We had a lovely one night stay in their dog friendly cottage Breakfast was outstanding Our cottage was very large and had a Jacuzzi tub

The ground are quite nice as well I’m not sure why people complain about their service because they’re a small family business You need to read their cancellation policy We had no issues and would stay there again The town is super nice

This place was perfect for our short stay to enjoy Langley with our two young daughters It was very hard to find a place that allowed our little ones, but not only did they allow it, the place was perfect The yard, the jacuzzi tub, the beds, the wet bar, it met all our needs, and was a very easy and beautiful walk to town

Jackie was SO friendly and welcoming It was perfect

Posting for my mother (per her words):My husband had planned a romantic 4-day getaway for my birthday and had chosen Country Cottage for our lodging We were both excited to get out of the city and celebrate Unfortunately, as is anyone’s worst fear, our vacation got cut short just hours after our arrival when my husband began exhibiting symptoms of a stroke

Terrified that he was having a stroke, I rushed him into the nearest ER where we spent the next 24 hours until he could be transported via ambulance to a hospital back in the city When the ER stabilized my husband and had arranged for ambulatory services back to the city, I headed back to our room, along with our kids (as they had driven up at this point) to gather our items and explain the situation As would be any person who just experienced someone they love having a medical emergency, I was still shaken and incredibly worried about my husband When I explained the circumstances to the owner’s, I received such a cold response that I was further shaken Not only were the owners not willing to reimburse any of our stay, they even had the audacity to insult my spouse There was no empathy or concern for the well-being of another human being Their only focus was on the monetary aspect of the situation They made a traumatic and horrific experience worst Please keep this in mind when you contemplate making a reservation at this location and if you do, hope you don’t have a medical emergency

The hotel was clean, rooms were modern, and the bed very comfortable The breakfast basket was awesome and I loved getting breakfast that way! However, the area is extremely noisy, with very loud sounds occurring all night (loud enough to wake you at 3 AM), and construction right outside I also had an unfortunate incident with staff where they entered my room (despite the do not disturb sign) while I was changing, and did not leave immediately when I screamed and tried to cover myself

The woman working the front desk was extremely kind and helpful and helped resolve the situation

Great stay, great room!Check-in and out was easy, staff was friendly We liked the contact-free complimentary breakfasts Pleasently surprised by presentation

We choose a king suite as my daughter and I traveled with our cousin on this trip Ample space We loved the fireplace! We had a couple of meals on the hotels outdoor lanai because it was nice and warm! Didn’t get to explore the hotel other than that but it does appear that there are a few meeting roomsA great space to come back to after a long day of visiting with other extended familyWe look forward to visiting again!

Had a wonderful stay here! We were welcomed by Tracy who was amazing! She was very friendly and helpful! Her personality easily started off our stay here on a great note Other than the nice rooms, she is one of the reasons we’d come back! The room was very clean and comfortable It has everything you need (coffee machine, toaster, microwave, tv, fridge)

My only complaint is that there was no options to have tea (herbal nor caffeinated) in the morningThe inn is located in a great location as it is walking distance from rest of the marina and restaurants I would recommend this place for a nice stay with your significant other or even for a family stay

Overall great experience Had an extended stay due to work and the staff here were great Everything from room cleanliness to the breakfast crew was great

Small workout room was perfect with up to date machines and provided towels with a dedicated water cooler Indoor pool with a jacuzzi worked well and was kept clean The water pressure was a little low but I could fit under the shower head so it really wasn’t much of an issue for me So many things within walking distance as well Thank you for a great experience

phyllis rothwell

Nice no frills hotelThe greatest breakfast ever! There was even an omelette bar!The room was clean and comfortable The staff was warm and welcoming

I was a little upset about the jets not working on the hot tub but ended up not using it anywayI would recommend this hotel to my friends

Angela Loushin

The Queen bed room was a good size and had comfortable beds Air conditioner worked, which was nice Room was clean, but I did notice they don’t vacuume under the skirt of the bed

Front desk service was good I did request towels and never received them though Pool was nice but globs of hair was around it, which was gross Hot tub jets weren’t working Breakfast buffet was good My one complaint is proper service precautions The servers and cooks weren’t wearing mask or gloves and one worker was sniffling, which made me nervous to eat the food At these times customers want to see more precautions taken Location is near restaurants, which was convenient

We just completed our stay there We had a pretty rough check in process with the front desk agent and the room The next morning I went and spoke to Hannah the manager and she immediately fixed the situation

No need to go into what was wrong because all that matters is her amazing ability to diffuse a situation and find immediate remedy I appreciate her diligence and follow up She was great to work with and made it where we went from a 0 star rating to a 5 star We will stay there again if we are ever up in that area We enjoyed working with Hannah and we also enjoyed the service by Ben in the restaurant He was super friendly and provided great service

Dana Pound

Great location for what my travel purpose was Easy access to I5, shopping, and restaurants The room was clean, and the bed was comfy

The pool & hot tub were nice, and it was nice to enjoy an hour that is reserved for adults only The guy at check in was friendly & knowledgeable, but the lady at check out struggled when I wanted to pay cash as the company had charged me 1 night and she didn’t know how to refund it At check in I was told I could pay cash for the entire stay but in the end the lady struggled so bad that I just told her I’d pay the remaining 1 night cash & leave the other on the credit card

Tina

EAR PLUGS NEEDED!!! I will never stay here again The staff was wonderful and the room was clean They told me my reserved room was not ready when I checked in at 9pm

But they upgraded me to a suite so everything was fine But Walls are too thin!! You can hear the couple in the room next door completely! My younger child was scared and I have to turn the TV as loud as it could go to cover the noise up Woke us up throughout the night Felt like I was at a cheap motel

It’s a really nice hotel with friendly staff and a nice secure gated parking option The room was really amazing! The beds were super comfortable and everything was really clean The bathroom and shower was very clean! My only complaint is that the microwave in the lobby was dirty but that’s definitely not a deal breaker

The free coffee was really good! We will definitely stay here again

Tony Sherman

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Delta Hotel in Everett The place was very clean, rooms were spacious, easy access to local freeway and majority of the staff was friendly They have a fairly nice breakfast buffet and nice little bar downstairs

The only negative was with Kelly, who was one of the staff who handled the breakfast buffet, was not very friendly I asked her for a to go coffee cup so I could take my coffee up to room and it was if I asked her for free breakfast for life! I saw her interact with other customers and all I can say is she should not be interacting with any customers Kelly aside, we had a nice stay and would definitely stay here again

hans lynch

Quite possibly the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in at this price point The interior of the hotel is simple but nice My room was excellent with a couch and sitting chair

Bed was super comfortable Overall very clean and spaciousThere is a restaurant/bar in the hotel which is above average Food is good and they have a reasonably good beer selection

Usually I’m not that picky and usually don’t write reviews I am compelled to do it this time The rooms were dirty

The sheets were also dirty Our sheets appeared to not have to been changed and the comforter was also dirty The floors were also really dirty Our TV was relatively new but didn’t work It mysteriously came on and was apparently being controlled by a remote in another room I ended up having to unplug it The elevator was broken I understand that since covid hit, it’s been tough to find staff and that certainly has an effect That said, we should still expect a basic level of cleanliness I would not stay at this hotel again There are better budget hotel choices out there

Leah F (Leah)

I’ve had accommodations at a few different Red Lion Locations, in Washington state Specifically, this one is on the smaller side & is barely pushing maybe a hundred rooms I suspect this is why it usually seems relatively calm & quiet around here

Please know, that at the time this review was written in the summer of 2022, the exercise equipment/room is being serviced & is temporarily unavailable (I will update when equipment is in use again It seems a rather drawn out process unfortunately) Front desk & ancillary staff: seem overall pleasant, with check in/out & other interactions with guests (& are even cool with their guest’s temporary visitors) Housekeeping: cleanliness & upkeep of the rooms seem standard & meet my expectations I’m loving the rather large TV As well as the contemporary decor It’s kind of disappointing your snacks & drink supply isn’t kept stocked

Brianna Bartolini

Quite honestly the worst hotel I’ve been to in my life We check in at 11pm, assuming there was plenty of time to get the room ready, and the lady says, sorry but her housekeepers didn’t clean my room so she has to go do it really quick and to give her 10 minutes We gave her 20 and come in to her still cleaning which was fine, but she said she had only been able to do the bathroom

There was “substance” all over the headboard as well the the chair There were crumbs on the carpet It was filthy The lady let me know they only had bedding to make 1 of the beds in our 2 bed room so I said that was fine I actually felt bad for her as she was clearly understaffed on a full night But I pull back the sheets of the “made” bed and there are what appear to be ashes in the sheets I asked her for new bedding and made it myself After the 2 hour ordeal of the very dirty room, I try to turn on the TV and it does not work I ask the (now) man at front for help after messing with it for 20 minutes and he says he can not get it to work I let him know about how nasty everything has been and show him, and he offers to give us the night for free I said thank you and went to bed When I woke I checked my bank account and saw I was charged DOUBLE, aka for 2 rooms PLUS the deposit I went to the front and the different man said that no refund had been issued and offered to issue me a refund for 1 room (half the cost) After another 30 minutes of back and forth he finally said he refunded the full amount It did take 3 days but finally got my refund The lady Meghn, was very sweet and she really tried her best to help out but the housekeepers need some training Also breakfast room was closed until further notice Strong smell of smoke through building

This part of my review explicitly refers to room 129: it is a handicap accessible room on the first floor The location is perfect, the room is large and easy to get around in I was disappointed that online it showed it had a couch in it, but upon arrival it only had an uncomfortable chair

Now, this room is located right next to the laundry room and an exterior access door You hear doors slamming all night long It’s not the patrons fault, these doors are heavy and they tend to slam shut My other complaint about this room is the shower First the shower head merely dribbles, there is NO pressure and i never felt very clean after showering The second complaint is, there is a drain in the floor in the shower and one next to the shower As this is a handicap accessible room there’s no barrier to keep water from getting everywhere, however, the water dribbles out of the shower onto the floor and runs out into the main hallway of the room, never reaching this floor drain In time this will cost the hotel quite a bit of damage The refrigerator & microwave worked just fine The bed is comfortable but the pillows left quite a bit to be desired, no supportThe second part of this post is about room 511: This room is quite small, felt really tight Beds were comfortable, the room was very quiet Also has a beautiful view of the forest behind the building Again the beds are comfortable and the pillows lack support, but at least it had a big beautiful bathtub and decent water pressure I should also note in both rooms they give you plenty of pillowsNow onto the staff: everyone I had interacted with at this hotel was amazing From housekeeping, to food prep, hosts, everyone was super friendly and helpful I brought my daughter down for breakfast each morning, one morning she was not happy with the selection, a staff member asked if she would like a PB&J sandwich that she had in the back, and fetched it for her These interactions happened a few times during our stay and it was very touching and appreciated I had one more note: during my 3 week stay there was bacon served at breakfast ONE time It was fantastic bacon, i wish they could have served it a bit more oftenI did enjoy our stay here and definitely do recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Just avoid room 129, hopefully they see this post and are able to do something about the water drainage/pressure in this room

Ryan F

The hotel itself was really nice The staff were kind The room flowed well, had a great tub and temperature

I was working and concerned about my van in the lot No issues The night I stayed I couldn’t hardly fall asleep due to a couple fighting and arguing Eventually police were called While the building was 5 star My experience overall was not I’d stay here again

OnAGoodDay Kate

I recently stayed at this hotel, I was a long-term guest, and the staff made my stay feel like a home-away-from-hime! The amenities are great, check-in was seem less, and housekeeping (especially Lindsay) was A+ everyday My only complaint/concern, I left a tip each day for Lindsay, and out of 22 days, she only saw one I’m not sure why she didn’t get her tops, but management really should look into that

Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Very nice people Beds comfortable got room with queen bed Unfortunately the room didn’t have a tub

Weird shower head with limited strength spray, hard to get my hair rinsed I gave 4 stars for service because people were gone by 6:00 so can’t get anything special Although they aim to please Complimentary breakfast tasty No coffee in room Limited parking behind property I like more amenities I probably would not returnCame to Whidbey to celebrate a friends life after passing

The Jolly Noggle (The Jolly Noggle)

This place is wonderfully cute The rooms were clean and nicely decorated in simple modern style decor The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower

The bed was too firm for my taste, but that is par for the course for the vast majority of hotel beds ive been in, as well as knowing that i prefer softer beds than most, so i wont ding them for that The pillows were fine, but if you are picky bring your own favorite pillow The breakfast was a highlight and worth getting up for It is very close to everything worth doing in langley, so this inn is beyond convenient

Anne Stiffler

We arrived on a December evening after a wind storm The Inn has its own generator so while not every light in the room was powered, more than enough were on so as to make the room comfortable to be in Also, the staff member at the reception desk stayed a couple of hours beyond their shift to make sure that all late arrivals were taken care of

He also handed out flashlights Thank you Austin! Also, the breakfasts are amazing! They are all vegetarian You can choose between 4 items or have all 4 on your plate You can also request toast, english muffins and/or oatmeal Good food, a clean room with a comfortable bed, a gas fireplace (at least in our room), easy walking distance to Langley’s shops, and a generator to deal with Whidbey Island’s winter windstorms Perfect

A very nice clean hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful It has a lovely pool and hot tub Our room was clean and organized

The breakfast was great, with a nice selection of items, hot and coldA great hotel if you can’t get into the casino or want a cheaper alternative There is also a free shuttle bus to the casino and bingo hall But be aware it can get busy with sport events teams My only criticism is the parking stalls are a little too narrow and parking can be limited

Charlie Liu

I was pleasantly surprised about this hotel The price was actually on the low side, so I was pretty skeptical about renting it out for a night The location is awesome since it is right off the freeway, and there are some food options about 10 feet away

The parking was plenty for most part, and the staff told me that I could park downstairs in an enclosed parking lot that requires an active hotel key The rooms were clean, and they had a lot of free drink options as well as a good water fountain for refilling reusable water containersWe called and got an early check-in, which the staff allowed us to check in as early as 11am – completely unheard of especially during a holiday weekend where all the rooms were supposedly rented outWhere I was caught off guard was actually their breakfast Holy heck it was a feast I normally don’t associate inexpensive hotels with food but their gravy and biscuits were top notch – paired with sausages and scrambled eggs – I had to fight myself to not eat moreOverall, very pleased with our stay Looking forward to coming back here on our next trip up to Canada

Michael Batu

The staff were very nice and accommodating The breakfast wasn’t bad Parking is complimentary

The area is fairly safe just in case you’re concerned leaving your car in their parking lot Great location: near Tulalip casino, outlet mall, and lots of good restaurants nearby The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the washroom toilet is not 100% clean when we checked in Also the building itself looks old and inside it smells like an old building Other than that everything is good! Will definitely check in again

The Cascadia is an older property that is very well maintained and managed Our check-in could not have gone better We were clued in as to a good place to park near a useful entrance for the quiet room that we had requested

All expected options were available at a well presented very typical complimentary breakfast We stayed three days and found it to be completely satisfactory Although we started staying here because we had friends in Everett, we continued our stay and used it as a base of operations for tourist activities in Seattle The hotel is but a 20-minute drive to a light rail free park and ride lot The train goes directly into the city

Liz McRary

The room was made available early which was very convenient for us It was clean, and smelled nice Checking in was easy and the location was convenient for easy access to Mcmenamins concerts, hiking, and other activities

Check out was at noon which is really nice when trying to relax on a trip Overall, I would Totally book a stay here again

Connor N.

Well-maintained, fairly quiet rooms with super friendly front desk staff Some road noise does get through the windows and conversations can be heard through room doors, but activity is pretty rare during normal sleeping hours Hallways and stairwells occasionally smell of smoke, but to no fault of the hotel or their staff

Overall a great selection for an affordable and comfortable hotel near downtown Everett!

I’ve been wanting to stay here for a while, but finally did it! This place was really nice, a lot to look at whether in daylight or at night My favorite part was the colored water fountains shooting out of the ground at night Only part that I think could have been better was the size of the room

I imagined it to be bigger, but was pretty small for a hotel room at that price Other than that, it was a great experience, even the food in the hotel restaurant was great You should definitely check it out!

Nancy Zabel

The staff was wonderful, especially the servers in the Jetty restaurant Limited staffing so they were working 12 hour shifts but they were still friendly The food was good

That’s the only thing we liked about this $$$ hotelHalls are VERY noisy because doors must slam to close and all voices echo loudly It’s very hard to squeeze into the shower because the shower door leaves no room The rolling bathroom door smashed our friend’s hand No amenities- no paper, pens or local information in the rooms The phone didn’t work, we told them but it wasn’t looked into We had to turn off the heat/air because the fan blew cold air even when we turned up the heat Not enough cleaning staff so we didn’t get fresh towels or cupsThere were 20 of us in our group staying at this hotel and we all felt the same We checked out a day early

Bonni van de Wouw

Came for a one night stay for spring break with my kids Arrived for check in at 3pm, our room wasn’t ready yet There was a shift change and the receptionist didn’t know we were waiting (?) so we continued to wait until I finally asked if our room was ready and it was (30 minute wait)

Room was nice Housekeeping staff was so friendly and sweet Breakfast at the Jetty restaurant was underwhelming Only one waitress on shift Had to wait to be seated when the dining room only had three tables seated They were out of wheat bread, apple juice 🙁 When I got my breakfast my potatoes were cold/old and my omelette was watery Coffee wasn’t hot Pool was great Kids loved it Although in the morning they were out of clean towels For the price of the room, I’m not sure I’d return

Tulalip Resort is a wonderful place to stay for a few days or more You should spend more than just one day/night because it’s just not enough time to enjoy everything this resort has to offer The casino is the best in the area

I like to gamble and this casino is not only the nicest, but it has a bigger payout than I’ve experienced at other casinos The customer service is amazing at Tulalip The employees definitely go above and beyond to make your stay is a good one The pool is beautiful and so fun for the kids The gift shops are my favorite – from the designer purses and handbags, to the gorgeous jewelry, I own so many things from there!Oh! And the food! INCREDIBLE! There are so many different options, depending on what you’re hungry for Journey’s has the best Asian cuisine I recommend the Scallops and Sui Mai The pizza place has the best pizza I’ve ever eaten Ordered and made as you watch So many other restaurants to choose fromA+++++!

Everyone we encountered was very helpful and polite My guy and I, had breakfast on Monday at the Cedar Cafe The host said it will be a 45 minute wait

I was surprised at how long it would be because it did not look busy So what else do you do when the wait is that long Play the slots My guy sat with me while I played and within 10 minutes I won a couple hundred Of course I cashed out and at the same time our buzzer for our table went off, perfect timing We were seated, and the server was a nice young lady I got a bacon, ham, and mushroom omelette w/ hash brown and instead of toast I got a single pancake My guy got the chicken fried steak, no gravy because he doesn’t like the white gravy The omelette was very good and to me, it was a huge serving I only finished half We had coffee, orange juice and apple juice The morning started off fantastic and after breakfast, of course we hit the outlet and got lots of fabulous goodies 🙂 It was an amazingly wonderful day Can’t wait to go again!

What lovely surprise We came to Langley without reservations and checked out a few places before we discovered that the Langley Motel had an opening We stayed in room 1 and it was cute, clean, cozy and close to everything to do in town

Our room was a two room suite with a well-equipped kitchenette The staff were so welcoming and helpful I don’t know when we’ll be in Langley again, but we will happily stay here

I’ve stayed at the Langley Motel a couple times (both in Room 1) and have enjoyed my stay both times There is a full kitchen which divides the two sleeping areas There’s a main bedroom then the living/dining area has the second bed

Coffee is provided for the 10-12 cup coffeemaker and the front patio is perfect for getting some work done, reading or just relaxing Quick walk to downtown Langley which is a major plusNote the bathroom only has a shower stall and there’s no curtain or partition between kitchen and living area / bedroom (though main bedroom has a door)

If you’re looking for an affordable option in Langley, look no further While by no means fancy, this Motel is comfortable, clean, charming, and terrific for long staysI cannot praise the manager Nicole enough

I have MS and limited mobility, and she helped sort out how best to make a solo trip work for me Above and beyond the call of duty! I am so grateful
