We had a great three day golf trip! We had the suite room, which was awesome The food was great the entire time we were there The golf courses were in awesome condition

I can’t pick a favorite We played 90 holes and loved it I will say that they did an AWESOME job with their port-o-pottys on the courses, they were everywhere and it never failed that they smelled great!! I can’t wait to go back 🙂

Attended an annual golf outing over the weekend with 23 in our party Stayed in one of the villas Multiple people from our group reported ants in parts of their villa

Bathroom especially; floor and on the sink top all over my bathroom essentials Dead bugs all around the sliding door; just not clean Was given a check list of things to do before leaving, if not completed, we’d be charged an extra $50 I get making it easier for your workers and all but then I’d expect the rooms to be clean and bug-less at least Older guy in the pro shop was not people friendly at all Needs to get off his high-horse and learn to be accommodating When we pay for “unlimited golf,” don’t tell us ‘there’s 64 others in front of you so I’ll see you in 2 hrs’ But when the conversation continues, we can tee off blue right away? New owners need to realize what they’re going to lose Hearing how poor the staff is treated along with dirty rooms, MULTIPLE people not even in our group talking about how poor things have gotten, and then wanting to increase drink prices; what a joke A shame to see such a great place go downhill so fast simply from ownership I hope the staff can get out and find something better; they truly are the only reason I’d return (Can’t wait for the auto response of ‘we’ll use this to better accommodate those in the future’ Sure you will)

I am giving this hotel an EXCELLENT rating because absolutely everything was great during my stay I am a Trucker and had the unfortunate occasion to have some serious truck trouble Found a local shop to take care of the truck issues, and am so glad I came across this hotel which took care of the me issues

I was able to make a last minute reservation and was pleasantly surprised at how well my room was appointed The Front Desk staff were awesome, I also interacted with several ladies on the cleaning staff who were friendly and accommodating The hotel was spotless, breakfast selection was great There are so many things that can add great levels of stress for anyone in business when encountering various problems or set backs especially when they cost, but staying at this hotel helped tremendously to ease my mind and give me an opportunity to take a breath I was unable to utilize several other amenities like the exercise room and indoor pool but did see other people enjoying these things If you are looking for a great travel experience in this area, look here first Kudos to all of you for taking such good care of me I am forever gratefulDonovan HilliardGenerations Enterprises LLCMemphis, TN

This is our go-to place when visiting Manitowoc on business It’s a nice hotel and the rooms are everything you would want in a hotel stayI had the balcony room this time which would be nice if there was something going on in the atrium

Otherwise, it’s not worth any extra chargeI will say, this is one of the few hotels I’ve stayed in that, when you put the air conditioner on cold, it actually gets and stays coldThe breakfast, which isn’t included but you get a coupon, is just the standard boxed, boring breakfast and it actually wasn’t good at all

Michelle Brown

The first room we were given was never cleaned so we asked for another one Second one seemed fine but realized it didn’t have heat in the middle of the night when there was no controls for the fan unit and the controls that were there were not secured in the box so anyone with small children would have to be mindful of exposed wires The pool area was messy and my son said the hot tub was green with some slimy things floating in it

We were told by the morning check out person they would make adjustments to our bill but that never happened My husband is an elite member of IHG and he received nothing It was horrible

Excellent place to spend the night Staff was nice, prices were good and the room was clean My favorite part was hearing the waves crash right out our room window

The pool looked nice and was clean although we didn’t swim in it, we stopped to check it out The attached restaurant was very good and beautiful view of Lake Michigan! I’d definitely go back and stay there if in the area again and would recommend it to anyone

I booked directly with the motel and got a 10% AAA discount The rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable The first night was quiet

Our room was on the back side of the motel so we didn’t have road noise However, being next to the stairwell where people used to go outside to smoke resulted in many banging doors which kept me awake the 2nd night We enjoyed having a refrigerator in the roomWe appreciated the fresh fruit bowl and coffee/tea readily available Due to Covid they didn’t have self-serve breakfast, but you could order from a small selection and designate a time to pick it up We would have preferred some milk and Raisin Bran, but the breakfast sandwiches were tasty, just not very nutritiousALL the staff was very pleasant

deb

Very clean quaint place to stay Friendly helpful staff This place has a lot of charm

Breakfast was okThe downside of this place was the outside I noticed a lot of cigarette butts Not sure if they have enough containers if any for smokers It would look a lot nicer if someone would clean the butts up

I’ve been here before to visit friends who were staying here and used the pool Great pool and hot tub area Staff is super friendly

Always very clean, and I love that it has a pool bar I stayed the night for the first time with my fiance in a hot tub room The room was really big, clean and the hot tub is the an actual size hot tub, so that was really nice However the beds are what I’d call a hard board on springs Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in

James Schuessler

It’s hard to justify $300 a night when the “fire place” heater doesn’t function and you can’t reach anyone at the front counter The jacuzzi was not fully operational either and lacked key features like jets for your feet That being said we came into a clean room and the staff was friendly

I don’t know if you can find a better experience that doesn’t break the bank so much but if someone has a suggestion I’m all ears It can be a great place depending on your budget*Edit: I’ve stayed at this suite twice Once in 2020 when I made a reservation and again about a month ago when I didn’t make the reservation If you have the extra money it’s still the best personal whirlpool experience in the area

Linda Ullrich

Booked this motel this past weekend for a softball tournament We had a block of rooms First a shout out to Morgan who set up my reservations

She was the most helpful and accommodating person ever! When we checked in she made sure we were all together and made some accommodations for some of the families needing rooms on the ground floor Great staff Clean rooms, do say beds are not the most comfortable This place may not look the best from the outside, however rooms were nice and clean Seems like floors may have recently been updated We would stay here again They had an area off the pool outside where they had tables, bags game and they had a giant Jenga too The one thing I could say that needed attention was the outside area All Tables had webs all over and so did the tables and chairs on the deck so we didn’t sit back there Just going forward give the outside stuff some attention Other than that no complaints Between the beds not the most comfortable and the back courtyard is the only reason not a 5 star Thanks Morgan for all your help!!Linda U- Caledonia Hurricanes

The hotel apparently looks good, when you get to the room the smell is not very pleasant, it is a mixture of humidity with cigarettes, it was a non-smoking room, the poorly painted room, old chairsthe room needs updating, especially the bathroom, the door is dirty, stained and brokenMold on the frame bed,the wall Cracked, the bathtub dirty and moldy,

The sheets did not smell clean, especially the pillows and the carpet in the room felt damp Location is good, breakfast is not good DEFINITELY I would not stay again
