This is by far the BEST Hilton property we have visited I worked in front office hospitality for 3 years and we lodge in hotels for my husbands work often so I am usually very picky…honestly I haven’t found a single thing to critique about this property!Niki and Leo from breakfast are so delightful My two year old daughter especially loves the extra attention “Miss Niki” shows her in delivering her breakfast with love

Niki also is so friendly to every guest that comes down I never see anyone leave with a frown She has a super power of de-escalating grumpy guestsIsrael’s breakfast is on point, he makes everything fresh and as you order so everything turns out perfect every timeEveryone from the front office has also been so helpful with anything we need help with Greg has been super helpful to create an efficient check-in and helps us with securing a parking spot to charge our carCleaning staff has been on top of everything, they keep all common areas so clean and fresh I was super impressed to see that when they mop the floors, they have a second person come by to dry so no slippery floor!Great job to the hiring management for staffing this hotel Seriously, this property should be used as an example to other properties that are opening

Hotel was pretty good Room was standard, felt a bit aged and non-updated It was quite annoying that the restaurant wasn’t open since it stated that the hotel had an on-site restaurant when I booked it, with no mention of it being closed, and no other option close enough to walk to

The breakfast was good, except I felt like I over paid by booking a room with breakfast included as I only ate from the cold buffet, which was ~$6 a day If you’re more of a hot food (ie omelettes, pancakes, waffles, etc) breakfast person, it’s probably a good deal, as that was $14 a day if I remember correctlyOverall it was a good stay

Very pleased with my stay here March 14-15th Hotel lobby and rooms were clean and inviting Rooms have great wifi and ethernet hookups, which was convenient for both personal and business use

Staff here is excellent! They were very accommodating in the lobby area while we had a small gathering during our stay Can’t speak highly enough of the service received from the dinner/bar staff during both breakfast and dinner hours Front desk staff was also friendly and informative regarding any questions that I had during my stay I was slightly disappointed to see the pool and hot tub closed during this time for cleaning, but glad to see it was being done, and felt no inconvenience as staff had already made arrangements for guests to use these facilities at a separate hotel adjacent to the parking lot 5/5 will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the area

Thumbs up to “General Manager” Rakesh Patel He made sure I had the best service I could ever ask for staying at that hotel He helped make my stay very good while I was there

Plus everything was clean when I checked into my room Patel recommended places to eat, transportation to take, and helped me when I decided to extend my stay His knowledge of the area is impressive An besides my room being clean I had a microwave & mini refrigerator for my use The only problem I had there was the plumbing When I was just taking a whiz it was all good, however when I had to drop more than that the toilet was responding very slow after that You definitely have to wait for the water to settle before you can use it again An it took time, there maintenance needs to increase the water pressure Other than that I liked my stay there

If you need a room in the area, it is the best option overall for location + priceIt is clean, staff polite and courteous, comfortable and the #1 suggestion I give guests who visit, but require their own spaceIt is not hit or miss They are consistent

Happy Camper

I am not going back to this place I have been here 3 times They don’t change their beddings , they just make beds

First night, I slept on top of the covers, they had yellow stains on the between the sheets On my second visit, the room seemed clean On the third visit, the duvet cover had blood stains or something like itBed sheets were wrinkled indicating they were slept in and there was napkin behind the nightstand Hire a house Keeping manager with 20/20 vision to walk through the rooms Extremely disgusting!

The hotel itself is great! Everyone at the front desk was really nice! The only complaint we had was that the shuttle driver was not a great driver at all- he drove real slow, changed lanes recklessly, cared more about the radio station rather than getting all of us back to the hotel When he came back to pick us up from the wedding venue (which he was very late), he told us all that he hated us and then said he was kidding, but it wasn’t professional to say anywayAgain, the hotel was great! Comfortable beds, complimentary breakfast and kind staff

I would just avoid the shuttle if possible

ZERO STARS! Both pillows had BLOOD 🩸🩸🩸 on them! We’re not talking about hair on towels We’re talking about biohazard ☣️☣️☣️☣️☣️ Human pathogen! This is beyond unacceptable, even in “normal” times, let alone during a pandemic

I told the front desk and the lady didn’t care She said what do you want me to do about it, I don’t have another room! I had to sleep in my car and they wouldn’t refund anything NEVER STAY HERE!!! 🛑

If I could give Four Points by Sheraton, Buffalo Grove, less than zero stars I would! It doesn’t even deserve half of a star!We were a big group We were there for a family event We reserved 14 roomsWe arrived at night and the lady at the front desk was annoyed, as she clearly stated herself, that she had to check in a big group

She was rude and refused to help us with anything nor answer any our questions as we inquired about the rooms 5 of the rooms were infested with bugs such as ants and spiders The bugs were on the bed, walls, and carpet, even under the bed sheets When we told the lady at the front desk, she said there’s nothing she could do about it and gave us the option to leave the hotel which we did We went to another hotel but returned the next day to join our group and we asked to speak to a manager who was very nice He offered us a free breakfast but by the time we got to breakfast, they told us it was done I would never recommend this hotel to anyone If you end up staying at this hotel for any reason, check the room thoroughly, as it may look clean but… You might find a few surprises!

NG

Location/price: Close to everything you could need and for a reasonable price I really wish breakfast was included cuz it’s dang goodRoom: channel list would be helpful as there is not a guide, at least not on mine Bad water pressure in shower and they don’t provide body wash anymore so bring your own

The curtain had to be straightened by me as it wasn’t on the trackService: They talked on the phone with a co-worker for almost 10 minutes instead of just helping quickly They didn’t set up the key cards correctly so I had to go all the way back down with all my luggage

Dimitri Fostinis

Okay I check in and the upgrade me to a “delux too “ upon arrival I walk in, boom dead cockroach on the bathroom floor On top of that, the toilet paper was almost finished

Did they even clean the “delux room”?? Probable not The pool area also had roaches and other unidentifiable bugs Our normal room we got moved to was okay, but the ONLY DAY they do house keeping after we requested it, they did a terrible job Garbage on the bathroom floor was just pushed to another side not even cleaned This hotel is gross and a sad excuse for a Marriott Very disappointed

Went to check in on 7/14 and upon arrival the front desk person was outside as I was walking in He asked “are you checking in” and I said “yes” He said “well let me see if your room is ready because it might not be”

The time was later than 130pm My train was very late getting in After looking at a monitor for 2 seconds he said “your rooms not ready” He didn’t call the cleaning ladies to find out how long it would be and just said come back at 3pm which I understand is check in time I explained to him that I am a diamond elite member and I requested a 2pm check out He said he could do 1pm and would have to see how the reservations worked out and let me know I again explained to him that I am a diamond elite member which means I stay at IHG Properties a lot He did not care and honestly his customer service skills were off right from seeing him at the door Like I said, I’ve stayed at numerous IHG properties and I’m always greeted with a good evening or good morning, once they check me in they thank me for being a diamond elite member and remind me of points that I would get, sometimes even a bottle of water I walked past that lobby to go out at least 6 times and not a person at that desk opened their mouth to say anything Only the breakfast lady spoke When I checked out the same guy was at the desk and when I put my keys in the return he didn’t say “thank your for your stay or have a good day” and I checked out today With that being said the conditions of the rooms were very dated, patched up holes in the walls, chipped paint and the sofa bed look like it was picked up off a street corner Definitely will not stay at this holiday inn express again

That Girl

Good location, in hotel row near a few decent places to eat or Walmart walkable

Affordable rates, indoor pool, decent breakfast Bedding linens a bit dingy and tattered That old synthetic cheap kind that cling to you when u sleep… owner should upgrade, they are horrible to sleep under But staff was friendly, all in all a pleasant stay

Mo Lawal

This was by far my worst experience in ANY hotel ever! Check-in was horrible: received key cards to room that was broken The cleaning ladies were VERY helpful in getting us situated I honestly will never book her even for free

I understand it’s hard to deal with the public but you get paid to do a job I also found ants in our room I was so disgusted with my initial service I refused to bring the problem up to the front desk and went to the local store and bought some insects killer Outside of having a great location this was definitely not the best of what Holiday Inn should be

Staff was friendly, location was great, room was clean but only small complaints The room had a odor, like a moldy odor, I went to Walgreens nearby to get a candle because the odor was not pleasant One more thing was the bugs, there’s insects and bugs coming out of the heat and AC vents so I didn’t turn it on because I didn’t want to get a room full of insects

If These things improved or someone sealed the vents and cleaned out the vents, made improvements to the smell, this hotel would be great! Thank you!

It’s about a 20 min drive to Navy Boot Camp graduation If you go the opposite way, there’s a nice outdoor mall also about 20 min away The Walgreens just a few steps away was great as well as the breakfast offered

They do have a bus that takes you to the entrance for graduation From the gates to the ceremony hall it was about a 10 min walkJust ask to have your name added to the list Spent 2 nights Would recommend except our first night the iron burned my brothers pants Woke up to check out and found 2 bed bugs under the sheets and another 2 on the comforter

Arrived at the hotel in Libertyville on Thursday afternoon and needed to change the bed requestfor my room due to recent changes in travel The staff were pleasant and quick to accommodate Room was clean and plenty of towels and washcloths

We went to the pool and the water and areas were clean (and they brought us towels) Breakfast was served daily with eggs (scrambled or cheese omlette), bacon, sausage, hashbrown potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, pastries, assorted juices and coffee All was delicious They have a small store for snacks and beverages next to front deskClose to Starbucks, pub and other shops Not far from Navy graduation Highly recommend

Standout staff Accommodating and truly kind Rooms were fine, although both rooms I stayed in had issues with shower temp and water pressure, and multiple common areas like the bar and restaurant were under renovation

They did their best Overall this is an outstanding property under renovation to keep up the standard of service you expect from their brand A great place to stay The attached Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is a game changer

I’ve been to at least 10 Renaissance hotels around the world, and this is easily the worst Renaissance hotel I’ve lived at The service was terrible There was no hairdryer when we checked in, and when I tried to call the front desk, nobody answered, so I had to come to the reception

Also, they weren’t able to provide any slippersThe buildings are quite old, and due to renovation, only half the amenities are open Sound insulation is terrible We were hearing constant door slamming and children screaming, despite us staying in a CORNER ROOM! We got woken up before 7AM on both days we stayed there The shower has very low water pressure, and it takes half an hour to do a “quick” shower There’s also no access control for the elevators, which means non hotel guests can get to any floor they want Fortunately, this neighborhood is relatively safe, so this won’t pose too much of a security riskThe only upside is the price We booked two nights for $135/night, after taxes and fees, which is a good deal for the Chicago area around the memorial weekend However, with the problems mentioned above, this hotel isn’t worth the price

Laura Thompson

CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFT: We stayed here for a wedding and the room was very nice and clean However, our car, parked in the hotel lot had its catalytic converter stolen overnight Unfortunately, there are no cameras on the parking lots so the police couldn’t do anything

The GM returned my voicemail and did comp our room which was very appreciated (but not much to offset the cost of a new catalytic converter) The theft of catalytic converters is not unique to this hotel, but its proximity to 94 definitely makes it a target I personally feel like putting in cameras is an important step the hotel should take A Marriott should provide some level of security I’m a student and this financial loss is not easily absorbed Just be aware!

I cannot say enough great things about this place My house had a carbon monoxide issue in the middle of the night that required us to vacate Not only did this hotel take us at 3 AM but they set up the pack n play in my room for my 1 year old daughter so I could get her back to sleep quickly

Loved the room- perfect for traveling with kids (separate door for after the baby went to sleep) AND our dog! Thank you so much for keeping us safe!

Bradley Stratz

Nice little place away from home Only issue that I had Told the service desk that I will have a late checkout

As I work nights and sleep through the day While I was sleeping I put the “do not disturb” sign up on the outside door As well as locked both the door handle and door stopper on the pillar The house keeping consistently ignored the sign and tried multiple times to get into my room while I was sleepingi was not able to get a good sleep They need to train their staff or communicate with their staff appropriately

Doesn’t even deserve the star nor my hard earned money My whole entire stay was nothing but harassment and disgust by management Never once we my room cleaned by housekeeping even when I asked them for it but still never did it the once a wk that they told me I needed to request for

I had to change my own lines and towels and kitchen stuff I also had to wash the stuff because I wasn’t always given the stuff Tried to get my money back from the bank they said I had to go through them Their customer service line isn’t helpful either They didn’t need to talk to management about my claim and they could’ve given me back my money because of the disrespect and disgusting service that I received there I feel bad for the front desk ladies that they have to deal with horrible managers They should never had gotten my money I should’ve gone and stayed at Extended Stay where they have bigger rooms and better kitchens and better service

We had the honor of planning our wedding and reception at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort What a beautiful venue and location, and the amenities offered are just so wonderful too! Our wedding had been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/had been Kassandra, the general manager, and Christine, our wedding specialist, were so accommodating and generous with their time and resources

There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort Team I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event! Special shout out goes to Christine, she is literally one of the best human beings out there She was so gracious, kind and honest which is exactly what we neededLincolnshire Marriott, thank you for helping us out when this crazy season and circumstances has hit us all!

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful I had a room option that gave me an upgraded room since I had my wife, our son, two dogs, and myself We were up for the renaissance fair that was going on in Wisconsin

I was offered a room on the first floor with a patio which helped significantly with the dogs I really appreciate the offer, but was not informed that it was going to be smaller than the bigger room i was upgraded to As an individual who travels and stays with Marriott almost every week, i was a little disappointed in the M Club You are told that when you arrive that it will not be operating to full capacity as it would be during the week Also when we informed the front desk about there not being water, they said they would not be restocking it because it was not operating at full capacity Even the other refreshments such in the refrigerators were not stocked and maintained I have stayed at other Marriott’s with M clubs stock constantly and way better than this one was

M 1

I booked a stay in advance with a group rate for a large event that was taking place on site As I was preparing for the event I checked for my confirmation and found that I no longer had it in my email, my fault for not printing it out I contacted the resort to confirm and found they did not have a reservation in my name

I talked with multiple people both at the resort and with Marriott All were happy to book a room for $499 per night vs the original rate of $159 and would not budge on honoring the original rate It was also suggested by multiple people that if the group were to add an additional block of rooms for the event they could then honor the $159 rate While talking with the sales department at the resort about the group, the reservation and honoring the rate I was told the the resort was sold out for my dates and they would be unable to help me any further So in a matter of 30 minutes they went from having enough rooms to add to the group block to being completely sold out I also find it odd that after getting off the phone there were still many rooms available on any number of web sites

Then when I arrived, they were very attentive Second, my room was ready, very clean and comfortable Third, the rate was reasonable Fourth, great location in relation to O’Hare airport Hope to stay here the next time I’m in the area

No microwave in the room The bathroom was still dirty Someone used it didn’t flush the toilet My key didn’t work to my room we tried 3 times before she gave me another key When I told her about the ants she said well it’s ants everywhere I’m sure the purpose of saying that

Came into town for my sons PIR Check in process was very simple I even needed to make reservation changes during my stay because my son was getting weekend overnight liberty and we wanted to split time in the city

They waived fees and helped us with dinning options Our room was great, clean, and we loved having a full fridge, stove, and dishes to eat and hang out with family and our SR comfortably My son has A school here so we will be back to see him again and will certainly be staying here!!! Thanks for everything to the GM and Chad for all your help

Thomas Barntsen

Pros: Room was a suite with kitchenette for under $70, so it was a pretty good value It was reasonably clean, and the bed was comfortableThe breakfast was decent – all individually wrapped packaged food, like breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal

Cons: there were a couple broken alcohol bottles on the sidewalk between buildings My room also had very little soundproofing from outside noise, and the furnace was very loud, kicking on every fifteen minutes or so

Christine Canty

**update** After staying at this hotel for 22 nights (checking in and out over several weeks,) I will not earn any points or upgraded member perks, because I booked through United which was still cheaper than booking through the members website that has a discountFor work, I have stayed at several different hotels in the area I prefer this one, because this is an extended stay suite where you have a full refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, dishwasher, and kitchen with dishes

I have not had time to use the amenities Pets are accepted The rooms are not very sound proof The person on 2nd/3rd shift is super friendly and easy to talk with

I would have given 5 stars for room, but I must be honest about some finishes in the bathroom A little tired, but overall, such a pleasant stay and worth the extra to stay The evening reception was laid back and had a terrific bartender

The other bartender in the restaurant was also fantastic, giving us a tip in a local Chicago style pizza place The breakfast was superb, and the made to order omelettes along with the service everywhere were unmatched! Great job in staffing and keeping up with the needs of your customers

I was pretty excited to see a quiet place It has amazing indoor view I enjoyed breakfast: it has various options

Staff was friendly Erving time snack was a good option Little issue with room and restroom plumbing but overall I have a great leisure trip with my family It was quite and adequate during night time Elevator has secure operating option I recommend it for family and friends

Nice hotel and good location Quiet area, and friendly staff Family friendly hotel, free breakfast omelet made to order, free drinks during happy hour! Pool is okay, but can be busy, which makes it difficult to swim or play, wish it was bigger for such a large hotel! Walls are thin in the suites, living area, no door sweeper, and you can hear basically anyone walking by the hall

Overall good experience and for the deal we received it was great Spacious living space and bedroom (2 queen beds, two TV, a couch and desk/chair and single swivel sofa chair, wet bar sink and microwave/fridge/coffee keurig, plenty of drawers for clothes)

This review is based on my experience staying one time, for two nightsWe enjoyed our stay We love that it’s pet friendly The bed was comfortable

The breakfast was just okay The staff was very nice We would/will stay there againThe sofa was a bit worn and uncomfortable to sit on A fridge was placed in the closet that used to have a door The click and lock flooring is very cheap, but maybe by design since they allow pets

The staff is really nice, the lobby has plenty of space for hanging out with friends The breakfast shop offerings are affordable and look great The only big problem I have is with how little sound proofing the rooms have

For the whole night I was listening to bathroom flushes in the adjacent rooms And starting from about 6am I started hearing banging of doors because of how the room doors are designed to slam, very loudly, especially through thin walls Then the vaccuming in the hallway started around 7am I get it, it’s not a 5-star luxury hotel, but I think some little things can improve to make the stay more enjoyable

The staff was nice, but I cannot say the same about our stay We had adjoining rooms and both were horrible!! Mold was in the ceilings and there was a stench of sewage The couches were soiled, food was on the wall, and the headboards, bed skirts and sheets were all dirty

The sinks were slow to drain, feces was on the toilet and the shower doors would not stay closedAnts were crawling between our beds, on the bathroom walls and floors, which were also spacing Housekeeping did not change our linen while we were away, as requested, and because of the issues we kept encountering, they switched our room 3 times My children and I were very displeased by the upkeep of this hotel property and opted to end our getaway However, there is a $50 early departure fee, totaling $100 for both rooms As for customer service: After submitting a complaint and photos of our stay, a representative’s email stated it was “hard to get in touch with me due the time difference” No one has followed up with me since

This specific hotel itself was great Stuff happens and things break My room was almost $250 for my kids and I

This was supposed to be a special experience and memory for them as it was their first competition They are young Didn’t need to purchase a hotel room we don’t live that far but wanted them to be well rested Both AC units could not keep up with the room It happens I didn’t make a big deal about it because I work outside for the most part all year round Was still trying to make it a positive, memorable experience for my two Littles Maintenance couldn’t come till 9pm The room on both sides were close to 80 Staff and management were kind, respectful, and did what they can Hilton however, their customer service was incompetent, unprofessional, and wasted my time The hotel itself has no way to help in this situation after you leave because the advance payment was through Hilton DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE OR THROUGH HILTON Pay Doubletree if possible

Sandra Revnell

The room was on the small side but clean Generally speaking, the décor of the hotel is both drab and dated The hotel appeared short-staffed, with only one person attending the front desk

As a result, all attempts to call the front desk were in vain – they went unanswered If you need to stay here, use the app and digital key to check-in — you will wait at the front desk for far too long to get a room key

The room is clean and the service is more than expected The room is ample and everything is very clean and comfortable Our view is beautifulAlso the restaurant downstairs is really tasty and not too pricey The service there is lovelyThere is a Starbucks here which does make things convenient, and parking is easy with more than enough room for customers and any visiting guests

Loved it We came to Navy graduation, and this hotel is just close enough, without being stuck in the city Awesome staff, quick check in, great rooms with very good matresses

Everything super clean! We did come during some type of competition for cheerleading, so hotel was super busy at the lobby, but the staff still made time and helped us Super awesome crew!

marina bograd

The staff was great and space was plentifulAnd that’s itCleanliness was an issue The hotel appears worn out and neglected

Wall paper is peeling off the walls Glass doors and window appear like they haven’t been washed on weeks and floors were sticky (including the rug in the room)The space has potential to become an amazing venue Hope someone notices
