Currently staying at the Hyatt Place as a Globalist and wanted to share about my experience hereThe hotel location is amazing right near the airport You can literally walk from the terminal to the hotel in about 5 minutes or less

I landed about 11:30 which is early for check in which only starts at 3 I figured I will try my luck to check in and unfortunately all rooms were still occupied or being cleaned As a globalist, they did offer me to take any single snack/food item and any single drink to have till my room is ready Room was ready about 1Was given a high floor room with views of the airport runway (at least half of one of them)Room is comfortable and service is friendly at the front deskBreakfast I wish was improved to include some vegan or vegetarian options This morning the only hot foods were bacon, eggs and toast So toast was the only option for someone who is vegetarianAll in all nice option for staying near the airport

Front desk manager was outstanding Very welcoming That’s where the positive ends for me

For a Hyatt brand and an airport hotel, I was expecting more My room was dated: TV not working (since I was on a business trip, didn’t bother me much); to close or open the room door was like lifting heavy weights at the gym; AC unit very noisy; a loud annoying dripping noise can keep you awake at night if you’re not a heavy sleeper; and some more details that I won’t bother mentioned Bottom line, this specific hotel will not be my first choice next time

2 stars ONLY because of the friendly staff Room was a disaster All the floor boards were caked with dust

Floor Corners of the room were also caked with dust Room had 2 hand towels but no bath towels Try drying yourself with a hand towel Not fun Extra pillow set in the closet for the pull out bed was missing sheets, blankets And pillow case Tried to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work Given the price we paid, we really expected a 5 star experience Bookingscom ratings seem to have given us a false perception of this hotel Ive had better rooms from motel 8 and best western Hyatt has always been my go to because of the discount I get from my job But even with the discount, it’s still pricey This ordeal has cause me to look elsewhere for a good room So far, I’ve been extremely impressed with Hyatt’s competitors

Brian (BriGuy71)

The hotel location was great The check in was great I was there for 7 nights

My issues started with the AC For some reason the unit would not turn on unless I put it extremely low I was either very cold or very hot When I asked the front desk they simply came into the room and moved the thermostat down until it turned on Not really the solutionThe second issue is they informed me a couple days into my stay that the water was going to be turned off for a few hours to test the water sprinkler system My issue was it was off all day and I was working from the hotel room You don’t realize how much you need running water when you’re in the same space all day When I asked at 5:30 pm when it would be turned on the front desk said they weren’t sureMy third issue is a common one now I was told no room service for 7 days and let them know if I needed anything If you know someone is staying 7 nights and you’re not going to service the room why not put a few extra soaps I ran out on day 3 and had to go to the front desk for soap Hopefully once everything starts working again we can have daily room serviceThanks for the time and hope this review was helpful Only a few tweaks needing to be done to make this a 5 star stay I just wonder; do they really want to make this a 5 star stay? Hum…

The stay was good, but not quite what I was expecting I chose this hotel for a brief stay because it states it has a restaurant and a bar That’s not accurate

They have a Starbucks counter which includes options for eggs or french toast which they make on premises; but it’s only open in the mornings There isn’t actually a restaurant They have a few bottles of beer lined up on the Starbucks shelf, but unless you’re looking for a mid-morning beer, there isn’t a “bar” There isn’t even an afternoon coffee option, since the Starbucks closes after breakfastThe hotel was reasonably clean, staff were friendly Area seemed safeThey don’t tidy the room and make the beds during the stay, which may be a covid holdover

We had not planned on staying in Pensacola but got stuck in a dead stop on i10 for nearly 3 hours due to an accident on the freeway! Jake at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind! He also gave an excellent recommendation for dinner at Bubbas33 and a 10% coupon! Hotel was very clean and the room was wonderful! Got a great night’s sleep!

I did thoroughly enjoy my stay at this hotel It is conveniently located to I-10 and I-110 I am extremely finicky about hotel deodorizers and odors

I have OCD so this is a hard “thumbs up” in my book and they got it! The beds are extremely comfortable The room had plenty of luggage, clothes, and traveling items The kitchenette has all the necessities accounted forThe hot breakfast was tasty Had a good variety, for even the fussy eatersThe hotel is also convenient to the interstatesI do not write many google reviews, so hope this helps some of you out there!

First time at Adventures Unlimited and it was great Such nice folks from entering the office to the guides that took us zipping Make note

it was me, Step-dad and Mom whose 79 with beginning stages of dementia She did great but she was slow on processing info, slow to do stuff period and kept having problems with how to brake herself on the zip But, Erin and Gab were patient, kind, encouraging, and greatly accommodating They were the best and so was the zipping My only regret was that the train car was already booked for a sleep over in the encampment

April Hillman

We floated the river for a friends birthday and it was such a beautiful experience The staff here are amazing, very kind and helpful!Make sure to rent a cooler tube if you’re floating Bring snacks, water, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, and a dry bag for your stuff

There’s lots of spots to pull off to eat and relax in the sun

harley swamprat

We had arranged for a small camping style cabin for two nights of relaxation for our 24th wedding anniversary We received a phone call from the office on the morning of our arrival that the Coldwater creek had flooded and our originally booked cabin was unreachable We were offered a full refund or a possible change of accommodations

We decided to go on and see what we could do for an alternative When Ms Suzanne in the office found out that it was a special day for us, she placed us in the Nashville Railcar Cabin It was absolutely beautiful and could not have possibly been any more perfect Also in addition to the creek flood eliminating all of their River trips and Zip line attractions, we ended up having the entire acreage to ourselves for the night of our anniversary I cannot say enough about the cleanliness and care of the entire campground as well as the friendliness of the staff Ms Suzanne deserves the highest of praise for saving our trip and going above and beyond to accommodate us We look forward to a return trip and experiencing more of their offerings in the future We had the most relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable time It was amazing! Thank you so much Ms Suzanne and the entire staff at Adventures Unlimited! Our joy was truly Unlimited!

Haven’t gone through my whole stay yet, but I’ve already had a great experience First time hotel hunting at 1AM and finally just decided to stop and ask if there was any availability There was, luckily, and the lovely woman at the front desk was so helpful and kind

She did everything she could to find me the BEST last minute price and didn’t even mind my jitters about getting a hotel room for the first time on my own The room is spotless and spacious, and the bathroom is honestly impressive Checked for bugs everywhere and found none I feel safe on the property, and the doors even have a stopper+lock combo that’s really nice 10/10 overall

Micah Little

I have stayed here for 4 days so far and it’s my second time staying here This time it’s different people and I want to recognize thoughtful service provided by some of the staff The bar was a highlight and the woman behind it was awesome – Trici really kept us smiling

It was really enjoyable and made for good times The chef today/Saturday was impressive and Tammy was really helpful went out of her way to assist The low point of the stay was the very rude short lady in the bistro Wednesday night, she has no business working for you all Otherwise the rooms are very nice & clean & comfortable Thomas in the front desk was very personable and helped me with laundry I will be back Thank you for the hospitality

Mister Review

This was a fantastic stay! Very new hotel with a great lobby and restaurant service The front desk was prompt and inviting They went over all of the items I would need to know and sent me quickly off to my room

The room was clean, spacious, and setup for my arrival Great workspace, large TV and quiet when needed I will definitely look to stay here again Thanks Marriott!

We did not come to this area to stay on vacation, only for doctor’s appointment but we were very impressed The hotel is very clean and very orderly You can smell cleanliness when you walk through the doors of both the lobby and your room

The front lobby staff was very kind and accommodating, they told us everything there was to know about our stay at their hotel All of the linens and appliances were spotless, no doubt that these rooms were cleaned well

We stayed here for our honeymoon to visit Pensacola for one week Shanna was the woman at the front desk who helped us Very sweet and kind, tended to our every need

During our stay our A/C in our room started having trouble, and she immediately saved us another room to transfer to, before they got fully booked She made our honeymoon so great!!! She answered all of our questions, and also helped us find places to go an experience Pensacola We will definitely be back to visit this place because of her The entire staff and cleaning ladies were all so sweetAnd the owner, offered us complimentary water when we arrived It just goes to show, that a hotel doesn’t have to be extremely expensive to get top notch service!!! I really thought this place would be better than it was considering I paid 68000 for two nights! The check in person was good However, the “snack” store was wiped out

No bottle water at all and they do not have any vending machines I was told by the front desk there was a “Dollar Tree” down the road! Are you serious!? I took my very first shower the first night at 11pm and there was NO HOT water at all It was barely even warm and the water pressure was non existent! Come on Marriott The Navy Lodge I stayed at the night before was HOT and pressure was excellent I am so disappointed and afraid I will be taking another terrible shower tomorrow SMH

Raegan Price

Highly recommend for families! We have an infant and a toddler The bathroom / tub room are split so they’re basically two rooms that a pack and play would fit in We made sure we weren’t gonna shower for the night and put our sons pack n play into that room and closed the door for the night and we still had access to the bathroom

Then the trundle bed was perfect for our toddler In the past we’ve made a partition with a blanket from that area too Sooo nice to have had this space and be able to sleep all in one room without being awake all night

OUTSTANDING STAFF AND PROPERTY! We have stayed here for ten days total, in two 5 day stints, and I feel very blessed to have gotten to know a tiny bit of the amazing staff! I will start with the property though: very very clean, updated, comfortable, and modern Beautiful pool at the perfect temperature, love the individualized temperature control in the rooms (for once you can actually set your room at the temperature you are most comfortable at!), and love the clean, large, well-appointed rooms The fridges are a tiny bit small, but they are an appropriate size for the room, and it is a hotel fridge, so oh well

The rooms all have COX cable, with a guide so you don’t have to channel surf The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the blankets are warm But the best part of this property (that is already great!) is the STAFF! Ms Keisha was invaluable, she answered my questions prior to arrival, she checked our family in, she saw us every afternoon and evening, and even remembered our original room number when we came back a week later (just shows her attention to detail!) She takes customer relations seriously, never badmouthing other customers, always following up on any questions, and always having just the kindest, sweetest way of dealing with you that makes you feel like you are home! Also a HUGE shoutout to Ms Tiffany, Ms Amanda, and Ms Amber, we were so so grateful for each and every one of them They were ALL professional, ALL kind, and ALL experts in helping make our stay wonderful! It means a lot when you come back after a long day and they remember something small about you, and actually care about how you are doing I hope they are all recognized for the AMAZING service they each provide!Highly highly recommend this property: CLEAN, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ROOMS, GREAT LOCATION If we ever need a hotel again in the local area, we will be staying here!!!

Maranda Hardin

We rented a king suite and it was very nice The staff was incredibly friendly upon check in The pool was fairly small, but it was nice

Overall, I would stay here again Docked a star because the bed was as hard as a rock You’d expect a room that cost that much and because it was a suite, that the bed would be a little more comfortable

This is just my opinion and everyone is different so this could be a good hotel for you With that being said

the consbathroom is extra small, there is minimal lighting in the room and the bathroom, it is very old and outdated and not kept up very well the prosthe lobby is really cool looking but could be taken better care of and it would look awesome I do have to say they are very accommodating to my condition and they were nice and helpful at the front desk The housekeeping staff was not very nice even when you greeted them, but I guess I wouldn’t be happy if I had to clean up after others either?!?! All in all it was livable but not as nice as it could be

Pam Johnson

Our daughter was married in downtown Pensacola early March and we had a lot of family and friends come in from out of state We decided to stay there as well for 2 nights It was absolutely the perfect place to stay for our occasion

With the bar and restaurant, it allowed us to hang out with our family and friends in between wedding stuff Everyone loved staying here! The staff is very pleasant as well

JD

Very thin walls, could hear (and smell since they were smoking in a non-smoking hotel) everything going on next store Could also hear the room above us Stayed two nights

Got back the second night late and our room was not cleaned, so no coffee in the morning Believe it or not, the coffee in the room was actually better than the coffee in the restaurant Normally I stay at Marriott properties but I wanted something more full service in the area, but that was a mistake, should have stayed at the Residence Inn or Courtyard down the street When I explained my concerns at check out, no discount was even offered, all the gentleman seemed concerned about was that I didn’t let them know right away as they offer 24 hour service What he didn’t seem to understand is I didn’t want someone to come in my room at midnight to clean the room, replace the coffee, and provide clean towels The way it was handled was the most troubling I won’t stay here again

If you were to stay on North Davis highway this would be the hotel to stay at It’s clean They have free laundry

The pool is nice They have snacks all night long that you can go buy in a little snack shop You can charge it to the room There is no problem getting fresh towels They’re fresh sheets They allow pets It is just a nice place to stay People are friendly Staff is courteous and they take care of all your needs Don’t go anywhere else Make this your destination if you’re going to stay on that highway

Scotty S

I called ahead to see if they had a room available for an early morning check in because I am a day sleeper and the lady at the desk said sure I went in and started the process of checking in In the process the lady asked me if I was staying just one night

I answered yes and in fact I would be checking out at 6:30 the same day She then told me she only had availability for a next day check out and that she didn’t have a room for a same day checkout This made absolutely no sense that I had to leave and find another hotel What is the difference if I check out at 630 today or 1130 tomorrow?

MShea Smith

I didn’t stay here, but I’ve made deliveries here The lady who greeted me at the entrance was friendly and helpful It appears to be a nice place to stay

I like how far back the hotel is from Davis hwy You wouldn’t know there are 2 hotels tucked in that back corner Parking was a bit tricky, even at night There doesn’t seem to be enough room to manuver easily The hotels are really close together so traffic is a bit hectic from both hotels guests coming and going

Hotel was very clean, probably one of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed at A staff member was always cleaning

good smell too Breakfast was just ok, could have had a better selection, especially adding bacon to the selection Got to have bacon!!!! Room was very clean and spacious Pool was awesome, only thing is, during our 4 day stay, never saw any maintenance person cleaning it?? We did report the numerous hornets nest in the pool area but was told hotel didn’t have any spray to kill them??? Supplier was out of stock So I took myself down the road to walmart and bought a can, came back and took care of those things!!! Hotel is close to everything you need, don’t have to travel far Overall, had a great stay and would stay there again!!

No coffee, no food, no orange juice, only water on the counter…the front desk staff is behind the desk looking at his phone…

Everyone at the hotel is looking at each other confuse and upset… I kindly asked him what’s going on with this, well… he blamed it on the next person not showing up for work!!He should’ve took have stepped up to the plate and showed his boss everything is under control!!!It’s unfortunate that a multimillion business hires employee with limited capabilities!!!Time to begin retraining!!!Can’t complain about the room, they are very clean!

This was my second time staying with this hotel and both times are comparableThe room was clean but had a cleaning chemical smell when we first went in We requested extra towels and pillows which were in the room

We found a lizard in our room this stay which we told the front desk about and they apologized for it I can’t hold that against them as it is the south and where alot of lizards liveThe pool area is decent as well as the fitness center The breakfast was decent, not bad but not the best either It has the usual breakfast foods but there is also a Wafflehouse within walking distance so if a quick simple breakfast isn’t your thing then you have another optionStaff are friendly overall and professional both times I have stayed I had to stay another day and they were accommodating with adding an extra day without any problems I like to support local mom and pop shops and they told me where to go and where to avoid Some of the best food I’ve eatenOverall a nice place to stay 30 minutes from the beach, 50 minutes with traffic It is off the beaten path but I prefer that rather than a hotel right next to a noisy highway

Decent I got in at 9pm, was told the usual, last room, it’s a suite, BS, to justify charging $229+taxes for 13 hours I paid in cash, and gave em a card to “HOLD”; you guessed it, they tried to charge it for $350+ overnight!!!!! Thankfully, I can turn it on/off from my phone, easily, and had turned it off

Upon checkout, I confirmed my cash payment, and the beautiful young lady with the gorgeous tan made sure it was all good She was the one and only bright spot, to an otherwise unpleasant experience I stayed the night of March 16th, 2022, and paid $25648 for an out dated room in Milton, FL Lol

Our stay was nothing short of amazing We booked last minute due to a reservation with a different chain being a very scary experience, from the time we arrived front desk receptionist was so welcoming and kind The hotel was very clean as was our room and bathrooms

The beds were comfortable for my taste Noise was never an issue I decided to get Hilton points in place of breakfast but we did enjoy some cocktails at the bar that evening The bar staff was so nice and even made our son feel welcomed in the restaurant area with a Shirley temple Thank you Hilton staff for making our quick weekend trip a great one

Great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn From the front desk to the clean rooms everything was perfect I stayed at another hotel in the area (that was the same price) not that long ago and the rooms were disgusting

Not the case here even though the cleaning crew wasshort staffed and they had to turn the whole hotel The front desk clerks were super help and cheerful I would definitely go back when I’m the the area again

I am extremely impressed with my stay here so far I had to stay here 20 nights for a school They were the first to accommodate my lengthy stay after calling about 15 hotels

Ryan is super gracious and energetic, and the breakfast staff is on point The breakfast is a big part of how positive my review is!!! Everyone here seems to really like working here and have good relationships with each other This hotel is extremely clean and has a great crew I will recommend this place to the next people at my work who have to travel

HUGE heads up to future Marriott guests:Due to covid, all Marriotts across the country and doing away with the fresh hot breakfast They’re switching to a grab and go prepackaged food/snack setup This is a huge disappointment to us considering this will be our home for the next 3 months and we were really counting on the hot breakfast every morning to save us a bit of money in our food expenses

This notice was told to us by the breakfast attendant at this location So if you’re expecting hot breakfast at any Marriott, consider staying elsewhereFor everything else: as I mentioned, this will be our home for the next 3 months and so far we are quite happy aside from the breakfast debacle The staff are very helpful and friendly Any time we need something, our requests are promptly fulfilled Beds are comfortable and the room was well presented upon our arrival Great location for our needs as well

I am blown away by the staff and cleanliness of this hotel Residence Inn is always spotless and the house keeping do daily cleanings The hotel staff takes so much care in assisting its guests, anyone of them will stop what they were doing and help you immediately

They are pet friendly and allow pets to be in patio area if they are leashed Got to meet a lot of friendly cats in the windows and see a-lot of wagging tails They tend to keep animals on the first floor, incase you are allergic they will put you on the upper floors The rooms are amazing for a short stay or a long stay The swiveling TV that allows you to watch TV anywhere in the room is amazing! Their rooms have a-lot of countertop space and a very large desk that helps if you are planning on working remotely Hotel is military friendly and will match government hotel rate Big thank you to the staff for making our stay stress free and making our stay feel at home

The staff and management were completely rude Upon arriving we noticed plumbing issues, for example

the toilet took 3 minutes to flush the first time it was used After a great night on the town we got back to our room, and used the bathroom once more This time it wouldn’t flush, we were very tired from being out all night so we decided to wait until morning around 8am so that we would be able to communicate the situation more efficiently When we woke the following morning, our entire hotel room was soaked in water After explaining what happened to the manager, he TOLD us that WE had to pay for the damages In all of my years of traveling i have never witnessed a plumbing issue of this magnitude The workers who were hired to fix the problem, were complaining and cursing viciously The manager was no better than the workers I would recommend staying in any hotel in Pensacola, FL besides this one

Some Guy

Hotel was a great value for the money, free breakfast is very good and there is a complementary snack bar in the lobby from 5-7 with drinks Overall, its a great hotel and I’d rather book here than any chain hotel No sketchy activity and a constantly clean and maintained interior and exterior make for a great place to stay while in Pensacola

Rachael walker

Me and my boyfriend stayed this weekend and this hotel was perfect for what we were looking for, rooms were nice and clean, And the location was perfect walking distance to everything We will definitely come back the next time we stay in Pensacola Definitely good for the price and they actually had good toilet paper in the bathroom lol
