Stayed in one of the rooms through VRBO, and it was awesome! The room itself had just enough space for 2-3 people in the single bedroom option and the deck that it came with as well was perfect! While the pool and hot tub were under construction, we visited the small beach which was a short walk from the room which was perfectly sized with a good amount of picnic tables and grills for some early season grilling The views of the white mountains and MtWashington contributed to the overall ambience to the resort

I would highlighy recommend a stay here and will hopefully be back!

This place is truly magical, it seems frozen in time Environments with attention to detail, thorough cleaning, comfortable bed, fantastic location and first and foremost the sweet and caring hostess Janet, made us feel at home There is no breakfast, but Janet has taken care of a corner dedicated to coffee, where in the morning you can enjoy with muffins, fresh fruit on the table or the porch where you can sip coffee while enjoying an enchanted view of the lake

We will definitely be back and anyone who wants to experience this magic should not miss the opportunity to come Thanks Janet, we’ll see you again soon Sandra

Stayed here for a night to go to a concert at the Big House Had a nice conversation with the owner when checking in Super nice lady who if I remember correctly didn’t like the area when she first visited but has been in business now for quite some time

The view from the outside deck was probably the best view in the area and a great place to relax

SeabeeErik

The wifi didn’t work, the people at the pool complained about it being dirty but we didn’t see it until we got in and got right back out Also the bathroom was not enough space for me to even stand up There was no one to be seen at the desk morning or noon or night

No continental breakfast or snacks at the coffee Very very poor cottages But the view was nice Had an A/C unit the size of a tiny microwave and didn’t cook room sufficiently Steer Clear and look for other locations Also you’ll never meet anyone at the office

My husband and I stayed there over the Memorial Day weekend Everything was awesome from the amazing breakfasts’ to the Crystal Lake room with phenomenal views of the sunrise right from the cozy, comfortable bed! What a precious family who serve others so well, and care about the littlest details! Cleanliness was top notch which also added a great feeling! We recommended this place to all our family; it’s truly a remarkable, memorable experience! The porch and gazebo are such great places to sit and reflect, pray or just bask in all the surrounding beauty

We can’t wait to visit The Lake House at Ferry Point again! Well needed peace and serenity is definitely found there!Steve & Diann

Our whole stay was seamless, smooth and very relaxing The inn is remarkably clean- perhaps the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at Breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed the great coffee— and amazing cookies

The views from the rooms and porch are beautiful The inn provided easy access to bank of nh pavilion, but also to the rest of the lakes region Would highly recommend a stay here and we would definitely return

Amanda Stikeman Messina

My husband and I stayed at The Lake House at Ferry Point while in town for a wedding at a nearby resort in February and had an exceptional stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the inn! The inn was cozy and charming, and Monty and Rebecca were gracious and attentive hosts They take such pride in their inn, and it showsThe inn itself is well-maintained and beautiful, the rooms are charming and cozy (and some with spectacular views of the lake!), and the amenities throughout were ample

The sheets were divine and so soft; it felt like sleeping on a cloud The large living room downstairs was the perfect spot to relax by the stunning fireplace and play board games from their many options of games, puzzles, and magazines There is a selection of coffee and tea in the dining room available any time, and every afternoon fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies are put out They were delicious and we enjoyed quite a few! In the warmer months, there is a beautiful front porch overlooking the gazebo and waterfront areaThe breakfast was fantastic and lovingly made We were treated to a three-course breakfast in the dining room served by Monty with fresh juices and coffee/tea First fruit, followed by a delicious pumpkin bread, followed by the main dish At check-in, they asked about our dietary needs and preferences based on the upcoming menu and catered to our needs It was excellent and we left breakfast stuffed! Monty was a truly kind and hospitable host and we enjoyed talking with him during our stay He was even so kind to leave out a few things to go since we departed early before breakfastOverall, I highly recommend staying at The Lake House at Ferry Point while in town or making a trip for a weekend of beautiful views and relaxation Cozy inn, hospitable hosts, delicious breakfast, and a superb location right on the lake We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the porch and kayaking A truly special inn!

I was so happy we came across Grand View Resort It was super clean and the view is gorgeous The owners are the nicest people

She gave up some great places to visit and every one of the places were spectacular We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to New Hampshire Thank you for making out stay so wonderful Looking forward to coming back

Chris Wilbur

Grand View is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a long time The room was clean, updated, and very comfortable! Decent size fridge and microwave in room Right down the street from Weirs beach

The owners were very friendly too We were up for a concert but they had a fire pit going when we got back The pool was nice too All this at a decent rate A lot of places up in Laconia jack up their rates in the summer but this was one of the more affordable options and now I see why they are rated 96/10 stars

THOMAS NEWTON

We have stayed at the Grand View several times and will return at a later date The property is meticulously clean as are the rooms The large swimming pool was great during the latest heat wave

The owners go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay Of course the View of Lake Winnipesaukee is Grand as the name implies They are pet friendly and have several lovable pups of their ownShould you choose a motel unit or a cottage you wouldn’t be disappointed Several mini golf courses, Weirs Beach, boat rentals and restaurants are only minutes away 7/22/22

Stayed here for 4 days in August The room was large and clean, and the air-conditioning was very welcome – we came during a heat wave The indoor pool was a plus! It was so nice to be able to cool down, did I mention it was hot outside? The breakfast was okay, our kids loved the automatic pancake machine! The staff was very friendly and accommodating with our kids

They went above and beyond to help us find another room to extend our stay! Thank you, Julie! My only real dislike was the habit of some employees to sit on a bench in front of the main entrance and smoke under the awning It’s not a good look and smells even worse, especially when they light up right in front of the entrance Not a great first impression for an otherwise enjoyable experience

Nathan Santos

I had to stay here due to the February 2022 blizzard I came up to New Hampshire for snow days and tubing opportunities Because of the blizzard, I had to stay another night at a different hotel (here)

So, this hotel wasn’t the baddest stay The swimming pool was small, but just for a night so I didn’t think it would hurt Comfortable bedding and pillows for sleeping purposes The view wasn’t the best, because it was just the roof We just had to stay in the area for one more night so it was fine

Tamara Snyder

Excellent stay! Clean, spacious studio suite, 2 queen beds, sofa, large bathroom Seemed brand new Greeted warmly by Neil & Emily at check in

Check out with Emily was a breeze Quiet nights sleep Breakfast was good with automatic pancake maker and area was clean Good luck at college in the fall Neil, hope you have a great experience in Pennsylvania!

Great spot The park and the pool area was so convenient My kids spent hours going back and forth all day

In the evening we went to the indoor pools where we used the water slides several times The hot tub was huge At around 930 we sat out on the deck and watched the fireworks The day we left the girl at the front desk (Ashley) was so pleasant and accommodating First time going, will definitely be coming again

Meghan Filacanevo

We stay here several times a year It’s great for us and our 3 kids I love having the space these rooms offer! No having to go to sleep at the same time as the kids because they’re in their own room! I can cook and have people visit

We’re all really comfy here Indoor pool is very nice and we just tried out the new game room Kids were happy! We saw fire pits this visit but didn’t get to check them out That’s for next time!

Overall stay was good but a few things not so good When we arrived carrying our bags into the hotel there is a notice on the desk to go check in up the street at their sister hotel Pretty annoying we didn’t know this ahead of time and had to carry everything back and drive up the street

Rooms are pretty basic Beds are comfy Cleaning could be better- need to pay attention to details and wipe down walls I went for a facial at cascade spa which was fantastic BUT the steam room is absolutely disgusting The grout is filled with mold Restaurant downstairs Lago was great Food was delicious and service was a 10 Gets crazy busy so out your name on the list early! Not sure the price I paid was worth it but high season drives high prices I guess

Steve Ropiak

A grand hotel Unfortunately, there are several other properties under the same management in the immediate area so there’s no staff on site The nearest staff in the event of an issue is a half mile away

We never encountered any problems in our five day stay so I can’t comment on how quickly they respond A major plus is that there is hot coffee 25-7 There is no restaurant on site at this property

Staying at this bed and breakfast was a great experience Incredible value Everything was clean

Bernadette was extremely accommodating and her breakfasts were amazing There is always free beer, wine, soda, water, and coffee available The common areas are great and have nice couches, fireplaces, and TVs There was a snow storm coming in when we were supposed to leave and Bernadette offered to let us stay an extra night free if we got stranded The location was amazing as it was close to all attractions in the area, yet it was out of the way of the action for an opportunity to enjoy a scenic solitude Will absolutely stay here again Can’t say enough good about this location I wish Bernadette all the success in the world in her new endeavor

Jess Holbrook

This was an awesome experience Lovely historic Inn with plenty of charm and a warm feeling Grab a glass and head to the back deck at sunset, it’s an amazing beauty

The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming It is a struggle to find a critique or criticism The only one I can offer is that the stairs to the upper rooms are a bit of a narrow step (as can be common in older/early buildings) so being sure footed would be necessary to stay on the upper floors

Adrian Short

Bernadette and her staff provide a very relaxing and most enjoyable atmosphere in which to stay, the rooms are very well-appointed relaxing and comfortable You have access to other lounge areas, veranda and garden as well as your room There are also local walking trails within the property

The views are exceptional, especially on the veranda during the evenings Breakfast is freshly cooked that morning and divine, more than sufficient Good location for the lakes and Meredith with its shops and restaurants, it’s not really a walking distance though Good access to the White Mountain area and other local points of interest Highly recommend this property

4 stars only because I don’t know what the room accommodations are like I’m here for a two-day massage therapy conference I can say the staff are pleasant and helpful, the prepared lunches were better than I expected, the building inside is clean and gorgeous

Without a doubt, I’d probably stay here rather than driving next year and could confidently recommend them to visitors

Nicole Garrity

Went for a wedding (which gets 5 stars💜) The one star for this place is due to the lack of staff and highly inconvenient check in I made multiple attempts to check into our room

Called the day prior to request early check in since the wedding started at 1 but check in wasn’t until 4 When I got there at 12:45 there was no one at the desk We moved onto the wedding and made another attempt just before 4 They indicated it still wasn’t ready So we went back to the wedding They FINALLY called me at 5:39 to let me know our room was ready… mind you check in is supposedly 4 So they failed to even have my room ready for what they offered as a check in time Well at 5:45 we were dancing and enjoying our friends So when I found a lull in the wedding I went back to the front desk to try and check in (Around 8) I waited for 5 minutes before a maintenance man came over and asked if I was being helped I explained the situation and my frustration He wasn’t able to check me in I had to ask him if he could radio someone Which he couldn’t So I wasn’t present for 30+ minutes of my friends wedding trying to check into this place Finally I told them to cancel my reservation and that I would just drive home At least they refunded my deposit

Nicole Chase (Nicole)

Beautiful location amazing scenery Located in the Lakes Region right on Lake Winnipesaukee Perfect Area/place to stay and/or have a Wedding! It’s Within walking distance to the town docks, 3 different places to enjoy delocious Ice Cream, many different little shops and restaurants

I love this place ! But they just changed to a two night minimum out of nowhere! Not on website or policy on site

! So disappointed ! My hubby and I come here to relax and enjoy the tub in room Now we cant unless we pay or stay for two nights ! Not cool at all ! We clean up after ourselves staffing shouldn’t be a reason to drop loyal customers abilities to continue to stay Some of us want to ski and stay at our fav place without spending a fortune because of a non verified policy change! So so so mad about this!

This hotel is one of the worst I’ve stayed at A nightmare came true Thankfully it’s only for one night

There was a stain of period blood under our fitted sheet Absolutely disgusting especially right now, you would think that housekeeping would know better The shower curtain has a huge yellow stain that’s a foot high how is this ok? We were way too disgusted to take a shower There was also used contacts on the carpet and water bottle cap left by the side of the bed When we turned on the fireplace, the fire alarm started going off we got scared because we weren’t sure if it’s leaking carbon monoxide On top of that, they charge a resort fee even though no amenities is open due to Covid Over $300 a night for a place that’s seen only from horror movies no thanks Please don’t waste your money here Customer service is not helpful at all, good luck trying to get a person on the phone
