I must say we had a very pleasant stay The staff is friendly and professional The Hotel itself and the room suite are clean and well maintained

The bed was comfortable and towels and linen were clean Jennifer Summers checked us in, and she’s been nothing short of amazing ever since Jennifer provided us with some great recommendations for restaurants, Nightlife and Hiking, which helped highlight our trip in Knoxville We didn’t find a chance to take a dip in the swimming pool, but it looked clean and fun which we’ll certainly try on our next visit Happy Traveling 😊

Very friendly, professional staff They seem happy to assist youRoom was very spacious and most importantly clean

Bed was very comfortable as wellShower had plenty of hot water pressure, which is important and sometimes lacking in hotelsOnly reason for the 4 stars was the entire floor outside of my room smelled of weedMy room luckily did Not and smelled Very fresh/ cleanI’d definitely stay here again if passing back through the area & would recommend to someone looking for an affordable room

We have stayed at this hotel several times when in Knoxville/UTStaff and service is always excellent, from phone contact to feeling welcomed you will find none betterBreakfast offers buffet and to order, always delicious

Highly recommendedOn note apart from the hotel, suggest not using Hilton’s reservations phone line The service has obviously been outsourced and not what use to be I ordered breakfast for my family included in our stay, was assured three times by the representative our breakfast was included It was not and the price was misrepresented as wellThe hotel, staff and management is super and a great placeHappy Trails

Exceptional from start to finish! Reasonable rates Clean New

Sufficient parking-and Diamond Parking! Room was great Clean Spacious Water was hot with lots of pressure in the shower Breakfast was good, and the food at the bar was great, as was the service Good choices of draft beers given limited space Shout out to Marie for always brightening the day!

If you are traveling through Knoxville and need a place to stay, stop here immediately!!! I don’t know if this Hilton Garden in was newly remodeled or what but the entire placed looked amazing The room we had was one of the most upgraded rooms we have stayed in thus far (and we have stayed at quite a bit over the years) The lighting in the bathroom (for those that wear makeup) was perfect

The room refrigerator was an upscale mini fridge and the bed reminded me almost of the heavenly bed at the Westin (Almost)The bar and restaurant service was good as well There were only two people working the night we stayed but the did a great job considering how busy it was Needless to say if we ever have to travel through Knoxville again, we definitely will stay here!

Ranger Derek

The staff here is fantastic! When my wife had a medical incident on the freeway she was able to pull into their parking lot and flag down a worker They went above and beyond to get her comfortable until the ambulance arrived Grateful for your quick help

When our families visit we will be putting them up in this hotel

Really enjoyed staying here! Came with a friend overnight from Chicago We wanted to see what Downtown Knoxville had to offer We weren’t disappointed! The hotel itself was very nice, and our room had a GREAT view

Everything was clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly! There is an upstairs restaurant and lounge area and breakfast is available for an extra but nominal fee There’s also a bar in the lobby The pool looked beautiful although we didn’t have a chance to actually visit it Be prepared there is a $10 per night parking fee to park on property The hotel has a very quick walking access to downtown Knoxville bars, stores, restaurants and sights If walking isn’t your thing there are plenty of rentable motorized scooters all around The ONLY downside and the only reason I gave 4 stars: I found was as night falls the homeless population becomes quite active and they are not shy to approach you and I even saw one walk into the hotel only to be asked to leave Beware and use caution as quite a few appear unstable or intoxicated Overall I was not harmed or bothered in any negative way by this, it’s just more of a downside to have it right outside such a nice hotel and would just encourage caution for your safety I would stay here again

Francesca Fay

Beautiful, elegant & clean! A gem in Knoxville The entire staff was welcoming & kind The room was pristine and comfortable

Check in/out was a breeze, parking garage was super convenient Would highly recommend eating in house, dinner & drinks were so delicious, breakfast buffet was exceptional The kitchen staff was phenomenal! Top to bottom an amazing stay, thank you!

Journey A.

I have stayed at this location a handful of times due to work, along with a couple of other hotels in the downtown Knoxville area, and this is by far my favorite The staff here is wonderful, with top notch customer service It’s apparent that they take pride in their work, and I feel that shows throughout your stay at the hotel

I am always confident that the room will be clean, which has not been as true for other hotels in the downtown area with similar rates All in all, 12/10 for customer service and cleanliness Special shout-out to Torrey, as well as the restaurant manager (whose name I did not catch, unfortunately) for their courteous demeanor and going the extra mile!

The hotel is clean and well cared for The staff are very professional Chris, a bar tender was very fun and helpful

The hotel is within walking distance of anything you’d want to do in the downtown area There is a rooftop seating area with a fire pit The only downside is if you miss the specific times of breakfast and dinner, there are no other options for coffee or a quick bite to eat in the hotel

Adam Taylor

I stayed here for a weekend back in July utilizing points from traveling over 200+ days a year for my job I went into my room to find one of the windows completely busted out and covered in cardboard and black bags I reported it to the staff and they acted like they had no idea about it when clearly somebody on their maintenance team was correcting an issue

They didn’t offer me a different room, they didn’t even come up to the room to see what I was talking about (since they had no idea about it) All they said was they would write it down After checking out I contacted the manager and she even acted as if there wasn’t even a note about the stay/ room She said she would reimburse me my points and I should see them back on my account the next day This was over 3 weeks ago and still no reimbursed points If you are in Knoxville and specifically the downtown area there are much better hotels in the area

Jason Green

Cigarette butts all over the ground in the front The bed on the room is facing the window, instead of being on the biggest wall, which is very awkward The shower has very little pressure, the water barely got up to a full stream but mostly just drips out of the shower head

The TV remote is terrible There’s no pool Will not stay here again There’s slightly better places for the same price

I had an excellent stay; I was here for 2 weeks for business and really enjoyed my time here My room was very clean and spacious, I had a king size bed that was comfortable Check-in was a breeze

Gibby’s restaurant and bar was nice, the food was good Amenities and stores are located not too far away, plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute drive and walking distance as well Highly recommended

Kim High

Everyone was so nice! My daughter and I visited a Knoxville for her to attend a volleyball camp at UT I wanted a hotel with a nice gym and a nice outdoor pool I found the best place! For just a little higher rate, breakfast was included and definitely worth it

I also asked for a later checkout (because my daughter didn’t get out of camp until 2:45) and they extended my checkout time to 1:00 I have no complaints I don’t think I could’ve found anything better for what I wanted (affordable, comfortable, friendly, gym, and pool) We will stay here again when visiting Knoxville (my daughter will probably attend UT, so that could be quite often)

Elyse Moore

I definitely did not enjoy my stay The pool was very nice but not as deep as it says Normally, I could never stand in 5 feet deep water because of my height

I’m definitely not complaining about that though Our room was very cramped and not great quality Our couch had a rip in it and the bathroom stunk My biggest problem was the breakfast I have never gone to a Holiday Inn that doesn’t have free breakfast We came with many people and to get access to the buffet is $12 dollars a plate Once again, I have never in my life been to a Holiday inn without free breakfast We have multiple people staying together and have driven a long way All the gas prices and stops have added up and all the other hotel stays It’s really not acceptable to add $48 more I think that is extremely stupid, spending lots of money on a small hotel room and not getting free breakfast There is also a huge space right by the pool and I definitely think that maybe some more rooms could fit in there Just to clarify these are all my opinions and I don’t know if this hotel if planning on fixing these things It would be nice to know beforehand though

This place was clean and looked good inside and out, but there are issues All the television stations would play for 5 minutes and then lose signal for two minutes during our entire visit The toilet paper holders in the bathroom feel off the wall every time we went in there

The window shade is designed to stay open about 16 inches at the bottom so the surrounding city lights shine in your room all night I cannot recommend this place

Binté Amer

The rooms “look clean” but when you settle in and turn all the lights on, you’ll see hair everywhere My husband and I were there for just 15 mins or so and socks were covered in hair (I’ve attached pictures) The chair had a bundle of hair attached to it

The floors were super dusty and dirty The washroom also had soap stains on it We had to change rooms three times to which the third room, the front desk lady cleaned up properly herself Behind the beds and tables were piles of dirt as if they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks That’s just the cleanliness/hygiene part The customer service of the staff is half half One Indian guy at the front desk was super friendly with everyone, whereas the white lady working beside him was very rude I had other guests in the elevators with me also complaining how they were so rude to them also Lastly, we had room service people knocking really hard around 11am Like checkout is 12, and we hadn’t checked out yet Come back later when the rooms HAVE been checked out Their breakfast was good They had pancakes, cereals, juice machine, bagels, eggs and ham, jams and maple syrup and complimentary free 24/7 coffee/tea As a gold/diamond member, we also didn’t even receive any complimentary bags which apparently they are supposed to provide

Teighlor Kunze

We checked into our room June 17th 2022 We had just traveled from north Carolina The room we got into was so dirty

There was hair all over the floor, a finger nail and water The bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain and cracks in the wall There was also no soap 🤮 The only good thing about the experience was how fast the staff was to refund us so we could stay at a different hotel The lobby area was very nice But the hall way was also full of trash I’m so glad they refunded us I couldn’t imagine having my kids stay in that room

When it comes to the name and reputation of The Graduate, I would expect more for what it’s worth They don’t tell you at booking it’s $28 (a DAY) for required valet parking, unless you park a block and a half down the street Plus add on the additional tip for the valet guy each time they fetch your car

The room is super small Bathroom door slides shut and locks with a peg, and good luck getting blinded at night in the bathroom there’s no nightlightIt’s $5 for a bottle of water in your room The TV only gets twenty channels There’s no vending machines in the hotel, and no room service The room doesn’t even have info about the hotelFor a small mixed drink, like a Jack and Coke at the Saloon, it’s $11 The bar in the hotel isn’t even open except for an expensive breakfast, while the Saloon doesn’t open until 5pmHighly disappointed with The Graduate

Jennifer Kerhoulas

The location is in the middle of town within walking distance to a lot of businesses After we checked in and went to our room, I discovered a problem with our room I went to get help from a housekeeper who was down the hall

Rachel was amazing! She went and got management and they both took care of the problem promptly and was very apologetic Great service! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable! Would recommend!

Julie Junge

The hotel is nice, very eccentric Not really any big complaints about the room other than there is no coffee maker and the water pressure is pretty bad But to share our experience at the Saloon 16 bar

we went earlier in the day, all was great Service was impeccable Went back tonight after the Brooks and Dunn concert for a nightcap The waitress was the worse we have ever encountered I told her what I would like, she said I don’t think we have that I say you did this afternoon My husband then asks for a scotch She has this attitude like I don’t know what we have and if you want to know you need to go ask the bartender yourself I then said if you don’t have my first choice, bring me this Then u was told the same thing he was My husband walked up to the bar to look, couldn’t get any attention from anyone around the bar We then proceed to walk out

Only a one night stay but we really liked the room Everything seemed clean and the staff were all very nice The included breakfast was exactly what you would expect to be free and I have no problem at all with that

The only thing I wish I had done was bring my own pillow They had 4 tiny pillows for a king size bed that just didn’t quite work for me Not sure why they went that way but it was okay I usually bring my own on a longer trip anyway so that was my fault To sum it up, it was a very nice stay in a good, safe area

Mike Zimmerman

Spent one night at this Baymont while traveling Found the hotel lobby and rooms very clean and in excellent shape The most pleasant surprise was the staff and their customer service

From the front desk clerk who checked us in, the attendant who handled the breakfast to the lady who was cleaning up the common areas all were extremely pleasant and cordial Helped make the stay a pleasant experience

The only reason for 4 stars is there was mold in the shower and pay to park However, they did make it right with the shower issue Hotel was great, rooms were spacious, food and amenities were great as well

The roof top bar was also nice A little pricey, but nice The views are exceptional Service was well above average Walking distance to great eats and drinks I recommend Myrtles

Michael Potter

Highly recommend this hotel Clean rooms, friendly staff, prompt valet service, and the best part is their breakfast Extremely high quality breakfast

The bed was very comfortable and the couch is comfortable enough to sleep on (didn’t even bother pulling out the sleeper sofa)The location is convenient to access campus, market square, and historic old town If you didn’t want to pay valet, it’s close to state street garage

Brian Correll

The location of this hotel is fantastic Right in the center of basically all you’d want to do Short walk to market square, movie theater next door, bars and restaurants all around – it’s a great place for easy access to the best of Knox

I stay here for work (conveniently located only about a block away) The rooms are clean, access to a restaurant and bar on-site, and the staff are very friendly Valet parking is easy and they are rather quick with getting your vehicle when asked Overall great experiences

This is the best hotel I have stayed in in many years Yes, the rooms are awesome and the shower is amazing but the real secret is the people They are amazing

They are always smiling, they never say no, they make you feel at home I cannot say enough about it Not ONCE did they blame COVID for anything They just got the job done!! My hats off to the employees who made the stay amazing and to the leadership who have obviously figured out how to instill the desire to create a world class Customer experience in every associate

Samantha McCloud

I’ll list the good things first: room was clean, valets were polite and front desk people were polite Now for the bad: the older man we were greeted by was polite, but seemed very snooty and stuck up Just because you’re in a black suit doesn’t mean you have to act as though you’re better than everyone else

He asked for a card for incidentals but failed to mention there would be a 100 dollar hold until after I had given him the card If I had known about the hold I would have just given a credit card instead of a debit card When we got to the room I immediately noticed that the side table was damaged, the reading light didn’t work on one side of the bed, there were various dings on the closet doors and all around the room and worst of all the TV wasn’t working I asked for a new remote which never showed up even though they insisted one had been left so we had to let an “engineer” into our room to reset the TV due to a power outage earlier that day I would have preferred that was done before we checked in We also found black mold on the shower head This did not feel like a 4 star hotel, in fact I’ve had stays that were just as pleasant for half the price The view was also not great at all The bed was a little hard and the room was hot the entire time we were there despite turning the thermostat down as low as it would go I didn’t complain about any of these things because it was only a one night stay, but people deserve to know what they’re actually getting Yes the hotel is nice with some “luxury” finishes but it is poorly done and apparently poorly maintained

Chase

Great Hotel and staff We were highly impressed with all services inside the Hotel Ed, the concierge, was excellent

He was very professional and had great recommendations The food was terrific, both breakfast and dinner The room was very clean, and they stayed on top of cleaning the room We only left for a few hours, and the room had been cleaned again The only thing that was disappointing was the valet parking Pulled into the valet parking opened the door; thennothing I had to ask them if they would take the car, then they didn’t even offer to help with the bags The next day I asked for the car; it was 37 degrees out, pulled it up, and had the a/c on Now I know people have bad days, and maybe this was one of those, so needless to say, we will be back and continue to recommend this hotel

Super clean and in great condition, as seems to be the rule for this chain We love the footprint and layout of the roomsWhile we do enjoy minimum contact, the repeated lack of acknowledgement from the front desk staff was off-putting

I know we are all wearing masks, but that doesn’t mean you can’t at least look up when guests first arrive My husband and I were the only people in the lobby, getting tea, etc in the evening and did not even warrant a glance from the desk clerk

Stephen Elsenrath

I’m not sure about the negative reviews on here because they DON’T describe the experience that my family and I had This was the midway point in our travels for vacation and it is GREAT!!!I had issues with my booking through a third party, will never do that again, I’ll only use my Hilton Account going forward However, Monique at the front desk was our HERO

She worked it out with the third party booking company to make sure we were able to have a room today She and the gentleman that worked at the front desk were polite and professionalOur room was very clean and even smelled great The space is nice and beds are comfortable We will be staying here again on our way back from vacation

We are HH Diamond members and have stayed in many Hilton Hotels This one has very nice staff but lack in many areas First, I requested and paid for a room upgrade but we got the standard room

Second in our reservation we listed our party size but the room didn’t have enough towels or pillows for our party size Third, the breakfast is bad compared with other HH properties The breakfast here is what you get at Motel 6 or Super 8 No breakfast meats, only boiled eggs, and no selection of pastries Forth, the place has no drinks to purchase, the coolers are basically empty with about three choices Fifth, as a diamond member I wasn’t welcomed or thanked for being a member, plus I wasn’t offered water when at the counter when getting the items my room was short

Overall one of the nicer places in Knoxville Located in a good area within walking distance to all the attractions of downtown Lobby is nice, but certain employees were rude

Was downstairs and lady demanded that I show her my room key While I was looking for it I explained to her what room number and last name, she continued to rudely demand to see the room key It was a little awkward being that there were other people there but she continued to watch over my party the entire time Housekeeping staff was all really nice The rooftop bar is set up nice and the happy hour from 5-7 was a good deal for the price per night The breakfast in the morning was possibly the worst system I’ve ever seen It’s almost like a school lunch line, with a nasty red haired lady screaming at everyone as soon as you enter the breakfast area (which doesn’t have enough seating so you’ll be forced to take your food to go even though there’s an entire balcony section closed off) Without failure every time we went to get breakfast this woman would be yelling either at my party or another party Was disappointing to wake up to Overall rooms were clean and beautiful hotel just some of the staff def need customer service training

The best part of this hotel is the catering and events staff We were hosting my sister’s wedding and the gentlemen who oversaw the catering as well as his team were absolutely amazing They were also the same team that was serving breakfast the next morning

They were INCREDIBLY helpful and accommodating They made up for the check-in experience that we had I cannot speak more highly of the catering and events staffI will say the elevators were the worst part of my stay Several of them did not work so the wait to take an elevator was extremely long We often took the stairs since we were on the 4th floorThe view from the rooftop lounge was beautiful and was perfect for outdoor photos Breakfast was great (also because of the food service /wait staff) and so was the happy hour optionWe had a king suite and it was spacious but we did find some leftover snacks & receipts from the previous guest in the drawers I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity

I travel a ton with our gymnastics team and I am in charge of booking rooms for our staff This was the best embassy suites we have ever stayed in! Totally top ratings across the board Breakfast staff was so welcoming and went over and beyond to accommodate our needs

So clean! Very NEW hotel You will definitely get a good nights sleep in those comfy beds too I’m sure I can speak of 100 more things, but definitely the way to go in Knoxville, Tn Thanks staff for an awesome experience

My family and I stayed at this hotel for fours days and enjoyed our stay The pictures look just like the room The room was clean and the staff was friendly

Check in and out was easy I enjoyed the bar and lounge area The beds were comfortable The location is great but near the interstate so if you are a light sleeper the noise will probably get to you It wasn’t a problem for me nor my family though I would stay at this hotel again and I recommend it

The hotel wasn’t what we expected When we arrived the lot was full of police Check in was a hassle

We booked online with a credit card we didn’t travel with and had to change the card when we arrived (frustrating) We have stayed at many Marriott locations and have never had an issue with not having the card with us The room looked pretty modern and cool but definitely already needs some light updates; for example, the bathroom floors and shower floor is stained and looks filthy (although it was clean) The mirrors were all smudged from whatever quick cleaning job or product was used Many dead bugs visible in the light fixtures Tonya, the manager was very friendly and offered us a 1000 card to use for snacks due to the card issue; we declined – wasn’t her fault Overall, wouldn’t stay here again Staff was excellent; hotel wasn’t There was a foul smell on the second floor

I have mixed feelings about how my stay went although I will not be staying here again Let me start by explaining why I will not stay here again This hotel for me personally is not modern

It is just not my style perhaps The shower was terrible, worse shower I have ever had The shower looked dirty just from buildup where housekeeping doesn’t properly clean, the water pressure was almost non existent, and so was the amount of water coming from the shower head, also unable to turn the hot water up over a certain point so to me the shower was warm at best You could clearly tell that housekeeping does not do a good job and do not care you could clearly tell they just came in to change out what needed to be changed and didn’t bother wiping anything down as there was dust everywhere There were smudges on the mirrors and the shower door The sink had not been cleaned as there was dirt on the faucet There were marks all over the door and the walls, the carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed Also the front desk and lobby area appear nice and clean but were not at a closer look, dust was all over the desk almost as they do not wipe it down frequently I will say that the female bartender (So sorry forgot her name) was very attentive and friendly, as for the rest of the staff as in front desk staff they were very unprofessional and had an underlining passive aggressive demeanor about them I needed to print something while staying here and was not able to due to the hotel not having printer paper in the guest printer, upon going to desk to ask for it the woman at the desk informed me that the hotel was out of printer paper all together and that not even they had it in their printers I have worked at IHG and Hilton properties before as front desk and I can without a doubt tell and say that this hotel staff is not professional in any shape or form and need not only staff members that care but also staff members that communicate with one another I can not begin to even go over all the errors I encountered and witnessed while staying hereHighlights: The coffee was great, the female bar tender was great (she was only bartender there during my stay, so not sure if there were any others but did not interact with them) and the bed was comfortable

It’s an easy place to stay in a downtown setting with the beautiful Market Square within walking distance The hotel is well kept The rooms are nice

The staff is friendly The valet parking is expensive, with no options; but the valet service works well The M Club is great The fancy espresso machine is awesome For those who favor options like granola, a greater selection of fruits, nuts, honey and low sugar cereal options would raise the quality a notch When we asked Amanda about that she went to the kitchen and searched for bananas and raisins Her effort to ensure our satisfaction was typical of what I have come to expect from a Marriott property

Overall, I really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms are extremely reasonable for the quality The lobby is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re in an even more upscale space The rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable with a nice view of downtown

While the food was prepared nicely at Maker’s, I thought that it could have been more flavorful Same with the drinks That being said, I overall enjoyed my stay!

The staff is awesome The guys in the concierge were very accommodating and shuttled us to several different locationsAmanda in the concierge lounge area was polite and accommodating

The things that would improve in that area would be turkey bacon and sausage for those of us that have dietary restrictions Some sort of potato would be nice Some croissants and muffins would also help upgrade their breakfast offeringsThis hotel is in a convenient location but it gets loud So, they have ear plugs in the roomOverall we had a good experience here and will stay again
