My husband and I recently took a trip to Chagrin Falls for a special wedding weekend Carson at The Inn was so helpful booking us for a (3) night stay We now live in Nashville but I grew up in Chagrin and always love going back home to the sweetest village full of the friendly people

The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were comfortable We lucked out with a great room with a lovely fireplaceA big thank you for arranging the most picturesque snowfall while we were there It was beautiful! The newly renovated spaces are fabulous We cannot wait to return to see the renovated guest roomsThe location cannot be beat It’s so nice being able to stroll in and out of the quaint shops and the choice of restaurants is fabulous No need to get back into your car after you arriveWe had a great time and truly enjoyed the Inn of Chagrin Falls!

Found Inn of Chagrin Falls on Google Map for a decent place to stay for our cross country drive My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful homes and the nicely adorned Main Street of Chagrin Falls People were out and about in the village that had lots of restaurants and stores

We were greeted warmly by Beau when we arrived at the Inn He showed us our Queens room on the ground floor with a fireplace and gave us the parking flyer for our car The room was tastefully redone Like the linen window treatment The bathroom was redone in marble tiles with black fixturesThe bed linens were of high quality with thick mattress though it’s a bit soft for usThe lounge was stocked with lemon and watermelon flavored ice water, coffee and tea Breakfast was continental with muffins and bagels We chose to have coffee and breakfast at an excellent coffee roaster on Main StreetSo happy we found Inn of Chagrin Falls We had a good night sleep in a beautiful town with good restaurants So much better than the chain hotels off the highway

Fantastic hotel! Really enjoyed my stay here The whole staff are really wonderful and friendly They were really accommodating when I had to extend my stay

Room (suite with king sized) was great, good setup Breakfast is good but the dining area is smallish so sometimes it was hard finding a seat Only complaint is that I don’t know when they do room service, I was there for 4 days and they never came, but not a big deal Definitely recommend this Hampton Inn!

My wife and I sometimes take road trips that take us through Cleveland, and we will stay overnight there to break up the trip We had twice before stayed at the Home2 Suites hotel in Cleveland (also a Hilton property) and enjoyed our stays there However, we found a room at this hotel at a less expensive price (about 25% less), and we decided to try it, as it was highly rated, and it was just a brief stopover on the way home

We arrived after midnight and checked in The night desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and she checked us in We asked for and received a late checkoutUnlike a Home2 Suites room, it did not have a full kitchen, but it did have a mini fridge and a microwave As we were just using it as a place to sleep, though, this didn’t matter much to us, and we figured that this was part of the reason that the room was less expensive The room was reasonably spacious and clean The bed was comfortable, and the room was quietAfter a good night’s sleep, we tried the complimentary breakfast On this particular trip, we stayed at three Hilton properties, two Home2 Suites hotels and this one According to my wife, who would go down and get breakfast for the two of us and bring it back to the room, the food available at this hotel was the best of the three She liked the layout of the breakfast area with it being divided into different stations instead of being in one long line, which also made it easier to prepare the food without people reaching over each other The selection of food and the overall quality and freshness of the food was also best here Checkout was quick and easy It amounted to us walking past the front desk and the desk clerk asking us if we were checking out and our names, and the clerk telling us we were all setOverall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality room but who doesn’t want or need a full kitchen as part of their suite

What a cool and clean hotel!! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, spacious, and very modern! The bed was comfortable There was a big, glass door shower and the sliding door for the bathroom was also the door for the closet, I thought that was pretty cool! All the staff are so friendly! Best hotel breakfast I have ever had and best hotel I’ve ever stayed at as well!

The hotel itself was nice, I loved the room For the most part, it was clean and the breakfast was good The reason I am giving the hotel two stars is because I suspect theft after requesting room service from the hotel

I had a piece of jewelry tucked away before room service and after packing the jewelry box and bringing it back home we unpack it and a pair of earrings were gone from it I wouldn’t be so mad if they weren’t my grandmothers who had passed last year and the ones I wore in my wedding They were not worn or taken out the rest of the trip so who else would have taken them out? Just be mindful when staying here about your belongs and who enters your room!

Crystal Hamilton

Rooms seemed visibly clean at first, until we started noticing cup stains on counters, someone else’s hair on the nightstand, dirty counters behind ice bucket and coffee machine Hot tub was visibly filthy with smelly, musty water Scent used in hotel smelt clean at first, but started to make me feel sick after a few days

Could use some hot items on breakfast menu for the price Pool was fine, as well as fitness center Beds seemed clean and comfortable There was a small bug crawling on my son’s pillow – not sure if it was a bed bug or not No bites TV is in bad position in relation to beds Our daughter slammed her finger in the sliding bathroom door – has no stopper and slides very fast if not familiar with that kind of door like our daughter Staff pleasant Housekeeping friendly and accommodating

Scott Stallings

We found the hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was friendly Look at the pictures closely because the one bedroom is a studio room with a bathroom It’s not like Residence Inn or other Marriott properties where one bedroom is actually one bedroom

The only separation between a couch and bed is a desk with a tall backing On this basis, the room with two queen beds could be listed as a two bedroom

I ave high standards for Hampton Inn, but they did not disappoint The bar had great breakfast to order like a restaurant You had to pay, but it was nothing compared to other chains

The room was very clean and neat They had a computer in the lobby with a printer, and a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants The front desk and breakfast servers went above and beyond I really enjoyed my stay here

Rebecca Kosierowski

We came up for a surgery and stayed here for one night We had a king suite, which was quite roomy and comfortable, clean and nice The bed was quite comfortable, the right balance of firm and soft (despite our preference at home for a very firm futon directly on the hardwood)

It was quiet, and the staff were all polite We thought about swimming in the pool, but the cloud of chlorine in the air when we opened the door to it was off-putting, so we went for a drive to Lake Erie (choosing Euclid Park over Edgewater Park since we didn’t have to drive right through Cleveland traffic to get there) and enjoyed a meal in the shade by the water instead The breakfast spread had a large variety of items, and they really only lost a star for the eggs being the tasteless powdered variety and the sausage with so little seasoning and flavor that I actually wondered if they were meatless (if so, people should be told on the placard because we don’t eat soy products)

Alex Scullion

Hotel front desk staff gave my coworkers and I a hard time when checking in and checking out They almost didn’t let us check in even though our employer had paid and we had email confirmations printed out Our names were also listed as the guests on the reservations

If you’re planning on booking rooms for business, you might want to reconsiderOther than the service, the hotel is OK The best thing about this hotel is the location!!! Within walking distance of great shops and restaurants I’m not sure I would want to stay at this particular hotel again, but the location was great

Checked in 4-30-22, mid day Tiffany at the front desk was niceWhile checking in I noticed the rate wasn’t what my confirmation said

The hotel charged me almost twice what the rate was and no could explain it and said the manager would be there in the morning when we checked out, that never happened I have no words that can describe the disgust I felt in my stomach when we went into our room and pulled the sheets down to see thus See pictures Human hairs, blood on bedding, urine stains Never in all of my travels have I experienced such blatant laziness of it’s employees, and managementNever would I stay at this location, should have their franchise status revoked

Randy Proctor

I left a few incredibly important items at the hotel and they found them and mailed them back to me I cannot thank the staff enough for helping to return one of my most prized possessionsAlso, the hotel room was lovely, and the attached steakhouse gave us an amazing meal!

Save a headache and stay anywhere else Had to cancel trip after testing Covid positive Took 3 days of emails and phone calls to finally speak with someone who was able to help

After days of mind blowing incompetence we were still charged for 1 nights stayI can only hope they use their ill gotten funds to stay at a functioning hotel and observe how it is supposed to work

Hello everybody it’s me again, coming to you live about my experience with the aloft hotels Marriott I have to say again I am never disappointed when I stay at the aloft hotel Beachwood Ohio!Let me tell you why, I had a red eye flight this morning coming into Ohio for weekend business Now, I am a morning person but I was a little tired this morning because my alarm system went off four times last night at my home all the way up to the last alarm sounding at 3:26 AM this morning and I had to be at the airport by 6 AM

So I touchdown on time early this morning and I’m like I can’t wait until check in i am tired and I would like to take a little nap before I start my day I arrive at the aloft in Beachwood Ohio and I’m greeted by Andrew with the most beautiful smile and by the way he had a beautiful salmon colored top he looked so handsome and neat He says hello I say hi, I apologize for coming in so early today but is there anyway I can get an early check in He replied, absolutely we have a room waiting just for you, now that’s a quote! He said not only will I check you in early and since you’re so tired I’m going to upgrade your room at no charge to you I said, wow, thank you! And he mention by the way if you need any water or any refreshments you can have it here and he continued to take me around to the business center and things like that just a refamiliarize me with the schematics of this hotel Again I say thank you So I gather my things and head upstairs to my room and open the door to the most beautiful room and seating suite attached! I’m not gonna bother you guys with all the little details in the rooms and the seating area but I just want you to know that I’m so very grateful for the outstanding customer service I always receive when I come stay here! Thank you Andrew I’ll see you again on my next trip

Kamil

I really like this hotel, always staying there when going to Cleveland It’s nice, clean and with really good breakfast from Menu (order well done if You like fries cook better) The room is small, but enough for overnight stay or even few days, especially for the price

The stuff friendly and helpful Infused water offer at the lobby They also have some arcade games, console, pool, and bar I recommend this hotel especially in this price Perfect for a business trip or quick visit in Cleveland!

Deidre White

I came here for a sleep study through my doctor, but the hotel is nice The room was well decorated and OMG, the bed! That was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! It’s a very modern style, which isn’t my thing, but it was done well The shower was nice, good pressure

I didn’t like that the sink was out in the open, but it was tucked away from view of the bed, so there’s still some privacy when using it There’s a nice fridge and safe in the room, too I was facing a busy street, but couldn’t hear anything, so the windows were great, but I could hear some noise from the hallway, so that wasn’t great

I have stayed here twice, the staff is top notch, the rooms are very clean, and the walk in showers are great This trip I enjoyed a corner king suite, and I was living like a rock star The location is perfect for professional sports, pub crawling, our going to the casino

It’s just off the lake, at the river, and there is also a beautiful national park a short drive away I hope to return to enjoy the area some more

Cincinnati Julz

I enjoyed my stay here Nice rooms offering ample space & large bathroom Stay was friendly and accommodating

Best part was I could bring my furry dogs I will stay here again I think the only negative were linens were lacking i found a few holes in towels and sheets They also did not smell really clean but I find that at most hotels The smell of fresh linens is wonderful but these smelled like they have been sitting in a closet for months after being cleaned I think their laundry service company could do better 😉

Alexis Hill

Our best Cleveland hotel experience thus far! Great location (within walking distance to the casino and tons of restaurants and bars), fun, boutique-style decor in lobby and rooms, and very clean Everything seems fresh and modern Complimentary wine hour was also a nice bonus!Valet parking is fairly pricey at $40 a night, but there’s a parking garage right around the corner that we used for $14 a night

The area was very nice and quiet and secluded Upon entering the Glidden House, we were mesmerized by the decor and furnishings We were welcomed warmly

Our New Years Eve was amazing thanks to Tony the bartender and the rest of the great staff Lots of attractions and restaurants nearby so our trip made great memories The rooms in this hotel are beautifully kept up and inviting Definitely would return for another couple nights!

Tony Loret de Mola

Had the pleasure of staying at this gem while visiting Cleveland It was a wonderful experience Rooms were comfortable

The staff was great Breakfast the next day was terrific and the person that cooked the breakfast was also the overall director She was delightful! It was just her third week at Glidden She’s a wonderful example of someone who takes pride in what they do and in meeting the needs of her customers

Bas Debbink

Wanted to go to the Rock and Hall Hall of Fame on the way back from Detroit (by car) and decided on the Glidden House to spend the night I am glad I did as it’s a wonderful place in the middle of the University Campus with lots of food choices within walking distance and only a 10 minute drive to the R&RHoF The rooms were very comfy, if a bit noisy due to the creaking floors (upstairs neighbors), but the suite was very roomy and the microwave and fridge were very welcome

Breakfast was fairly standard but tasty All the staff were very pleasant and helpful This seems to be a popular place for conferences and weddings also, and for good reason

Bed was comfortable Had a descent breakfast selection Desk Staff was friendly

Cleanliness of the room left something to be desired There was a spot on the carpet below the desk was so sticky that it would almost pull your shoe off The tub and toilet appear to have not been thoroughly cleaned in a while A few more room cleanliness and maintenance items I won’t take the time to list This is not the standard I expect from a Marriott branded hotel

Eric Adams

I enjoyed my experience here and the amenities were convenient and good Why only 4 stars, you need to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper the plumbing is loud By loud I mean if someone upstairs flushes the toilet you will hear it out of all 4 walls and the ceiling at about 85 db

Staff are very friendly I’d really like to give 45 stars but I’m unable to

Ryan Thomas

Nice, clean, updated rooms, friendly staff and great location I always appreciate a hotel that has great options close by for dinner before settling in for the night The breakfast was kind of terrible, but the coffee was fresh and hot so we’re all good there

My one and only gripe (not entirely the hotels fault) was the water wouldn’t work in the morning I called the front desk and they switched me to a new room to take a shower A little inconvenient but they were very quick and accommodating I would definitely stay here again

So I like the rooms also the hotel I just wish it was a little bigger Also if they had adjoining rooms would be fantastic Having a dishwasher is for sure a plus

If your alone or a couple with no kids than this is perfect for a long term stay If you needed to with kids it can feel a little cramped It’s in a decent location I mean it’s Solon so there are restaurants and things to do The pool is also pretty small besides that it was a nice place to stay Pretty clean as well I mean it’s a hotel Worth staying at that’s for sure💛

Laura Skrebunas

We stayed here this past weekend as we were in town for my daughter’s wedding shower The staff and experience was amazing from beginning to end! The staff was friendly and went over and above to make sure our weekend was amazing The hotel breakfast was a step above the usual breakfast fare we’ve gotten at hotels, and the rooms were comfortable and beautiful

Thank you-we definitely will stay here any time we are up in this area!

Jennifer Cox

The hotel is nice, clean, new — love the flooring in the rooms, especially, because

well, COVID makes carpet not the best choice! I wasn’t there long enough to make use of the amenities beyond a glass of wine at the bar, but the physical amenities are way less important to me than the staff Maybe there’s a factory in Chagrin Falls/Solon that produces nice people? Maybe it’s the water? Whatever the reason, the staff was amazing and just made my stay during a stressful business trip so enjoyable I just called today to book another stay, even though other hotels are closer to my meeting this time!

Jesse LeGault

We had a mixed experience staying here The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small The shower was a nice walk-in, but the curtain wasn’t weighted, so it kept “blowing” open and letting water escape

Food was provided in the morning and evening, but the area was a madhouse during those times Valet parking was easily accessible, but priced high ($35 per night) The hotel was kept clean, but they used scents in the hallways, which can be triggering for fragrance-sensitive individuals We generally enjoyed our stay, but the roof leaks (we were on the top floor during a storm) So, slightly recommended, but if you stay away, I won’t blame you

Denise Dillon

My first time staying at this location Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly We had a queen room

Room was clean and spacious The bed was comfortable Evening kickback was a huge perkdrinks and food for the family Only 2 cons was parking and the pool No parking lot, they do have valet parking for a nightly price, we did not utilize this service Also the pool was supposed to be heated but the temperature was too cold to swim Otherwise we will definitely stay again!

Dejan Braki

Excellent central location in a historic edifice in walking distance to almost all attractions Plenty of restaurants aroundSpacious room with all amenities you need, as well the bathroom

Pool was heated, very pleasant to swim and fair in size, along with the hot tubBreakfast is very good, but the biggest bonus is their Kick back at 530 PM – a light supper (great soup, hot dogs, shredded pork, potatoes, nachos, salads), after which you really don’t need dinner so you save some bucksParking is around 40$ – valet only, but we parked our car on the street in front of the hotel by the meter (free from 6 PM to 7 AM, after 7 AM 2$ per hour)
