I stayed at Rosevine for a nursing travel assignment and couldn’t be more pleased to have chosen to stay here I stayed in the Texas Legends room Bert and Becca are absolutely wonderful and treat you like their own family

Any issues were quickly addressed through e-mail with Bert’s assistant, Emily The house and each room is decorated beautifully Enjoy some time in the hot tub, media room, or the charming barn You can tell a lot of thought and effort is put in to make Rosevine Inn the place to stay If you’re looking for a place to stay for your travel assignment in Tyler or even a weekend getaway, I would definitely recommend Rosevine Inn! Angela at the front desk was totally awesome leading up to & during our 2 night stay She was so pleasant, super helpful & professional, went above & beyond to make our stay there with my 95 year old mom as pleasant & stress-free as possible for my mom as well as us while we were there for our son’s wedding! In my travels, I’ve never experienced any staff at hotels as genuinely caring or providing such great customer care! Hope the management recognizes the jewel they have in this lady & gives her kudos AND a raise! The other front desk staff with her on 4/22 was also helpful when my son’s dog needed help

Other staff were friendlyHotel was clean & beds comfortable Place was well-run I highly recommend, Especially as long as Angela is there!!! 😊

Stayed here for a wedding Our room didn’t have wash clothes and we had them bring some up to us The room also didn’t have regular coffee just decaf

Then we found that the coffee pot was broken and full of water They wanted us to come pickup the items but we refused and they brought them to us Staff was nice Housekeeping needs to do a better job at least in the room we had

Hotel needs a DEEP CLEAN!!! Like serious DEEP CLEAN!!! The staff was very kind but couldn’t resolve the TV remote issue After working on it for over an hour and 4 remotes later it still did not work Drove 5 hours and just wanted to relax when we arrived before heading out for the evening

The several asks to provide what I paid for in our room was never received I paid extra for the amenities that were not in the room when we arrived and never showed up Extremely frustrating! As well as the hot tub is NOT hot! Its like a small pool with jets What is the point?! This could be a wonderful place but the Hilton brand name did not hold up to the standards we expected upon arrival

This Hotel really impressed us with how clean and well maintained is was The staff delivered superb service and made us fell welcome and at home The room was quiet, clean and well stocked

Beds were comfortable and the linens fresh The complimentary hot breakfast was good and the woman looking after the restaurant area made sure everything was perfect

*Not* travel healthcare worker approved Do not put your employees up hereThis place looks like it was once nice, but not any more

Checked into my room and checked the bedding like I do in every hotel I stay at and there were many hairs in the sheets, and random dried (not been washed) stains on the sheets and comforters The room smelled like gym shoes, and the couch had a large dark stain on the cushion Only reason I leave two stars is because the woman at the front desk who booked me a new room was very nice and helpful Continuing, the hallway carpets are atrocious I’ve seen cleaner motel carpets Heck I’ve even seen cleaner frat house carpets Checked into my new room and the bedding was clean but the bed skirt looked like a 5 year old tried to put it on, the couch was also stained, the kitchen sink smelled so bad I had to put the plug in it, and went to get a water glass out of the cabinet only to find that there was lipstick on both the glasses I selected I would have ran a load of dishes, but the dishwater was already full upon arrival There was also something that looked like blood on the door stop and toilet seat in the bathroom Didn’t even dare open the refrigerator out of dread of what I would find

Absolutely gorgeous property! We stayed in Joshuas Cabin and I wouldn’t have changed a thing It’s easy to get to, the cabin itself was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfortable Coffee is provided for brewing and there is a microwave

We had our mountain bikes to go to Tyler State Park and the ATV/hiking trails on this property made for excellent short distance uphill and downhill riding The shower house is clean and the water is hot Great fire pit for sitting around after dark Just perfect!I needed to get away from my house because work-from-home was killing me and this was AMAZING

Sonja Deupree

We had such a wonderful time! Our night at the cabins was a gift from my sister, and we enjoyed our time so much The property is only about 45 minutes from our home, which was a bonus as we never have time for a get-away The owner was very kind and worked with us on the scheduling, as I procrastinated and almost waited too late to get it worked in

It’s a nice remote, quiet area with lots of trees, the cabins have so much character and there are lots of trails to explore We didn’t bring our poles, but there’s a nice lake on the property as wellWe had heavy rain storms, and it was nice to sit inside and listen to the rain on the metal roof The wood for the cabins is milled on the property, which was homesteaded by the family in the 1800’s (I love family history)The cabins are small, and the showers are at the ‘Bathhouse’, but we had everything else we needed for a quick get away Because of the heavy rain, we didn’t get to hike as much as we wanted to, but we enjoyed the hike we were able to get in, with the resident ‘guide dog’ She was so sweet, took us all the way up to the top of the trail, and made sure we got back to the cabinI hope that we’re able to get back to Wood Haven soon, I would definitely recommend visiting!!

It was exactly what neededAfter we had driven 12-14 hours on this particular leg of our journey, we decided to finally stop for the night, instead of attempting to make it another 5 hoursComfortable, clean room with a HOT shower and great AC

Pet friendly as well, which was great for our 23# pooch Even the complementary breakfast that was scheduled to start at 6:00 am was ready at least 30 minutes early, so that we were able to get an earlier that expected start on the next leg of our tripThe very friendly and hospitable night staff were absolutely TOP NOTCHI would recommend this La Quinta location to everyone!

Excellent hotel for traveling with dogs: available fields on each side of the easy-access location Older hotel, well-maintained with soft water, excellent pressure, hot/hot showers, all amenities in room, and most comfortable bed ever experienced in hotels Front desk staffer Hope a dream-come-true for travelers

friendly, competent, super customer service Multiple food and shopping services available within walking distance Hot breakfast back in business

Kate Hoey

Overall very meh Served my basic needs as a hotel, clean bed to sleep in with bathroom facilities Mostly friendly front desk staff other than the white-haired lady who talked on the phone constantly, even through my need for help with my room key

Pet friendly even for large breeds (Great Dane) Otherwise, it smelled very musty the moment you walk in, my room was very humid and never felt quite cool, I found sunglasses and a damp towel in my bathroom when I checked in, the floor in my room was sticky, the furniture is damaged and the walls in my room needed repair, the bathroom handicap bar was dangerously loose, and the breakfast was somewhat sad Wouldn’t recommend but not the worst hotel stay of my life

The energy and love that was poured into the restoration of this fabulous facility flows back out into the guest and restores your soul during your stay at Wren in the Willows The boundless attention to even the most minute detail is endlessly fascinating! The bedrooms, each themed after a great work of literature, were incredibly detailed The common areas were exceptional for spending time together in the rich, authentic hues that accentuated the history of the house

The hosts provided so many amenities above and beyond what would normally be part of a weekend visit that it made the trip all that much more enjoyable Basic breakfast items, coffee, and an luscious pound cake were all waiting for us upon arrival, as was Angel – ready to share the history of the house and give any tips for our visitAlthough we only stayed three nights, the house easily contained weeks worth of enjoyment for guests, and I’m sure if there were a house mystery (wink, wink) it would be described as over-the-top or exceptionally creative or endlessly fascinating! Highly recommended and would definitely visit again when in the area, hopefully with more time to spend exploring this beauty

Trailer Drake

Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed and is better than any hotel or bed and breakfast you could ask for The themed rooms are one of a kind with expertly curated decorations, the hosts are amazing and wonderful chefs, the common areas are spotless and offer great entertainment, the location is centrally located, and the home has a fantastic historyThe absolute highlight was the optional escape room-style mystery in the common areas

This was completely unadvertised , but was so well executed that its worth the price alone I ABSOLUTELY plan on coming back when the proposed additions are complete and I’m excited to see how the renovated property next door turns out so I can stay there too!

Matt W (fenris072)

Angel and Louis have a gift in the way of hospitality, and they share it freely with all of their guests They cater to your trip, provide way more than any other hotel or b&b I have ever stayed in and spend time making sure your stay is comfortable and easyAnd then there is the location

Being a local, I admit I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the address, but the house is charming and warm It is conveniently located to so many things I forgot were in the areaIn short, this was an amazing stay, and this b&b will be our go to staycation destination
