My wife and I came to Bardstown for our anniversary and stayed at the Bourbon Manor This old house has tons of character, great outdoor spaces to relax, a fantastic breakfast, and is very close to the center of town The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay

It seemed like there was plenty of parking, and the a/c kept that old house cool despite temperatures in the 90s Bathroom was a bit quirky but everything was perfectly clean and the quirks are par and parcel of a beautiful old building like this We’ll be back for sure!

Had an amazing experience with a wonderful staff I enjoyed several meals, highly recommend the blackened shrimp & grits The boxcar named desire was a great drink to have with it

I visited with my daughter looking forward to staying in such an old building, like sleeping in a museum We enjoyed walking the neighborhood our highlight was the ice cream counter at the drugstore across the road Our room was clean, comfortable and we had a wonderful experience

Great food and history in this one location We had a few of the special drinks and they all were good The Kentucky Brown was by far my favorite and the club sandwich did not disappoint

We were able to learn a little about this establishment and the rooms they offer at the inn What a cool place You just need to go and see for yourself!

First, a couple of high points The staff is great They are extremely pleasant and helpful

They honestly could not have been more pleasant Also, the hotel is cleanUnfortunately, that’s were the good stuff ends Here are the negatives:1 Low water pressure Very aggravating when you’re trying to take a shower or flush a toilet2 Amenities: Everything is dated to 2005 That means, furniture, light bulbs, TVs, carpet, pool… the only updated amenities were the key reader on the door and the thermostat3 Bathroom: there was no dry mat for stepping out of the shower and with two queen bed room, that sleeps four, we only two wash cloths Also, there is no working exhaust fan in the bathroom4 Breakfast: With 45 minutes remaining for breakfast… almost everything is empty The dining are is almost full, but most people are frustrated that they are having to make due with slim options Finally, a few of us asked for more omelets to be brought out… five minutes later, we had omelets for 85 Coffee: the lobby and breakfast area only had light roast and decaf coffee, and the light roast was pretty weekIn summary, I travel quite often and I have stayed at more Hampton Inns than I can count This facility fell way below my expectations for a Hampton Inn They either need to invest significantly to make upgrades or just sell this hotel to a lower standard chain

The bed was horrible Springs poking you and sounding like they’re about to break Rooms were very dated

Pool was closedStaff was very friendly and breakfast was pretty goodRoom was mostly clean other than the silverfish in the tub and a sticky bathroom floor

Jenny

Very old and unkept property Weeds, trash everywhere, overgrown landscaping, filthy elevators, no AC in the hallways The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on

You can literally feel the springs in the mattress This hotel is definitely not up to standards for Hampton InnIn addition as a Diamond Member, we were not offered the snacks at check in Will not stay here again

Paul was our host/jailer and made the entire experience completely awesome! From his courtesy to his breakfast, I was blown away!! We were treated like family and anything we needed or wanted was supplied!Paul would check on our itineraries and make sure everything was a go, plus he would recommend and help us plan our adventures if we needed suggestions! On the day of our Ann, we came back from several tours to find our rom decorated and covered with rose petals! Talk about going the extra mile!!!The tour of the B&B alone is worth the trip! If you visit the Bourbon Trail, this is the place to stay! Friendly and inviting full of history and charm!
