This hotel was nice and clean throughout That goes for the room we stayed in friendly staff

Breakfast was good and had plenty to choose from Pool area was clean and spacious The public restroom in the lobby was nice and clean also The reason I didn’t rate it a five star was because we were not impressed by how beat up our room door looked It may not sound like a big deal but first impression is everything and it just made the hotel look a little tacky Overall it was a good experience

We stayed at The Hampton in Roger, MN and Robert is an amazing asset to this company! He went above and beyond from getting us a room with a great rate to bringing towels within minutes of requesting them! Always smiling and accommodating! He is a valuable employee for your establishment! All because of him, we will stay here again and again when we visit MN!

If there were zero stars, that would be more appropriate In March, we reserved 10 rooms for our state meet in June We confirmed the week prior with our group reservation sales rep and moved the reservation to our athletic director’s card

When we arrived, they didn’t have rooms for us Every hotel was booked that weekend and our kids, who worked extremely hard to qualify for the state meet, had to wait for hours until we finally found a hotel in Plymouth (The Crown Plaza was AMAZING, btw!) The management did not help us find a place after they lost our reservation and we never got an explanation for what happened We were in a terrible situation and didn’t feel like the hotel helped us find a solution, nor did they offer us anything for their mistake Our kids deserved so much better than that!

The STAFF goes above and BEYOND! While staying here my rental car battery died I had a doctor appointment we flew into town for in 20 minutes and I asked for help Toni the front receptionist was so kind, jumped into action, she got me a ride from Dan the main person (also very friendly) and my daughter and I got to our appointment! while we were there at our appointment (Spencer another staff member) jumped and moved my rental car to the back lot and recharged my battery! They also told us to call for a ride back to the hotel once the appointment was over and we did! Dan picked us up and gave us a ride back!! i can’t even believe the kindness of the staff at this location! Truly saved the day and what a blessing! My daughter and I loved the themed hotel, decor, pool and arcade area! We had a blast while staying here

The coffee was good, the breakfast was yummy and for the price it was worth every penny! The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable We’ve stayed in many hotels but never had such a warm and welcoming experience 10/10!!!Thank you Toni, Dan and Spencer for being so kind and such blessings to us today!

Amazing hotel Staff was very welcoming and friendly Hot tub and pool where clean and they provided towels for us to use at the pool

Indoor outdoor connection pool was fun for the kids Breakfast was wonderful and they kept everything full Rooms are good sized and clean My family included a teen and a 3 year old and both had a fun time The hotel it self was clean and the decor was wonderful They have a rustic decor style I would most definitely stay there again

I really like this hotel I picked this hotel for a family reunion and the hotel staff were very accommodating There were 13 of us and we were able to hang out in the lobby seating that they have there

There were also other random seating around the hotel The pool was down, but they did let me know in advance and they had an alternative pool that we could use The rooms were very clean We didn’t have room service as it wasn’t neededMy only complaint would be that I didn’t love the layout of the rooms, but nothing can be done about that I just prefer the sink to be on the outside of the bathroom There was a fridge and a microwave in the room They also only put 2 towels in the 2 queen bed room and I thought that was odd, but all we had to do was ask the front desk for another one You will also hear people in the hallways So if you hate that then don’t stay here I couldn’t hear anything from the rooms next door, only noises coming from the hallway

I had stayed here over superbowl weekend and had a really good stay here There was a breakfast with hot items It was super quiet

The staff was great, especially the afternoon gentleman Sunday and Monday I didn’t catch his name, but he brought me a microwave after I was bummed that the room did not have one If I’m ever back to town for work, I will be staying again Thank you!

Prairie Island Campground is the nicest campground we have ever stayed at The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the owners have a community garden on site There’s a stage for live music, bikes and boats to use, the tiny houses they rent out are really cool and we have enjoyed camping in our vintage camper here

They have a disc golf course on site, there’s a dog park across the street within walking distance and the campground is right on the Mississippi River They owners are amazing people, what’s not to love? I highly recommend staying at Prairie Island and look forward to our return

Linda Spataro

A friend and I camped here it two 24ft RVs on riverfront sites and it was a beautiful view! The people at the store were very nice and it was a welcoming atmosphere The grounds were clean and well taken care of My only lack of 5 stars was there there were dogs off leash, one wandered into my site and I had to call out to the owners a few sites over that it was loose, and another right by the road entrance and exit playing as we were pulling out, with its owner

Also the sites are completely open and close to each other, but comfortable enough for a table and fire pit, so expect that It has a great vibe though and we would definitely stay again

Leonard Young

The small homes are a paradise! They treated us like royalty So much peace and quiet Stayed a whole week had no problems at all! Would recommend to any small family for a peaceful time

Plenty to do They have tons of stuff to rent Awesome sunsets and river front You will not regret it The hospitality is next level everyone so friendly Truly a gem on Mississippi River

If you are a patient, looking for rest then your money will be more wisely spent elsewhere We endured pounding on the roof by roofers (& room next door by maintenance), dirt inside of the dresser, hairdryer that didn’t work, empty box of kleenex & housekeeping that walked into our room TWICE before we left

even after advising the front desk of our exact departure time For this kind of money, we could have stayed somewhere cleaner & quieter

Tom Free

Broken air conditioner in the first room I had and needed to move Bed bug infestation in the second room they gave me And yes I have pics of my body to show literally dozens of bites

Staff said they were aware We all know if they’re in one room they’re in all the rooms Staff was okay Not very friendly but not exceptionally rude either They do have pull through parking that is trailer friendly for those of us pulling something Personally I’m generally a Radisson guy but it’s extremely unlikely I’ll stay at this location again

Sarah R

Very disappointed, I called country inn & suites SOUTH, made reservations for 2 nights Arrived at SOUTH and they had no reservation for us Desk clerk called NORTH and our reservation was at the NORTH country inn & suites

I double checked and triple checked the phone number I called and it was the SOUTH locations number So how did we end up at the NORTH location? The desk clerk who made our reservations earlier tis evening was going to send me a confirmation via email and she never didprobably because she booked us to the wrong location! We booked SOUTH because that is where we always stay and it’s closer to the shopping we do after appointments But since we had no choice in staying at the south location, we arrive at NORTH just to find out the hot tub is broke down, not operational which is totally unacceptable since we like to relax in the evenings in the hot tub! Talk about a major disappointmentVery disappointed over all

Hallways filled with dirty wet towels, sheets and other things laying around Pool was broken the whole 6 days we were there Very disappointing

We were charged more than our quote said, and manager was very unhelpful and rude Reception desk was always empty and had to wait very long amounts of time ringing there phone to get any help Leaky showers, causing bathrooms to flood every time when used We wished it was a better stay, but unfortunately it was not Would not suggest staying here, unless you want your stays cost to change and an unsanitary environment

Benjamin Dale

Overall, recommended Clean, friendly, quiet, pool, central location, great prices… Hits all the marks And the only hotel in Waconia (that I know of) so thankfully it’s a good one

Would’ve given five stars except NewsMax is regularly playing in the Lobby Hopefully they can make their hotel great again and figure that foolish problem out

We had an excellent stay here the past two nights!!! When we arrived, we were a little off put by the parking situation and also where the spot was for pets to use the bathroom (across the street in a downtown area in a small park by a parking lot) When we originally booked, we called the hotel and were given some different information regarding those two items, perhaps a miscommunication, so after driving over 14 hours and realizing those things was irritating at first, but the hotel staff and accommodations more than made up for it!The bell hop staff are all very quick and thorough with everything, and so super friendly! We ordered room service a few times, and all of those experiences were super easy and delicious! The hotel itself is very clean, modern, kept up with, and anytime we were down in the lobby, the staff was cleaning Taking our dog potty was no issue at all as there is always someone at the front doors and the park is very well lit

I never once felt unsafe when taking her out! The hotel is also super quiet, so when we had our doctor appointment, our pup was not scared being left for a couple hours We felt totally safe and secure! All in all, it was an excellent stay, and we would 100% stay here again if ever in the area! We wis all Hiltons had given us this same experience!

Shannon Porter

Excellent experience with hotel overall We were in the area for the mayo clinic and brought all 5 kids with us the hotel pool and hot tub are amazing Easy access to restaurants and mayo clinic building

The valet service is beyond exceptional from loading and unloading, valet parking, and transportation to mayo clinic hospital I highly recommend this hotel

John Koppenhaver

We had great service from the staff They helped me locate an Uber driver after I left my phone in the car Much appreciated! Over and above! The hotel is older, but is clean

Good fitness facilities But, there is nothing decent to eat within walking distance Count on getting a ride if you want any kind of decent food It would be appreciated to have shuttle service on the weekend, but the whole city seemed to struggle with staffing shortages

Sean Novack

Front desk staff was very rude, chatting when I came in and not stopping while I stood at the desk, interrupting me three times as I was trying to answer a question before I finally called them out on it, and then unable to process the card that I reserved with several days before There was no upgrade processed and I had to call my wife to get a different card that they say was declined but that I had no problem using anywhere elseMaybe they were having a bad day, but I was very unimpressed

The room was very warm on a hot day (79⁰ inside on a 90⁰ day) Bed was comfortable but the room was small for a 3 night stay If I hadn’t been solo it would not have worked

Overall a very good choice if you need a place to stay Good value for the money Would consider staying here again

Pros: 1 Excellent continental breakfast- one of the best i have had 2 Excellent front desk service on check inCons: 1 The pool heater was broken so the water was too cold to swim in This was a big disappointment as our biggest consideration in choosing a hotel was it having a pool 2 The hot water in the shower was very erratic The temperature would change from too hot to too cold without touching the knobIf I had the choice I would give a 4-1/2 star rating but since I can’t I will just give 4 stars as it would be a disservice to the true 5 star hotels to give the Fairfield the same rating

Debbie Chandler

I really like the Marriott hotels and I am an active member It was the first time that I was not acknowledged as a member when checking in Also, the staff was all very messy and lazy

We had no coffee in our room except for decaf and the lobby was also out of coffee when we went for breakfast Speaking of breakfast, I would not recommend it Super bad!!!The downtown location is nice because you can walk to several different venuesI will not be staying at this particular hotel again

Scott Mannebach

The hotel is located right near the Mississippi River a stone throw away from Minnesota It is located very conveniently to downtown LaCrosse, walking distance to everything from shops to bars, restaurants and anything you could need or want The front desk workers are extremely nice and helpful and the rest of the staff are as well

The cost of a room is more than reasonable

The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds & pillows (I even bought the same pillows after sleeping so well on them) The staff was incredible I was in town for surgery and my mom was with me due to anesthesia; they placed us on the 1st floor near the side door and checked in on me daily

How sweet is that? Breakfast was pretty good! The location was pretty central to everything and so convenient for us since we didn’t know where things were Great experience!

Bob E

I’m handicapped and can’t do stairs We requested a mobility access room (clearly identified on the confirmation) They booked us on the second floor with no elevator

Sorry we can’t change the room being you booked through a third party Couldn’t use the room had to book another on the first floor Contacted credit card company to refuse the charges It was denied This is how this place treats handicapped and disabled people I wonder how many others they did this too Karen the front desk manager is a phony And the breakfast sucks Anything good is gone by 8 and is not replenish The other positive reviews are fake

Nathan Rinehart

Pretty nice rooms they do offer a breakfast which is nice They have a pool and a hot tub that both work Lately alot of the hot tubs have been down at my last few places I have stayed

So was a plus for the hottub working The down falls aren’t many But the tvs were small, and I paid 10500 on a Thursday for a stay To me that’s like weekend rates

Front desk staff were very nice but

Not very clean and neighborhood looks dicey Clearly room wasn’t vacuumed well, sticky bath floor tiles (kept our shoes on), bath/main mirrors were never wiped down as well as chrome Kleenex holder Bath outlet was loose and dangled plugs Hallway was dark and looked same at night as well as in morning evidently, staff does not survey its premises very often Classifying this room as “icky” but nothing else available in town Great, hot shower and quiet 3rd floor room but not worth the $94 paid Waste of money herecontinue your search for a decent hotel room in Winona MN where you can relax without disgust
