Extremely friendly staff, especially Becka walking distance to CTCA but they also provide shuttle services every 20 minutes If you are a light sleeper make sure you ask for the parking side room not the street side

Most rooms air conditioner doesn’t meet the standards of someone from Texas 🙂 The water pressure could be a bit better but overall very pleasant experience There are only three handicap spots sharing with several other businesses so expect to either be dropped off by someone caring for you or plan to walk a pretty great distance

Great location Good restaurants near by Coffee shop on site

Rooms were clean and comfortable It was quiet Good view Price was a little high in relation to accommodations, but not extremely high They also offer a chill meeting room Good for business or romantic travel But if travelling alone I would select a different hotel

It’s about a 20 min drive to Navy Boot Camp graduation If you go the opposite way, there’s a nice outdoor mall also about 20 min away The Walgreens just a few steps away was great as well as the breakfast offered

They do have a bus that takes you to the entrance for graduation From the gates to the ceremony hall it was about a 10 min walkJust ask to have your name added to the list Spent 2 nights Would recommend except our first night the iron burned my brothers pants Woke up to check out and found 2 bed bugs under the sheets and another 2 on the comforter

Arrived at the hotel in Libertyville on Thursday afternoon and needed to change the bed requestfor my room due to recent changes in travel The staff were pleasant and quick to accommodate Room was clean and plenty of towels and washcloths

We went to the pool and the water and areas were clean (and they brought us towels) Breakfast was served daily with eggs (scrambled or cheese omlette), bacon, sausage, hashbrown potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, pastries, assorted juices and coffee All was delicious They have a small store for snacks and beverages next to front deskClose to Starbucks, pub and other shops Not far from Navy graduation Highly recommend

Came into town for my sons PIR Check in process was very simple I even needed to make reservation changes during my stay because my son was getting weekend overnight liberty and we wanted to split time in the city

They waived fees and helped us with dinning options Our room was great, clean, and we loved having a full fridge, stove, and dishes to eat and hang out with family and our SR comfortably My son has A school here so we will be back to see him again and will certainly be staying here!!! Thanks for everything to the GM and Chad for all your help

Thomas Barntsen

Pros: Room was a suite with kitchenette for under $70, so it was a pretty good value It was reasonably clean, and the bed was comfortableThe breakfast was decent – all individually wrapped packaged food, like breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal

Cons: there were a couple broken alcohol bottles on the sidewalk between buildings My room also had very little soundproofing from outside noise, and the furnace was very loud, kicking on every fifteen minutes or so

Christine Canty

**update** After staying at this hotel for 22 nights (checking in and out over several weeks,) I will not earn any points or upgraded member perks, because I booked through United which was still cheaper than booking through the members website that has a discountFor work, I have stayed at several different hotels in the area I prefer this one, because this is an extended stay suite where you have a full refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, dishwasher, and kitchen with dishes

I have not had time to use the amenities Pets are accepted The rooms are not very sound proof The person on 2nd/3rd shift is super friendly and easy to talk with

We stayed there over Aug 5-6 The food was hot, staff where very nice Room had a little small but it was only when we flushed the toilet

So I believe it’s the city’s water We had a room next to the pool for the most part it was quite Pool seemed busy most of the time We never used it as to it was always busy when we where not at the Ren fair But when we booked we also didn’t book because of a pool So wasn’t that big of a deal we didn’t us it Room was clean bed/blanket where clean!

L

Breakfast was good – offering both cold and hot items – the selection was limited but filling, though we all (other guests too) had to keep asking for items as they kept running out due to having many patronsWe needed additional towels one evening, and initially were denied and told there were no towels available We desperately needed new towels (we cleaned up a spill in the room earlier in the day and now had a guest in the room physically ill from a migraine and had hoped to take a bathe/shower with a dry and clean towel) – I had to actually explain why I needed additional towels – after explaining the issue – then I given a few small towels that go on the floor to step on after a shower and were told they were hand towels – when I pointed this out – the front office clerk reluctantly and eventually were provided 2 small bath towels and he did not do so with a smile but made us feel like we were putting him out and really did not deserve the towels

Initially, he literally told us that they did not have any clean towels to give us — and this was after 9 or 10 pm I found it hard to believe that they had no clean towels in the entire hotelOur room had a bit of a musty smell, which I could have over looked, but I guess the whole towel issue and how I was treated was the finally breaking pointWe traveled over 8 hours to stay the weekend to visit a sick family member, so we were already stressed and just wanted to have some clean towels for after our showersOh, and you need to let the front office know by 8am if you will be needing any room cleaning etc We found a small piece of paper in the room on the evening of the second day – after the towel issue – stating that information So, I guess if you are staying – ask when you arrive for clean towels for the next day – just in case you need them I had no idea at 8 am that we would have a spill in the bathroom and that one of the guests in the room would develop and significant migraine

This is by far the BEST Hilton property we have visited I worked in front office hospitality for 3 years and we lodge in hotels for my husbands work often so I am usually very picky…honestly I haven’t found a single thing to critique about this property!Niki and Leo from breakfast are so delightful My two year old daughter especially loves the extra attention “Miss Niki” shows her in delivering her breakfast with love

Niki also is so friendly to every guest that comes down I never see anyone leave with a frown She has a super power of de-escalating grumpy guestsIsrael’s breakfast is on point, he makes everything fresh and as you order so everything turns out perfect every timeEveryone from the front office has also been so helpful with anything we need help with Greg has been super helpful to create an efficient check-in and helps us with securing a parking spot to charge our carCleaning staff has been on top of everything, they keep all common areas so clean and fresh I was super impressed to see that when they mop the floors, they have a second person come by to dry so no slippery floor!Great job to the hiring management for staffing this hotel Seriously, this property should be used as an example to other properties that are opening

Hampus Engstroem

Hotel was pretty good Room was standard, felt a bit aged and non-updated It was quite annoying that the restaurant wasn’t open since it stated that the hotel had an on-site restaurant when I booked it, with no mention of it being closed, and no other option close enough to walk to

The breakfast was good, except I felt like I over paid by booking a room with breakfast included as I only ate from the cold buffet, which was ~$6 a day If you’re more of a hot food (ie omelettes, pancakes, waffles, etc) breakfast person, it’s probably a good deal, as that was $14 a day if I remember correctlyOverall it was a good stay

Ashley Odett

Very pleased with my stay here March 14-15th Hotel lobby and rooms were clean and inviting Rooms have great wifi and ethernet hookups, which was convenient for both personal and business use

Staff here is excellent! They were very accommodating in the lobby area while we had a small gathering during our stay Can’t speak highly enough of the service received from the dinner/bar staff during both breakfast and dinner hours Front desk staff was also friendly and informative regarding any questions that I had during my stay I was slightly disappointed to see the pool and hot tub closed during this time for cleaning, but glad to see it was being done, and felt no inconvenience as staff had already made arrangements for guests to use these facilities at a separate hotel adjacent to the parking lot 5/5 will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the area

Stayed at this location due to its proximity to the Renaissance Faire I had booked online, informed the property I was bringing my service dog, and requested 4 extra pillows in my room (I am disabled) The pillows were not in the room

When I arrived to check in, the young man tries to charge me a pet service fee (against the company’s policy, and against ADA) I informed him you can not charge for service animals, to which he told me I still needed to sign the pet-fee paperwork agreeing to the service charge I annotated on the bottom of the paper that the animal was a service animal When the front desk gentleman saw what I had written, he told me “oh, I’m sorry You were supposed to sign the electronic version of the form instead” That form didn’t have anywhere to add in “service animal”, it just auto fills in your initials on all their pet fee agreementsOur room: the sheets had black fuzz all over them, one of the pillows had red dot stains that look like blood drops The room also smelled so strongly like mildew, it took almost 3 hours of running the AC to make it tolerableThe pool/hot tub: holy chlorine batman I think maybe a chemical test needs to run on the pool and hot tub after we were done swimming, we were so itchy from the residual chlorine left on our skin It felt like being stung by ants Even after 2 showers, it was still pretty badThe only redeeming quality this hotel has is: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! It is right in the parking lot of Gurnee Mills

Jennifer E Wilson

I am disabled and have a service dog to help with my pain I 1st went to Rodeway Inn on Green Bay Road and the desk person refused follow the ADA law for service animals even though my dog had her service tagSo I went to Comfort Inn & Suites because their price was one of the lowest in the area

Dakota was the person on night duty He was very kind & polite, a complete opposite of the other hotel He had no problem accepting my service dog & de had a 1st floor room close to the front so I didn’t have to walk farI was surprised at how nice the room was It appeared to have been updated not too long ago The furniture was all in excellent shape, had a fridge & microwave The hotel is in a busy area next to the tollway but there way no noise inside the room from all the trafficAnd the best thing about the room was the bed! It was so comfortable I usually have a difficult time sleeping at hotels because of my back pain It the bed here was excellentOver all my stay was wonderful, better than I expectedI would highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites & I will stay there again

Amazing hotel Management is so stellar ! The experience with customer service made me feel as if I was at a Four Seasons Hotel I was not expecting such a large indoor swimming pool area and the hot tub is simply massive

Love the colorful murals in the guest rooms tooWe will be returning soon

Janet Kohl

Other than the nice clerk at check in, the hotel was sub par The room did not have sheets for the couch bed and no mattress pad (unsanitary) The phone didn’t work, so we had to go get them at front desk

The shower curtain was ripped and the TV didn’t work The breakfast was a mob scene with no refills of food and coffee was empty At check out I told the new clerk and she didn’t seem to care about any of it She said the satellite dish had bad reception and some channels don’t work I told her none worked No discount offered, nor other accommodation For $220/night, plus taxes, I expect a working TV and coffee!!

Elizabeth

I called ahead and was told both rooms I booked would be ready, next to each other Checking in at 4 I was told they weren’t ready pillows on the bed looked clean, but smelled of oily sweaty heads laid on them, Garbage cans on property flowing over

Pool had several clumps of hair on the floor next to pool, dead bugs floating in the hot tub Colony of small ants in one of our rooms Other room several lamps and bathroom lights lightbulbs burnt out Spider webs in bathroom I witnessed several different people staying at the hotel complaining to the front desk, one had a water stain on the ceiling looked like possible pipe burst, another person saying they never vacuumed their room and smelt like cigarettes as they just checked into their room, and another complaining to the maids their sink was backed up This hotel is listed as a 2 star hotel, should be 1 star They are no longer called Antioch Inn, I passed the hotel up as its now called Clarion Point, no one informed me of the name change I will NOT be staying at this place EVER AGAIN!!!

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights and the kids really enjoyed this place The location is convenient right off of the expressway and the lodge was very clean Just like any other business, they are short on staff due to the lack of workers however, their customer service and patience was exceptional

We arrived early and our room was ready Yes the line to check in was long due to the mobile app being down but again, just get there early and be patient and understanding Their front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable once you check in to make sure you have all the details you need for your stayThe room was outstanding! The kids had their own cabin like area which they were super excited about and it was spacious enough for the adult section There were plenty of towels and we needed an iron which I was able to ask for through the app and they brought it right upThroughout the stay they sent chat messages asking how everything was going which I thought was great The water park was super clean and the kids loved every minute of it Super convenient to have everything on the wristband so you do not have to worry about losing anything and it was super safe and cashless All in all, if you have children 12 and under they will love this place! We cannot WAIT to go back!!

Berry Torres

Celebrated my daughters 3rd birthday here this past weekend It was a very busy Wait times for food was quite long (roughly 45-1 hour) but understandable with place being short staffed and it being a busy weekend

Food was fresh and pretty good Don’t recommend the Cesar salad Was extremely small for the price and didn’t like the Caesar dressing or the cherry tomatoes (weird for a Caesar) Drinks were great from the bar inside pool area Same bartender I’ve seen past few times we’ve gone and he’s always really great Life guards watch kids like a hawk and constantly check pools, slides and lazy river They made us feel more at ease and safe with our little ones swimming Checkin and checkout was pretty smooth Loved the birthday package we purchased and the cake was delicious Sense I’m really honest with my personal reviews, I really wanted to give 5 stars because I really like going there with my family However day of checkout, we decided to go for our last swim and grab a bite before heading out We sat on chairs close to the lazy river and I seen 2 bugs (cockroaches) scattering next to the garbage can Can say I lost my appetite and we left shortly after Still gave 4 stars for our overall experience and enjoyment prior to that

Aaron Williams

The family absolutely enjoyed every minute we were there My son loved the climbing wall and ropes course and especially the water slides My daughter turned the lazy river into the racing river

Worth every penny The new package for everyone in your room to have unlimited climbing wall, ropes course, bowling, and putt putt is a great deal Definitely plan on going back in the future

Staff was friendly, location was great, room was clean but only small complaints The room had a odor, like a moldy odor, I went to Walgreens nearby to get a candle because the odor was not pleasant One more thing was the bugs, there’s insects and bugs coming out of the heat and AC vents so I didn’t turn it on because I didn’t want to get a room full of insects

If These things improved or someone sealed the vents and cleaned out the vents, made improvements to the smell, this hotel would be great! Thank you!

I came down to visit my son and his family I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this Hotel and marina was It was clear there had been some updates made

It was clean; that is what I look at Very pleasant and accommodating staff The balcony facing the river was my happy place I even extended my stay an extra day The restaurant is closed; but there is no shortage of restaurants, bars or places to go within a short distance from the hotel

Mark Sturges

What a nice, quaint, little private owned hotel! I found this place because I had business dealings nearby I was impressed with the owner, Gary, as he was the one who took my reservation as well as checked me in upon arrival Great conversationalist

My room faced the river and was nice, clean, and comfortable, although it was a little small But I was solo so it was ok for me Even had a small balcony to step out on to watch the boats and jet-skis go by

Austin Olesak

This place has so much potential to be a booming hotel that if fixed up and ran right it could easily bring in $150 a night due to its prime location

Honest reviewPictures, signage, etc are very misleading The bed is extremely hard along with the pillows Bed feels like you’re laying on the floorCarpeting is old and has stains Water damage on the ceiling Cheap “repairs” made to the walls, ceiling, baseboards, and bathtub Water smells but it is well waterNo amenities or atleast very littlePositive sideShower pressure is strong almost overwhelming Very hot water Heat/AC works amazingly well No found smells other than the water No signs of bugs anywhere other than the occasional spider Front desk was very nice Easy after hour check in process Just call ahead and they’ll tell you what to doStayed 4 nights during a holidayWould I stay again? No and that’s mainly due to the extremely hard bed and hard pillow If the bed was more soft than I probably would stay again
