This was a last minute getaway, and we were not disappointed with this place It is a newly remodeled bed and breakfast that’s only a block and a half from the beach Top quality staff, amenities, and food

Plenty of areas inside and outside to just sit and relax You can have a romantic evening by the fire pit in the back or a glass of wine on the front porch We look forward to going back, and checking out the other rooms, since this was the smallest one

I booked a party of 9 people to stay the weekend at Ocean Park Inn, and what a wonderful experience! The owner, Dominic, was so helpful and accommodating, which really helped with the planning and the whole staff couldn’t have been nicer He really made the plan come together for usThe rooms are clean, and the breakfast was more than adequate, the use of the upstairs guest kitchen came in very handy!!!The location near the beach and near downtown and near Asbury Park couldn’t have been more ideal

Outside of wanting to bring my own pillows because theirs are *very* flat and uncomfortable, this place is a little gem and I look forward to booking a getaway there again before the summer is over!

Rachel Solarek

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night after a wedding The place was so clean and the room was good for a single night Bathrooms were super clean as well

My only complaint was the bed we had was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve slept on It felt like I was sleeping on the floor honestly The pillows were also very flat and uncomfortable Thankfully we were only there for a night due to that

Rien Jen

I stayed at Ocean Park Inn in early fall last year, and it was a very pleasant experience The room was modest but comfortable; everything was clean and felt cozy But more than anything, it was QUIET

I actually had my window open (2nd floor) for 2 nights before I realized it–that’s how peaceful it was The owners were nice and the exterior looks just like the photo on the website And the location is perfect for hitting the beach or strolling the Asbury boardwalk I highly recommend

My boyfriend booked a hotel here and I live in Florida I was super excited about it but unfortunately was astonished at the service their staff is offering Not only was the front desk person extremely rude and acted like he was too good to be working there The ENTIRE room and level of floor we were in was extremely HOT

When we asked for help, they brought a fan and said they couldn’t do much about it I got into an argument with the front desk person and so did another guest The bar said it was supposed to be open from A certain time and nobody was ever there Cops were called from his side and my own as well We spoke to the manager in the morning where she said she would follow up with me and recently called to say they can’t do anything about it Nice decor in the room but Absolutely the worse place I’ve ever stayed I highly recommend going somewhere else

Alan Smith

Location was very good, as were the size of the roomsNegatives – breakfast was stale bagels, no microwave in the room – apparently you had to ask for this at check in despite no one telling us this until check out – staff were pleasant but not helpful, room furniture was tall enough to be designed for a hobbit, AC in the room leaked, room safe didn’t work, one of the TVs in the room didn’t work, smokers in the corridors, no cutlery in the roomNone of the negatives were in themselves deal killers but at the price this hotel is charging you expect it to be pretty near perfect It far from it

It’s a nice hotel Room and bathroom were clean Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows

The blanket was thin however, not sure why they didn’t have a comforter They also have a restaurant and a little store We didn’t eat at the restaurant but their breakfast options were small and undesirable The store was convenient yet ridiculously expensive They sell snacks, water, wine, beer, and small things you might need like medicine, etc Overall it was a good experience The few things I didn’t like were that when we first arrived, exhausted after a long day and drive and wanted to check in, the girl at the front desk was on the phone and would not get off We waited for a very long time and could hear that the customer was asking her ridiculous questions, she kept telling them that she’s have to transfer them to another place but just wasn’t doing it You’re supposed to cater to the people actually in front of you first, not people on the phone, so she should’ve at least put that person on hold or transferred them alreadyBesides that, we were looking forward to getting drinks at their bar and found out that it’s only open from 5 pm until 9 pm Um why? Someone else we ran into was pretty unhappy with that as well Yet they purposely sell alcohol for two/there times the price it’s worth in their little store The last thing was that we requested a late checkout upon check-in and the girl gave us a check-out time of 1 pm Yet the day of our check-out, the phone rang once at 11 am and our key cards stopped working at 12 pm We weren’t ready and didn’t check out until 12:45 pm but luckily it didn’t become an issue

I could not believe the service that I received from this Hotel SUPERB!!!If I could give more stars I would Sharon the manager was such a sweetheart and did more for me than I ever expected

Nate, Brandon, Ryan, and Maggie were front desk associates who made my stay memorable and provided stellar customer service Any time I visit Wall Township, this will be the ONLY hotel I will stay at I am beyond pleased with my stay here and will be doing so for the foreseeable future

Arnon O

Firstly, there is nothing around this hotel ( restaurants bars erc)The maintenance of the rooms is lacking , the sink in my room was clogged , the ironing board would wrinkle your cloths even more Where most hotels which do not provide complementary breakfast provide coffee in the lobby , at this hotel there is only ( expensive) coffee for purchase( the coffee in the rooms is the liw end kind and is complimented by powdered whiteners

)The AC in the room will either freeze you or the room will be warm and damp when the temperature is selected to a warmer temperatureThe windows have not been cleaned in a while ( the windows in the photo are not steamed or wet)couldn’t see much outside on a nice clear dayThe front desk staff was responsive and helpfuloverall, not a pleasant stay

Could not beat a relaxing location on the water Smaller boutique hotel with full service offering Excellent restaurant overlooking River with largest scallops I have ever seen!! Walking distance to Main Street and lots of other food options and grocery! Beds very comfortable, rooms quiet and contain a fridge with full floor to ceiling windows !! It is an older hotel that was upgraded in the past but very very clean !

Samg381

This was my first time eating at the Oyster Point since I was very young I was pleased with the cleanliness of the hall, attentive staff and tasty dinner Despite having rented the banquet hall with patio access, there were no lights outside, making what could have been a fun scenic overlook into more of a treacherous affair

I’m happy I took a cab over, because parking was an utter nightmare The Coca-Cola was flat Nevertheless an all-around pleasant time

Hellene Liu

I expected better rooms, as the common areas are pretty well maintained Our beds were okay, the sliding door to the closet was jammed on both sides There was no hair dryer and the shower had nonexistent water pressure

The water in the tub did not go down the drain as quickly as it should And our room did not get cleaned We left the room at 2pm and I saw the housekeeper still doing her rounds but our room for some reason was left out, it had the door tag please service For 600+/2 nights I was hoping for a really great room but sadly, I was extremely disappointed

This resort is absolutely amazing! The room, the view, the food, the location, and the staff are ALL outstanding A serious highlight to this resort is the staff! They are top notch, so helpful, professional, and attentiveWe reserved a corner suite with ocean views, it was fantastic! Spacious, comfortable, and luxurious! The bed was perfect and the shower was large, clean, and very modern

I highly recommend booking a stay at this lovely resort, I wish we could’ve stayed much longer!!

Victoria DelCasino

I booked this hotel for myself and a friend to celebrate her 50th and I Highly recommend it Very clean, updated modern decor, great bedding, and AMAZING views from the oceanfront room The staff was professional, efficient, kind and very welcoming

The front desk manager Patrick Muir went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some The addition of a note and chocolates in the room for my friend was a wonderful extra The cafe downstairs that’s open very early for coffee and muffins was so convenient, and lunch at the Catina that’s also attached was delicious! There’s a whole pool area with views of the beach very cool, and there’s separate beach area for only hotel guests is set up with chairs and umbrellas that was awesome This has now become our go to at the Jersey shore

Janie Schmidt

Great location, great service, good for families This is the second time we have stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves Only a few suggestions: Please replace the balcony furniture, it is very rusted

Also, some of the furniture is very stained in the lobby and the sofa in the rooms I wish guests had free access to the ice machine That would be much more convenient than asking for ice to be delivered It’s a great destination for a shore vacation and we plan on returning!

Maia – მაკო Iosava

The overall stay was excellent I am satisfied with the accommodations as well as the cleanliness of the rooms/hotel It is worth mentioning that the room had all appliances in the kitchen where you could cook whatever you liked and also the suite was very comfortable for three people as it has two full beds and separate living room with sofa bed (expanding)

We all really enjoyed the stay and I would go back if I have to The only thing I am less satisfied is the breakfast which was mostly out if frozen foods but self-serve waffles were deliciousThank youMaia

Very homely, surrounded by nice woods and I believe a small river The facilities were clean the staff nice and the room was superb Had a nice kitchen with everything included (electric stove, sink, refrigerator, cabinets, plates, utensils the works

Bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was a nice touch! Overall a positive experience, only complaint is that the managers reception is only on Wednesdays Wish it was everyday and also the offerings aren’t anything to write home too Honestly it was the worst thing about it, prisons get better meals and snacks Please make an effort to at least really show you care about the guests that pay money to stay in your building

Five stars is not enough Well maintained Nice gym

Very nice and professional staff We had a rough time with other hotels in the area and this Homewood suites blows all the others out of the water Extra kudos to Teresa (I believe) who was working the night shift and dealt with a handful of very aggressive customers with a smile She was poised and showed much more patience than the average person Thank you!

We liked the vibe of the place I called the hotel upon booking personally the day before to check on the attached restaurant w-river view was going to be open the one night we were staying there for a birthday get-away After we hit the beach and then dressed to go eat, the place was shut down early due to a power outtage that had occurred earlier

No fault of anyone of course! But a little surprising, never mentioned so that we could get dinner on time (places close early so it was a sprint to find a good meal in time) So the place operates simply but the beach is beautiful across the hwy and this is a great town Attention to detail in the room is a C but it’s fresh, simple, and positive I appreciated the chance to stay there a lot and look forward to checking out their new building if not too much higher for the stay We both thought the price was way above the motel room but it’s the location, nice feeling and maybe because there are no other hotels to compete with 🙂

Ruth Fleshman

I checked in last night Nice room, no hairdryer, shower curtain too high Outside shower curb resulting in flooded bathroom floor, no hot water

Informed front desk no hot water at 9:00 AM At 4:30 pm next day informed that we needed to change rooms do to gas problem Here I am at 6:30 sitting on steps, no place to go The room I was reassigned to is a mess but the house keeper is cleaning a room that someone WILL be checking into I am sitting on steps No place to go to REally???Staff are very nice I kinda feel bad for this review but use caution

Michele Finley

Tiny room The bathroom hasn’t been updated in at least 25 years Almost no water pressure in the sink and the shower handle was rusted out, The TV was maybe a 20 inch

NO milk or cream for coffee Choice motel would’ve been better Tiki bar was fine not free so why the $435 a night? Colossal waste of money What a nerve to charge so much for a motel room that hasn’t been upgraded in decades and no maid service

Hi all, my review is for the restaurant only as I’ve never stayed overnight as a guestIf I had to use just one word to describe my experience it would be “WOW!!” Everything about the restaurant was fantastic It’s tucked away on a side street away from the hustle and bustle of Cookman Ave

and the boardwalkI had halibut which was a special that night and my dining partners had short ribs and crab cakes I ended my meal with a delicious piece of cheesecake We all shared our meals and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was The wait staff was extremely personable and attentive This was truly a top notch experience My only regret is that despite only living ten minutes away, I never tried this place sooner For anyone looking for a great dining experience by all means do not pass this place up, you will not regret it Enjoy!!!

One and done This place needs a major renovation Dingy feel, torn and outdated furniture

Pool area is a mess with rotted wood and fixtures The room was bare and dirty The bathroom tiles full of mold The ceiling fan covered in nasty dirt The bathroom towels are thin and measly The climate/ac is controlled by floor I could go on Also, didn’t realize hotel is not necessarily walking distance to beach or other parts of Asbury Park entertainment and dining area Only positive was friendly, but not particularly welcoming, front desk staff There are much better options at this price point

Tom Miller

We loved our long weekend at Hotel Tides It is a small hotel in a renovated older building, but the prices are reasonable and the amenities are terrific We decided to skip the beach for the 4 days we were there and just stay by the pool

So relaxing to be able lay by the pool with a g&t (or two or three) and a pretty delicious lunch The entire staff was friendly and extremely accommodating Special thanks to Michael Sanatcroce who filled us in on all the important information upon check-in in and all weekend Ryan, and artist Michael on the desk at night were also great!

Cedars and Beeches is an awesome place to stay in Long Branch! It is clean and the staff is friendly Esther makes the most delicious muffins along with a great breakfast! The rooms are inviting and the house is amazing It brings you back to a simpler time when life was more relaxed

It also has a huge front wrap around porch, one of my favorite spots besides being on the beach! You have to check this special place out for yourself

Michelle Baby

Even though my friend canceled last minute, I had the best time here! Esther is super friendly and a great host! My room was beautiful and the windows overlooked the yard I watched the deer for hours! The bed was super comfy and I loved all of the details The bathroom set up was exquisite

The shower always had hot water The breakfast is amazing! I especially loved the muffins! They were baked to perfection and beyond fresh! The waitress is super friendly and has a huge smile The mid day baked goods were exceptional as well! The B&B was quiet and I got great nights of sleep I definitely recommend this place Housekeeping is also warm and friendly Leaving today I was sad I couldn’t bring myself to have breakfast and felt bad I missed a delicious meal I was also sad that I didn’t see Esther before I had left to thank her for the wonderful stay! I definitely will be coming back

My boyfriend and I stayed at Cedars and Beeches for 2 nights and everything was fantastic! Wife & I stayed August of 2021 and we have nothing but great things to say and even fonder memories of our stay at the Inn Bill & Linda are great Location was great as we enjoyed the brief 3 min walk to the beach

Food was excellent, especially when Bill comes out to ask ” what would you like for breakfast” It’s great instead of this is what’s for breakfast Linda is great with all other matter like info for the area and making you feel welcome Their background in hospitality shows, as they are there as you need them and never make you feel as if you are intruding We were welcomed from the moment we walked in Our room was quaint and comfortable and the a/c was great for our sized room (coming from someone who is always hot)One of the best days there was a rainy morning breakfast on the porch listening to the wind chimes as the rain fell Heading back soon and maybe for a fall trip too Start making memories and just book already

JT N

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and worthwhile stay at the Jersey Shore, this is the place A truly welcoming B&B with a wrap-around porch that peacefully screams summer nights Friendly super-hosts, Linda and Chef Bill are a great pair that we got to know over the weekend

I’m working as the Innkeeper here at the Saltwater Inn for the 2022 season! I love it! Belmar is full of wonderful people and amazing beaches! We are just two blocks from the Beach and easily walkable to Main Street and so many restaurants! The Inn is freshly painted and updated The housekeepers do an amazing job Best summer gig ever!

My stay at the SaltWater Inn was nothing but spectacular The new owners really out did themselves and made both the inside and outside of the inn look amazing Our room was very clean and well-kept as well as the rest of the Inn as a whole

The included mini fridge in the room, wrap around porch, free parking, and the provided continental breakfast was an added bonus that made our stay great In addition, the innkeeper is onsight and readily availble for any needs you may have during your stay, plus she is super friendly and helpful! This will be my go-to place when visiting Belmar!

The Inn Keeper , Chip, was soimpaired he could not find the key to our room We arrived late and heleft our room open The arrangement he would leave the key in the room

He did It leave the key We had to find him in his room by following the ring tone He could barely stand up We got himDownstairs and seemingly found the key on his ring to our room We left to go out and join arriving back in we were locked out of our room Chip has to be woken up again by us Literally he stood in front of the office swaying , not able to put any key on the key hole At this point we had our our stuff in the room, it’s after midnight so we had to stay We had to climb in through the bedroom window all while Chip swayed and slurred We did speak with the management company Apparently new owners took ownership two days ago Apparently they didn’t care enough to check on who was running the Inn After a few conversations with management company she stated she would let new owners know We waited a week or so hoping they would reach out to compensate us for such a horrible experience Since we have not heard from them , I wrote the review I would not stay here untilThis major issue is addressed Thankfully I was not alone , and we were able to gather our belongings The front porch smelled from a guest smoking pit outside Chip was a nightmare The owner should have reaches out and offered us an apology and compensation I have allOf this on video so can back up my reporting Do yourself a favor stay some place else It is not safe

This review is for the Spa only!I did the Rejuvenation package where I had a massage, scrub and facial The locker room and lounge area was very nice, it was a gorgeous view even on a cloudy day All services were excellent, however the only odd thing was that after the massage, I had to go back out to the lounge to wait for my scrub/facial

It would have been nicer to relax and do all services in one room But there may have been a reason for that so I didn’t deduct any stars for thatThe services were all great, I really enjoyed the scrubEverything was very clean as wellI also accidentally left all my rings and necklace in my robe that I put in the laundry! They kindly looked for it and found most of my pieces (luckily only one was a real stone which I got back), so I was really happy they were so sweet about that!!

Amazing location Great town Perfect quick getaway from the city

The resort is pet-friendly, which was great The outdoor seating area (equipped with awesome fire pits) and lobby are fantastic The beach and town are great tooThe rooms were Eh Decent size, nice views from balcony, and pretty comfortable beds Shower didn’t drain Door locks were broken TV was fuzzy Things kept falling down/falling off the wall in the bathroom Small stains on carpet Safe didn’t work Bed sheets/covers were scratchy and uncomfortable However, none of these issues were terrible Just inconvenient and an eye sore at worstThe pool was Fine Not terrible, but pretty small and the pool area was underwhelming Disappointed that most of the day, the pool bar was close and there wasn’t really service at the pool for drinksThe main issue was the service Everybody was super nice But took us over 2 hours for lunch with multiple mistakes Would take me 45 mins to get a drink at the bar even with just 5 or 6 patrons sitting there They were missing many ingredients, blenders and other items behind the bar were not working The servers/bartenders were VERY inexperienced and seemed pretty over their heads and incapable of performing the simplest tasks/requests Watched one bartender spend nearly 15 minutes at the computer trying to ring in an order with just two drinksOverall, enjoyed our stay and plan to go back again But rooms definitely need upgrades and service staff needs MAJOR overhaul and training

This review is based on the event services, we worked with Sara! She did a great job in coordinated our child’s birthday event on the beach! Food was made on sight and they were able to accomodate dietary restrictions The beach venue is clean and absolutely stunning with the ocean in the back! Our guests loved the food and ambiance as well as being able to go in the ocean! Would recommend!

Stayed 3/19/22 for my cousin’s birthday Besides the room & hotel being unmatched in beauty & cleanliness, the experience we had from the minute we walked in will be impossible to top The room took our breath away, the hotel was gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond any experience we have ever had

Special shout out to Daniel, the most wonderful person we have ever had the pleasure of engaging with Not only did he answer every silly question or request we had when we called, he went above & beyond to make us feel like the most important guests at the hotel no matter the situation Your staff is top notch We will undoubtedly be back in the future, it was money well spent and this place has ruined us for any other hotel in the future Fabulous place Worth every cent Five stars! ❤️ #room34
