We loved our stay here! The park has a mix of concrete and gravel sites We stayed in site 68, concrete pull-through and very level It backed up to the Mississippi River so our view was gorgeous! It was a very peaceful stay and we enjoyed watching the barges go by

Staff was friendly and helpful We highly recommend Tom Sawyers RV park and will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area

Emily Kettle

We just returned from a trip and stayed here for 2 nights with myself, my husband and 2 teenagers and had the best time Yes, it was hot but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the fishing and the Mississippi River The park is very quiet and relaxing

We did use the bath house and it was good, nothing fancy but just what you need We will definitely be stopping here again!

Mimi’s Farm

We spent two nights here and had a wonderful spot right on the river, it was great as there was a grassy area right there for our dog to run and roam on a leash The site was nice and clean and big, it had a picnic tableThe park offers free laundry facilities which was a bonus and they were very clean as well

The only thing that we noticed on the last day was there was a very small tick on our screen door I found one on me later on( yikes) and one on my dog 😬 I made a preventative spray for the future from essential oils and will start eating more garlic Don’t want to mess with ticks

The whole experience was top-notch Check in was easy; I believe the younger lady checking us in was newer, but she was friendly and professional The room, common areas, and breakfast areas were clean

The outdoor pool was also clean and neatly landscaped Miss Angel took great pride in serving a fantastic breakfast and it was much more than the usual fare A number of hot dishes in addition to the usual oatmeal, waffles, and pastries As for the room, we like that the bathroom sinks and counters were actually in the bathroom, not visible to the room itself like some hotels have it Easy on and off for highway 55

Lavender Queen’s

I loved our experience here I was traveling from up North and really tired Thankfully, Jenn the manager was there

They worked to cancel my reservation that was over 5 hours away and accommodated us The room was clean and comfortable The breakfast was great and good people all day long I really enjoyed my stay here Hope to pass through again some day Thanks a bunch for all you did for us

MRS CYNTHIA A. THEDFORD

Overall four stars given for my second visit to this hotel because it only pertains to the breakfast I would recommend the hotel But not the breakfast

Personally everything tastes like it was microwaved and placed in a warmer And the food chews like plastic I tried 2 days in a row Everything was cold and rubbery Rooms were great Very little parking after 10pm Beautiful outdoor pool thoughIf I can remember correctly, all odd numbered rooms face the front of the property and the even numbers face the rear of the property which is just an open field of grass

I had the pleasure to stay here recently! I cannot thank the team enough for a terrific stay The apartment was really well designed with superb furniture, comfy beds and everything one could need, including very thick and high quality towels The location is really ideal and best of all was the heated pool and hot tub, which was indeed like a private paradise – perfect after a long winters day of work!

Kimberly Lewis

A great place to stay I’m coming back again! The place is kind of concealed, in a building ( As you don’t think much til you get inside)! Then, once inside the apartment, it’s beautiful! The apartment has a full kitchen, so you can cook food other than go out and spend money

The pool is enclosed around back and the water is really warm Along with the hot tub being hot !! Note, if you have 3 people, please bring sheets and blankets, and extra towels, as we didn’t specify 3 people, so we were short on these items The coffee is located in capsules, in freezer! But there were only 4 capsules, so if you are a big coffee drinker, bring your own coffee maker and coffee Free washer and dryer to use in the basement If you want to stay down in basement while your clothes are washing, bring your own chair!

Gia Rbk

Great location, really impossible to beat! The unit was extremely clean and nicely distributed Pool and hot tub was so nice after a warm day exploring the city The customer service were nice to use and helped us with all the information we needed as well, they answered promptly and the check in process was a breeze without the annoying process of the hotels, self-check in with a unique code, contactless and fast

We will be back soon!

Decor was awesome, I had the chance to see the lady adding new “street art” to the wall outside the building she did a wonderful job! Also the bed was comfortable, the shower was perfect I loved how the shower glass walls ( wasn’t see thru) was labeled with everything Memphis! In my opinion its better than The Peabody as I’ve stayed at both! The bed when u put your foot down the bottom lights come on, absolutely loved this feature ( I’ll be looking to add this to my bed at home), great stay, friendly staff, the bar and rooftop was great! Room was clean, loved my whole experience! Will definitely recommend and will stay again!

M S

Beautifully decorated rooms Amazing rooftop party experience and great local nightlife in the heart of downtownRoom could be sanitized better and I would recommend for furniture to be steam cleaned at each turn over due to having a stain on my couch at check-in

I celebrated my birthday last night and had expected to have a late check-out but management refused my request due to hotel being overbooked or filled to capacity which doesn’t allow the current guests to enjoy the full hospitality experience We’re basically being shoved out the door at 11am although rooms were not ready at the regular check-in time the day before at 3pmRoom service menu definitely needs an upgrade, but I’m sure they’re still working on it due to being a new hotel during the pandemicMy room has a large living space with work desk and large flat screen tv Amazing city and river views as well I love the contemporary and modern mix of furniture Very nice hotel but over time hopefully the service will improve

Stacie

This hotel is situated close enough to all of the action of Beale St, but yet far enough removed if you are seeking a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city The rooms are nicely appointed and spacious

All of the staff that I encountered even in passing were very friendly and offered suggestions on the best places to eat and visit Very enjoyable stay The lobby is a great place for people watching!

We had a great weeks stay at the Sheraton! The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfy The air conditioner worked fine The towels were soft

The TV was really big! The staff was very nice and helpful! We also ate at the restaurant and it was good and the servers were so nice!! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to be near the Cannon Center!

shari cunningham

What happened to this place? There is no security I did not have to use my room card for re-entry into the lobby in the middle of the night or in elevator There was no security in the lobby or anyone at the front desk

Anyone could come in and roam freely I was approached in the lobby by someone asking for money at about 5:00 am No hotel staff in sight, outside or inside My sink was clogged Large pieces of Bathtub enamel were chipped off Room wasn’t clean My pillows had obviously not been replaced in years nor had the badly worn bedspread Paper coffee cups are no longer protected in plastic wrap prior to use – so unsanitary The doors close incredibly loudly Ice machines not available on every floor It was an expensive stay and very disappointing Research carefully We wont be returning

Mia Owens

Two stars is honestly generous I was here for a volleyball tournament, as the Sheraton was connected to the venue which made it easy However that was about the only pro

First off, let’s discus our room (which was awful) There were holes and scuffs in the carpet, rips in the sheets, no luggage rack, and hair that wasn’t ours all over the shower/shower curtain The beds were small and the tv had no service on multiple channels The body wash in the shower was completely liquid and looked like it was just mixed with waterSecond, the restaurant (Crossroads) It was horrible We never ate there because the staff ignored us every time we wanted to be seated Mind you, we tried 6 times (in the span of 2 days) and not one was successful The staff would not look at us The worst part was when we ended our games late and the Crossroads was the only thing that was open and they would not sit us We then had to go drive around Memphis at 10:00 pm to try to find food (I also don’t recommend doing that Memphis is dangerous at night) Driving around wasn’t much better though, as the hotel has practically ZERO restaurants around it The only nice staff where those at the front desk, who proved to be very helpful in a couple situationsThird, the valet service Although helpful at times, having to ask for someone to get your car and then waiting 15 minutes is not convenient The only non-valet parking close to the Sheraton is at the church across the street, but that is $18 a day Not to mention you have to cross a busy roadFinally, I want to bring up the trolley I will admit this was nice The stop is right outside the front of the hotel on main street There are a couple different lines, and it was $1 per time you rode We used the trolley around 4 times over the 2 1/2 daysOverall I honestly would not recommend this hotel Sure it is convenient, but that’s about all it has going for it(I also forgot to mention that the pool was closed the entire time, but the gym was very nice)

This is an amazing hotel! My husband and I were very nervous to travel out of state and stay in a place we’ve never been before As soon as we arrived on 12/25/21 the front desk employee (didn’t catch his name) was so friendly and truly gave me the best customer service I have had in a LONG time! Our room was upgraded to a suite which was just an added bonus to an already great experience In the morning we had breakfast and coffee, which was great

At checkout the front desk employee made sure we had a great experience with our stay This hotel was clean and the bed was so comfortable! I highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay!

Apiseh Nchari

It’s at a great location, not far from the highway It has modern furnishes The host was polite, friendly and helpful

He made us feel welcome and right at home Our room was clean; clean bedding and towels Breakfast was delicious I gave 4 stars for service because 1 trash can was not emptied and there were no trash bags in the trash cans

Brandon Esquer

Our family was in town for a funeral We were all trying to stay together and there was a hotel mix up, late at night Devin was exceptional! He moved mountains and was able to make accommodations for us

I have never received such great service from a hotel Thank you, Devin, for being so great during our time of mourning You really did ease a lot of stress during our stay and we could not be more appreciative

We stayed for a couples getaway and Stacee was our hostess Stacee made us feel so welcome and gave us excellent dinner recommendations The breakfast is gourmet 👌! Each room is unique, expertly designed with top notch materials

Our room was the Harrison suite which had views on either side and a very comfy bathtub! It was so impressive to be met by our host upon our arrival at the property! Hands down, one for the books Excellent B&B experience!

c terry

Utterly perfect! We stayed at the James Lee after our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect Historic charm with updated amenities The breakfast was divine, the rooms gorgeous, and the beds heavenly

We really appreciated our host giving us a short tour explaining the history of the house Location adjacent to downtown Memphis was convenient and we appreciated the gated access to the parking lot as well

Lindsay Niebuhr

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Our room was sparkling clean and very comfortable The decor was so beautiful The house itself is gorgeous! It is truly a sight to behold

One of our favorite parts of the stay were the amazing breakfasts created by Stacee As a vegan, I could not believe the love and care that Stacee put into making the most delicious meals I have ever tasted The fact that she was so thoughtful about my needs was just so special My husband does not share the same dietary restrictions so his meals did include some dairy and meat (Which was also prepared perfectly!), but let me tell you…Every single dish we enjoyed was beautiful and scrumptious! She is beyond talented! The best part of our visit was getting to visit with Stacee She is so kind and caring She is also very knowledgeable about the Memphis area and can help to recommend things to see and do We loved every minute of our stay! We are so appreciative to Stacee for taking such great care of us and for making our time at the James Lee House unforgettable We highly recommend this incredible place!

Great Hotel! Very friendly staff! We found it last minute which was a blessing! My son loved the pool table & board games available to play! We did have a slight problem getting our door to shut which was only a problem when we left for dinner/movie If we were in the room we could just lock it with no problem Otherwise you had to slam it & make sure it shut/locked

The floors are wood/laminate tile which is nice however the noise for guests above is greater in my opinion If you need a good nights rest I’d suggest top floor!

FatherHog

I have had great experiences with Try Hotels This one has been less than It’s hard to describe

Where they are usually clean and polished, this one is a bit less so The hall carpets are not dirty, but look like they haven’t been vacuumed recently The bathroom floor is a bit slick like it has a soap film on it The front desk actually asked me why I was even in town, like they were surprised I chose to be here Spoke rather disparaging of the area and stated she would prefer to be somewhere else Very friendly person, but need to be less open on their own feelings about this place Overall a decent place to overnight Just needs more care in presentation

Aisha Shaharyar

This hotel is brand new , the manager came to ask pretty much everyone , how was their stay ? Personal approachThe only drawback is there is no microwave in the room Refrigerator doesn’t have freezer

however the display of the thermostat wasn’t showing screen correctly The pancake maker was awesome as it was completely automatic! We loved it

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and had an immaculate vibe About a 10 minute walk to Beale street, so it was easy to explore that area In the morning my boyfriend and I had breakfast at their cafe in the lobby and the French toast was incredible! We also had the egg salad sandwich and the avocado toast, both also very good

I would book again here in a heart beat!

What a fun different hotel in Memphis My wife can really pick them Old warehouse renovated in 2019 and they did a great job

Lobby is inviting with a nice bar and coffee bar If you like the loud bar scene a young folks bar is a stones throw awaySo staff are extremely nice a check in Rooms are old industrial look with nice use of exposed wiring with cool curves in conduit Pet friendlyLove the rooms Beds are wonderful and sheets and towels are plushLoved it

Dasha

Stayed there for 3 nights and it was a 100% positive experience The design of the place is an exquisite mix of vintage & loft style, the room looked very spacious though it was not large at all The room was serviced every day, the cleaning team did their job very well, so did the receptionists who were very helpful and friendly

The breakfast by Hustle & Dough was the best way to start a day, I already miss my avo toast and cappuccino The location is central, pretty short walk to famous Beale street and downtown A nice supermarket is just 10 min walk, and in addition there’s a trolley station right in front of the entrance door (make sure you check the trolley out, it’s an experience to remember:))) When planning your booking pay attention that this hotel is dog friendly, which may be inconvenient for people who have allergy

Room was nice Wasn’t what I expected as far as a safe, family, atmosphere Surely it’s great for the adventurous, young, single crowd

Elevator problems so had to walk stairs the floor 3 Area is super sketch I felt that I had to worry about safety outside the hotel Main mistake was just ignorance on my part Should have researched the hotel policies and area before booking I’m sure this place is enjoyed by a specific crowd Just not a 50 something Caucasian male with a 16 yo athlete passing through

Deatrice Snuggs-McCloud

Overall we enjoyed our stay this past weekend The location was perfect as we were attending a concert right across the street at FedEx Forum Beale Street is just a few footsteps away

The staff was also extremely nice and helpful Over the weekend there was only one elevator working I know sometimes things happen but that was extremely frustrating when there are several events going on at the Forum and the hotel is pretty booked Also the bathrooms could use some updating and the showers could be cleaned a little better Overall, I would stay again just because the location is PERFECT!

Janetta Brewster

2 women traveling for work and stayed here passing through Location was perfect ! Very clean ! And on a helpful note, the room needs a fridge a person can use not packed with costly items Shower doesn’t work for a short person trying to not get my hair wet

But the #1 thing that needs addressing is the staff need to wear uniforms ! Street clothes are very unprofessional at a nice hotel the valet guy looked like her was off the street taking my car But overall I would definitely stay again !

The rooms are clean and comfortable The hotel is a great location to all attractions like Beale St and directly across the street from The Peabody hotel The best asset this hotel has, is an employee named Cynthia

We checked in very late at night She welcomed us with a warm smile and energetic enthusiasm She was very Customer Service Oriented and made sure she took care of every one in my group She made us aware of the hotel amenities and their hours and was very generous with offering us tips about the city and the sights More importantly, she took care of her customers I had forgotten a bag at the check in desk and she immediately called my room I was going to return to get it and she would not have it! She had it sent up to me I called down a few times with some questions and every time I she addressed me by name and was very genuine If every hotel had a few Cynthias, there would never be any complaints about service Thank you Cynthia and Canopy Hilton for a wonderful stay

Reagan Jamell

Stayed with my husband and 2 young children The rooms are smaller than i am use to but haven’t stayed in a downtown area lately The layout made the smaller room very accommodating

2 queen beds, comfortable, a beverage fridge, good view of the Peabody The road was noisy while falling asleep The bathroom had good quality complimentary products I used each one instead of my own I was very happy with canopy

Bettina Woolbright

Great stay in downtown Memphis! We visited for the AAA baseball team and the hotel is right across the street Easy access to Beale street too Our rooms were clean, staff very accommodating and the bar/restaurant was very nice

Great newer hotel! The only downside was the valet parking, it was somewhat unorganized and could use some work Overall it was a very nice weekend in Memphis!

Right on the Mississippi The restaurants are terrific Brandy and Alexis at Tug’s are wonderful, and the bartender is cool (sorry I don’t know his name)Anastasia is great at Paulette’s, and so is the British young lady who helped us – sorry I do not have her name, but she is also attentive, polite, friendly, and very professional Alfred at the front desk will give you the shirt off his back—so don’t ask him for it!!

Raven Childers

The staff were absolutely wonderful They were very professional When you walk into the lobby it’s very well appointed and has beautiful fresh flowers and it’s candle lit with a very calming ambience

It has a wonderful little bar that serves some awesome drinks and as you check in or even arrive each evening or afternoon your offered a glass of wine The rooms are very well appointed with six huge pillows on a very comfortable bed The bathrobes were so soft along with the towels The sheets on the bed or Egyptian cotton There was a small writing desk that you could work on Along with a TV, mini fridge and a table for drinks The closet contained a safe The bathroom was up to date and had really nice products Everything was placed very conveniently There was even a handheld mirror Breakfast in the morning is also exceptional The menu is posted in the photos I will definitely be returning to this exquisite hotel that overlooks the Mississippi River

We had breakfast at the complicated pilgrim, it was tasty and our server Ashley was beyond amazing 😊The downside was the staff, which is terrible at such a new property We arrived around 3pm and our room was not ready, even with my Gold status which was odd but no problem we waited, and waited and waited The front desk staff did not ask to store luggage, nor did they care the gentleman working the front desk stated he just got there Around an hour later I walked in & asked again about our room, finally it was ready The waiting was not the problem it was more of the acknowledgment and lack of care All throughout our stay I felt like a bother and the service was mediocre at bestI had never stayed her before but didn’t tell us any hotel information, elevators, restaurant, etcHousekeeping only comes when requested, which is no issue

The design is fresh yet comfortable and the property is well located However, the concept is a bit ahead of its execution Staff were polite but only in a cursory way

No one acknowledged us any time we walked up to the front desk, until spoken to The in-room Lavazza machine made impressively good coffee but it took several tries to get the coffee pod refill for the second night of our two-night stay The cocktail bar and restaurant have a nice appearance and friendly service, but the food and drink quality should be stepped up to match the ambiance and price point

Bria Gillespie

This hotel is PHENOMENALThe rooms were huge and the shower was AMAZINGThe staff was great also and the view was perfect

This hotel is right in the middle of everything and only 8-12 minutes from downtown This place even has a roof too deck I will RECOMMEND this hotel to all of my clients

First we were greeted by a very cheerful desk clerk “Brenda” She helped us get the perfect room for 2 nights plus gave us a military discount Third day, we wanted to find something to do and Brenda highly recommended the zoo

She was very helpful with suggestions and directionsBeds were comfortable Pillows were a little too full of stuffing; we prefer a little flatterRoom was clean Good water pressure in showerBreakfast was good with lots of variety Eggs, waffles, yogurt, sausage, juice, etc No complaints at allHallways were cleanONLY negative comment would be floors inside and outside elevators needed attentionBut I would definitely recommend this hotel VERY NICE

Great location, modern style, no frills hotel Can order a beer while you check in or chill with friends in the lounge or on the expansive outdoor patio Rooms are minimalist style and very comfortable

Bed was super comfy Convenient and walkable to many downtown establishments Matt (front desk) was friendly and welcoming Enjoyed our visit and will return again

Caitlin Stauffer

More of a 45 / 5 experience Yes, the rooms are small and minimalistic, but there are hidden places to store things and a lot of hooks on which to hang things

The lobby and bar area is great; it’s kept clean and there are a lot of games and activities strewn about Valet was quick and parked just right out front of the hotelThe back entrance is right up next to the trolley line and is a great walking street as well Pretty easy access to touristy areas and a lot of restaurantsOverall I would definitely recommend this location and I would stay here again Perfect for a long weekend away

ND Seibel

Staff was excellent and deserve 5 stars: Matt, Kat, Jordan, Leah and Kevin were all professional, friendly and fun Great location Fun downtown vibe, you check in at the bar and they make good food and cocktails

Rooms are funky Scandinavian influenced with peg boards but not a whole lot of room to unpack or store clothing Lost star for design flaw in bathrooms: showers are spacious and cool design but water leaks out onto the floor and from the ceiling above you can tell its not just your bathroom Its clean, no mold but still Would definitely stay here again though Great lobby and bar atmosphere and cant say it enough that the staff were rock stars!!!

Our family came here for Mother’s Day weekend We had a great time and it was a very unique experience! The price is definitely on the higher end, so I wish breakfast was included and maybe some other amenities But we had fun with what was available

We didn’t leave the resort because downtown Memphis is a very dangerous and high crime area That’s a fact, just drive through and you’ll see But the resort room was so cool, the inside was amazing how you could look down into and up into the pyramid It was the coolest bass pro we’ve ever seen too The bowling alley and restaurants were great too We had an issue with our AC the first night to they upgraded our room and gave us a discount for that night All staff was too notch There are police and security on site at all times for resort safety We would stay again but not for a while due to the cost

It really is a great place to stay The room was very clean and the decor was rustic and charming We had an interior room that had a screened in balcony that allowed you to look down into Bass Pro Shop

You need to have a room key in order to get to the second or third floor which is nice because it keeps the traffic down to a minimum The one thing they could improve on is the bar they have on the 3rd floor They don’t have very many options as it is basically a dry bar All in all it was definitely a great experience and we would totally stay here again

Carrie Dela Cruz

A wonderful experience here, all employees were so welcoming, the definition of southern hospitality The room was amazing felt like being in a cabin Spending much of the evening on the balcony felt like we were outside without having to be outside with the mosquitoes

The Mississippi terrace was beautiful and relaxing to sit at and watch the sun go down The shower was wonderful and the linens were great quality not your standard over washed scratchy stuff you see in hotels Thanks for a great stay I hope to some day be back

The customer service was great! The night shift receptionist was very helpful and professional The room was clean The water was hot

I didn’t have or hear any disturbances during my stay The breakfast had a good variety The breakfast was also hot and fresh The only complaint is that I only got to stay for 1 night I definitely recommend this location!!!

Vickie Robben

Negatives: The room we had did not have any hot water in the shower or sink I called the front desk and reported that there was no hot water The guest service gentleman on duty said that I needed to turn the shower hot water on just short of full on, wait a few seconds and it would be hot

Tried that several times No hot water I notified him of the continued issue Asked if possibly a reduction in the room rate to compensate for no hot water He stated, he would talk to his manager and let me know No update from him In the morning we tried the hot water again No hot water At check out I notified the front desk lady to not rent that room out because of the water situation She apologized and asked if he offered to move me to another room Nope! No reduction on my room rate either2 Noisy road noise from the interstate Didn’t keep us up completely but was annoying We picked the location for easy on/off so that is partially our fault But recommend one ask for a room on the backside The gentleman at check in told me the king bed rooms were all on the frontPositive: The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well stocked with shampoo etcBreakfast was available and just averageWe use Holiday Inn Express 99% of the time Won’t let one bad apple spoil the bunchMy husband talked with another guest about the hot water and he said he stays at this location often and the water is an issueHopefully someone with interest or authority will fix that!

Everything was top notch Staff was attentive and very polite Rooms were cleaned well

I only had one complaint for our stay On both days, they ran out of a lot of things at breakfast Breakfast is served from 6 to 9 I recommend getting there by 730/745 for the best selection Today 7/14/22 we waited 35 minutes for the eggs to be refilled They ran out of yogurt, plain cream cheese, creamer, white bread for toast Yesterday was similar, bagels and white bread gone by 8 and not refilled Sweet rolls gone I know this sounds really specific but i wanted my review to be helpful This hotel was great I recommend it highly and will stay here again It’s a 49/5

Great hotel As a Memphis native who has lived out of town for 30+ years, I was looking forward to the stay to see what they had done with an old dilapidated train station Wow

They did an outstanding job of using the existing facility and updating it for use as a modern hotel with all of the amenities The area around the hotel is walkable, and the people are friendly There were a lot of panhandlers, one even made it inside the hotel to ask me for money If you are comfortable with that, you will love the area Close to The Civil Rights Museum, Beale St, and all of the downtown fun A nice Hilton renovation!

j clarke

This place has a really cool atmosphere about it The lobby bar has a DJ, no less Bishop is the on-site restaurant

They were a little understaffed so service at the bar was a bit slow The restaurant is French, fully equipped with escargot The parking lot for the hotel is difficult to access but a non factor once you figure it out However, the parking lot for the hotel is also the parking lot for the train station When the train comes the lot is extremely busy I might have given 5 stars but the water saving shower head put out the least water pressure I have ever encountered At some point this just isn’t acceptable

Samuel Adams

Bit of a hike, not so much the walk to Beale Street but the walk back after you’ve enjoyed a few hundred bucks of entertainment can be somewhat challengingThis hotel was awesome, old school feel of the old train station with multiple open levels, room service was nice and you were given $30/day of it with your room The pour over coffees will wake up a zombie into work mode

Walk into your room enjoying great blues playing on the speakers, tons of museums around to really get the vibe of the townParking was very accessible, check in was a breeze, and the surrounding area there were really great restaurants to enjoyI Am Man, great weekend to have in Memphis starts with this place Thanks for the experience, I would go back everytime I’m in Memphis
