My family really enjoyed this stay as we stopped during a road trip for some fun, we ended up doing a ton of activities including the slip and slide, the bounce pillow, playground, swam in the lake and pool, water balloon toss and ice cream sundaes And that was all in one afternoon Also able to get laundry done

Each spot has its own garbage that they remove which is niceThe owners are really nice and run a great campground with friendly staff The campers all staying there had a real family feel amongst all the kids who were at all the activities together Friendly people all around us, great campground, we don’t often return places but I hope to return here:

Great small campground We stayed there early in the year when COVID was at its height and they handled it extremely well We stayed on site 15 right on the stream with a perfect view of the pond, and it was beautiful

The way the pond is lit up at night with different fountains and colors is also beautiful Staff extremely friendly and nice Will camp here probably once a year from here on out

Stayed here for one night while my teenage daughter was attending a concert at Mohegan Sun The hotel is nicely decorated and room was laid out nicely and seemed clean, but nothing fancy However, one of the beds seems to have not had the sheets changed; there was a clothing store tag inside and a yellow stain

We were also awakened at 3 AM by extremely loud guests across the hall which carried on for some time All in all, it seemed like the type of room you would normally pay about $90 for, not $365 which was our final bill

Absolutely horrendous customer service Arrived for my stay and was informed that the pool was closed Spoke with the front desk personnel and explained that I was traveling with children that expected to swim

After some deliberation I was told that although I booked in advance she would refund my trip and had spoken with her manager Fast forward a 3 weeks and Fairfield Inn Uncasville has only issued a partial refund and the general manager has assured me that I am lying and no refund will be issued Nothing like spending your hard earned money on something you never receive

Room facing street was traffic noisy Staff were very friendly Big assist was lending me a corkscrew

Ha Casino shuttle was not running this Monday night Oh well, not very far by car Breakfast was prepackaged egg, pork patty, cheese on bagle or biscuit, which were quite good Better than digging around in a tin full of scrambled eggs King bed room with sitting area and two tv’s was nice and clean

Thank GOD I bring my own sheets And the 3nights I stayed there I was killing spiders They were all over I’m very scared of bugs so I couldn’t sleep the whole time knowing there wad spiders in the room and bathroom The first place I saw them was on the towels when I first got there Then on the desk then by the phone and then on the pillow I did not sleep at all You guys need to really bomb that place Nobody should have 2 go through that The outside grounds was kept nice The breakfast was good And again the staff was AMAZING

25 stars no microwave, no refrigerator, elevator is SLOW, toilet flushes terribly you have to keep your hand on the knob to make it flush all the way, the television is up high on an armoire and there’s a divider type piece coming from the wall so when you turn the television if your sleeping in the far other end of the room you can not get a good view of the television They offer complimentary breakfast

Ample parking lot Spots are narrow and tight so when people park carelessly they get to close to your car making it almost impossible to open the door

This hotel receives NO stars They made an error on our reservation and had the wrong date of arrival We arrived on our date and they said they did not have a reservation

I gave them the confirmation number and the front desk clerk said oh they had you coming yesterday and we clearly stated NO we were arriving today on business The front desk clerk promptly gave us a room and he told us he changed everything in the system but to double check the credit card statement because we may be charged for a NO show fee which is the total night’s fee Well, we were charged and it was not our fault The attendant making the reservation put in the wrong date and why would they penalize us for their own mistake I have called 5 times, I have talked with the Assistant Manager and have been waiting 2 days for a call back Still crickets Stay tuned

Good location! Restaurants also shopping very close to the Hotel Room (1st floor) was smelling like cold sweat, Breakfast at the Hotel very poor variety, should pay for 2 small bottles water, milk was expired, fridge is working only for 2 hours, is that justifying that price? My opinion and experience is not a good one! Sorry, once and never again!

Eugene Alan Young (Geno)

This location is one of the absolute worst Fairfield Marriott locations that I have ever had the poor luck to stay at They have no respect for guest privacy The desk was absolutely reckless in its dealings with my personal information

I would love to have a couple of heads roll for the blatant disregard for my privacy I was soo angry when the front desk gave my information to an outside entity When I left the room my belongings were ransacked by the morally compromised employees whom virtually stole every thing I had of value They basically just threw their hands up when I asked why my belongings were missing The experience was fairly traumatizing and I want to compensated for the monumental loss I suffered The hotel itself was poorly managed and I experienced numerous issues with the staff and their blatant rudeness and lack of customer service It is, to me ,a super 8 dressed up No where near the Marriott standard that I have experienced in other Fairfield Inns It is really sad SMH

We got the 2 Queen studio room Definitely worth the extra couple of dollars considering you get a pullout couch, and much larger room Plus the TV does rotate so you can put it towards the best or living room set

Only complaint for us was the room light went out around midnight for the bathroom and there’s no extra light And the pullout couch had half the support on it (the bottom went out on the area where you put your feet) but you could still sleep on itBreakfast was alright, wish there were more options and wish the waffle maker was more accurate with batter and time because it’s definitely easy to put too much batter and wreck the waffles, and the time on it seems to be off Other than that they have other breakfast options and wish they had a couple moreEach floor had soda vending machines for a decent price ($2), there were elevators, free coffee and hot chocolate as well as bottles of water at the lobby If you wanted too as well, they had masks and wipes for people as well One complaint I will have is pool was very crowded and I’ve seen past reviews where people that lived nearby would go in and use it and I believe it There were people outside the pool door trying to get in or asking people who walked by if they could let them in Hours for it aren’t the best as well if you go out in the evening and have kids Hours were 8am-10pm for the pool, 6am-12am for the fitness center, and 6am-10am for breakfastI would definitely stay again for sure as it was a great hotel and the digital key works for Hilton members plus you can check in and out on the app and use your phone as your key Plus if your room is ready early, you can go up then Check in is usually at 3pm and the room was ready at 1145 Definitely recommend signing up for it if you haven’t already because you also get a discount on rooms

A terrible hotel experience The room provided to us had the view of the back of the hotel sign It covered 90% of the view, easily

The air conditioner did not work effectively, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable The trash can had remnants from the previous occupants Also, no hot waterBreakfast was stale- the only saving grace was the exceptionally kind breakfast staff There was an employee there with dark hard and blue eyes, and she was extremely kind and courteous to usMy family and I usually always prefer staying at a Hampton, but this has been a poor experience

Front Desk Staff: 5/5The front desk staff were super cooperative and helpful My family got done with our activities early and got to the hotel before 3pm checkin The Front Desk staff called up to the cleaning staff to ask them to start cleaning our room immediately

We came back about an hour later and the cleaning staff had not updated the front desk staff on the status, and the front desk was having trouble getting the update from them, so they placed us in a different room (same type) immediately, and also offered my 6 year old some cookies and water Overall made the wait (which we were totally responsible for by being early) much easierRoom: 3/5The room itself was average We got a king suite, and it was HUGE Plenty of room It was also very clean The decor and furniture was quite dated, the furniture looked worn, the edges of the desk were all dinged up The worst for me though was the beds Beds are completely subjective to your tastes, but to me it felt like sleeping on a plywood board If you are into softer beds, or even midway firmness, I would take a pass on this, or maybe bring a mattress topper? I tried to supplement with more pillows to help my back out, but the pillows were also the kind that look very fluffy, but then deflate to almost nothing once under your headAmenities: 3/5The pool was average size, but had a greenish tint, very cloudy and VERY cold Once we were in for a bit, we acclimated, but it was a struggle at the startFood: 5/5Nothing to say about the free breakfast, standard breakfast fare (waffles, sausage, eggs, muffins, cereal, etc) It was good, it was free, and there was a lot of itLocation: 5/5Located just outside one of the main parts of the city, very close to the Science Center and the convention center Right near a lot of eateries in the main area (go to Bear’s BBQ!), but far enough away as to not be hard to reach, traffic-wise

This is now the Comfort Inn, under new ownership The previous owner left a lot to be desired, but this has now become my favorite hotel The prices are reasonable, the staff are great, and the indoor pool and jacuzzi makes it the best choice for not only the immediate area, but maybe Norwich and Plainfield, too, depending on your personal preferences

Mark and everyone else I dealt with during my month stay were completely professional and seemed to genuinely care There is a really solid crew here and they do a phenomenal job!!! From the night guy with the jokes, the housekeeping constantly greeting me on my way out every morning to the kitchen manager taking the time to greet me and keep the breakfast area stocked no matter how busy and chaotic Best Western should be proud to have these members of their crew representing them everyday

Devan Kuettner

Hotel was clean, room was decent Our bathroom could have been cleaner The shower had something pink on the ceiling, possibly mold

When we arrived, we were disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for maintenance since we had booked based on the fact it had an indoor pool that we planned to use The staff was very helpful and friendly

Stringfellow Hawk

Walls and ceilings are paper thin Our room was floor level and we heard people walking around above us for 14 hours out of the day, till around 2am One night there was some belligerent dude yelling and screaming, either at the front desk or in a room

I almost called the cops I really wanted to complain to the front desk to get some money back, and should have Contrary to all of this negativity I gotta say the front desk guy was amazing He went above and beyond to help us out the whole time Dude was a polished gem in a dark and scary place The breakfast is great too but I’d say try to find another hotel even if it’s a little more per night

Very cool historic inn The rooms were appointed with comfy beds and antiques We had a very nice large shower and private bathroom

We never got a chance to meet the owners, we showed up a little late and left a little early in the morning They don’t serve an actual breakfast There is a dining room with 24 hr muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice, and Keurig We will return!

Bianca Nicole Greene

We loved our stay! The sweetheart room was beautiful and homey My favorite part was how clean everything was! I literally walked around the room barefoot and I don’t do that ever It was a much needed time together and Lee and Diane were so accommodating and kind

Will definitely stay here again ❤️The only thing was I wished there was a microwave but definitely not a deal breakerNote: I’ve stayed in hotels and the bed sheets here were like butter! The comfort was unreal 💯

Eileen Lazarus

Once we discovered the Spring Hill Inn we have stayed there every time we visited our son at UConn The history of the building is fascinating yet the rooms are ultramodern and comfortable The owners are extremely accommodating: Lee made sure we knew how to work the TV and Diane left us fresh fruit and delicious muffins in the morning

An unexpected treat was the fresh flowers that we found in our room! We recommend it highly!
