When the dump across the street (the quality inn, not that actual landfill) wasn’t what they advertised, we bailed and came over here Staff was great Rooms were great

Coffee was hot and pool was enjoyed by the kids! Complimentary shuttle until midnight a nice touch for casino visitors i’m sure, though we didn’t need it Overall this place is as consistent as any Hampton Inn out there If you aren’t up for staying at the Casino, this should be your place

I am unable to give any stars for this review We arrived here at this hotel yesterday only to find out that the room where it was $300 for “Dart”competition Not what I was quoted

That was the first thing We Would have left but we were on the road all day from Boston and just couldn’t drive any longer Second, out keys did not work for me and my wife Neither of us cannot get around very well had to stand in the hallway while my grandson went to the front desk’s My grandson said the pool with so cloudy that you could not see the bottom and there was a huge spackled hole in the ceiling, Also, As I type this I’m looking out my window and a gigantic dump I guess it’s known as the biggest dump in Western NY, literally To top it off,I saw a bug on my pillow 5 seconds before writing this Don’t stay here The Hiltons have the same class as the dump across the street

Price charged was more than &100 more than the price at which I reserved It took hours waiting for a manager every day through the weekend They did not know what rooms people were registered

We were locked out of our room 1 day because they had no record of our room number and said we had not checked in We were not the only onesThe room we paid for was not available (not cleaned), so we were put in a room that was not nearly as nice, looked disheveled like someone had been sitting on the bed, and there was a dead bug on the bed It took 45 minutes to get the appropriate room cleaned which was nicer, but had potato chips in the AC The other room had M&Ms & balled up tissues behind the night table The light was broken so there was no light when you walked into the room The soap and conditioner was emptyAt breakfast, the employee was running around trying to get everything done, but having trouble keeping up He was very nice and helpful, and immediately got the missing items, but everything was empty at some point except the trash bins which were overflowing Also, the Pancake warmer broken There needs to be at least 2 people at breakfastThe toilet in the public hallway lobby was cloggedMost if the staff was very polite and tried to help but the problems just kept coming

Great location, however the hotel needs work Upon arrival the garbage was overflowing outside the main door Room was ready upon arrival, once in room it had zero towels and zero toilet paper in the bathroom

Trying to get supplies was difficult The rooms are showing age and need to be repaired The bathroom tile was missing grout around the tiles and the furniture was pretty worn For spending over $700 on two rooms for one night and it wasn’t anything to speak of We could have stayed at the Lake House for just a bit more money if we knew how disappointing this would be

So my husband surprised me with a night away to watch fire works We arrived at 3:05 given a key to a 3rd floor room opened the door and it was not fished being cleaned and no maid around Was told it would be 35 mins we agreed

15 min later give a key to another room that was said to be ready and there was garbage all over dirty sheets and bathroom was not cleaned At this point we are now upset Went back to front desk and where the female manager said we had to many demands and was very rude when all we wanted was our original room finished being cleaned The 3rd and final room was now second floor and looked clean for the most part but it had no towels, and the sample soaps and mouth was the seals were broken I was so unsettled that I didn’t fall asleep and my pillow smelled like perfume so I don’t think the sheets were clean Don’t use them The pictures I post are from the second room that was told to us that was cleanNo one apologized, no one tried to fix the issue instead they turned it around that we wanted to much No I wanted and was willing to wait for the room we paid for Until we wasted 2 hours walking about a hotel and just wanted to change to go to dinner I have never been treated with the lack of respect for their screw up If check in is at 3 why is there a hall way with piles of dirty sheets in the hall and no maid cart and the rooms we were give were not finished or not even started?? But that’s my fault? Cause you want a clean room you paid a good price for Would you go have a surgery if the operating room was filthy and not sterile??

Had a very nice experience here! The king suite we had was spacious and clean Plentyof parking The staff is what knocks this place out of the park — Cathy at the concierge desk was so friendly and the staff at the breakfast area were very accommodating

Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Rochester

We recently stay for an extended birthday weekend at this charming and romantic Victorian B and B Our host, Bob and Faye made sure everything was just right for us We felt right at home from the moment we arrive until we left

Our candlelit 3 course breakfast each morning was delicious and top notch! You definitely will not walk away hungry!! In the hallway near our room every day was fresh baked goodies along with coffee, tea hot chocolate, soda and water Room was spacious and clean I truly can’t wait to go back to our “ home away from home”! If you are in the area or just passing through, this is a place I highly recommend for you to stay at! We look forward to staying there again and again!Liana & Harold

We stayed here last weekend and it was so lovely The grounds were beautiful, lots of tables and gardens to enjoy and relax The house was located close enough to the center of Canandaigua for when wanting to take part in town activities or go to restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere

Our room was cozy – a super comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with jacuzzi We were most impressed with the little details – anything you needed was available in the room, or in the hallway (water, fridge, fresh baked cookies, additional coffee) And the gourmet breakfast was delicious Bob and Faye are a great team, and it’s a very special place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovingly restored, and gracious Victorian mansion The house has seen many changes in its life, as recorded interestingly in a photo album in the living room There were so many thoughtful touches for guests

‘any time’ upstairs coffees and teas with home made cookies, a basket of toiletries in case you forgot something, early morning coffee in the living room, and a basket of candies in our bedroom Our host and hostess were warm and welcoming, and served us a magnificent 3 course breakfast ranging from a fruit platter through steel cut oats to a fully risen egg and cheese souffle The bed was also very comfortable, and the bathroom had every luxury imaginable I had to ask our hostess for the name of the dispensable bath soapit smelled so good! Soif you feel you need spoiling for a night, this is the place!

The Yorkshire Inn was a great place to stay in every way It was easy to book on-line, the descriptions of the rooms are accurate and honest We actually did end up making a change in the room we wanted, Micah (owner) handled the change personally

The room we stayed in (The Lodge) was better than we had even expected Very comfortable and inviting We had two mornings of breakfast at the Inn Both were way above and beyond excellent The attention to detail and professionalism that Micah and Darcy exhibit is exceptional Book with confidence!

We had an amazing experience here July of 2021

hosts were wonderful and we were able to socially distance and felt safe the entire trip Having multiple wings was awesomeDaily breakfasts and coffee were delicious, and the rooms were quiet and spotlessIts tough to travel with a bunch of kids and the Yorkshire Inn really took the stress out of itThe kids really loved playing with the dog too! 10/10 would recommend

After a long day of driving, it was nice to arrive at the Yorkshire Inn Everything felt homey and relaxing, not like our usual cookie cutter hotel stays Our room and beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly

Breakfast was fantastic Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious and the service was spot on Again, far superior to what we’re used to from a chain hotel We enjoyed playing with the family dog, our kids especially Yet another great experience you don’t get at a standard hotel Overall a wonderful, memorable experience I wish we were in town longer, but maybe some other time If we find ourselves in the area, we would definitely love to stay here again Very affordable, very nice accomodations, great food and drink, very friendly hosts Thank you Micah and Darcy (and Cooper) for being part of our ’22 summer vacation
