Stayed on evening of 2/18/22 Evening/night front desk person always had a smile and was helpful (I needed a charger for a phone) Morning breakfast was very good with a nice selection of choices

Room and hotel was clean Pool was closed due to maintenance (did not affect my stay) Might call and verify that the pool is back open if that is one reason for choosing this hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE We were traveling through the area when we started to have truck trouble It was a Sunday so we couldn’t find a mechanic until morning

The young lady and young man who checked us in were very helpful and caring to our situation We rented a cabin for one night with the understanding we might have to stay longer depending on what was wrong with the truck We agreed to discuss the status with them by 11am on Monday I went to the desk at 11am to notify them I would need a late check out as the truck was being worked on An older lady at the desk was extremely rude and said if we were not out by noon they would charge us another day I asked if I could just put our things outside while we waited for my boyfriend to pick us up She said no either I move the things or get charged There was a heat advisory in the area but I lugged three loads of things up a gravel road to where our trailer was parked with one child and two dogs She said we could bring our things to the commons area but that was twice the distance away I barely made it to the parking lot We sat out in the heat for 40 minutes My boyfriend picked us up at 12:27 When we finally got on the road we had to stop at another hotel for a few hours just to rest and cool down as the dogs and I were not doing well The heat was just too muchThe absolute rudeness by the older lady and the manager was unbelievableThe area/cabins really could be nice if managed properly The rustic look was nice The pool and play area were nice The cabin was dirty, outdated, and smelled To top it off there was a large party in the yard making a bunch of noise until about midnight then there were mice in the kitchen that woke us up in the middle of the night Stay clear!!

I’ve stayed at the Smokehouse many times over the years A few more times as well after the restaurant burned down I’ve always a had a very pleasant time

Preferably I usually like to book a of the cabin Stayed in almost every one of them One, two, three bedroom All of them have a large jacuzzi, a fireplace that comes with the wood, full kitchen, a TV if you want to turn it on You’re tucked out in the back, away from everyone It’s pretty good It’s worth it Especially in the off season You can get em half off Sun – Thurs It’s the move But, if you’re just stopping in to sleep for the night Rooms inside the main hotel are nice too I got a double smoking room for just over $60 a night Fri Sat Sun, in the beginning of February It was exactly what I expected Better than Motel 6, better than Super 8 They cost about the same Yes it’s dated Whatever The staff have always been very friendly and helpful and the room and bed have always been clean Enough to my standards It’s a place to lay your head after enjoying any of the many outdoor adventures and activities the mountain and surrounding areas have to offerRecently I’ve been staying frequently in the main hotel I have noticed the bit of decline in quality of clean but it’s still better than the other places just down and across the street Smokehouse fan for life

Not what you should get for $175/night All hotels in the Tullahoma area are overpriced but the Hampton is about the most expensive of the offerings When I checked into my room, I discovered a used wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, long hair in the tub and counter and a used eye mask laying in the floor

The shower curtain rod is mounted so high that it is impossible to keep the curtain inside the bath tub and not flood the bathroom floor I certainly expected more for $175/nightI am a longtime road warrior and not particularly sensitive to this kind of BS but when a hotel is gouging AND is dirty, that is a bit too much Hampton Inn (or other Hilton properties) is my go to chain in most other marketsIf this were the Baymont at $75 this wouldn’t be a big surprise but an overpriced Hampton Inn at $175/night should do better removing the previous occupants stuffI know that everybody is having a hard time with staffing but come on, someone should have noticed all this very obvious stuff AND it calls the overall cleanliness/sanitation of the property into question

Jim Kent

Rooms are as expected at a Hampton Inn, although the bathrooms are outdated That’s where anything good ends This locations policies are dated, they don’t know what the ADA is or how to follow it, and their desk service and management make mistakes and are rude or outright dishonest and disrespectful

We experienced this service on 2 different visits, and would rather stay at a hotel of less quality than them again

Our family stayed at this same location and had the same room twice within two weeks The first time was great The room was clean and nothing negative can be said

The lady checking us in was very helpful on both occasions The second stay was completely different The carpet looked unvaccumed, there was food left in the hideaway, crumbs were on a bed and something sticky was on and around the bathroom light switch If my second experience was my first we would not have stayed again Breakfast was decent, did the job Location was close to the interstate and parking is easy You may want to make reservations ahead of time if you plan arriving later in the evening

B

Good room for the price The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft The room was very clean

The black out curtains were a big fail Also, the breakfast was almost nonexistent There was cereal and yogurt but besides beverages that was about it There was a waffle maker but no batter Normally I wouldn’t care because we would eat somewhere else but it was a holiday weekend so most breakfast places were closed

100% recommendation Clean, quiet, and well maintained Front desk employees were friendly, helpful, and fast

Check in and check out was quick and easyWe stayed two nights while my mom moved; one night in a regular room and one night in a pet friendly room Both rooms were nice although there was a slight maintenance difference in the pet friendly room which makes perfect sense

These place was wonderful! As a military family we travel a lot and we have dogs One in a service animal and one is a pet Usually we end up in unclean places and subpar facilities

This place felt like an enchanted castle by comparison My kids and husband loved the pool The room was white glove clean The staff were very friendly and attentive The beds were like sleeping on clouds! Then the breakfast had a large variety and even that space was kept constantly clean We will definitely be back on our next drive through I only wish we could stay at a place this nice every time we travel

I work over the road, and have stayed at a hundred inexpensive motels at this (their off-season) price pointThey are obviously undergoing extensive renovations; I’m not sure if this means they are under new management, but I believe that to be trueThe accommodations they provided me are by far THE VERY BEST ACCOMMODATIONS AT THIS PRICE POINT that I have ever had!The room was large, immaculate, and smelled absolutely wonderful

The Proprietress was warm, welcoming, engaged, and lovely Yes, there were some stacks of fresh lumber lying around in the yard — signs of on-going work — but even the new lumber was the highest qualityI can’t recommend this hotel enough; I feel intensely fortunate to have found this gem, and will absolutely return, even if I have to go a hundred miles out of my wayI wish I could stay longer, trulyFifteen of five stars

Mandy Mechelle

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional I stayed here while working overnight and the front desk personnel was very understanding and flexible and always made sure I had anything I needed The rooms are clean and well cared for

There was plenty of clean, fresh linens whenever I requested Overall – great stay, definitely recommend

Jordan Rippey

Do NOT waste your money at this place Most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been to The door wouldn’t open correctly and the lock was broken

The room reeked of cigarettes and mildew The carpet was old and damp and looked like it had never been cleaned I peeled back the sheets to check them and found blood, dirt, and hair The sink was full of gross water that wouldn’t drain I went to the office to complain and they offered fresh sheets but they couldn’t offer me a new room because they were fully booked By the time I got back to the room it smelled so bad of septic you couldn’t breath without gagging I asked for a refund We left Never got my money back

Not sure what most of the people that have stayed in this Motel cause this not a Hotel but these rooms are by far the most disgusting rooms I’ve ever stayed in traveling

the carpet had nasty stans in it and I never seen lamp covers with stans in them but it looked so nasty Checking out the drews in the rooms and they all had some type of ashes in them just not a good Morel to stay in at all

One of the best priced hotels in town I am perfectly ok with the flaws it’s an older hotel what do u expect if you are looking for something perfect go pay the extra money but works well for my needs love the fact u can smoke in smoking rooms plus a fridge and microwave and cable

Of course it’s outdated but for the price and the comfort and location alone it’s great!!! the best mex restaurant is just out front as well as a wing joint and pharmacy etc prim location if your not a picky type stay if not your loss everything has defects

I stayed at this location for only one night during a cross country trip I arrived late and checked in at a night windowThe man at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly

It was refreshing to be welcomed so warmly after 14 hours on the roadThe room was clean It seems to have gone under some renovation recently as it was modern and fresh looking The bathroom was a bit dated, but I wasn’t spending inordinate amounts of time in there so this was fineThere seemed to be some sketchy clientele, but I assume they paid for a room like everyone else so they had every right to be there and our stay was uneventful so it’s mostly me just being suspiciousThe price point was perfect and I feel like I got just what I expected for such a rateThe bed was comfortable, somewhere between firm and soft It was supportive without being a rock The linens were clean and the room was tidy and free of issuesI did have a slight issue with the shower curtain that caused a slight flood in the bathroom that I had to soak up with a towel, but that could have been user error (I like to think I’ve mastered shower curtains at 47 years old, but again I was exhausted and may have botched it)I would stay here again on my next jaunt from TX to PAThank you for making a road-weary traveller feel welcomed after a stressful drive

BRISTOLENTERPRISES

The front desk staff was wonderful and I would rate them 5 stars The room was comfortable and had what we needed I would highly recommend the rooms with the jetted tub

They are very spacious The handicapped access parking could be better Our area had only one parking spot There was more than one vehicle that needed this access Also, at times people would park there without a permit or plate There was no way to identify who was occupying the space to have them move their car I would definitely stay there again

Glenn Hotz

I would give a zero if it was available We have stayed at Red Roof Hotels from Florida to Indiana We had to make an emergency trip because my mother in law is in critical condition and not expected to live a few more days

We always choose them because they are pet friendly We have 3 small dogs and they always travel with us The parking lot was empty but they only had 2 rooms available Their room rate was extremely inflated, most are at 55 to 65 a night The best rate they could give me was 88 a night and this was at 2am in the morning and checkout is at 11am I agreed, then she asked if we had pets and I told her 3 small dogs under 20 pounds Then she started she couldn’t help me, they only take 1 dog All Red Roofs should have to follow the same guidelines but their franchise allows them to make their own rules So we ended up driving another 3 hours to our final destination

In 50 years of traveling and staying in motels hotels around the world this “Quality inn” has to be one of the least maintained in all my travels Check in took approximately 30 to 45 minutes, the initial room which was supposed to be a no smoking turned out somebody had apparently smoked a cigar in this room Another 15 minutes later we got another room and it looked fairly well until we check the bathroom

Hair dryer was piled on the sink torn off the wall coffee pot had not been cleaned turn the water on in the sink and I just sat there oh, the stopper was sitting on the sink You can see from the pictures the amount of hair that was clogged in there I unclog that with a coffee stirrer and it actually ran down the drain Looking in the shower there had to be a handful of hair over the drain there This place has a serious lack of housekeeping Went to the front office because one of the washcloths was stained and wanted to request another one and also to get an ice bucket which was non-existent in the room After another 20 minutes of trying to locate an ice bucket, the lady at reception took me back to the first room we were in and gave me an ice bucket which walking back I noticed was sticky as all get-out like somebody has sprayed orange soda all over it and it was never cleaned So I washed it out to in order to get some ice If you ever decide to stay at this place get ready should have stayed down at the Best Western for $20 more WATCH your BILL, I was double charged and it was a good thing I checked that morning before checkout because they had to call the owner in order to rectify the mistake

Courtney Comfort

Check in was at 3, we got there at 3:03, were told the room wasn’t ready We left and came back 40 minutes later to the room being “ready” After checking in we went to see the room

The floor was sticky, half eaten strawberries were left in the fridge and a few on the floor The bathroom area smelled like a public bathroom The smell wasn’t like sewage it just smelled like a dirty bathroom The cleaning staff from what I could see clearly didn’t care about their job Very slow moving and obviously cant cleanThe on duty manager was very polite, the other staff was less than professionalThey aired their frustration openly about a cleaning person not doing their job And how they were short staffed Then tried to ease the tension by claiming they’re a small town I don’t see how that makes any difference it’s a business The up side, the manager called the owner to ask about refunding my money She called about 10 minutes later saying the owner would refund the reservation and she was so sorry for the inconvenience Over all the outside was adorable which was what attracted me to the hotel in the first place It honestly appeared to me that money was spent updating they just didn’t update what truly mattered The rooms and maybe better wages to attract better employees I do hope they can fix the problems there because it really has tons of potential Right now it is not even worth $111 a night A more accurate rate would be $50 a night

Brooke Galbraith

Single mother traveling with two children checks into her room finds an adjacent door that anyone can come into from the other side no lock on my door to my room burn holes in all the covers in a non-smoking room hot water didn’t work when I called to get any help I was greeted with very rude customer service none of my problems seem to matter They literally just want your money and don’t give two s**** about the rest I will never stay here again

Comfortable, clean, and quiet I like how you can set a fan to run all night for white noise The blackout curtains are fantastic for keeping the room nice and dark

Sheets are soft and beds are comfortableBreakfast is good but I think it is unsanitary to set the serving tongs inside the food container on top of the food (this is how they set up the hot food items like the omelets) Very good coffeeThe pool is not heated, and the staff indicated that pool temperature is somehow related to outside temp It was 52 degrees the night of our stay and the pool was too cold for my kids – they would not even fully submerse themselves, much less burn off excess energy like I had hoped they would when I booked a hotel with a pool

We have been staying here consistently for for 3 years now for trips between Tampa and Chicago, and my love for this place continues to growNothing beats a wholehearted, loving welcome, and that is what Kathy at the front desk gives us time and time again My golden retriever, Bohdi, absolutely loves her and is so comfortable here

Kathy saw our name on the reservation list and went out the night before to pick up special treats for him that she had ready for him when we walked in She also blocks off our favorite room at the end of hall for us so we can get outside easily The love and hospitality she has for her guests is truly above and beyond It’s what makes us excited for every visit and makes this place really special for us

This hotel was amazing We had a fantastic experience with staff The room was very clean and no sign of bugs anywhere

The AC worked amazingly at keeping us ice cubes all night! When we asked for extra blankets, they gave them right away, not making us ask multiple times Overall this was a great experience and I definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling
