Stayed one night before a flight Clean, quiet rooms with good soundproofing, working shower and competent staff which is definitely not a given in this country at all so this was very positiveWheelchair rooms are 100% accessible and they also have an accessible airport shuttle which is great

The only “sad thing” was that they asked more than 100$ more for an accessible room vs the same standard room which is sort of discriminating of disabled people You should not take more money from guests with disabilities who need an accessible room not for fun but because of their limitations !!

More accurate: 45/5Stayed here for a Mets game and loved that we could see the stadium from our room! Clean, quiet room Lounge was clean, friendly front desk, quick check in

Parking was a little smidge challenging with a large pick up truck but we made due with the garage next to the hotel, thankfully!Check out was easy, I believe our only issues was that after the ballgame we got some snacks from downstairs and it took about 25+ minutes to buy It was later at night so there was only one front desk person They were with a family that was having some issues with check in, the front desk person seemed a smidge unprofessional with the family, the line was building up, but we all stayed patient Another gentleman came to the desk to start his shift, we happily walked up to the front desk to the desk person who apologized and started to ring up, however then the other front desk person demanded we go over to him, this was very frustrating We had already waited 25+ minutes for snack that were WAY overpriced, but we were hungry and it was very late The check out of our snacks then took another 20+ minutes which was very irritated wasn’t very professionalWe finally went into the community area to use the microwave for there to be no utensils or the etc, we were able to finally get some and go back upstairsOverall a nice hotel, easy to locate, quiet, clean and would stay at again (just wouldn’t by snacks from again)

Hotel was great by the only thing nearby is the airport We had a local Italian place delivered and that solved that problem! Staff was great Beds super comfy

We were even checked early We had disembarked from a cruise and we were at hotel around 1100 AM (4 hrs before check in) We waited about 1 hour in lobby (nice comfortable chairs and Coffee! Lol) around noon We were in room! Thank you to the great staff! Service like this is the reason we always stay at Hilton family hotels!

I can’t say enough about how amazing this hotel is! Everything was great from check-in to check-out! The room was very new and clean with sleek, mid century modern decor I dined at the Paris Cafe for dinner where the food and service were terrific! Make sure you visit Connie and have a drink It’s definitely a fun feel in there

I especially loved the TWA history exhibits throughout the hotel – a very cool touch The best part of course – the convenience of being at the airport and being able to RELAX A lovely property overall!

We spent many an hour at the TWA terminal as a family back in the 60’s as my father flew for TWA, so it was very touching to return to the building The staff was very helpful and accommodating, everyone seemed to be in a good mood Our room had a runway view and I could have stayed up all night just watching the planes land and take-off

We enjoyed the Connie bar, it brought back many fond memories The bathroom was large and ours had 2 sinks so it made getting ready the next morning so easy There was no ice machine, so we had to call down to the front desk for ice, which was delivered to the room It’s nice to be able walk around the hotel and see all the displays, almost like a hotel inside a museum They had a TWA gift shop, but it only had a limited amount of sizes and although there were sweaters on display, they weren’t available at the shop We really enjoyed our visit and if you have any history with TWA in your past it’s worth a stop Be ready to pay $50 for parking and way too much for all the additional taxes and fees, but that’s NYC I guess

Mitch Lacey

The place is amazing How it’s been transformed from an airline terminal into a hotel is top notch The history of the building is something every aspiring architect should visit

If you’re an aviation fanatic or a history buff Definitely visit this place My only complaint is that they can definitely improve the service The people are really nice, it just seems to lack the foundation of what true service means in the hospitality industry However, don’t let that stop you in visiting

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Linda at the front desk was professional, helpful and polite Checking in was fast and easy

The room was clean and cozy There was free breakfast provided and also a fitness center downstairs The fitness center wasn’t big but it was great for those who want to workout during their stay The staff at the front desk are helpful and polite Bakeries and restaurants were within walking distance Affordable price Highly recommend!

Cindy Davis

This was so nice upscale hotel Best price! The staff was exceptionally super nice The management greeted us his name is Kai, not sure if I’m spelling correctly but he went above and beyond

One of the girls ran out to help us get out of the parking space in front and direct traffic for us So nice! It’s in a great location Short walk to subway

Tiffany Mina

Enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Kai greeted us with a warm welcome upon arriving and ensured that he greeted me by name in the days to follow We were given a free continental breakfast that included coffee, muffins, toast, sausage, Eggs, and more

For the price, the room was nice and clean The only issue that I had was that we were not able to control the temperature in our room and it got pretty cold one night The subway station is less than a half mile away and we were able to ride the train to Time Square, which took about an hour…less the New York traffic

The outside may be scary but inside the room is pretty clean and spacious I was surprised The people here are pretty friendly

It’s not perfect but for the price that they ask especially during weekdays is a steal On weekends it’s pricey but what place isn’t They have no security deposit You pay online or in person and that’s the final price No extra fees in person This has been my go to spot for the past year Great place Highly recommend especially because there’s a 24 hour drive thru McDonald’s right next store and a 7-11 down the street There’s also a KFC, Dunkin(not 24hours) and it’s right next to the highway So you could hop on it and head home or wherever you need to go Very convenient Not noisy in the rooms There’s sometimes people smoking outside or talking but that’s alot of inns Other than that I would recommend if you looking for good price and cheap food nearby Usually packed All in all it’s a 37 average

Carly Fuchs

I spent 188 for one night I went back at midnight after the event I attended and packed my stuff and drove 25 hours home

It was not safe to say the least Someone overdosed in the front earlier that day DO NOT SAY HERE the top lock was broken in my room and there was several men standing outside the “inn” when I returned at midnight

Thomas Dennison

Stayed for 5 nights on work travel Was very comfortable leaving my wife and kid at the room No shadiness outside the entire time

Decent/good people stayed here Could walk for food Near alot of stuff Rooms were very clean and look like they were redone, so brand new Had a microwave, great AC and a large sized mini fridge Smaller sized rooms but still stayed very comfortable for 5 days Staff was very helpful and friendly, housekeeping was good to my family Great price! Stayed here today for a day use had a virtual meeting The front desk attendant was lovely and responsive Breakfast was also very nice

I tried to call and see if I could stay one more hour- I would have paid extra- however the attendant at the front did not let me get any more words out and was rather dismissive Would appreciate next time, if they could let me finish my sentence It was fine if it was a no and I am quite capable of I understanding that Otherwise, very nice and would stay there again Clean!!

Patrick A

You’re greeted upon entry by a wholesome fresh smell throughout the lobby and hallways nicely matching up to the modern aesthetic first impression visually And the room did not disappoint either Generous sized, spotlessly clean, airy with a well laid out bathroom and a practical kitchenette

I absolutely have no complaints about the service as the staff were all friendly and always willing to help Breakfast is okay

David Rahbany

Service makes the difference hereWhile 5 stars is a bit of a stretch when evaluating the quality of the rooms and food (really more like a 3-4 star hotel) the staff at this hotel are FIVE STARS They have all been very polite and helpful, giving me more than I expect at each and every turn

What a difference nice people make to an experience Bravo Marriott, keep these people on your team

I have been traveling more frequently and try to stay at Holiday Inns This decision is based off of my confidence in Holiday Inn I am able to comfortably stay at a hotel with the cleanliness and amenities within my budget

Unfortunately my past 3 stays made me feel that the brand’s customer service is not of importance to the company I had to travel to Long Island recently and this branch was everything I think of when staying at a hotel The room was immaculately cleaned, my bed was a cloud, the decor is updated, the woman who checked me in was professional and seemed happy to meet us and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious 😋

Saran Kaur

From the booking process to the check out process, everything went smoothly! Customer service was excellent! I booked the room the day of and was able to get a double queen room for a pretty decent price, considering all other hotels in the area were booked! Check in starts at 3PM, I didn’t make it to the hotel until 7/8ish PM but the wonderful receptionist did give me a call to make sure I was going to make it, and reassured me that my reservation was secure (I hadn’t paid yet, did the whole pay at location option) Housekeeping had done a good job with cleaning the room and restocking! As you can tell from pictures, there was enough parking (they had more in back), views weren’t anything special but decent for a hotel right off the highway Overall had a good stay!

Grace Wilson

The desk attendant who checked us in kept talking to her coworker in Spanish while checking us in Stayed for 5 nights room was only cleaned the first morning and the fourth day Called front desk to advise them that our room had not been cleaned for 2 days

They sent up clean towels and assured us that our room would be cleaned the following day Had to empty our own garbages Note slipped under the door advising that the room would only be cleaned the following day if we requested it Called front desk and the lady said we had been added to list already because the room was not cleaned for two days The next day room was not cleaned Went to the front desk who advised that they were not aware that we had requested that the room be cleaned Breakfast was good Requested a wake up call for day of departure that was not received

Large rooms, convenient location, clean Pet friendly for a pretty stiff fee ($75 per stay) Breakfast decent for a free hotel breakfast

Staff was super nice My only complaints are the shower head is awful Water is very hard And the carpets in the pet friendly rooms are always dampish Not great to walk on All in all, good place to stay and I’ll stay again

Saniya Zahra

I stayed there for almost 2 months for two years in a row They should have welcomed me as regular guest but instead of that they showed me very much attitude Staff was very unprofessional

I always used to even tip them to clean my room but my room was never cleaned properly Also one day they randomly told me that I have to leave the hotel for playing loud music in my room They could have gave me warning but instead of that they asked me to leave!! I’ll never forget this horrible experience I had to face, staff was racist, rude & unprofessional I’m a Hampton inn regular customer but the location in garden city is the worse one, they really need to work on the hotel staff, I wasn’t living there for FREE!!!!!!

Nicholas Millington

The front desk staff was unprofessional and unfriendly My room was not cleaned for 3 days Apparently at this hotel you have to affirmatively request for your room to be cleaned no less than 24 hours in advance

First time domestically or internationally I’ve seen a hotel implement this type of policy There was a frigid draft coming into my hotel room from below the AC/heat unit I ended up booking and using a different hotel for the remainder of my stay Much better experience and only 5 minutes away

I was visiting a person who stayed there to do her wedding and they staff went above and beyond to satisfy not only me but the bride Everyone was polite, respectful and eager to make the day special Although I wasn’t a guest, usually when visiting it’s a bit strenuous at other hotels

They were very nice to me both days I showed up And for the wedding it was nothing but smiling faces even under pressure

Shermaine

Overall hotel was decent, front staff was friendly, and helpful, room was small but it served the purpose for my stay, they need to update there information about dvd players in the room, there was nothing in my room, also the transportation near there was ok I had to ask for a pen, and paper which should be standard in the room, and their should be a information book of some sort to tell you what’s in the area But it’s all good thankful for apps

Stephen Dan

Be careful of front desk Hispanic male I tried to catch his attention for a good minute, but did not look up

I said hi, hello, excuse me, but I can definitely sense he was doing it on purpose The moment he decided to respond he ask me with an uncomfortable tone, “are you staying here?” Hispanic dude with fake white hair lol I would definitely book elsewhere Customer service is definitely not one of their strong suits

This is the first time I’ve been in a hotel where the rooms had hardwood floors instead of light carpeting The photos make the place look much brighter and decorative than it actually is It gave me a feeling as if it was a college dorm that got converted into a hotel

The room is smaller than expected, but still enough room to fight small luggage and move around It functions for resting and that was the reason for my stay, so don’t expect anything fancy from this hotel The free breakfast was surprising as it had the normal breakfast items you would expect, but it also included Chinese food, like rice porridge and steamed buns I was a big fan of the red bean buns It’s good if you need a quick place to stay near the airport or around the Flushing area

Steven Kraft

Wife and I did a weekend foodie trip to Flushing and needed an inexpensive place to spend the night This hotel fit our needs nicely Keep in mind, this is a no-frills hotel, so no on-site parking, amenities like breakfast, etc

However, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet It’s located right in the heart of flushing, so easy to walk to all the surrounding shops and restaurants! The hallway had a strong malatang smell for some reasonWhenever I’m back in Flushing, will make this our go-to hotel!

Pam’s Pretty Plants

Super clean, friendly staff, and we loved the firm mattresses a lot of people mention Our bad backs felt great all weekend! My only complaint is how thin the walls are Both nights we had very loud neighbors who were up talking and laughing until 5am and they sounded like they were in the same room as us

I’m glad they were having fun but the sleeplessness made the weekend a little less fun for us Turning the AC on helped muffle the noise a little but maybe bring ear plugs or ask if there’s a quiet floor or something The free breakfast is decent, too

So let me say the 1 star rating is because of the service or lack there ofThe hotel is nice Clean

Room was a little small but comfortable Good areaI travel quite a bit I’m a good or platinum member for choice hotels, Hilton, Marriott etc… My connecting flight got cancelled and I had to drive in as opposed to fly I called to change the check in and yes I was past the 24 hour window, however I called at 7AM plenty of time to book out the roomThey refused to cancel or change the check in and charged me the room That’s fineThat’s their prerogative It’s just disappointing when I know they could have helped me out, and didn’t Other comfort inns and choice hotels honor those requests So do Hilton and MarriottThis was the first time in the last 3 years a hotel refused

JP Kelliher

Clean, affordable, and an amazing staff! We had to leave another high end hotel nearby because of mold in the room After a terrible night sleep and being desperate for a clean place to stay, the management at this Comfort Inn took us in early, and made sure we had a comfortable place to stayThe room was half the price of the high end hotel down the road, twice as clean, and way more comfortable

Thank you Jonathan and Dave for saving our weekend

Jerome Mabb

The manager was very helpful in every way during our 3 day stayThe breakfast was very good and the area was very cleanThe room was impeccably clean and the service was awesome

The covered parking area was handy being that we had freezing rain during our stayRestaurants and diners were pointed out by the manager and his picks were on pointHighly recommended!

Anyways – room was clean and big enough for the 5 of us and wouldn’t complainCourteous front desk and good assortment of breakfast though it’s a repeat every dayIf you want to avoid the paid parking, park on the street or the Whole Foods lot

Or pay $10 a day

My group of 5 recently spent the night prior to our early morning departure from JFK airport Our travel companions had booked a 1 BR and were accompanied by their teenaged daughter When they checked in and discovered that the bedroom was not private from the living area, the daughter began to feel anxious about being able to get a good night’s sleep due to her parents’ snoring

I inquired about upgrading my room, since I have a Titanium status with Marriott, and was initially told that nothing was available Then, on the way to the elevator, we were pleasantly greeted by Michelle who was on temporary assignment with this hotel We explained our situation and Michelle worked with the front desk staff for a few minutes and returned with a suite upgrade for me!This was a perfect solution and really relieved the anxiety on our friends’ daughter We all dropped our luggage off in our rooms and returned to the lobby for dinner and drinks Everyone enjoyed their meals and slept well that evening The rooms were not luxurious, but were very clean and quietWe left our vehicle with Marriott and took their early morning shuttle to JFK The ride was very short and the driver, as the rest of the staff, was very pleasant and professional We enjoyed chatting with him about the Virgin IslandsWe were all very happy with our experiences at this Courtyard Marriott and especially thankful to have met Michelle Kudos to all! We will be back for future flights – for sure These folks show you hospitality the way you should expect it and the way we mostly find it at Marriott properties

The hotel is dated and dirty The service and staff were amazing As I mentioned to the front desk member at checkout, this is one of the first hotel chains I have been to where 95% of staff was friendly and greeting you from housekeeping to cooks and between

Their free breakfast may not look like much but their sandwiches are very large and filling The location is in a residential area which makes parking difficult

While the staff was competent, friendly and helpful the overall condition of the property is not what one expects under the Courtyard name I sought refuge in this hotel purgatory due to a cancellation of a flight at nearby JFK There are no nearby dining options so you are generally confined to the limited in house menu

It is not the best place I’ve stayed and certainly not the worse
