This place was absolutely amazing! Best bed we’ve ever had on a vacation! Pool was great Gazebo’s with curtains by the pool were great! The awesome bar, the music can’t be heard from your room We were just getting to the pool and the front desk lady brought us both fresh towels

She was awesome too the whole week we were there! I would definitely recommend this place Only downfall we had was the AC in our room didnt get cold enough but we bought a fan and that fixed that one and only issue! Loved it here Thank you for making out vacation so amazing!

When checking into a hotel, I am very picky I work at a Marriott property After reading the reviews at this property and seeing the photos online I decided to give it a shot, and we couldn’t be happier!! This property gave such a cute boutique hotel vibe

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, good quality linens, etc Pool area was clean, hotel provided towels, tiki hut had good drinks and upon checking we received 2 complimentary Staff and management was friendly, helpful, professional, and extremely responsive to any requests Definitely recommend staying at the golden host if you are looking for something affordable, clean, comfortable and central to everything 5/5 stars

Shawna Taylor

When we pulled in the husband was like you aren’t going to like it I definitely looked into the reviews The airport isn’t very noisy Yes we are on a main road but it does quiet down at night

The pool is clean and big Very clean Rooms are huge Updated with very little flaws Love the retro look! Definitely recommend Sorry took pictures a little late so it’s a little messy

Warm, friendly and professional staff, from check in to the wait staff The hotel has an amazing calm smell of a spa that you notice the moment you enter Restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub well maintained and staffed

Beautiful views and immediate access to the beach We had the most amazing meals at the restaurant and I had the absolute best hamburger I have ever had at the outside bar managed by Lorrie! Oh yes the Coastal wings are the bomb! This will definitely be our go to place when we are in town! Thank you for a relaxing and carefree stay!

Brent Kane

This was our first stay at The Shores The accommodation were great The mini fridge in the room was nice to have

The coffee maker in the room was a single serve style that uses flat pods basically consisting of coffee grounds in a coffee filter pouch If you’re a coffee person you can bring coffee and small coffee filters Pour some grinds in your filter, fold it over a few times and it will work like a champ The valet folks did a great job We didn’t eat at the restaurants on the property so we can’t say what they’re like The facility was clean and well staffed everywhere Bartenders were great and were not selfish with their pours The views are stunning and the balconies are spacious Everything in the room worked as you’d expect If our adventures bring us back to the Daytona area again this is where we’ll stay

Astrid Cardona

So, I was trying to be fair with my ratings because the location was nice, the property is beautiful but feel like there should be microwaves in the rooms, better coffee machines and they don’t have roll out beds I feel like most hotels have that and because of this I have to overall give it a four stars They have a really nice property so if you have exactly four people in your party, there should be no issues

A/C sometimes gets too warm I’d go back again but would make sure to bring a blow up bed

Great place on beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants The staff in general were attentive The beach is great and the pool was warm, with a great pool side bar

They have some service at the beach but it was extremely limited during our stay We never saw pool side service at allCons-Our server Emily for breakfast was not pleasant in the least We never went back for breakfast after this experience The menu for family’s is lackingThe vibe after 6pm is disappointing in Vero Other than restaurants there is little to do in Vero after 6The second bedroom is not inviting and provides no room to move around in at all For the price paid expected more in that regardThe room in general shows some wear, and the doors would be better served to have a modern keyed system The room needs some new touches such as TV’s,There should be coffee, hot coco left out for longer hours

Omar Adorno

The staff at this resort is amazing Communication through the stay was constant to make sure our stay was pleasant From the front desk ,bar,Valet,Concierge, House keeping and beach personnel, all staff was friendly and attentive

The room was clean and exactly what was shown at the website Will definitely go back Thank you Sean,Evan and Brandie for the attention given You definitely make this place better!!

I specifically wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to the resort and staff – we had an excellent time at this resort I think most importantly, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and specialFirst of all, we’d considered taking our jet ski with us on our trip and asked the hotel to accommodate us – they did, and as soon as we pulled in to the lot mentioned that they’d held a parking spot for our ski

We ended up not taking our ski, but this was a really nice touchSecond, the hotel is dog friendly – and they truly made our two four legged friends feel like part of their family If you were there the week we were, you probably caught a glimpse of, or heard about “the border collies” Anyway, the pups had a great timeNext, the hotel had a welcome gift in our room (and our room was ready two hours early) I’m not going to mention the vineyard for the bottle they left us – but either they have very high standards or did their research on us – as it was our favorite bottle of wineFinally, the whole staff really did just a great job – from the guys working the beach equipment, to the front desk, the bell staff, etc We had a really enjoyable visit and will definitely be coming back!

Wow! My Wife and I set reservations at the Black Dolphin Inn for our anniversary and absolutely loved our stay! Brett and his Team were very professional, accommodating and made sure their guest’s experience was one to remember in the best of ways! Our room was very clean and felt like it was made up especially for us! Ohhh and do not let me forget to share about the food they serve! Chef Joshua was cooking up some amazingly tasty breakfasts! Heck! The wife and I would come back just to have one of those breakfast sandwiches they make!! 🙂 If you are ever in the area The Black Dolphin Inn is definitely a place to consider for your stay!

Excellent and pleasantly surprised We only stayed here one night, having never been before Firstly, the location is great

I love the Sands! A historic treasure that I found extremely clean with exceptionally helpful and kind employees (everyone I met was wonderful), incredible views, fantastic tiki and restaurant/bar, and a beautifully maintained pool At night time, the lights in this place accentuate and compliment the beautiful property on the water Soothing and welcoming

To be fully transparent and honest, I was a little concerned when I first entered my room because it’s very outdated But there are very few historic hotels that don’t go through periods of transition, and the Sands is in a stage of upgrades What really blew me away is how meticulously maintained this property is The staff works so hard not just to welcome you to the property, but also to ensure all your needs are met and the room you have reserved is meticulously cleaned I was extremely pleased I was extremely comfortable, felt safe, and I slept better at the Sands than I have in nearly any other hotel True story 💜I look forward to returning to the Sands It’s a gem!

Terrence Rowe

Overall I had a good experience It would have been nice if breakfast was available, and for my room to be cleaned I would often need to talk to the cleaning staff myself for my room not to be passed over The front desk gentlemen was professional and made a positive impact on my time here

The location is quiet and I would recommend this place to those not seeking a bustling nightlife Very chill environment If the stars ever align correctly I would like the chance to come back Something to note that wasn’t super clear on some travel sites is that there was a $200 deposit and parking is not included (5 day stay cost me about $120) Something to keep in mind

HawaiiBobsGardenArt

The room has been recently remodeled with all the latest furnishings!I had a king suite with a kitchenetteThere is a large balcony with furniture and an incredible view of the intercostal water and the sunset! The staff are super friendly and the free coffee and continental breakfast is good Walking distance to many great restaurants and shopping!Truly a great location with options for dining and exploring this incredible island paradise! Can’t wait for the new lobby to be completed and the staff to be proud of their hard work and commitment for guest!!Many thanks!

We stayed for 5 days at this casino and we really enjoyed it You really don’t even have to leave once you arrive They have several dining options and the food is really good

My favorite was the rise and the council oaks They have an amazing spa (pricey but worth it) I have never experienced a spa any better! They have different clubs, bars ,nice pools and shopping places You honestly couldn’t ask for anything more The only cons are : valet is $30 a day and the beds in the rooms are not comfortable

Thomas Dzielak

Such a great casino Stopped here on my birthday weekend Very clean, nice food court to grab a quick bite to eat

A few gift shops to get some souvenirs In Wish they would open more table games earlier in the day The Seminole rewards card isn’t as hyped up as they make it to be Played tables, slots, etc and only got a few comp dollars Hotel rates are absolutely overpriced, even for in state residents which supposedly have promotional rates All In all, it’s a great getaway and a quick day vacation Free parking garage which is certainly a benefit

Lee Syrop

We had not been here in several years The renovation is beautiful and everything was in excellent shape The stores were beautiful but empty of shoppers

The restaurants were busier – yet the prices were high (but expected) We ate in the food court at the Asian Fusion location Food was good Prices not too high I did not gamble but enjoyed watching my girlfriend play She had fun even though she lost

The Hilton Sandestin has a great location right on the beach We had a partial beach view room in front of the pool on the 3rd floor The room was very roomy, but it was dated & had a stale odor

We had an awesome view with a balcony with chairs & a table They should probably renovate & remove the carpet & opt for more water/sand friendly flooring Our room was cleaned daily & all towels were replaced Parking was plentiful & safe I really didn’t like the resort fee, because they no longer provide canopies for the beach, so that’s an added expense to buy one in addition to paying the $4480/day resort fee The pools & hot tubs were always full (especially with tons of kids) from early in the morning to late at night I wish they had a designated Adults only pool area The pool chairs were claimed rather quickly, so we never had a chance to use any of the pool areas Side note (not the Hilton’s fault): The shoreline is full of green algae from May-October, so our next visit will be in the off season when it’s not present!

Vicki Morgan

Since this month is focused on accessibility, I will say that this is one of the best places to go if you’re in a wheelchair You can enjoy everything that people without physical challenges get to enjoy, to the fullest extent They upgraded our room for free

The food was terrific The service really depended upon the individual Some staff members were very willing to go the extra mile, and other staff members were only friendly enough to keep their jobs The food was excellent, but I will say that the breakfast buffet was priced too high Even the very rich avoided it, preferring the coffee bar instead We had no idea there was a breakfast menu; instead we were simply informed that the buffet breakfast for two would be $6300, not including tip Yes, there IS in fact a breakfast menu, and you can save a little $ that way, if you need to The drinks were a little light in all aspects The bathroom supplies too SO they’re trying to shave costs where they can, and yet, STILL I give them 5 stars for an excellent, MOST excellent stay

Destany Bruton

Let me start off by saying I stay at 10+ resorts a year and this was by far the worst experience ever You’re paying for location, the rooms are set up exactly like a hotel and they give you two tiny little trash cans for an entire week stay My trash sat outside my room for 24 hours after calling front desk several times

After a stressful day I finally get to the hot tub (which was wonderful and steaming hot) myself and a couple have kids throwing grapes off the balcony hitting myself & another lady in the face with them No regard to that, then when I call to order food from the restaurant not once was it mentioned if I had it delivered to the room it was a 20% tip plus a fee My $30 bill turned into $60 I was on the same level as the restaurant and would of been more than happy to go get it myself Their menu says the fees apply to 8+ people but that is not true The entire atmosphere was just off for us, lots of trash laying around then their indoor pool is right in front of a bar/restaurant as well Who would want to look at either while swimming or dining? As a travel agent who puts clients in these resorts year round I can’t say I will ever refer to a Hilton ever again Location was great, but unless you’re wanting to spend unnecessary money I would go elsewhere Also I called twice to ask about daily resort fees was told $35 a day then it turns to $75 Then all the amenities you do you have to pay, isn’t the $75 a day supposed to cover such?

Alright So let’s start with a review of the water park My kids had a great time

It was really fun for kids of all agesThe rooms are also very nice and roomy Unfortunately, however, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired The floors made our feet black within minutes of taking our shoes off, the sofa bed was so dirty and stained Had loose food and hair on itIt was an overall good experience, but will not be back

Kaylee Cruz

From check-in to check-out, we had such a great time and experience The Front Desk staff was amazing and welcoming The security guards were so friendly

We had a three bedroom (adjoining room) and it was nice and clean, had everything we needed The staff at the bar were great as well and the pool for the kids was kept up nicely and the lifeguards were very attentive We absolutely enjoyed our stay and cannot wait till our next visit!

Esa Loca

This place is a bit dated Rooms definitely need to be upgraded We had a one bedroom

The room in the bedroom was comfy but the pillows were not The pull out sofa was very hard and stained Maintenance did come by after I reported the sofa bed and they laid a brand new mattress on top of the sofa bed We weren’t able to close it the remainder of the stay but it was a good night’s sleep The lagoon area was nice and we enjoyed it They definitely need more umbrellas out there Overall it’s good for the price and the staff was all very welcoming and attentive

My daughter’s wedding was this weekend and what can I say nothing could off not being more perfect!!!! I want to especially thank Jacob that coordinated everything for the whole event to perfection His staff was superb, the food was great and the experience for the guest that stayed at the hotel was excellent The whole experience was awesome

Thank you for being a part of my daughter’s special day!!!

Great community! Lots to do, we were actually here for work so we didn’t get to get the real experience but just while there got to read all the different activities that start as early as 7am like bocce ball, shuffle board, pool aerobics Everything is beautifully decorated and the employees are super duper friendly! I will stay again if there for work! It’s my 3rd time staying here so I definitely like because I keep coming back even if just to sleep after a long days work because showers are double headed and beds are extra comfy and clean

Jeannine Foster

The view was nice, and they have a pretty pool but it was too cold to use it The area of the hotel is nice, however, they don’t clean the rooms, the restaurant is closed, they don’t even give you fresh towels The bed was horrible and we woke up with hurt backs and stiff necks every day

The coffee bar is the only thing they offer and it’s terrible Oh and the parking lot is not big enough to accommodate so have fun parking, especially in the evening My thought is if they are not going to provide any services, especially when they advertise them, then they should cut the cost of the rooms Extremely over priced for what you get Will never stay there again

I 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely coming back

This is fun hotel with a wonderful staff It has a youth hostel vibe but it’s great for families The beds are very comfortable and the decor is wonderfully playful

The one problem with the room is that space efficiency comes at the cost of privacy There’s a sliding door between the toilet and the shower so you can only close one at the time! The lobby has excellent snacks and a coffee bar

We stayed on the top floor (11) What a view👀 We stayed 6 days

The only reason I three 🌟 the room was it had mites-bugs 😑 😒 🙄 The way I found out was I had two meetings and had to sit at the desk area They were crawling on my paper I did report it but the reality was is it needed to be cleaned I think as a courtesy they should wipe down everything at least 2 times if a guest is staying a week They did comp my parking for 3 days ($15 per day) I just wanted the space cleanedHousekeeping was goodthe bathroom and bed were made and cleaned every dayOverall the bed slept good (buy new sheets, the ones on our bed looked molded), pillows were good, towels were good, shower was good The front desk staff was stellar There were two black ladies, one that was bald with the best personality ever, who always checked on us when she saw us The other lady just as awesome with a caring concerning attitude yet professional I can’t say enough about the level of service they gaveI would definitely stay here again My week of rest was really good

I spent here a couple of nights during a business trip in TampaI like so much the entire style of the hotel, starting from the entrance big doors, with automatic opening, the internal lounge area, the bar, the breakfast hall, etcMy room was very nice, not so big but with all the comfort, a big plus has been the bathroom with a big shower

The room was very clean, silent with a very comfortable bedThere is also the gym, with some equipments, but the room where are located is not so bigIf you want there’s also the possibility to have breakfast, with fresh fruit, yogurt, sweets but also something of savoryInside the hotel there’s also a nice swimming pool with a bar, where they can bring you something to eatAll the staff are very kind and professional, and for that reason I think that Alba is a very good solution for a business stay but for a family as well…congratulations to everybody…I hope in the future to come here again!

Our room was very comfortable We enjoyed sun bathing by the pool It was small, but not many of the guests were swimming Just enjoying the sun There are great restaurants at the Promanade across the street, as well as the hotel restaurant The hotel is in close proximity to the beaches Disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast, but we enjoyed our stay Anyway

Beach Club is on the perfect spot The beach is white sand soft and silky Their gym and pool are great place to re-charge

The rooms have an amazing view that was my favorite part waking up to see and hear the ocean Walking distance to many restaurants and our room had complementary chairs for the beach Thank you we will definitely come back

Overall, the building had a lot of wear and tear and hadn’t been maintained The pool and beach access was supposed to be secure but it wasn’t The unit, 202A, upon entering, had a musty smell and not enough towels for 6 people

When I addressed it, they had someone come up and flush the AC and install and Air Freshener This just masked the smell Poor follow up from management and no one even apologized or offered me anything for the smell even though everyone who entered smelled it Fridge didn’t work on first day and I had to get fixed Bar stool cushions were soiled Pull out couch shouldn’t be counted as an additional bed as it was super thin Couch itself was soiled too Shower liner and shower head had mold I wouldn’t recommend bunk beds for anyone close to 5 feet tall Provided 1 kitchen towel for a week stay Everyone else is correct that the view and location is perfect But it doesn’t excuse the poor condition of the unit

Not great Every room has a good view of the water That was nice

The room had a big puddle from the dripping AC unit It was also covered in rust where the water was coming out so this was not a new issue When I was in the lobby I heard another guest saying that there was water dripping from his bathroom ceiling Has also said that the night before the staff had to repair his bathroom because the people in the room underneath him were complaining about water dripping from their ceiling!Decent price compared to every other hotel on that strip but not a nice room TV didn’t have many working channels Internet did not work Very nice people working there They just need better management

We just left today and we were heartbroken to say goodbye We cannot wait to come back! We had a wonderful stay! The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful! Another thing we noticed is the hotel itself smelled so clean and I saw people cleaning constantly! My only complaint I have is we had a suite and we really wished the kitchen was in the middle of the two rooms and also the slats under our king size bed kept coming loose causing the mattress to fall We never asked anyone to repair it we just did it ourselves lol

We loved everything about this place though The location is nice and quiet Nice roomy parking area and they even had plenty of pool floats and chairs to use for the beach! Another favorite was the dog park for the dogs to go potty! The whole place was great! We will definitely be returning!

July 11-12, 2022: Hidden Gem among huge franchises! Not a 5 star hotel chain but 5 stars in cleanliness, professionalism, friendliness and the location is fabulous with quick access to the pool and beach The rooms are charming and the AC keeps the room cold! You can make dinner in or order out while dining to your private ocean view and sounds of the waves! We have found our go to place near Daytona!

The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean, the food was good and the atmosphere was excellent My wife and I have stayed on the North end of the beach before where it stays a lot busier and more spring breaker’s go but, we really enjoyed staying on the South end this time where it was a little quiter and the beach was wide open I also can ‘t thank the staff enough for going above and beyond to help us acquire 2 more additional nights for our anniversary

The kind note and bottle of champagne they left in the room was very thoughtful We will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place

Kristi Gast

Further from Times Square than was comfortable for me Even so, I enjoyed my stay here Garden room was perfect, ground floor and easy to access ice, laundry, tiki bar, pool, and beach

Downside pay for cabanas and pool is always full Large beach makes you feel like you are by yourself, which is awesome! Right on trolley stop Staff was incredibly friendly!! Might stay here again, but I do like the accessibility of the north end

This is our second time staying here We’ve been here in October and in June It is a little dated but mostly everything is here in FMB

The pool is always clean and they keep up with the trash cans so they are never over flowing The beach view is unmatched, if you want a great sunset experience this is your place The housekeeping is great and they’re extremely nice I don’t recommend the cafe downstairs, the service is slow and it is pretty expensive for the food quality There is construction here right now, which I’ve seen some people complain but they are very courteous They stop working when guests are walking through the area and they do their best to be out of there and cleaned up by the time people are usually heading to their rooms in the afternoon around 4:30 It is nice and secluded away from all touristy areas We love it here!

We have stayed at River Ranch several times and we have always had a good experience There is so much to do that everyone stays entertained Even when we were not involved in an activity, the atmosphere is so pleasant there that we enjoyed just sitting around the campfire and watching the kids play

The people there are very friendly and helpful The local store where you can pick up your Starbucks and any groceries you may need stays pretty busy The staff there maintained a very pleasant attitude even when they had a line of people The rodeo is very fun and unique We enjoyed the horseback riding, swamp buggy ride, petting zoo, skeet shooting, and archery We will definitely go back

Shane Hafner

As far as entertainment goes we had fun and there is plenty to do for a short stay A few things to watch out for and know up front Once you’re on property they know there is nothing close by so prices on everything are premium

When we showed up we were told we were VIP and we would get a free golf cart or tickets to the rodeo However, there’s a catch you have to attend a 90 min sales presentation for Westgate time share sales When I showed up for the tour my wife was attending church (Sunday morning at 9 am) and we had plans for the rest of the day, they did try to find another time, but our schedule did not allow it I offered to stay and take the tour/sales pitch (I was actually interested) they immediately used the free golf cart as collateral to get both of us in the presentation Long story short, attitudes turned sour really quick I never asked for the free golf cart and didn’t mind paying for it but the way it was handled could use a little work The paperwork did say we both had to be there in their defense, but it could have been handled a bit friendlier, I also noticed that a lot of the workers were indifferent and didn’t have the best attitudes, although there was a few folks that showed some real enthusiasm (most of the tour guides were great) I would say to Westgate they need to work on training their employees, we are paying a premium so service with a smile is expected They did end up billing me for the golf cart

Had a great time at the rodeo!! I was so engrossed with the riders, I forgot to take pictures!! It was so exciting to see the bull and bronco riders and holding your breath when they got bucked off hoping no one got hurt!! The clowns (yes, they had clowns!) did a great job protecting the riders!! They also had young ladies doing stunts on their horses

like hanging off the saddle while the horse was running around the arena!!! Another young lady rode 2 horses standing up with a foot on each horse’s back!! There was also a cowboy doing rope tricks The whole event was very patriotic from the singing of the National Anthem to riders racing around the arena with flags reading GOD BLESS THE USA!! What a night!! We ended it by listening to music in front of the saloon watching everyone line dance!! Lots of fun!!!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay right on the water Very short distance to the beach The hotel is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable

We put our breakfast order in the night before and they delivered breakfast to our door the next morning Although it was a pretty limited menu, we were surprised at how good the food was Staff was amazing Would definitely stay here again

Planned a visit for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay The location is wonderful and the rooms quite uniqueUnfortunately, our friend had arranged to prepay for most of the room fee and asked for a card to be left for us indicating the gift and wishing us a happy celebration

While the credit was apparently applied, we were unaware as the balance was billed to ‘the card on file’This made for a very awkward conversation when it was mentioned to us, as we had not been able to thank our friend properlyAs an independent inn, it’s unfortunate they couldn’t have made the small extra effort for us
