Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let downI love my room! I’m staying in one of the balcony rooms Staff offers high-level service and appears to have thought of many details to make it a nice stay… I personally observed the restaurant giving an on the run guest a banana no charge for a quick breakfast and there is a unique coffee station in the hall on my floor

Brandon Greer

Fantastic stay!!! Everyone was nice , the atmosphere was cool We ate at the restaurant and the food was great!!! We stayed in one of the themed suites (Champagne Villa), did not disappoint My girlfriend arrived before I did and I requested that they send something up nice while she waits , and they did (champagne, strawberries, & some coffee)

My lady also went and got a massage in the ZaSpa , she loved it Nothing to complain about here, it is a very nice boutique hotel and we will definitely be back

KIKI BARBER

If you have kids under 40” skip this place and check into the Great Wolf I attended a conference but kids were too small for slides One person maximum going down slides and 300# weight limit(was no where near limit)

Had a three year old that loves slides but he wouldn’t go down by himself like you can at Great Wolf Reception/Staff was not very knowledgeable about water park kept referencing the map Guidelines do not list a one at a time rule Tons of cute things in hotel for kids but posted notes that they are for pictures only, no climbing/touching Two kid meals on menu Again had to reference website for more options Indoor pool is part of a spa and people getting spa stuff done groan on kids actually playing Outdoor pool is hot Weather was over a hundred Nothing inside hotel was for kids except a tiny place you could paint a small cheap canvas or put something together Great wolf is literally next door Valet is high if you don’t use it I will definitely stay at Great Wolf next time and use valet to park Three hour wait on dinner was insane I wish I had known

Glenda Delling

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone was super nice and helpful So many things to do! The shuttles to see the shows were great and the drivers were super cool! My only complaint is that we did not get our room cleaned the last two days we were there and our coffee supplies had run out I called the front desk and they delivered more coffee after about a 30 minute wait

I really need my coffee in the morning! I guess I should have called the night before but I was too exhausted from all the fun!

NeverMask Beauty

Stayed here and found our room ready early, which was quite nice Room was clean overall with comfortable & fluffy beds (2-queens), plenty of towels, high pressure shower and not far from elevator Service is super friendly too, here! The hotel is beautiful all over with it’s spacious gardens, water fountains, coffee shops and more

Four tickets for their water park were included which was awesome great water park with slides, zip lining, splash pad and more! I highly recommend it, even if it’s just for a nice walk around the hotel and having a refreshing cup of coffee with a loved one! 🌺🍃

This is a really nice resort and a great place for families The rooms are nice and clean and you have plenty of room The facilities around the resort are excellent

The place is beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of work into building and maintaining the resort There are restaurants, five pools, and a nice area for taking a long nature hike The location is really good if you want to get out of the city It’s in the hill country and overlooks the city and is close and convenient to a couple of big theme parks The service is pretty good although we did have some questions with room service, as our order didn’t come as ordered and even when they brought up other parts of the order it was still missing I played golf here on another visit and the course is beautiful A must play in San Antonio La Cantera is a resort and you will pay resort fees and the rooms are expensive Having said that, you’re getting an amazing experience at a beautiful resort

Heather Haglund

We had a wonderful time here with our family last weekend The resort is beautiful and the amenities were to notch The staff was very helpful across the board

We loved the pool area with so many options from kids pool to adult only pool All of the restaurants were delicious, especially the mid day ice cream break! It’s hard to believe you are right in the middle of a major city while you are at La Cantera- it truly is a peaceful getaway Looking forward to our next stay!

Ashekia Pinckney

The resort is beautiful to look at It definitely has all the things you would want at a resort except a comfortable bed!! Omg, I have never had worst sleep in a hotel

The beds and linen felt like something from a display room The mattress was hard with no cushion or support The linen is thin and the thread count is non existent The staff was very nice and prompt and provided all the other amenities we requested Our roomAnd other areas of the hotel was very clean I would just believe that the bedding would be more comfortable in such a beautiful place

This is a very nice hotel with great amenities The restaurants have really good food and a wide selection The rooms are very modern and nice with lots of room to spread out

The location of the hotel is wonderful since there are multiple restaurants within walking distance For an Ambassador Elite member the staff, especially Kevin, made me feel right at home I’m definitely staying here again

Peter Hatchell

There is no barrier between the shower and the bathroom at large; consequently, showers inundate the ENTIRE bathroom with water Additionally, the lights in the rooms are annoying They are overly modern, hard to operate, and worst of all, automatically shut off WHILE YOU ARE USING THEM

This hotel is very nice but aspects of it push modernity to the point that they are wildly inconvenient to use I am so glad that I only have to deal with these things for two nights Any more would be maddeningBeds are nice Gym is nice Everything is crazy overpriced thoughOh and you cannot access the stairs? What are we supposed to do in the event of a fire? What if I don’t want to go on a crowded elevator during a pandemic? This is not conducive to good health, safety, or a pleasant hotel experience Very unpleasant I would much rather use stairs than an elevator at any given point The stairs are what knock this down from a three star to a two star review

Andrew T

Honestly, the best treatment I have ever received from a Marriott property This hotel is not just amazingly clean and modern, but every single employee I interacted with was incredible I stayed at this hotel years back when it first opened and it was wonderful then

They have not lost their touch This is rated a 4-Star hotel, but 5-Star treatment Rooms are immaculate, beautiful hotel, hallways nice and clean, bathrooms are perfect, views are amazing and the location is the best around

The resort is absolutely beautiful and very family friendly Staff members were very friendly and attentive I’m not giving the full 5 stars because the cleanliness was not what I’d expect from a 5 star resort

Our hotel room had pubic hairs, scalp hairs, dust, and urine around the base of the toilet and splotches of water and likely some sort of soap in the shower It had clearly not been well-cleaned, if at all In addition, the very back pool was quite dirty I can deal with leaves and some debris at an outdoor pool, but this had a lot of built-up leaves and debris in the deep end of the pool, like DAYS worth Staff were actively cleaning the lazy river, but no attention was given to the rear pool near the sand feature I’m not speaking of sand (there was that too, but that’s expected when there’s sand nearby), this debris was dark in color and very built-up It could have easily been scooped up and would have been much more appealing

Mark Anderson

This is a top notch place for a family getaway that we’ve enjoyed a number of timesLots to do with a fantastic water park, game rooms, excellent fitness center, daily planned activities for the young ones, and lots and lots of grounds to explore The staff is super friendly and attentive as well

It could definitely use more dining choices so be prepared to order in or make a quick local jaunt when the hotel is full This spring break week they were doing in-room dining for an only $5 flat service charge which was unexpected but awesome! We will be back again and again

Jazmin Juarez

This was one of the best hotel resorts I’ve visited in the states so far The staff were completely friendly and hard working Made me feel at home and the water park is fun for the whole family

Love the restaurants and variety and the rooms were beautiful and roomy The conference area was great and spacious and beautifully decorated I definitely recommend this place for business or a pleasure travel

Surprising nice hotel in the small town of Marble Falls It isn’t glamorous, but the rooms are comfortable and the front desk staff are very friendlyAt ALL COSTS, avoid eating at Chili’s next door

It is revolting! The food is inedible and the staff is disorganized and poorly trained Easily the worst restaurant I’ve been to in years

Joe Soto

The stay is amazing But the breakfast attendant really must learn to SHUT UP!!Too ignorant to see the annoyed looks on the faces of people trying to enjoy their breakfast, be it alone or with their familyHer ignorance of politics and personal life stories ( inappropriate at times ) we’re making many people visibly cringe

Perhaps having good intentions but a complete lack of respect for personal space and etiquette

Unfortunately the front hotel rooms are not really cold and my A/C did not work , I called front desk but they only offered a fan, never to move my room until the 3rd day of sleeping in the hot room, I had to remind them to send someone to fix the A/C on the second day, they came but could not fix On the third day they moved me to the larger hotel in the rear and that room was nicer and the A/C worked Would have been nice to be moved as soon as I arrived

Over all the hotel resort is nice The water park is nice And Yes I am a diamond member so they could have been moved sooner Probably wouldn’t stay there again, next time I’ll chose a different hotel since we travel for work often

john Tolbert

I stayed here for a convention The convention itself was good However, the hotel is a large facility that is very dark and cavernous

I stayed for 2 nights and never had any warm water for a shower and the staff was not overly helpful or friendly In fact, housekeeping never cleaned my room even after multiple requests For the money, I would recommend staying somewhere else

Nic Mac

The hotel lobby is quite lovely A lot of beautiful sculptures and greenery Some tranquil sitting areas surrounded by flowing water and beautiful plants

A very vibrant, beautiful light sculpture hangs from the ceiling illuminating the dark hallways on the way to the rooms Once inside the room however, leaves something less than to be desired I’ve seen and slept in way more beautiful and comfortable rooms at 25 star hotels for a fraction of the cost I had an exhausting day upon my check in, and I did so around midnight- there was a long, slow line with maybe 2 or 3 employees working to get everyone checked in and on their way One thing that I thoroughly do not agree with, and believe that for the amount of money I’m paying to stay at this hotel, the least they could provide is free parking for paying guests I paid $25 for 8 hours of parking In my absolute honest opinion, unless you’re here to vacation at their summer water resort, take your money elsewhere

The Renaissance was my husband and I’s home for five days, and it did not disappoint! My husband and I chose this hotel because of the property’s proximity to food, shopping, and the location of our wedding venue The hospitality was superb! When we first visited the hotel, we were looking for a hotel that would be great for our out of town guests as well as us after our wedding night The hotel staff welcomed us, and we knew right away this would be the location for us

During our stay, the rooms were spacious and clean The bed and pillows were comfortable The bathroom had several amenities that you would need, and the shower was spacious The mood lights were an unexpected nice touch The night of our wedding, we came home to a bottle of champagne and sweets, courtesy of RenaissanceOur event manager Kassie, was pleasant and always was quick to respond to any inquiries I had regarding the property I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Plano area

Felipe Meraz

Tyler and Alyssa with the reception team treated us like royalty Its an excellent venue for a weekend getaway The DJ on Saturday DJ Richy Smart was amazing

Gave us a Vegas vibe minus the having to go to Vegas The Toulouse restaurant next door is absolutely amazing The entire staff at the Renaissance was excellent Whiskey Moon was a lot of fun

sam musso

I enjoyed a very nice stay here this weekend! Upon arrival, Katie with the front desk helped me check out a room that was perfect for my stay She was lovely, and so was the rest of the hotel staff from the caterers, the management, and the housekeepingThe hotel is new and the rooms are stylish and clean

The hotel is decorated with a very unique Texas Asain fusion and shows in the artwork and design Also, the location is right on the edge of the Legacy outdoor upscale mall If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, special occasion with your SO, or a business trip, this hotel is probably the best in North Dallas/Frisco areaI’d go back in a heartbeat

My husband and I returned from our first visit to the Inn on Lake Granbury, and it definitely won’t be our last! We only spent one night here, but it was a wonderful experience We stayed in the Comanche Peak room, which I highly recommend The room was GORGEOUS (jetted tub/shower and super comfy bed)

It also has a private balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped property with partial views of the lake and Comanche Peak We spent our time relaxing on the balcony, strolling around the grounds, and swimming in the salt water pool (with waterfall) The owners, Jim and Kathy, are very hands-on and made sure we had a comfortable stay Upon arrival, Jim gave us a tour of the room and showed us how to work all the devices He even delivered appetizers to our room later in the evening We opted to have breakfast on property and it was very filling (fruit, eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, sausage and pancake casserole, juice, and coffee) Sandy was our server, and she was so friendly She offered to take our pictures overlooking the lake once we finished breakfast We had such a lovely and relaxing time that it was hard to leave! As a memento, I purchased a beautiful hand-thrown coffee mug featuring the name and a carving of the Inn It will be a nice reminder of our stay until we can return!

Dee Mal

We stayed in the cottage, which was beautifully decorated and had a great view of the lake! The grounds were well-kept and very scenic, as well The owners were also accommodating and quick to answer any questions; we had family members staying in another room and they were kind enough to bring their food to the cottage so we could eat together! Our one small complaint would be that some of the food could be better (but judging by other reviews, I think we’re in the minority here) We had some appetizers and breakfast sides that were great, while other things could have used a little more flavor

Definitely an amazing place to visit if you’re looking for a romantic, relaxing time! The inn is a short walk from Granbury square, which was great to explore as well

Marty Marlow

Great property Very clean and well kept Owners and staff are nice people

We checked in late on a Sunday afternoon We were given a quick tour and then the owner walked us to our room and did a thorough presentation of the amenities available to us We were shown how to operate everything in our room It left us without any questions during our stay Highly recommend this property for a short getaway

We stayed at the Stella on March 4th, 2022 weekend Staff was extremely friendly Hotel was very nice

Beds were super comfortable Shower was a nice set where the shower faucet was on the opposite side of the shower head Facilities are also well laid out Nice coffee shop Campfire breakfast was the bomb Shout out to William Cole Inc for developing a fantastic hotel

Sean O’Sullivan

The hotel wasn’t bad It’s a little outside of the hustle and bustle of the city and the lake makes for a nice calming view However some of the amenities being advertised were still in progress and others were talked up larger than they warrant

For instance the spa amenities are limited to a single hot tub that holds about 4-5 people total The ‘two’ resort style pools are really just two small pools in the same space separated by a wooden bridge — which is comfortable enough but doesn’t afford the degree of pool capacity as it suggests and resulted in a kid-packed pool during the dayAlso oddly enough the hotel restaurant and bar close at around 2PM on Sunday, which is not convenient for a one-stop relaxation shop over a weekendI was able to take advantage of a Memorial Day weekend lull and get decent rates, but it might’ve been a harder sell at a higher price knowing what we know now

Heathor McDonald

Thrilled that this hotel is now a signature hotel with Marriott! We’ve stayed here a few times and loved it Our last stay was for our wedding and it was the perfect place to stay as our home base for the wedding weekend Management accommodated our little extras we asked for help with for our wedding party’s stay there as well

It’s small enough to feel cozy and personable yet big enough to have all the amenities you need Desk staff were super friendly as well as the on-site bar and Campfire restaurant Rooms are comfortable and quiet Everything was very clean Can’t wait to go back for a nice relaxing weekend!

We stayed at Hotel Emma in early April It was by far our favorite hotel on our two week tour of Texas The architecture is stunning

Amazing attention to detail and preservation Everyone we encountered was very friendly and efficient The room was great We had a balcony with comfy furniture Loved the tile in the bathroom We took advantage of the hotel’s river tour and very much enjoyed it Some might say it’s not super close to the action, but we actually appreciated not being in the thick of things

The resort was wonderful We had a king room with a balcony and a view of the lake It was so nice to stand on the balcony and just look at the water

We ate at both The Yacht Club and the Sports Bar They were both great If you go to The Yacht Club, you have yo try the Chicken fried lobster it was so good!! We played the 18 hole putt putt course That was fun We did a sunset cruise around the lake It was a great way to see all the beautiful homes on the water Highly recommend this The service at the hotel is exceptional We didn’t encounter one person that wasn’t incredibly helpful We will definitely go back

Crow was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and was great at adding to our excitement of staying at the resort We then were shuttled to our Waters Condo What a convenience having the shuttle service for guests We walked in to Condo #345 WOW, WOW, WOW! Coupled with all the amenities of this Resort best money spent Stop by the Spa and visit Amber the sweetest person you will ever meet with the most magical massaging techniques and customer service skills that are above and beyond If this hasn’t convinced you to visit this resort yet here is another amazing reason Head over to the Yacht Club Pool what a beautiful, clean, and large pool The hot tub is huge and just an added bonus Make sure to stop by and meet Alex from the pool bar & grill He will just remind you again why you love this resort The Hospitality by everyone here during our 4 day stay really should be commended! Went with my wife and our 3yo son, had a wonderful time! Already discussing when we should return again The lake-view room was the right choice, just be ready for that bright Texas sunriseThe staff were very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere inside was always soft and relaxing with lots of dark wood and neutral tones under soft lighting, and the outdoor areas were very well kept and vibrant with flowing water always near by

While I saw no explicit dress code, I felt most comfortable in a light polo shirt and slacks/shorts there, as did most other guests

I can’t say enough about this hotel The location is within walking distance of a restaurant strip! The view is so serene and beautiful! The Manager on Sunday was absolutely 💯 fabulous He made sure that our stay was great and willing to help anyway possible

Everyone there from the front to the resturant was fabulous The breakfast was fantastic and we also enjoyed the 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages we received at the evening reception, as well as a few light snacks The infinity pool was very nice and the rooms were extremely nice with a large bedroom, separated living area, and bathroom and we had a walk around balcony 😀 Our experience at The Embassy in Woodland for Father’s Day, was an excellent, pleasant, & serene stay! We loved it and will be back!

Perfect for a last minute staycation with my family If you book and check-in via the app like I did, still go to the front desk to get your key (you’ll need it for the parking garage) and you happy hour card The entire staff I encountered including the front desk associates , bartenders and servers were all very knowledgeable and friendly

The breakfast was delicious The drinks and appetizers at happy hour were great also I will definitely book this location again

Nice, clean and spacious hotel Check in was fast and easy Our room was comfortable and roomy

Everything worked as it should Water pressure is light, but I’m ok with saving water The thermostat ran very cold, but it’s Houston so I’m not going to complain Breakfast was pretty good Lots of decent options, though their eggs were a bit on the over-processed side The location is very good with groceries and restaurants nearby I reserve 5 stars for the high-end hotels, but I had a nice experience and would have no problem staying here again

The customer service here is excellent Everyone from the river staff to the lobby and restaurants and the valet was super friendly and helpful Troy at the valet was very nice and remembered us as he was helping with our car and luggage

The kids loved all the hotel activities throughout the day but mostly loved the lazy river My only recommendation would be to have an inner tube for large adults The ones there will only support someone up to 180 lbs, any more and you’re capsizing Can’t wait to go back!! Thanks for a great stay

The property was beautiful We stayed in one of the patio rooms and it was so relaxing nestled under the great oak trees The service at the golf shop was great and they took care of us so well

From storing our bags and getting them onto the cart, to the well-manicured course and greens, and the friendly staff who made playing here a wonderful experienceAnd a special thanks to the staff who made our dining experience the best The food was great, particularly the fajita dinner on Sunday Big thanks to Janie and TJ who made sure we had everything we needed Our drinks were never empty and the plates were cleared the moment we finished It was hard to believe we were at a buffet And Janie made us feel like old friends But after 24 years at the Hyatt, she just knows how to do that We hope to see you all again next time!

Staff was nice! Rooms & restaurants were great! The lazy river was great except there was not enough chairs or tubes for everyone The next morning we got there early and realized that people stacked all their tubes and placed their stuff on their chairs before they go eat breakfast We ended up finding a spot and some extra tubes

So, get there early! They have a Starbucks and a general store there, I bought little blowup tubes for the kids and the young boy at the pool area went to blow them up for me That was great! Overall, it was a fun weekend!

We had the most wonderful time celebrating a birthday here Ricky the porter and Chris the concierge are both so sweet and helpful They had the most upbeat welcoming energy

We opted for a massage at the spa and Jasmyn gave me the best massage I’ve ever had Even the assets protection man we ran into in the elevator asked what they could do better This entire team strives for excellence and succeeds Already planning a return visit Was sad to leave

Patrick Caffey

Hotel was very nice Rooftop pool was great nice to have drinks close by with the roof top cafe The food was great up there

Spa was very nice and pleasant would definitely recommend going thereThe rooms tho were just ok I thought for the price it would be a little nicer A/C wasn’t cold, the ceiling fan worked half the time, and the button on the jacuzzi tub was missing

Jodi Wishart

I had 2 rooms – king river walk view and double non view The hotel needs some love, but the staff make up for it They are wonderful people! This is a busier part of the river walk but a short walk to the quiet areas

The 800 reservation line does match the guest service of the hotel If you have any questions, call the hotel directlyThe character of the hotel was a factor in choosing it And character takes time and people to keep up It needs more love and care and we are all stretched thin It was clean – tattered but clean I know the “details” of most things have been sacrificed in our collective mess of the last few years
