Great experience!! Food available for purchase at the front desk is KEY when you have small children that do nothing but eat all day (and night) long! The pool was great and clean! The rooms were clean! The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING!! The rooms, for the price were HUGE! And with all of this, were friendly staff members to make it all happen Easy 5 stars

Angelique McAlpine

C’mon Hilton – a little preventive maintenance goes a long way – you’re better than this!Staff was excellent Cheap furniture and fixtures are showing deferred maintenance or just aren’t well built enough, or installed correctly for hotel use Very clean room (except for the caulk issue) and nice atmosphere in the common spaces

Decent value for the area I second the comments about the wavy hallway carpeting

Aimie Thomas

We stayed in room 114 on the first floor The room was clean and the kitchen was very convenient The pool was nice also

The breakfast was surprisingly good with them offering hot foods and a variety of things to accommodate different dietary needs My only complaint is the floor we were on had a lot of “pet rooms” and the entire hallway around our room smelled like cat urine It wasn’t pleasant to come out of your room in the morning to that smell This is the problem with allowing pets like cats in a hotel

Walls are thin We were their for a sports tournament, their were tons of kids running around late into the night We could hear everything

Bar downstairs had outdoor seating and we could hear that until 2am I would say get your room on the opposite side of the bar Breakfast time came and parents allowed the children to run and play all around the food Staff was able to refill food quick enough for all the guestThe hotel staff itself was professional and friendly The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The pool wasn’t available

Mike Ober

Room was good Breakfast was good This hotel isn’t close to other dining so be ready to drive a few minutes to dining

The big, and only real issue is that you get zero maid service unless you stay for five days or more For towels and linens this makes a lot of sense However, it also means they don’t empty the trash or check the toilet paper stock At the price of a SpringHill Suites hotel, this takes them from a five star to a one star

John Hutzenbuhler

Patricia at front desk did an amazing job! Rest of stay experience very poor Confirmed floor was not available (confirmed by chat room day of stay) Light in bathroom not working and took 2 days to fix

No soap in shower Room smelled Other than Patricia, poor customer service from front desk Of course, no room cleaning due to staffing shortage or whatever reason Hotel can control all of these issues – maintenance, proper cleaning, etc Also preferred status at Hilton receive water – not at Marriott anymore? Normally, I enjoy Marriott and have great experiences – this was an exception

I arrived late so I wasn’t able to meet anyone at reception, but my key and necessary documents were left safely for meIt is difficult to access this incredibly fascinating building if you are lugging your stuff up to the second floor in the rain

But if I had arrived on time this would not have been a problemFor a shockingly affordable price, you will be treated to an incredibly adorable and perfect room with a refrigerator and a microwave, a spa tub!In addition to regular bathroom facilities, and the generally expected television, etcThe decor here is just perfect The bed is comfortable The room is remarkably and pleasantly clean There is a fireplace, but I am making use of the air conditionerBreakfast was a lovely affair Continental is available for those who would prefer coffee and a bagel, but a small, hot, made to order menu is available I was not expecting this! The staff were friendly and did not seem to mind my incessant questions about the history of this beautiful spaceA great night Followed by an excellent morning; well rested and fed and back on the road! I look forward to coming back!

From the time Mike showed us our room my girlfriend had a smile a mile wide We stayed in the Orient Express room It was on the first floor right next to the entrance, very convenient

Breakfast was very good with a nice selection We asked Mike if it was possible to have a love seat so we could sit together in front of the fireplace When we came back from dinner a chair for two was in our room What a perfect place and area to propose to the love of mine We will definitely come back The Globe Inn will be our anniversary destination every year

Tabatha Mohr

Such a great place to stay! Quant, cozy, and personal, just what we desired Love the history and the spacious room We stayed in the Vienna Bridal Suite and it was clean and so nice

Our room has a little sitting space, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, bathroom with shower, queen size bed, and desk areaAs an added bonus, it smells like brownies outside, for real! Apparently there is a chocolate factory close by!

*Is currently under construction/remodel, but still had a nice stay! Overall the construction didnt affect our stay Rooms were nice- great bed and nice pillows! Nick at the front desk was great! Very nice, pleasant and patient The location was pretty nice-close enough to the highway, gas stations and restaurants too

Only real complaint was the dim lighting of some parking areas, other than that it was good

Josh Gonzalez

Overall a very great experience, room was very nice and clean with updated interior Room was equipped with a new smart TV and usb chargers This was especially helpful for keeping my phone and other devices charged

Bathroom was clean and well taken care of with nice bath and body toiletries My room was also equipped with a king size bed and it was super comfortable I only stayed here one night because I was stuck in town with the snow storm, but was more than impressed My only suggestion is Room Service needs to let people sleep in If I’m checking out at 11am, there’s no reason they should be waking me up at 8am knocking and yelling “ROOM SERVICE”

Glen Gorman

Showed up to the hotel for my brother’s wedding and the stay was phenomenal! All the accomodations were fantastic, super supportive staff and everyone was incredibly friendlyA special shout-out to Christine, at the front desk She was instrumental in helping me get in my room after me arriving too late and was a joy to be around

I may never be back in this area, but if I am I will go out of my way to choose this hotel Thank you Christine! -グレン

The staff was very nice but the rooms were old and shabby The sitting room furniture in the room Iwas in should all be replaced, it was not very clean or comfortable The laundry room was old and not very clean

There was a lot of variety at breakfast but only average in taste and presentation I was charged twice for the room and even though they admitted they had charged me twice I had to wait for the person who billed me to get approval before refunding the money In all fairness the credit appeared on my credit card as pending the same day This location is convenient, close to offices and the train but unless you are a business traveller who needs this location I don’t think the amenities or the room are worth the price

Thomas Webber

It’s getting old I am a die hard Hilton fan and a comfort inn is nicer than this place, (plus it’s cheaper) Our room and most of the back of the first floor, by the pool door, smelled strongly like weed

They are doing renovations soon, but it can’t come soon enough As usual, you now have to ask to have your room refreshed, but even that was a bit mediocre If I only paid $89 for the night, I’d understand But $145 is a bit much, for this type of service

Hampus Engstroem

This hotel is extremely dated The rooms look like they were designed by a grandma in the early 2000sThe worst part, and it’s honestly the main reason for the low score, was the absolute stench coming from the shower enclosure

It smelled like really old gym socks, or a wet dog I could barely stand to be in there I tried to take a picture of the smell, but then I remembered that that’s not a thing, however, this bathroom could definitely be used to research this technology in the future, that’s how bad it wasThere is no on-site restaurant which is always a bummer The wifi barely worked, I ended up just using the hot spot on my phone instead The breakfast was decent, and the evening social offered a decent amount of variety to pretty much have an actual dinner during itThis hotel is due for a major upgrade overall

I live across the street from the Marriott Lansdale Occasionally I’ll have visitors from out of town and when I can’t accommodate them I put them up at the Marriott Lansdale I find the the hotel is clean, well-run and represents the Marriott brand in a good light

This is especially true for the friendly staff inside the Marriott’s restaurant/bar, The Porch The food is very good and it was a pleasure getting to know Frank the bartender, a true professional

Olivia Carr

How can a hotel give your reserved room away when you arrive no later than 9:00pm??? I called earlier that night and told them as such They assured me my room would be ready for me Then they give the room away?!?! Unprofessional

Horrible customer service Brigitte is a terrible manager who makes awful decisions Shame on you Brigitte!!

Ryan Reid

Highly recommended Clean room and extremely comfortable beds Stayed with my wife and 2 kids and didn’t feel on top of each other

Family enjoyed the food from the Porch and the service was excellent Thank you Shirley 😊 Great place to relax and recharge A couple things to improve 📺 in room kept on going out and no signal Changed remotes but same result Mobile key access was none existence 😪 Overall, 4 out 5 for me! As we finish our relaxing weekend stay at Barley Sheaf, I am compelled to sing the praises of this location Prior to our arrival, when unforeseen circumstances had affected the original room we had reserved, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our satisfaction Our stay since has been extremely enjoyable, from the incredible service of the staff and gourmet meals (dinner at the restaurant was superb, as was the complimentary breakfast) to the peaceful grounds and lovely room

I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a relaxing or romantic getaway The 5 stars are well deserved!!!

Aunnika Short

We came here to catch up with friends for dinner and the service was excellent We hadn’t seen each other in months, so thank you for giving us time to catch up before taking our orders We were able to take our time and really enjoy the meal

If you come here, be sure to get the chocolate pudding cake – it’s heaven! They also give you a cookie to take home which is icing on the cake of a great evening Thank you for such a great dinner – now I just need to try the brunch!

Michael Bomze

Wow, what a place! Such a slice of tranquility just a short drive from Philly Was here for a wedding and we were so glad we had the opportunity to stay overnight at the Inn – in the Hello Sweetheart cottage in particular Sure the clearance is comically short in sections (at least for a 6’2” guy) but the uniqueness of the space (including a below-ground jacuzzi

most excellent), comfort of the bed and excellent shower more than made up for the slight inconvenience of contorting or ducking to account for some wacky ceiling angles Add on a very gracious and helpful owner and probably the most impressive and delicious included-breakfast in Pennsylvania, and the place is a dream Excellent venue for a wedding, too Just had a wonderful time overall and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Will be back for sure

This hotel was very clean, it was a very nice place to stay Kat greeted us when we checked in, was very nice and very helpful She suggested a place to eat about a mile away which was very good

Didn’t check out the pool area but judging by the rest of the place, it would be great Breakfast was hot, coffee was very good Highly recommend this place

Pai Nam Cheung

Don’t know why the digital key never work, this is not the first time, I am disappointed The free breakfast sounds good but not tasting right, we tried the first morning then we never went back again Waffle batter taste fake, I will rather no favor but real batter

Hard boil egg will be great or just a small charge and do it right My stepdaughter live closeby, I would love to have a great hotel to stay all the time

David Strong

Interesting experience for a usually reliable Hampton Inn We were “upgraded” to 201, a larger room Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit is not up to the task of keeping the room cool

it’s an unseasonably hot June The hotel provided a box fan to get through the night Not a good long-term plan Moreover, the 2nd floor ice machine was not working Had to go to the 3rd floor The staff was pleasant and helpful

Nice hotel I feel like “The Alloy” focused their expenses and updates on the lobby/ dining area (which to be fair is beautiful) The rooms are nice as well with newer furnishings, but don’t quite match the elegance of the main entrance

Staff was very friendly and helpfulMy room was equipped with a mini fridge (which was great) However, the bathroom did not have a fan, which led to cloudy mirrors after showering I could sometimes hear other guests through the walls (but it was not overly bothersome)Parking was manageable There are many restaurants, coffee, and grocery stores nearby You cannot hear any highway noise from inside the rooms

Lucero Galvan

Beautifully remodeled hotel All the main areas, including rooms, had updated features and decor Note, that the only “outdated” area, IMO, was the bathroom – however still very nice and spacious

We received a warm cookie at check in, which we enjoyed in one of their outside seating areas, with the most comfortable couches The fully-stocked bar area had plenty of seating for drinking or collaborating with colleagues The best part was the gym It had all the needed machines and weights to have a fairly good workout They even have an area with ear phones in case you forgot your own All the machines seemed new, with TV workout interactions It’s one of the better hotels we’ve stayed on our work trip in Philly

J Ra John

This will be my second time coming to The Alloy, and it didn’t disappoint The staff upon check-in were amazing, beautiful, helpful, warm, and welcoming The Hotel itself, sets very elegantly on the property

The general entrance / commons, bar, and restaurant areas are so well-kept and look great The rooms are spacious, clean, updated, and comfortable I really have no complaints for The Alloy on this stay It was pleasant, and close to everything I needed to get to All major retail, and entertainment are within seconds, to a few minutes from the property I have now made this place a permanent consideration, for future leisure or business stops in the KOP area

I only stayed for a night and checked in very late The staff was so nice and polite The hotel is very nice and clean

Unfortunately my sheets were dirty on the bed and the toilet was very dirty Besides the room not being turned over correctly it was a very nice stay The rooms are spacious, air conditioning works great They provide body wash and shampoo I the bathroom There’s a TV iron and a mini fridge that fits a good amount of left overs There is also a nice Starbucks in the lobby and a nice mini mart with frozen dinners and snacks since things aren’t open very late in that area

Brianna Hawkins

This was a good stay! I was in town for work and stayed here for a week! The hotel and the rooms were clean But the best part was TONY at the front desk!!!! He was so personable, willing to help answer my questions, and gave me a rundown of the area! Some of the best customer service I have ever received! The only reason this stay loses a star is because I prepaid for a King room but was given a Queen because all of the Kings were gone on the first night of my stay but the staff worked to change it for my remaining 6 nights which was great!

Ryan R

I have to say, I was very frustrated to find out that this location didn’t have a pool The frustration came from a badly placed google image of a pool that the hotel used to have, right when you google the hotels name It was confusing and misleading

Therefore, we cancelled our stay, but still got charged due to hotel policyI voiced my concerns to Marriott and within a few short days, they got me in touch with the Front Desk Supervisor Their name was Alex and they were extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with Alex got everything squared away for me and issued a refundI just really appreciated the effort and the help from this hotel We may not have stayed there this time but judging by how helpful the staff was, we’d stay in the future Thank you again!!

We had a lunch event to celebrate my son’s baptism Kiera was great and answered all of my questions prior to the event The food was amazing and the staff was incredible and the space was the perfect size for 30 people! The bartender was great to my guests and nobody waited long to get their drinks

I really appreciate how wonderful you made the day and can’t wait to go back to the hotel for dinner Thank you all again so much!

jamie jacobs

Had lunch over weekend We went to downstairs bar, the bartenders warned us it will take a while to get served Ok no problem we weren’t in a hurry

About 20 min later we placed an order for 2 pear martinis They were delish! We both had the chicken gyro Seriously the worst gyro I’ve ever had The chef literally threw a dry chicken breast, lettuce n a tomato on an even dryer gyro…there was no spread on it I took one bite n set aside My sister did the same We told the bartender it was terrible, he shrugged n took it away He did remove one from the bill I expected much more from a restaurant of this scale
