremely over priced for what you get Will never stay there again

For the most part the park is older, properties well cared for, mostly quiet, hookups were good Sites are tight, m ostly uneven Most reasonable on rental fees but not many amenities

Told in 11/21 when making reservation clubhouse under total remodel that would be complete 1/22 NOT! Left on 3/27/22 and still long ways to being done in fact for the 3 months there most the time no one working at all Before leaving was told now 6/22 complete date I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t done by 1/23 No clubhouse, rest rooms, although they had a temporary 1 toilet, 1 shower, rental trailer No exercise room Small pool, shuffleboard, tennis Close to grocery, all stores, restaurants Not dissatisfied, not impressed Good management, great people Would stay againGet what you pay for

Great RV resort They are constantly up-grading this facility to include club house and the complete part Swimming pool has already been upgraded along with some other recreational sports

Laundry has been updated to include the washers and dryers AND they all run on credit cards No need for coins or a card that you have to buy for $1000 or more You pai PER USEManagement is great Very friendly and very helpful They are very knowledgeable about the local area to include local shops and restaurantsThis site is on our Visit Again List

Shane Reichle

I found this park on a drive to visit another park The “acting manager” was nice at first I had a few questions that the response was “I don’t know” at least she was being honest

Then the question about occupant age, she quickly snapped that “I won’t even talk to anyone under the age of 55 about renting an RV site even for one night!” I never stated my age but quickly looked at my friend and said let’s go I’m the “young one” in a traveling group, everyone else is over 55 First impression is everything and this office worker with the angst in her response tells me that the corporate executives condone her attitude!

We were so pleased with our room Really comfortable bed, lovely pillows, and that cute little efficiency kitchen We didn’t need that for our one night visit, but will definitely keep the place in mind should we ever need a longer stay

Breakfast choices and area were wonderful A beautiful arrangement with lots of seating options for individuals or groups

Jenny Lawson

It was an overall great stay! It was clean, the rooms were nice, and the workers were polite I just wish the pool hadn’t closed at 8:30 That’s kind of early

When you’re on vacation you’re busy doing stuff all day, it’s nice to come and unwind in the pool, but it was always closed, unfortunately! We did get to swim once, it was nice

Upon entering the day to come to the hotel it was catastrophic traumatic uneventful frustrating and totally disorganized Nothing was done right the way it should have been done But the manager tried everything he could to rectify the situation

After driving 6 hours frustrated anxious and tired with an elderly woman and a service dog it was very difficult for me to calm down Mind you I had gotten lost for an hour and 45 minutes because nobody knew how to explain how to get there to the hotel from where I was at No matter how much I was explaining myself to them where I was at I was not getting proper articulate thorough directions One of the employees kept hanging up on when I asked how do I get there and he didn’t know and then associate female did not know Which was creating more anxiety because I wanted to get in there freshen up and lay down I said how come you don’t know how to give directions which I found out later they were new people Instead of putting a manager on the phone to direct me it just became worse in an escalated By the time I got to the hotel more issues arose that I almost didn’t even say there that night I was ready to sleep in my car because of the battles that somebody else created before coming to the hotel Which one major one said I didn’t have a reservation but I had a reservation number The manager did everything he could to call me down but I was not about to calm down because I was just too tired and overloaded which nobody seemed to understand Make a long story short cuz this is a long one the end the manager of the hotel ends up fixing my reservation and my rate the way it was supposed to be originally The front desk personnel made up for whatever I was going through the breakfast the room and the accommodations help me to slowly get back to my rational self I was pretty angry and disgusted considering what I was encountering I left the front desk and tip hospitality tip which I always do when I visit a Marriott hotel This place was difficult to find cuz the road maps were two different zip codes and two different areas My GPS was telling me one thing and these guys were telling me something else I had a long conversation with the manager and he said he would fix the problem so the sort of thing would not happen again He promised to stay on top of it and the training would be better considering there was a new hotel and more training needed to be installed It’s in a good area It’s close to all the essentials things that you might need while traveling I hope that nobody has to go through what I went through because in the 25 years I’ve been a member I have never experiences in my entire time visiting Marriotts My mother and my daughter were severely affected by this as well as myself medically speaking I highly recommend you do not deal with reservations if you’re going to make arrangements to say it’s this hotel please deal directly with the manager himself then you know nothing will go wrong Thank you for taking the time to read this and you all have a nice day

This hotel is nice for the price The beds are comfortable and the water pressure is good in the shower I didn’t try the pool out while we were there

They have washers and dryers there, but the room is so hot, and if you’re like me and want to stay with your laundry, you’re going to sweat!!! The one thing we did not like is that they have signs at breakfast that say that they don’t want you to take food back to your room Most people want to relax while they’re eating The internet connection was good for our stay The other thing is, if you don’t fill out a form for your room to be cleaned by 9 am, then your room won’t be cleaned that day The air conditioner didn’t get as cold as it should, being in Florida All and all, it was a good stay

BED BUGSRented a room for two nights for my 83 yr old disabled mom so she could attend family reunion After the first night she mentioned a couple of bites on here chest We thought nothing of it at the time

The second night she went to the desk 10 PM, with two bed bugs in a baggie asking for another room They said they had no where to move her They did not get out of their chair and check the room In the am they offered her 10,000 rewards points BIG DEAL I asked the mgr why no one checked the room He said they are not bug professionals REALLY???????? ROAD CONSTRUCTION DIFFICULT TO GET IN THE DRIVEWAY

Jimmy Oakley

Have spent thousands at this hotel and never had one problem until last stay Was waiting on a transfer of cash and was asked to leave and check back in because the person paying wasn’t there I’ve personally paid thousands to pay for a room for friends and haven’t even been in the same state

So I checked out and got charged 20 dollars for a pillow that had one small stain on it that I spilled a coke on??? Never again Arrogant belligerent and obviously unappreciated of paying customers I would recommend staying clear of this joint!

Excellent! My young family and I had such a great time here! LOVED their pool-side lounge beds! They were completely in the shade and made our day at the pool wonderful! The pool was a great temperature, probably heated We paid for the breakfast buffet, and it was delicious! Lots of variety and super fresh! My eggs were perfectly made! I’m picky about my eggs The rooms were comfortable and clean! Great water pressure in the shower

I loved that the thermostat went up in 5 degree increments And it was obvious that the AC unit had a good dehumidifier in it We thoroughly enjoyed our time and want to return! Highly recommend!

We picked the resort out randomly on a travel website and it was an unexpected and amazing few days We actually stopped on our way back from a resort hotel on South Beach that was multiple times the price and can honestly say this was better in every way What a rare find, from the desk staff to the amenities, to the cleanliness of the room, to lunch at Wolf Gang Puck’s by the pool it was exceptional

The conference center looks first class also The pictures online do not do it justice It is nicer We spent two great days and actually felt like we were at a luxury hotel in a rocky mountain resort by YellowstoneThanks for making us feel special! Our only complaint is that we could not stay longer

Ms. Millie

An oasis amongst the twilight zone of the Villages, the Brownwood is outstanding! It is the only Brownwood Hotel in the country From making reservations to checking in and out, you will feel like a special guest The decorating is beautiful with the feel of being on a cattle ranch

The multiple textures and colors are a breath of fresh air, literally The huge pine doors and room interiors smell of fresh cut pineWe didn’t use the architecturally pleasant pool But the wide-open area felt freeing and tantalizingWe enjoyed Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant where we found that the food and service were equally excellentI highly recommend Brownwood It’s definitely worth your time

I’ve really thought over this review for a month now and have decided this place is great with horrible features Let me just say we were here for work purposes staying long term over a month We paid 1200 for a month

it is outdated, stinks like swamp, dead roaches in the cupboards, mold in the bathrooms, dead rat in the laundry room! Which they charge $200 a load for outdated machines and the guests think they can throw your clothes out of the washers or dryers to do their own without waiting 5 minutes and the other guests are iffy Pool is not heated heads up! BUT The owners are great! It’s beautiful and quiet! Little pricey for the quality All that aside we had a pleasant experience We had an issue with another resident there and the owner comped us a free week for the trouble said guest gave me I would recommend it if your in a pinch but not for long term workers!

iangator

Stayed here for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago Rented one of the two bedroom cottages It’s a nice place

The power went out for a couple hours when we were there (during a storm, not really their fault, unless you want to blame them for not having adequate generators lol) We did call the office and the manager brought us a couple flashlights, candles and matches Would definitely recommend!

An extremely friendly, happy and courteous man checked us in Our room was clean and nicely sized We had a one bed king room

Everything from the coffee pot to the bathroom to the floors were squeaky clean and well dusted There were plenty of towels The TV was easy to operate The sofa was clean and comfortable Breakfast was Western omelette and sausages, cereals and pastries This is the place to stay!

Van-Anh Le

No complaints about this hotel Breakfast offers a great selection with two different flavors of waffles you make on the spot, several different juices, different cereals, fruits, baked goods, and the proteins are slightly different each day Super friendly workers between those who serve breakfast, those who are at the front desk, and those who clean the rooms

The rooms are clean and it’s in a good area with plenty going on nearby We need to extend our stay and will continue to stay here

This inn has the hospitality of a 5 star resort From the desk clerks to house keepers, even management are warm and invitingIt’s not the most modern place but it’s clean, a full breakfast is served in the dining room from 6 to 10 am, the coffee is fresh all day and even at midnight and staff remembers you by name

Cindy at the front desk saw I was having a hard day and she exceeded expectations in her professionalism and compassion In this day, every company would be lucky to have a person like her to representative their establishment*Kid Friendly*Outdoor pool*King size room very spacious*Let out sofa*Bathroom deep tubs and rails*Phone charger, coffee maker

Not bad for a night stay Only problem we had was people slamming doors maybe they need to adjust them so they close quietly

Whether it was a season event or what, but it was a little pricey but overall highly recommended staff was very courteous Also a nice little variety of breakfast Nothing fancy but fairly served

D. R.

Awful in every aspectFront desk, evening and morning staff, incredibly rude and not helpful in any way Quite nasty really!Breakfast was terrible, stale bread and muffins, no fruit

Coffee was luke warm The breakfast lady could have cared less even though there was still a hour and a half before breakfast endedThe room smelled like mold, AC didn’t work well, floor was stained, and towels feel like sandpaper TV is a joke since you get 10 channels and 8 of them are sports Didn’t feel clean and the bed was not comfortableSave your money, don’t spend it at this overpriced dump with bad attitudes running it Go somewhere else…Anywhere but Sleep Inn & Suites Ocala/Belleview

Was a little frustrated when I arrived because I had told them I had dogs when I made the reservation and I was never informed of their pet policy So if you are bringing your dog and leaving them alone in the room make sure you bring their crate because you have to put them in it if you are leaving them in the room Also I was traveling with my mother in law whom is in a wheelchair

Whereas, the room had a walk in shower it would have been hard for her to step over the ledge to get into the shower and the sink was to high She had nothing that she could grab to help turn herself over in bed The room was also not set up where she could get around in the room very well I was however thankful to find this room because I had called 4 other places and all of them only had handicap accessible rooms with a king bed So finding this room was like finding a unicorn 🦄!

1st time in February Wasn’t expecting much Place was super nice

booked room online at comfort inncomBooked a “Accessible room” when we got to the hotel we were told we had a room on the 2nd floor

by Mary Shellenberger desk clerk I said we had reserved a 1st floor room She said “that would cost more” I said even a Accessible room? YES she said 1st floor rooms cost more she said I then said ok how about a 2nd floor Accessible room? She said ” those rooms cost more I had booked a 2 bed queen,,, and that is the most costly room on the website!! So a “Accessible room” that has 2 beds should not cost more And according to ADA Law the can NOT charge more for a “Accessible room”!!!Mary Shellenberger was RUDE and a LIAR she could of given us a 1st fl room,, but she had already booked us in on the 2nd fl BEFORE we got there She even had the room keys pre-made!!! and didn’t want to be bothered with making changes!!!We have stayed at this hotel 5 other times and NEVER had this kind of problem!! Staff was great! Rooms were clean and neat And breakfast was goodNEVER GOING TO STAY HERE AGAINUPDATE: !!!!!After the “owners reply” that amounted to noting, I will be filing a ADA complaint , and will follow up with a lawsuit Mary could tell I was disabled, ( I have Diabetic Neurotherapy and 7 neurological stents from a stroke My right side is parallelized, and have a speech impediment ) When she asked for my Make and Color of my car I told her “It will be parked in the HANDICAPPED PARKING right up front” And yet she still did nothing about the room assignment!!Just fact she tried to charge me more for a 1st floor room alone is reason to have cause to file a complaint with the Florida office of consumers affairs & Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Division of Hotels and Restaurants

This has to be the nicest room I’ve ever rented ANYWHERE! It’s pretty much a suite without a stove I loved everything about it and felt right at home The lady that was working when I came in at 3am was so nice and helpful

Also the lady who was working in the morning was nice and actually greeted me with a “good morning” Everyone was just super nice and I was so glad that I found that motel Definitely deserves a 5 star rating It was my first time staying at Red Roof Inn and I will definitely give them more business!!!

Ciara Mason

It’s a really nice hotel, the rooms are really big we got a king suite and it is wonderful it has its own balcony The pool is nice and big and very clean Very clean rooms and I like that the rooms have their own A/C unit with a thermostat

It’s just like staying in a small apartment and I love it! We will definitely being staying here again!

Melissa Frye

This hotel is super clean and the rooms are incredibly spacious The air conditioning is amazing! I actually got too cold at one point The issue that I have is with the employees

We got in late but we had called to let the hotel know and they made it seem like it was an inconvenience for us getting in late The second issue we had was with them wanting to clean our room We work third shift and sleep during the day They should explain their policy when people are checking in that they need to clean the rooms every three days or whatever it may be, that way we can make arrangements The front desk called and woke me up, and when I told my boyfriend about it, he went down and she was incredibly rude to him saying how she had already explained everything to me Then after all that, and how they said they were going to come in and just get the trash and change out the towels, they NEVER EVEN DID! We were planning on staying there until our project ended, but after the first week, they lost our business

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed by this hotel The staff was friendly, professional and engaging, and seemed to enjoy working there! The shared space for the free breakfast was very clean, well organized and had nice ambiance The free breakfast had lots of options and tasted good

The hotel room was a decent size, the mattress was supportive and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure We would definitely stay here again!

This location was closest to the Villages, where I was attending a family event Everything about this hotel suited me just fine Contactless check-in and check-out was offered, although I preferred to check in and out at the desk

The staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel and my room seemed very clean; my “king Executive Suite” room was about the same price as all the other rooms but was HUGE and extremely comfortable It had a very large desk, a sofa and a chair, which I appreciated I was pleased with the small but nice fitness center and also the business center The breakfast was terrific, and complimentary coffee was available 24/7 Parking was convenient, and plenty of luggage carts were available when I checked in and also when I checked out I will definitely stay at this location again on my next visit to see family at The Villages

This place is unbelievably cute and cozy! Anne and Brantley (the inn keepers) were so accommodating and friendly This was mine and my boyfriends first time staying at a B&B and we will definitely be returning to this one This is a cozy get away from the stresses of a traditional hotel

I also need to mention how amazing the breakfast we had was! I asked for the recipe and Brantley was very kind to share it with me, I’ll be making it at home now We had no problems with anything!

We had the pleasure of staying at Mission Inn while attending a British Car Event in April The mix of old historic Florida with modern day conveniences was outstanding and welcoming Walking the grounds was like a day at the botanical garden

Hard to describe the beauty and ambiance of this magnificent and almost magical location It was a experience no one should miss Now, I need to find a way to golf this one of a kind golf course Maybe my next visit?

I can’t say enough about our experience at the Mission Inn Resort! We had our wedding at one of their venues in December and it was one of the most delightful experience I’ve ever had Jessica from the mission inn weddings sales team could not have been more helpful and transparent on the experience we would have They helped us with great vendors and had everything in order with the hotel and resort to make sure our family was well accommodated

They helped us meet Kelsey, our wedding coordinator, who was our superhero leading up to the big day Kerry our catering manager went above and beyond with her staff to make sure everything went off without a hitch She employed a wonderful staff who were understanding and responsive to everything we addressed I would recommend this resort and experience to everyone and look forward to my next stay!

Although the staff is five-star, the facility is not up to Hilton standards The pool is in a windy area in the shade of the building, there’s no hot tub, indoor/outdoor carpet squares in room, tiny ants in bathroom, ripped up curtains and pulls, with a tiny workout room Dresser was beyond tired, missing a handle and paint

Not what I’d expect for $200 a nightExcellent breakfasts by Jill and wonderful responsiveness from the staff The manager gave us a ride to pick up our repaired car!

There was a bug in the bathroom of the room The young lady working the late shift was very apologetic and moved us to another room; however, hair was in the bed in this room My son and I had to be up early so I just managed with the room; however my son did not sleep bc he felt as if things were crawling on him

The GM had no regard for our issue and would not even look me in my African American face as he spoke to me All he said was do you want a printed or emailed receipt My husband is a Diamond member and I have never received this type of service traveling with him under his profile This deeply saddens me the treatment and lack of regard I received from the GM Not even an apology Who appeared to be his wife standing behind him had the look of shame She clearly knew I was being treated unfairly
