Hey There

Nice upscale hotel Front desk clerk was friendly Room was clean

However we froze all night, finally had to turn off the heat When the heat came on it would blow cold air for several minutes before warming up So we snuggled under the covers to stay warm One of the worse breakfasts I have had The waffles were in a bag, warmed & wimpy No way to toast or heat up Only a few offerings to choose from I could go on about it, but I think you get the idea Such a shame for this nice hotel

I stay at Marriott exclusively I was impressed with the customer service and the location It was my 1st time staying at this place

It is located right in front of a Sam’s Club what more do you need Easy traveling distance to some State Parks The breakfast was good and plentiful I will be staying here anytime I’m in the Cookeville, TN area

Highly recommend Our first time here and lots of good things to say about this hotel Easy to find, in a location close to restaurants, shopping, etc

Check in was easy, room was clean, a/c worked, 4 comfy pillows on the bed, sheets were smooth and smelled fresh, area and hotel were quiet, slept like a baby!! Shower had great water pressure, nice smelling shampoo and conditioner, towels were clean and absorbed water!! Great cup of coffee in the morning, breakfast was ok Try the pre-packaged sausage biscuits with sharp cheddar, they were a pleasant surprise and really tasty, biscuit was like homemade Would absolutely stay here again!! Sorry for lack of pics we were in a bit of a hurry this trip!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Cookeville during a multi day moving road trip The hotel was very well maintained and the rooms were comfortable and clean We needed to extend our check out time as we had arrived quite late the night before and needed sleep

The staff was extremely accommodating to us in regards to check out time and everyone we interacted with during our stay was extremely friendly and welcoming Parking was too tight for our Uhaul truck, but the hotel is in a great location with lots of shopping and restaurants around so we were able to find a place to park it just across the street The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and tasty If the opportunity presented itself, we would definitely stay here again in the future

The tub was very slippery and smooth, which made baths for our littlest unsafe and impossible The window ac unit pulls in smells from outside, especially chlorine from the pool side There is not a thermostat to adjust the AC/heat; adjustment is below knee level on the window unit

We were surprised that side doors are open and only require a room key 11pm-5am All other hotels we’ve tried in the last couple weeks have required room keys on all doors but the main lobby door The front desk personnel were rarely available and the one time I found them present, they were in the office oblivious to the line of people waiting for service at the front desk After waiting a long time, one customer walked into the office and the representative was surprised to see us all there There is a pull-down window shade but no curtains to pull in front of it (the decorative window panels do not move), so more light comes in than in other hotels, although the shade is better than standard curtains for blacking out light Our room was clean and smelled fine (we switched to the interstate side due to the pool side smell in the first room we tried — thankful they had another room option) Breakfast was sparse (Monday morning halfway through the allotted breakfast hour)— far fewer options than photos suggested The kitchen area had to take out trash during the breakfast hour unfortunately which spread a reek throughout the food station and eating area

I am an Hilton Honors member for more than 15 years and the recent stay at the Hampton Inn Cookeville was the worst of all Hilton properties I stayed at over the years during business or personal travel I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cookeville! The hotel appeared to be mildly upgraded regarding carpets, rooms, etc, but the cleanliness standard is way off

The first room we got had a dirty and none functional toilet The second room had dirty tile floors in the hallway and bathroom (specifically in the none traffic areas and corners; disgusting) Shower rails and entry were not cleaned for ages and the silicone around the shower was covered with mold The mirrors around the room were dirty, as well as walls had splatters all over The HVAC in the room was not controllable via the thermostat and had to be regulated at the unit itself It only operated in manual mode and was rather noisy from the fan perspective The TV remote was only partially workingThe breakfast offered, while regular Hampton Inn continental breakfast, was subpar as wellThe front desk staff was accommodating, but management needs to get this hotel back to Hilton status from from the maintenance and cleanliness perspective

Absolutely our favorite campground! This was our 2nd stay at Old Mill and can’t say enough good things about it The staff/owners are very courteous and attentive The general store is well-stocked and even has homemade sandwiches and ice cream

Campground is exceptionally well cared for and sites are spacious and level Showers and restrooms are CLEAN and very well attended to We will definitely return! As I’ve said previously, definitely our favorite campground!

Hunter Longley

We absolutely loved this campground! It is hands down the nicest campground we have ever been to The staff was very friendly and helpful! The entire campground is very well maintained and the bathhouse is immaculate! This is a great campground for a family getaway! They have the best playground if you have young children! We are looking forward to coming back to stay soon!

Jeff J

Love this campground, it sets the bar for all others!!This is the cleanest, best maintained, and most quiet/peaceful campground I have ever stayed at The full hookups are clean and well placed If you use other than 50AMP, bring adapters

The gravel pads are long and sites are spacious The general store is awesome, we loved the ice cream parlor and root beer floats The private showers are nicer than many hotels, with full tile, plenty of room to move and great lighting and ventilation The management is super friendly and accommodatingA side note: If you are a noisy partier, this is definitely not the right place to be

If I could give zero stars I would We made a reservation for 6 nights because the website said it was just newly remodeled in 2021 We show up and the first room they try to put us in was all the way in the back building in a dark corner with a couple people just standing out front of a room staring and being very sketchy

We asked for a new room near the front where it was well lighted When we went in the room it felt like a sauna for one, then there was a hole in the floor under the carpet in front of the air conditioner There was a cigarette burn and stain on the one comforter, dirt/dust caked on the hairdryer attachment on the wall The sink faucet looked corroded An unacceptable room for the price we paid I went to the lobby to ask for a full refund and was told I needed to contact the website directly, sat on the phone for about 10 minutes to be told that the manager is the only one that can authorize the refund so they would contact them and it may take up to a week for someone to even contact me I finally was able to have her speak with the manager and get my refund Also, when I said something about the sketchy people out back she told me the premises is under surveillance and the manager is always watching, I was told she was on the property When I went to get my refund and asked for her to call the manager she told me that she was unavailable She told me she was sleeping because she works 3rd shift, yet I was told in the beginning the manager was on the property watching the video cameras

I was quite impressed with the room for a motel I’m a little puzzled as to why there’s no place to hang my clothes though I’ve never been to a motel that doesn’t have at least a closet rod! Even Motel 6 has a closet rod, but this is supposed to be “Days Inn by Wyndham”

They do at least have a lot of charging ports, and everything seems to work The remote is missing the battery cover on the back, but it’s not the huge deal The pillows are wonderful, to me Some people love firm pillows but I can’t use them These pillows were perfect for me! The shower is the worst thing about this room It barely sprays! There’s no heat to the bathroom either However, my supplies were replenished daily, which I appreciated The walkway above my room is breaking off, so that’s a little unsettling The staff is kind, which is also appreciated, and rare, in this day and age Yes, I would stay here again, all the while hoping things get repaired

Courtney Widick

The font desk lady was super nice both days we seen her!! Was expecting a little more for the breakfast then just some granola bars and a yogurt They didn’t even have any milk or cereal In the room, they need to vaccume

Took a shower walked on the carpet and the bottom of my feet were brown I am glad the pool was open so that’s a plus but other then that the bed sucked, 2 little throw pillows Their were wholes and slices in the blankets Didn’t even have a do not disturb sign, had to go to the office to get one When we asked for one more thing of toilet paper, we only had one in our room, the cleaning person was rude Would not recommend for a vacation Maybe for a work stay but that’s about it

Staff was friendly and helpful Rooms were being remodeled, but were clean This is an older property, so don’t expect it to be perfect

Parking is convenient to the rooms They have coffee in the mornings 🤗Smoking rooms available No complaints here, it’s a real value for money spent Great area, right off the interstate with every restaurant imaginable nearby Would stay there again for sure 😊

This facility has so many issues Here in no certain order are concerns Check in was slow having our pre registered

Then surprisingly they required a $40 cash only deposit NO WHERE was there any mention of this requirement They explained it was just to protect them against theft and damages We asked couldn’t they put an additional charge on a debit or credit card and we were told no, cash only When we got to the room it was dark and the switch inside door did not turn on any light Fortunately it was afternoon when we checked in and we found a floor lamp (the ONLY lamp in the whole room!) to turn on The floors are bare laminate, no carpet The beds were made up military style tight sheets, no distinguishable bed spread or blanket and no blankets available in the room Beds were extremely firm and hard The twin lights between beds were scalding bright LED lights that would blind you Keep in mind NO OTHER LAMPS ANYWHERE within the room Plumbing was loud but operable No small coffee pot/maker in the room A small microwave and fridge were in the room but the fridge didn’t work/cool even on high The older flat screen TV had about a dozen direct TV channels that were fuzzy and not at all in focus or sharp The sink was missing the drain cap so if you accidentally dropped something it was going down into the drain! The window ac/heat was noisy when on They listed breakfast foods included but there were none Only a small sign excusing themselves due to COVID which at this point was baseless They could have at least had some fruit, sealed/indivbagged food and coffee But there was nothing Then when checking out the clerk literally walked back to our room to inspect before refunding our deposit!! This place is not a first or second choice place to stay overnight Our opinion is unless everything else is totally booked up and you can’t find anything else, pass on choosing this place

Randy Schnedler

The staff, and Jenn in particular, was amazing, patient, and accommodating I erred in my original appointment by one day (i arrived a day earlier than my booking) Jenn handily adjusted, even dealing with a computer failure (the area experience a power surge earlier in the day)

The whole place is midway through room remodeling, so some rooms will be more updated than others The current owners (new within the last 2 years) are investing quite a lot in updatesThank you, Jenn

Very pleased with our stay during our cross country drive This is a pretty new location and everything was very clean Upon check in late the other night, Tikka was very friendly and helpful

When we got to our room which was ready for us, it was cold, refreshing, and very clean The next morning, the continental breakfast was perfect, the coffee was hot, and our checkout was a breeze All staff encountered were very pleasant I cannot think of anything I would have changed with our visit Thank you

Molly MacKay Zacker

While my room was clean and well stocked, I wish that other areas of the hotel were more cared forThere was trash in the elevator that remained for 2 days The coffee was empty at breakfast two mornings in a row and the chalkboard indicated that the high temperature for the day was 90

there was snow on the ground! My point is that attention needs to be paid to detailsMake all aspects of your hotel exceed expectations

Hotel is in the midst of a total remodel/makeover and the results are fabulous! Rooms are beautifully furnished Bath is updated and well lit The bed and the linens are SO comfortable

Parking is a little tight when the hotel is full and room numbers are a little wonky but it looks as if that is due to previous buildings having been torn down! Definitely a great stay!

I was presently surprised, I normally do not stay at these hotels due to cleaning reasons, but this 1 was on point Nice little fella at the desk, very friendly, the room was surprisingly very clean Minus the big hair ball covering the bathtub drain, and it had good big truck parking as advertised

If I’m ever in this area again this will be the place Didn’t give the 5 stars cause of hairball and the floors were very noisy But overall good place to stay

Michael L. Clark

The bathroom was dirty when we checked in There was only one bath cloth furnished for us The room smelled like cigarette smoke

We had reservations for two nights The room wasn’t cleaned on the first day When I went to the lobby to inquire about it, they told me the rooms only get cleaned every four days If I wanted fresh towels I should have put the old ones outside the room No one informed me of any of this when I checked in I will not stay at Red Roof ever again

The room was great If you are bringing a group do not stay here They do not offer a common area to meet

I was told I could rent out the common area… We had a sports team stay here and could not sit due to them not having enough people to clean… I offered to clean and was told I couldn’t touch there chemicals I fully understand that rule but the lady at the front did not care So long story short stay at the Marriott

Russ Smith

This hotel is always our halfway stop when going to visit my daughter and her family After a long day of traveling (especially after the grueling Nashville traffic) you don’t want any unpleasant surprises when you get to your hotel This hotel will give you exactly what you want and need

The staff is always friendly, the rooms spacious and clean, and the breakfast bar is well-stocked and attended Always good prices for the rooms, tooIf you decide to stay here, you will not be disappointed

Mark Elam

First the cost, wife booked it and when we arrived found out she booked it through a site for $80 more than the actual rate and they did nothing about it Second it was suppose to be a king bed and it was a double Lastly the noise, outside the back side room is a truck stop and starting about 6am the backup alarms, truck banging around and such start

Definitely would not stay here again

We stayed in a suite, for the price the room was very spacious Pros: The staff was very friendly and the hotel was quite, which is key with a little one They also accommodated us with an earlier check

Cons: The furniture was visibly dirty (not stained, dirty) as well as the carpets It felt like the room was surfaced cleaned between stays The room also felt really damp Overall our experience was fine, we probably won’t stay again however
