This hotel was a great place to stay the night on our trip home The room was super clean along with the rest of the hotel The breakfast in the morning was hot and the front desk clerk kept the breakfast room spotless, he cleaned after every guest filled their plates and finished eating

It was so nice to be in such a clean facility with friendly attentive staff We would definitely stay here again if in the area Worth every penny

This hotel is very nice Patrick was at the front desk and he was very friendly Check-in was fast

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable Our room was very quiet, too Breakfast was greatmore than enough to get you going in the morning The coffee was very good! Over-all, this is a nice place to stay (my wife and I stayed two nights) I will stay here again and I recommend it Just gotta mention Patrick at the front-desk againvery nice guy!

Three stars is a mid level rating not disappointing and not surprisingly great That is average in my book, as it indicates my expectations were metThe room was physically clean and smelled clean and fresh but not chemically

The bed was comfortable and clean as well All in all the stay was fineThe hotel is near I-10, so there is some road noise, again as expected The noise, however, was not bothersome to meSo, in summary, a solid three star or average, as expected, ratingDisappointing me results in lost stars A pleasant surprise will earn an added star or, if exceptional, two

It reminded me of what a Tucson quaint resort would be It was a referral for us to check Lou check out and it lived up to what was described to us as a quiet get away for us as a coupleThe staff was awesome! Especially the gentleman that was running the breakfast every morning

He was very kind and Thoughtful and we saw him 4 mornings in a row The options were awesome for a free breakfast the views were one of the best parts, you do not have patio or inside were both great choices Free mimosas were awesome too!We didn’t try the regular rooms we did get a suite that was pretty cool because it had its own patio in front and patio in the back and a Mini kitchen… There was no bathtub So for warning if you want to soak, but they do have a Hot tub that was nice and a well kept pool, though it was showing its age One of the small amount of pools left that still have a deep end so it’s nice to do a little dive :)They have a good event center that I’m hoping to do a wellness event ato vent at so I encourage anybody wanting to easier access for traffic and parking place to do an event to check it outIf there was one thing that stands out that I would ask them to improve it would be the elevator😬 I know it’s older but the smell was odd and it just seemed rickety and wasn’t a good 1st impression when taking things down to the rooms It could make a world of difference to have a nice elevator to greet people for their 1st time on the property It would be a great investment for that establishment Outside of that everything else was well maintained, comfortable, quaint, totally Southwest to Tucson vibe, and nice Courtyard gardensWill be coming back again

Quaint, cozy, clean and affordable are the words that best describe this little hidden oasis We love that it is the most pet friendly hotel we’ve ever been to Staff were nice and accommodating

Only reason why I cannot give it 5 stars is because 1) There is no on site laundry facility and 2) The bathroom does not have a vent fan Other than that, this is the best place to take your family and your pet(s) while in Tucson

Jim Mash

This is a cozy hotel, we enjoyed our stay The staff are exceptional, they gave us great accommodations because we are with our kids, the breakfast were great, more than the standard hotel continental breakfast The hotel layout and architectures are quite unique, like in south Spain or some Caribbean town

Location is close to lots of shops and restaurants, very convenient Will definitely come back next time!

A perfect weekend is to be had at this B&B! We booked a two-night stay with the Falconry Experience package, and the weekend could not have been better Steinen Hurtado is the perfect hostess and her attention to detail results in an incredibly relaxing and delightful stay Steinen has thought of everything, and I cannot think of a single aspect of our stay that needed improvement in any way

The B&B grounds are naturally lovely, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the breakfasts are delicious and generous in size We visited Saguaro National Park as well as the Desert Museum during our stay, and came back from both trips to fresh cookies and self-serve coffee, which revived us while we transitioned to dinner plans We sat on our private patio with a fire burning in the chiminea one night, we sat in the hot tub the next night (which was heated to a perfect 102 degrees), and we snacked on some of the tasty morsels provided to us in our room fridge throughout our stay The Falconry Experience was absolutely incredible, and was so convenient, seeing as the first day of the experience takes place right on the grounds of the B&B The rooms are set up on the opposite side of the main house, which provides the perfect amount of distance between both parties There is a patio that beckons the viewing of gorgeous sunsets, and if Steinen is available, she will join you there for a little chat The B&B is beautifully decorated and the nights are blissfully quiet If you want to enjoy the feeling of being away from things, but still be within easy driving distance of everything, this is the place to stay We enjoyed it so much, we have booked a longer stay for the future Of all the B&Bs we have stayed at, this is definitely one of the best!

Jami Kusek

Casa Tierra B&B is a Sonoran Desert gem! Located about 30 minutes west of downtown Tucson, Casa Tierra is secluded, quiet, and in the heart of the desert The B&B is surrounded by saguaros, ocotillos, prickly pear, and chollas, with mountains views all around The chimeneas, Mexican pottery, adobe walls, open-air courtyard, and hot tub all add to the ambience

Breakfast was healthy and delicious Highly recommended and hope to visit again!

Balkan

This enchanting B&B was the best part of my trip I got so spoiled by the desert view and the host’s pampering that I longed to be at the B&B instead of sightseeing Saguaro National Park was good and so was the Desert Museum and Mt Lemon, but I preferred the scenery and gorgeous sunrises from my peaceful relaxing charming quiet room

The layout of the building is perfect for privacy This is not a converted home it is perfectly designed guest lodge The location is incredible; right by all the desert attractions Wildlife is everywhere I saw coyotes, deer, a roadrunner, and even a Harris Hawk and other raptors thanks to my favorite part of the trip–a session with Sky Island Falconry right behind the B&BSteinen went above and beyond every day insuring I was comfortable and stuffed with her delicious cooking and abundant snacks She is so considerate, and dedicated so much time to making my visit wonderfulJust loved everything about this place

I travel quite a bit and it’s rare to find a place as special as the Peppertrees Inn I went to Tucson last weekend to visit my son who plays Rugby at U of A I like to stay in more interesting places than the usual hotel and the Peppertrees Inn was a one in a million find

Jill is your host and breakfast chef The home has been in her family for over 25 years She and her husband ran a bakery in Washington DC before they relocated to her childhood home to run the Inn The level of detail they take with the property and service is magical Calling it an Oasis is a great understatement The food she prepares is fabulous and the presentation so artistic, I took pictures so I could remember it I asked her how it was done and she tactfully discussed her knife skills as a pastry chef She Schooled me, a surgeon, about knives Too funny! I can not recommend the Peppertrees Inn enough I look forward to staying there again as my son progresses and graduates from the U of A

I am happy to give this establishment 5 stars Clean & comfortable hotels can still be found at an excellent value- (even in today’s market) The highlights of the suites are the large kitchenette and the extremely helpful service

The front desk personnel are kind, friendly, and accommodating (We were a family of 4 – including a special needs adult staying in the 2 queen room) The suites themselves are located in a quiet part of town relatively close to attractions I felt safe in and around the hotel I would stay again & am happy I found such family friendly lodging!

Robin

We spoke to Nichole Oram the front office manager, multiple times before our stay She was always very nice and helpful with all of our questions about Tucson and the surrounding area She recommended multiple places to dine for both breakfast and dinner

All were VERY GOOD I can’t go on enough about the diner across the road called Jerry Bob’s The staff was very friendly and the cook was spectacularOur room was very clean, and the air conditioning was nice and cold Just what you want in the hot, hot summertime We were surprised to find that we could do laundry for free while staying there We will stay at this hotel every time we pass through this part of Arizona I wish all hotels were as clean, the staff was as nice, and the location this good! Thanks again Nichole for everything

Randi rae

Great rooms, very clean and good for one person Two people might need a larger room than what they offer but for the most part very nice accomodations The staff is very helpful and friendly with the exception of one staff member who has an attitude and is not friendly or concerned with how she comes across to guests

I witnessed multiple interactions in which she was quite unfriendly I did notify the manager of my interaction with this staff member and was assured it would be addressed as it apparently is not the first time someone has brought it to their attention The staff member Ryan, I believe is her name, was my favorite and most helpful, accommodating front desk person I had the pleasure of interacting with and if I went back it would be because of the great service she provided and the effort she made to correct any issue that was brought to her attention As far as hotels pool it was small but nice, the gym was a good size and they offer free laundry which is a plus if your staying for an extended amount of time Overall I was pleased with my stay

The suite was very spacious and clean The pool area hot tub patio seats everything was kept very nice The girls at the front desk we’re polite and courteous as well as the clerk the next morning on day shift

Although they had construction going on at the time it did not affect my room and the noise from the contractors was only during working hours and did not wake us up or keep us from going to sleep Located next to great restaurants like Guadalajara right across the street I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

Dr. Holly DeWitt

Had a great 1-night stay! Front desk, Sara & Michelle, were fabulous! I stayed in a renovated room and it was so nice! Hot water, great lighting, refrigerator, comfy bed, and great location to restaurants/drinks/Whole Foods Pool was very clean and great temperature No breakfast, currently, due to renovations(but knew that going in)

Would definitely recommend!

Thomas Xyclone

We stayed at the 3 Palms for five days The room was clean but very small We had a king size bed which took up mahout 90% of the room

Actually, the room was laid out nicely and had a small refrigerator and microwave in a cabinet The room had the nicest big screen television I have ever seen The staff was very friendly We were at the back of the hotel where a lot of construction equipment was stored It appeared that the hotel was under major renovation but surprisingly the area was actually very quiet I think our room had been renovated: however I noted a large crack under the entry door Worried that rodents or bugs could easily enter the room No breakfast is offered at the hotel but coffee and tea is offered in the morning My main issue is the road in front of the hotel, N Oracle road, is like a freeway Non stop speeding traffic made it difficult to exit the property There are plenty of restaurants and businesses in the area that you can walk to but the area is much too congested Not a bad hotel, although a little expensive, but I would probably stay elsewhere on my next visit The room was just too small and there is no breakfast included with the rate

I 100% enjoyed my stay at The Graduate in Tucson The thing that stood out to me the most was the genuine kindness and prof of every person who works there Mike and Sandy checked us in and out l – I called them the dream team and my 7-year-old remarked, “Everyone here is SO nice

“The pool is super cool, I think Tucson’s only rooftop pool I felt pretty posh during my stay 🙂 The rooms are cute and most importantly SUPER CLEANWe will definitely be back! A perfect stay!

Casey Knight

Prior to stay I went through previous reviews and after reading I was skeptical but hoping for the best Unfortunately they were spot on Great hotel and location with easy access to explore the city

However, much of the staff seemed to be irritable and under the influences of substances in coffee and bar and restaurant/bar outlets We attempted to dine and enjoy the ambiance after check in but due to limited menu and lack of attention, we grabbed a drink then went off property The weather wasn’t ideal enough to utilize the pool, although the pool deck view is obstructed by high rise buildings The following morning we had hoped for a better experience but was even more disappointed The same “Manager” was working the coffee bar Service levels were very poor and the individual gave off odors from their night or even that morning, along with their mask was only covering their mouth This hotel has a lot of potential I just hope that upper management take the right steps to hire and replace some of the current staff

It was great experience staying there The room was very big and it was very quite However, the WiFi didn’t work for us

Must be because we were at a corner room We tried the spa and it was great We went to the bar and the Bob’s and it was great as well The food was very good Getting a reservation at Bob’s was difficult and we got a 8:30p reservation and that was disappointing

Emily Moyer

We arrived and it was such an easy breezy check in experience! We were lucky to have Justin who was our bellhop and not only helpful but incredibly knowledgeable and great to talk to and really went the extra mile in getting us settled into our room We had a small issue when a large family with small kids moved into the room above us a couple days into our trip and Ryan from the front desk helped to get us moved to an upstairs room within 30 mins! Chris helped us get over to the new room assuring we left nothing behind and later during our stay on the resort he would stop to assist us with various things, bring us waters, give us rides in the golf cart to the bar when it was hot All of this made our stay just so pleasant and enjoyable

The bar staff at Legends was so helpful and kind making sure we always were hydrated with ice cold waters and stiff drinks and even when I needed to deal with a low blood sugar, they were quick to get me what I needed! This resort was great to stay at, comfortable rooms, and fantastic staff The Sonoran course was also beautiful as could be and we got to stroll the Catalina course in the evenings when the sun was setting, while it was being aerated Great experience here!

Kenneth W Franklin Jr

We went for a pool day The staff are all very friendly and helpful A lot of areas are under construction but the pool is not

The pool area needs to be cleaned every morning before guests arrive Wash all chairs and tables down with a power washerGreat saltwater pool, friendly staff Just needs to be cleaned up

This hotel is amazing!! It was my last stop in a string of many hotel stays on a cross country road trip, and boy, did I save the best for last!!Very friendly front desk staff, very clean rooms with high quality soap/shampoo, comfortable beds, and great water pressure The hotel breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen, with lots of options and a large, tastefully decorated space to enjoy it Plus, I love the fresh lemonade & cookies offered by the front desk, a thoughtful touch

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!! Can’t wait to come back!

Lindsey Lou

We were pleasantly surprised We choose a king size bed room with a pullout couch It had a microwave, fridge, and sink

Plenty of space for a pack-n-play as well The front desk people were courteous and they had complimentary cookies, juice and coffee in the evening For breakfast, their food was better than other hotel breakfasts The egg omelet was soft and they had oatmeal, cereal, and waffles as well Highly recommend

Hayley Stansell

My ONLY con for our experience here was that our room lacked a microwave and the fridge didn’t have a freezer portion I feel like I have never encountered a hotel room without a microwave That said, clean place, well-maintained, just meets the criteria you would expect at a place like this very nicely

The breakfast has the usual items for a hotel in this price range – BUT, it is better attended to than most The items were prepared WELL, the eggs were good (also were just eggs, some places add ham which screws over vegetarians), they had lots of toppings for oatmeal, waffles, etc Overall just an example of a well-run hotel for it’s class Great experience!

We only stayed one night but I wanted a clean room and a welcoming atmosphere after a long day of driving The resort delivered The room looked just like the picture and it was clean and relaxing

The thermostat was easy to use which made our stay comfortable The staff was so kind and welcoming They helped us figure out dinner and get settled The waitstaff was amazing and the food was delicious We spent a few hours at the grill and had a wonderful time We are planning to come back with our full family to enjoy the other accommodations Worth the price

Doug Wicks

It’s a nice resort, beautiful environs Reasonably priced, good facilities, very nice staff Like a lot of properties, I think it needs a little refresh after covid, seems like certain things have not been attended to as perhaps they would have if Wyndham was flush, and staffing was not an issue

Paths around the property need repaving Less trafficked areas of grounds had bits of litter Carpet fraying a bit at the junction w hard floor of the bathroom Mostly very nice but

B B

We had stayed previously at the Loews Resort and had such an awful time there we decided to give this place a try, and I’m so incredibly happy we did The staff was so nice and our check in process was quick and easy, we booked through bookingcom and had no issues at all

Valet was present and able to help us to our room immeadiately and he was such a sweetheart The staff working along the property are incredibly knowledgeable about its history John Wayne and Dean Martin had stayed here before and the room they use to stay in is now the cutest gift shop The room service was amazing, everything was fresh and clean We tried all the deserts and couldn’t pick a favorite they were equally so wonderful in their own ways We walked around the gardens and the chefs garden was so amazing We saw so much wildlife including a snakes, cardinals, lizards, and lots of different species of butterflies We learned about a ghost that also roam the property and in the beginning of my stay I swear I had seen her standing in our bathroom checking on us We are huge paranormal fans so this was an out of this world stay Definitely coming back Thank you so much to everyone here!

Such a gem of a place! While the website makes things look cozy and inviting, it didn’t prepare us for how truly beautiful the inn is, its lush courtyard, sweet accommodations, and delightful host, Patti! Breakfast to order and delicious, furnishings attractive without being too “precious” to use or put a cup of coffee down We spent hours happily sitting in the dappled shade just out our door watching the hummingbirds feast and resident cats nap Close to restaurants, museums, and some of Tucson’s most treasured barrios

Ges X

A wonderful BnB, in a beautiful historic home with a lovely courtyard Patti is a warm host with a wealth of information about the area and its history The breakfasts were delicious

We want to return here and stay longer next time Such a great location: right next to downtown but enclosed in thick adobe walls and a peaceful place in the midst of the city

Michael Maxwell

I usually do not take the time to write reviews Today I am making an exception after spending three nights at this extablishment My wife and I have stayed in B & Bs all across the US

This ranks as one of the best The property is very special It is has been impeccably restored over 40+ years to its former self Located in Tucson’s historic district, it looks much as it did in the 1800s when it was built, but is totally modern in its conveniences Mrs Toci has spent a lifetime collecting just the right antiques for each room The court yard is charming and inviting Her breakfasts are the best we have experienced in our travels She is willing to accommodate any dietary requirement You will be sorry if you pass this place up on a trip to Tucson

This hotel is certainly top notch in customer service Ann at the front desk, the lady who services the breakfast and the female bartender in the evening were exceptional Everyone greeted us no matter who they were or what they were doing

The pool is large, the outdoor sitting area is fantastic and the view is incredible The suites are very adequate and clean They do allow pets The only bad experience we had was that a room a few doors down had 2 large dogs that howled all day while their owners were out of the room The restaurant has good food, large portions The free breakfast buffet has a huge selection We would stay again if in the area

Andra Pittman

Our stay was great! The suite was more than big enough We didn’t have too much interaction with housekeeping except for asking for towels, housekeeping is upon request but I can’t say enough about the front desk and the ppl that worked in the food area The restaurant area is great! Breakfast was as good as , if not better than most restaurants

Cooked to order eggs, pancakes, yum! It is free but I recommend tipping Everyone from the cooks, waitress and bartender share the tips and they completely earn those tips They also have a great happy hour from 5 to 7 that can be anything from bagged snacks to prepared in the kitchen small plates It was delicious and the bartender was great!

The ranch was exactly what our family had hoped for during our spring break The rides were great especially the fast rides We participated in all the horse activities, archery,

22 shooting, entertainment, and e-biking, which was actually very fun Makayla did a great job My older son enjoyed the basketball court , my in-laws enjoyed the hot tub, and my younger son and I enjoyed feeding and petting the horses during any down time We enjoyed every minute here! Customer service is excellent Special thanks to Kristy for picking us up at the airport after many delays and going out of her way to stop by the store for us and having the items waiting in the hacienda! We highly recommend this place!!! We will very much miss the horses especially the ones right out by our house! We stayed in the hacienda It was a lovely home with beautiful scenery from the front looking at the horses to the back by our own fire pit with the mountains in the background

We took a group of 11 people to the ranch for a work trip All of the staff were very accommodating Carol and Stefanie were awesome at arranging our group activities

Everyone had a blast We had a lot of beginner riders Some had never been on a horse before The wranglers were very patient and encouraging with us all The shooting range was well organized We Definitely recommend the White Stallion Ranch and hoping to bring our kids back for a vacation soon

El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton ResortHotelPLACE DETAILSa week agoBecause this “resort” didn’t send me a survey or request feedback about my stay like most Hilton’s do, I will post my review hereThe resort is beautiful and looks like a lovely place to relax Unfortunately for me, that wasn’t why I booked a four day stay there

Coming from Pittsburgh, PA and never being to AZ before made it difficult to decide where to stay I chose this hotel/resort becauseit was the closest place I could find to where I needed to be to tend to a family crisis I would’ve chosen elsewhere if I knew that there was no way to park closer to my room I wish this was indicated on your website or that someone in the Reservations Dpt warned me, Because I was in Tuscon to help clean out my family member’s house, I returned to the hotel each evening with several heavy bags and binsto sort through which forced me to rely on bellhops every time I was coming or going I waited up to 45 minutes for a bellhop on oneoccasion and then at least 30 minutes for all the other times I’m pretty sure there was only one bellhop available per shift and thatone bellhop always had the only cart with them so I couldn’t do it myself I must say that all my interactions with the bellhops were pleasant, and they all apologized when I told them how long I had been waiting Because the bellhops were the only highlight during my stay, I then had the unexpected task of making sure I had enough cash on hand to give them a well-deserved tip ($30 in $1 bills) I need to add that there was one front desk associate (Jolleane) who offered to walk me to my room as it was late at night, and she knew I had safety concerns This offer was greatly appreciated

This hotel has beautiful views but you certainly cannot credit the staff for that This is just a hotel that happens to have a nice viewThere are no microwaves, which is extremely inconvenient

If 2 star hotels have microwaves and a free breakfast, I would expect a 4 star hotel to have that as well It really deterred me from spending any money at their over priced restaurant since that is clearly the motive in having no microwaves Luckily there are nice restaurants close byThe hot tubs were not very hot Felt like bath waterRoom service was sub par, I had to ask for full sized towels because they forgot to give me some No real cleaning was done, just a quick towel and garbage grab and they were goneAlso, do not expect to do your laundry here They charge you per item, not per pound You’re better off driving 15 minutes to a laundromat and doing your own laundry for less than $3 (Opposed to $450 per shirt and over $8 per pant, etc)Overall it really seems like I should have gotten a lot more bang for my buck here

***EDITED*** The romance of the southwestern architecture, sitting room and beautiful desert landscapes brought us back for some local R&R I’ve stayed at the Arizona Inn over the last 15 years and little has changed

Maybe some modern interior design upgrades and implementation of local artist toiletries might spark the interest to return For now all I miss is the lovely dinner at the Audubon Restaurant experience we had

Super disappointed with how the Arizona Inn handled their guests who had events booked that were affected by Covid I had my wedding planned for the Spring and then rescheduled for Fall and the staff failed to contact me about cancelling the event BOTH times Instead, they called my wedding guests that had reserved stays to inform them that my wedding was cancelled and asked if they wanted to cancel their reservations as well

They also requested that the guests not tell ME about their reservations getting cancelled because the Inn wanted to contact me Shouldn’t you contact the person hosting the event BEFORE you call their guests? In any case, they NEVER CALLED ME I was under the impression was wedding was still going to be held during the Fall when I rescheduled it for Weeks leading up to the date, I called to confirm I was told that they were not holding any events until further notice No apologies from the staff or manager, Patrick, that I spoke with I lost many deposits on the vendors that I had booked because of their lack of communication and it was also a struggle to get our funds back that we had paid ahead of time for the entire wedding It seems they wanted to keep our money for a wedding they had no intention of holding? And they did not consider communication being essential during a time where they let go most of their staff? Needless to say, I have never been so angry with an organization before and their administration’s lack of empathy and action is appalling
