Did not really require anything much for services but employees are friendly and attentive Check in Monday and out FridayWhat I LOVED about my stay is how quiet my room was

No light seeps into the room, did not hear anyone in hallways, to the left or right My room was on 3rd (top) floor I have never slept so well at any hotelConvenient to get around, close to freeway and quick drive back to airport 5 days 4 nightsWhat I wish they would do is remove all carpet Seems someone cooked in that room and you could tell there is a bit of residual smell when you open the door

Joe Ousley

Older property that has been updated The service was top notch The location provides easy acces to the airport and Hwy 205

The room was comfortable, though the doorway made a tight fit to get to the bathroom That detail was the only drawback in the room The full kitchen had a full size refrigerator, coffee maker, stove, and microwaveThe breakfast had good offerings I do wish the coffee set up were in a different location It is next to the Very Busy waffle maker This makes it difficult during busy times to simply refill a coffee cup A bigger selection of fresh fruit would have been nice as well The oatmeal was tasty and had a wide variety of toppings The staff was very attentive, and William went above and beyond to assist my 83 year old MotherI also recommend adding EV charging stations Overall a great stay

Great place to stay Very accommodating Room was very clean

We had the two bedroom suite It was bigger than I expected Breakfast was great Good parking We had my whole family here with us and everyone had nothing but great things to say It was close enough to places to eat Right across the bridge is a Walmart Right up the road is the airport Good location! I’d definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at the hotel, it’s nice to find a hotel that accommodates our family of six in a single room The night shift front desk was super kind and helpful, amazing Hotel was clean

Breakfast not bad, had eggs, meat, cereal, muffin/bread options Only concerning part were other guests not wearing their masks but we were able to keep our distance from them without issue

Theresa McFarlane

Front desk staff is great Free breakfast is a free breakfast Not the best I’ve had at a Holiday Inn Express

Pool and ho t tub are clean but very chlorinated You do not get room cleaning unless you request it the night before The first room we had did not have a functioning deadbolt The 2nd room we had was fine The third room had a wonky fridge that only froze with no way of adjusting it Good wifi and TV Quiet hotel Safe area Towels were ripped and threadbare Vending machines are empty They have DVD for rent for free and a DVD in the room When we arrived, rooms were very clean and smelled nice For $130/night I was expecting more service

Samuel Bowers

We were not too impressed with our stay, we rarely encountered helpful staff, the rooms were in disrepair, they had no device outlets on the bed stands so I had to pull back the end tables to charge our stuff The Ac unit was not adjustable and mold in the shower

cmon we laughed each time we passed the concierge desk becuase there was never anyone standing there lastly the breakfast was cheap, low grade food For $200+ a night I expected better quality Period We won’t ever probably book a holiday Inn again

Front staff person was very courteous, and friendly Room was clean, and quiet, but that could be because it was a Wednesday night Some, minor, deferred maintenance needed, but nothing drastic

Beds were, for the most part, comfortable, but one bed was softer than the other which I thought was odd, but still happy because there was a soft bed to choose from Pool was nice Breakfast was, actually, pretty good! Would stay here again

Rachel C

I wanted to let people know the truth I am very unhappy with my stay there The room was a good size, shower was nice

Not as clean as I hopedThe most disappointing part of my stay was I got bit up by some kind of insect in the bed I couldn’t sleep right Very diappointed and sad because I was told it was a clean hotel 🙁 I will never stay there again Gonna ask for some kind of adjustmentI hope they can at least do that for meHave a blessed day!

Dana Pound

Very easy access to the I5, with many food establishments nearby Aside from the torn and dirty/stained curtains, the room was clean & bed comfy The room that the elevator is in is kind of small so if someone was waiting and someone was getting off the elevator they were kind of stepping on each other, especially if either/both had luggage

The breakfast was ok but too bad it ended at 9am On a holiday it would be nice to be able to sleep in a bit with the option of breakfast until 10am

The staff were amazing However, i was very disappointed with the state of the hotel The bar area looked nice and renovated, but the lobby was a mix of nice and falling apart and held together with duct tape

The lobby smelled like wet carpet (you know that smell when you have your capets cleaned?) The elevator was tiny and creaky Our room was worse As soon as we opened the door we were hit with a nasty smell It was bad The room was good sized, but the smell made it hard to even want to go in My son was excited about sleeping on the pull out sofa so one of the first things he did was pull it out There was black mold on the mattress And the armrests of the couch were worn off We didn’t even get our luggage off the cart before walking out They didn’t have any other rooms that size so we ended up canceling our stay and finding a new hotel The staff were very kind about it and even helped us find another place to go They were wonderful But I definitely would recommend going somewhere else

Taura Parchman

We asked SEVERAL times for more toilet paper for three hours

They told us to come pick up at the front desk instead of bringing to our door We explained we are having a medical procedure done and can’t leave the room and she kept saying there was no one to bring it Even when two hours ago someone was coming off from lunch and it would have been delivered at that point Now, there is no one, they’ve all gone home I’ve informed her it’s an emergency since they only supplied us with two half rolls and no spares It’s ridiculous we have to beg for toilet paper This is a Hilton hotel, correct? I’m confused Had better one on one with maintenance at lower class hotels Scary

Les Day

I had a pleasant stay My room was clean and kept up The only thing I noticed was that the couch was worn

However, the room was comfortable and so was the bed and pillows The staff seamed friendly There are plenty of places to eat in the immediate area Unfortunately I did not partake in the breakfast as I was gone everyday before they served I would stay here again

You ever go somewhere and feel right at home from the beginning to the end? Yes! That’s exactly how I felt The staff was amazing! Front desk always accommodated me really well! And the housekeepers never missed a beat! My room was always cleaned really well and smelled really fresh Everyone here was amazing, even maintenance! I swear he had the job of many and still managed to fix things in such a timely manner! This was by far the best hotel stay I have ever had

During Nurse’s week, the staff got each of the nurses staying in the hotel a little gift of appreciation! How thoughtful! & One night during my stay, I had to leave for the airport at 8 am and Stacy, the front desk, walked me out to my car because it was still dark and I was alone Just two of the many situations where their kindness and hospitality outshined Thank you Sonesta on 41st for being so amazing to us!

Maxx M.

This is a cool place for the price It’s old and the gates are shaky The outlets aren’t updated with USB ports nor were there any to be found

The reason 5 stars is Nikki To beat the heat I got a room because of the pool I was able to lounge while my room was being ready Then when it was, Nikki came out to the pool with my room key and parking pass She was very friendly and above and beyond on accommodating meThe King suite I got is about the size of an apartment in Portland for $2500 It’s spacious and cozy at the same time I am a writer who lives beside noisy neighbors So I will likely retreat here on some weekendsCustomer service means more to me than newer amenities

Andrew Manwaring

Stayed here a few months for an internship The staff was incredible and always very helpful By the end of the summer we were on a first name basis with all the staff and felt right at home

Great place to stay for the short term or even just a few nights! I was able to cook in the kitchen for myself every night on the stove

Great place to stay during your travels It is nice to have a homey, comfortable place to stay The beds are comfortable, kitchen was clean

The room seemed about half way updated It could have used a tiny bit more attention to detail from what I normally expect from the Hilton brand However, nothing to sway me away from staying here The hallways did however feel like walking through an assisted living facility The smell in the building was just sort of stale It could definitely use some new carpet A remodel of fresh paint, etc however, I will say, this place is definitely a decent place to stay Also, while not a great selection of wine these two they have are delicious! Nice buttery Chardonnay and a good dry cab Would recommend 9/10, would stay here again

I picked this place for our girls trip to Portland since we wanted a fun place to stay It looked cute in the photos and all was well after booking I checked the website when we landed in Portland to see what time we could check in and it was not until 3pm so we decided to go explore since we couldn’t check in

I got a call later from the owner asking what time we would be there and this was at around 1pm I was confused but was told that she would leave a key in a spot for usWhen we arrived there was not a lot of street parking but after stalking a car we found a spot in front of the house The outside is really cute with a great porch Inside is kind of an adventure Great vintage pieces and good Victorian accentsI asked the owner of there was anyone else staying the night we were and she said all but one room was full! We decided to haul our luggage upstairs to our room and check it out The shared shower room upstairs was pretty dirty! There was dirt and ants in the shower and small black hairsWe got back from dinner at 8pm and literally the house was dark There was no one there We tried finding a glass for water and found that the kitchen was barricaded with something behind the door stopping us from going in thereWhen we woke up the next morning, still no one was there I just wish the owner would have called us and told us we were the only ones there for security and safety reasonsI would not stay here again

The agents at front desk both day and night are great I was impressed with their helpfulness and their friendly personalities during our stayThey told me breakfast was served at 630 am, but it was out by 6am, impressed since I’m an early riser

The breakfast choices need improved Coffee is always available as wellThe only downsides to this place is the bed was not good, and lots of traffic noise, bring earplugs if your a light sleeper like myselfWould stay again if ever in Vancouver again

Jennifer Chu

Stay at this location for one night I only gave it a two stars because the room was not clean and the breakfast was terrible The shower wall had some hair from the prior guest that was not cleaned

The carpet had not been vacuumed The breakfast offered at this location lacks of quality and the coffee tasted like a color waterI would not recommend this hotel to my friends at all

Lavenita Moala

I would put 5 star if this was for the front desk named Ashley She is super attentive! I have never had a request be completed in such a timely manner as she has She’s definitely a great asset to the company! She is also very kind & her tone of voice matches her passion in customer service

My family took a overnight staycation just so my kids can swim in the pool! The pool & hot tub was honestly super dirty & needs attention A bit on the more chlorinated side too Other than that, our room was comfortable & spacious! Breakfast was ok Would be nice to add another waffle maker to speed up on traffic for that The only reason I went down a star was because of the pool ! I can’t get over how wonderful & caring Ashley was! Super rare to find those ones who go above & beyond to help us enjoy our time away from home

Nice place I am familiar with this chain and use them often They are reliably clean and comfortable at a reasonable price

This location, at least our room 201, needed some inspection and fixes The smoke detector was gone and just wires hanging from the ceiling Most of the electric outlets allowed a lot of play on the plugs, making them wiggly and not reliably work We had to move the coffee maker to the desk to get it to work We only had soft pillows on the bed My experience is firm and soft, they are even labeled We didn’t ask about it as we got in really late from our event that we were staying for and hadn’t noticed until we were climbing into bed Will return and continue using this chain, but be a little more vigilant and firm about my expectations This location seemed to be a one off from the others that I have stayed at

Kyra Friga

We booked the executive double queen room and we were pleasantly surprised The room was the perfect size for us The pool was clean and the hot tub worked well

The lobby was very clean and also super cozy with seating and a nice fireplaceThe staff was super friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond! They got us water and extra pillows without hesitation, (I’m pregnant and need all the pillows)Our daughter left her most special stuffy in our room after we checked out and drove almost 8 hours home I called the following day and the GM Diane eagerly worked with us to get it shipped back to our home!! She was so helpful and kind We recommend this hotel 10/10 Would stay again without question, if we travel back to this area!

Matt McGill

Had a great stay here Excellent interactions with front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crewBlocked out group of rooms, front desk super helpful with logistics

Housekeeping kept us stocked with extra towels after all the pool timeStandout was Kimberly from the kitchen staff We’re stayed at several Holiday Inns with same breakfast buffet, but none with someone who cared so much about the guest, from friendly greetings to always refilling what’s needed at the perfect timeOur dance company had to leave for competition before breakfast opened, and Kimberly packed to-go bags for all the kids Above and beyond, can’t recommend moreGreat location and pool was good too!!

By far, the best Residence Inn I’ve stayed inIncredibly friendly staff, hard working housekeepers and breakfast personnelTowels available everytime I went to gym or pool

Gym does need to replace 1 treadmill that was out of service for monthsI was always greeted; well maintained property

ken erickson

We have stayed there twice this year It is close to things we need to do and having a kitchen area is great if you don’t want to go out to eat all the time They serve a GREAT FREE breakfast every day

Exercise room and pool are available There is even a gas firepit outside for evening conversation area, and they have BBQ grill available if you want to do some grilling This is our “go to” place to stay in the area

Tommy Pounds

We really like this hotel We stayed here a year ago for three weeks and loved it We went there again for a little staycation and now they charge $5 for parking, which they did not do last year

It is a Residence Inn parking lot Why would you charge for parking, add the price to hotel if you need to make more money The hotel is great and the staff are very nice, but charging for a surface parking lot where you are located is not a great business practice I could see charging if they could charge others for parking like a parking garage, but not a suburban hotel

It’s a great place Food is good and booze is better If you plan on coming here just be very patient

The service can be very slow Not a place for anyone in a hurry It’s a very laid back kind vibe Don’t be surprised if you have to track down your server after 2 hr to pay your bill But if have a day with nothing planned and want an amazing environment definitely worth the trip

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itGreat spot to spend a few hours Fun to explore the building and various bars Loved the gift shop Drink menu was great The grounds were beautiful and the history of the building was interesting We didn’t eat there but was within walking distance of some cool restaurants

Albert Craig

My wife and I came to relax and enjoy our 1 year anniversary We arrived around 12:30 pm

and from the reviews we read ( the reviews said to expect a long wait for service) figured we would grab something to eat and by the time we were done it would be check in time at 3 We were seated, served and full by 1:30 Next we decided to take a stroll through the neighborhood as the weather was nice, it was peaceful and history to be seen if you take your time and look Ran across a nice little herbal medicinal shop ( for those 21 and up) a couple blocks up and scored some really nice smelling scented candles from the glass shop next door We made it back to the hotel around 2 stopped at the front desk to see if they did early check-in and was in the room by 2:15 The room was clean and comfortable and the movie theater well, it was a pleasant and very comfortable experience and a good movie Well let’s just say this was most definitely a good experience that I’m glad we have

Overall this hotel is very well kept The staff are all friendly and courteous The room I was in seemed a little cramped

Which I understand, you make smaller rooms to fit more so you can hold more guests The shower was also very compact, I’m a big person so maneuverability is huge for me This hotel is located in a concrete jungle with a lot of street parking That alone makes navigating in and out a little difficult Their parking is $10/day and located underneath the building When there are a lot of guests it’s hard to get in and out of the spots down there The pool only goes 4 feet deep and shallow end is 3’6″ The hot tub was pretty nice though Food was amazing, I recommend the flatiron steak Everything I had there was amazing but the steak topped it all Personally, I’m not a fan of the flatiron cut but they make it work The steak is $25 and comes with broccoli and mashed potatoes

Rachel B.

Overall my stay was good compared to your average hotelStaff – 5/5 Seriously, incredibly nice folks that are understanding and helpful They were nice enough to help me out when my flight got delayed

Hotel amenities – 5/5 pretty standard stuff The Gym had some good equipment Love the fire pit outside The food was acceptable The pool was over-chlorinated as to be expectedHotel room -5/5 The room overall was spotless I should know I went around the entire room with lysol wipes, just as a precaution Everything was clean including the remote, switches, coffee pot, closet door handles, etcHotel room bathroom 2/5 My only gripe was the bathroom, specifically the shower It had rust stains and foreign hairs (ie not mine) While it was clean i did recoil at showering until I got flip flops at the store it’s one of those things that CAN be fixed or cleaned and had i not been so tired i would have asked for another room the first night

Doug Pace

The area appears nice, with newer buildings and the property looks out onto the river with a wonderful veranda Staff was polite!

but that’s where the good stops Rooms were dated, can’t open the refrigerator very well because the cabinet door hits the bed, elevator is super slow, homeless living in cars along the street (which is a dead end by the way), police have to come and deal with homeless, you have to pay to park, well it’s not forced on you to pay for the parking but in light of the people living on the streets it’s safer than parking along the sidewalk Homeless camp just down the street on Marine Dr that was one of manyfreeway entrance had quite the collection as wellWe’d never stay here again! Gets 2 stars mostly for the view of the river on the veranda

Stayed in a 1 king room on the top floor There was a small refrigerator and a microwave The view from the window was unobjectionable

The room had adequate space, was clean, and everything was in good working order The hotel is close to many restaurants and stores but probably not walking distance for most peopleespecially since there was heavy rain the entire week There was adequate free parking during our entire stayBreakfast was included in the typical Hampton style The were 2 make it yourself waffle machines and a rotating selection of hot foods like eggs and bacon The breakfast attendant was constantly out there cleaning tables and maintaining the breakfast area There is a well stocked little store next to the front desk with snacks, drinks, and other things you might have forgotten at home It also had a selection of local wineFinally, it is relatively easy to get to the airport About a 20 minute drive during non rush hour traffic

The best hotel! From the moment i arrived Robert made me feel so welcome and he made sure we had everything we needed All of the staff from the beginning of our trip till the end made it so welcoming The breakfast was absolutely delicious and gourmet

From the rotation of daily made items to the selection available We were traveling as a family with a little one and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable Hands down the best place i have stayed

We were in town to see family for a graduation The rooms were larger than expected and had plenty of room for our family Last minute we changed reservations from the BW down the street because it did not offer a breakfast for the same price

This hotel breakfast was one of the best we have experienced and the kids certainly took full advantage The gym also had a large assortment of free weights and cardio equipment so we were able to keep up with our routines Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town

This is now my go to hotel when I’m in town visiting my kids The service and workers were FANTASTIC!! In fact, they are the very reason I will go here exclusively Plus, the cost was VERY reasonable

My kids, grandkids, and I loved the swimming pool and hot tub This was the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had at a hotel I HIGHLY recommend Quality Inn Salmon Creek over any other hotels in the area But make sure you go to the one in Salmon Creek I cannot speak for other Quality Inn’s in the area

It’s the cheapest in the area for a reason We were in town for one night to attend a wedding and just needed a place to sleep My boyfriend booked it because it had good reviews and I didn’t think to look at the hotel he chose before going

Upon arrival, I realized we’d be staying at an outdated, dingy place so I had low expectations From the lobby to the room, it was rough Old furniture and carpet, cheap finishes, unattractive bedding and blinds Oh well, it’s an inn But what I didn’t expect was to find someone’s DIRTY UNDERWEAR?! We spent about 5 minutes in the room after arriving to change before heading to the wedding, and when I was looking in the entry mirror the reflection revealed something colorful up on the shelf above the hanging rack I got closer and, sure enough, a pile of dirty underwear was there Nasty First and last time staying at an inn for me

Staff was very kind Rooms were nice and clean a little dark (lack or lighting) the upstairs upon arriving smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, after letting the front desk staff know they sprayed air freshener but it was strong enough that my husband ended up opening both windows in the hallway upstairs to air it outPool and spa are closed due to some sort of work

The parking lot is a pain to get into, you have to make a u-turn if your coming from south up 205

Absolutely awful Stayed here because of an insurance claim Never again

First, they charged me the wrong amount for the security deposit ($350 instead of $100) When I brought this to their attention the front desk couldn’t cancel the transaction and my card was already in their card reader He claimed the transaction was “cancelled” and charged me AGAIN for the correct amount of $100 I look at my bank statement and both transactions were there After getting hotel management involved and after contesting the charge with my bank I was finally able to get a refund hours later That’s before we even got to our roomRoom was dirty Dirt caked in the corners of the ceiling Upstairs toilet clogged constantly Upstairs bathroom shower hardly drained Loud, obnoxious screaming from guests throughout all hours Pool was slimey The room service doesn’t pick up the trash for days Parking is awful, as half the spots are for compacts so if you have a full sized car good luck Shampoo containers in the shower were never refilled

My husband and I stayed two nights here and explored the Vancouver/Portland area The hosts were gracious, kind, and very helpful in getting us settled and showing us fun things to do on vacation We enjoyed a large, homemade breakfast every morning, our room was cozy and quiet, and the entire house was so beautifully decorated and romantic

We also loved the garden that wrapped around the house and onto the back patioThere’s restaurants on the waterfront within a 10 minute walk and all our adventures in Portland were only a 15 drive away from the B&B If you are in the area this is the best place to stay for it’s affordability, the ambiance, and intimate charm 🙂

Susie and Ted are first-rate Hosts who think of many extras that make the Briar Rose a wonderful choice for a Vancouver stay The home is decorated from bottom to top in a Victorian style and the beds are dream-inducing Ted’s breakfasts are truly memorable and filling, and his stories are a treat too

The location is convenient to Downtown and the new Waterfront area In fact, I walked to two great restaurants, and saw many others in my explorations

Freedom Time

We booked a king room for my daughter but she got sick and could not fly, so we decided to stay there with my grandson The hotel was able to change our room from a king to two queen beds with no extra charge The room was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable

It was hot and the AC worked great Check in was easy and the staff was friendly Breakfast was bacon, eggs, waffles, lots to choose from and all very good Good coffee too so we never went to the Dutch Brothers right next door The pool and hot tub were clean and my grandson really enjoyed swimming in the pool We had no complaints and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in Battleground

Booking fooled us… We thought it was gonna be a nice couple room with jacuzzi, We open door and NOT… We get a great room for a single traveler only 3 small pillows one recliner, could have locked myself in my bedroom a lot cheaper 😡On a god noteThe Clerk at desk was super nice, and mirror in bathroom is fancy

William Roberts

Went here to celebrate my birthday with my wife away from the kids And the room shared a wall with the elevator and it was very loud going up and down ALL NIGHT LONG! It was very distracting and we got no sleep, nobody told us about this and it completely ruined our experience! We are NOT satisfied with our experience We paid 200+ for a king suite with jacuzzi tub to celebrate and relax

It was COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF THAT IT WAS HORRIBLE! We booked online and at check in my wife even asked the lady is it a jacuzzi tub room? Is it nice? Was told yes and QUIET! I DONT KNOW WHAT QUIET MEANS TO HER BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT VERY upset Best western is our go to place, this was worst experience ever I have videos of this atrocious noise that happened every 5 minutes allnightLONG ROOM 206 DONT BOOK!!
