Cute, quaint, old building Delicious food The breakfast is *really* good

Great baconTouristy as all get out though, and priced as expected If they renamed it “New Mexico Land,” you’d know exactly what you were gettingThey give you an adorable bear on your pillow I brought mine home to my wife and she loves it That touch won the 5 star rating from me

Lindsey Buffamante

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Loretto Inn & Spa The staff was professional, attentive, sweet and super helpful We met for a last minute girls trip from all over the country and did minimal planning

The staff went above and beyond to help us plan and enjoy our stay The hotel was beautiful, clean, a short walk to a bunch of great restaurants and has an amazing breakfast We can’t wait to come back with the whole family

Anthony Rinella

Ate at the restaurant, the hotel as we walked through looked very nice There was a hand full of cool little shops within the hotel as we walked to the restaurant The location was outstanding so was the valet area at the hotel

The Inn is literally within the center of everything Santa Fe If we ever visited Santa Fe again the Inn & Spa at Loretto would definitely be at the top of the list for places to stay It’s a very nice property from what we saw

We had another pleasant stay at this wonderful hotel in Santa Fe last month It was beautifully decorated for Christmas time But the best part of the hotel is the staff

We were particularly pleased with the welcoming front desk, especially with Aspen She was just a delight and very helpful to us We love the little perks of hot chocolate and candy canes put out for guests as well as the Ortiz for a bite or a wonderful cocktail We love to stay here when we are in town!

Dr Rad Dan

The Santa Fe Hilton is a nice hotel offering a clean room with a comfortable bed at a very reasonable price I stayed there for three nights and had one problem, burned out light bulbs, which were fixed immediately by the hotel maintenance person The Ortiz restaurant attached to the hotel was a nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal

My only negative comment would be the decor Trying to adhere to a Southwest theme, the rooms and hallways are tones of brown, mostly dark Though using LED lights, the hotel chose warm tone, yellow, lights which only add to the dark enclosed feeling If and whenever they remodel, the rooms and hallways definitely should lean to the whites, blues, turquoise, and red pinks to brighten things up A switch to the cool blue lights would help as well This would definitely help the experience of staying there As is, it’s okay for a business traveler, like me, but not someplace I’d stay for vacation

Bruce S

This property is a 2-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star hotel If you are looking for customer service look elsewhere We stayed here last Saturday

The hallways are long and dark Although the beds were comfortable, the service was very poor In the morning they offer complementary coffee service, but it took over a half hour to get creamer The housekeeping staff started knocking on our door at 8:30am then again at 9:30am even though checkout was posted as NoonYou will pay an additional $22 per day for parking plus tax and parking requires a room key They make a big deal of offering complementary ice (really) Breakfast is also billed separately

Very clean, quiet rooms, courteous staff I have stayed in many different hotels in all areas of the US but this on was perhaps the cleanest Lobby, elevators and room

Even the bathroom and tub were exceptionally clean and the room had none of that “hotel” smell Also very quiet The restaurant bar was pleasant but overpriced for ordinary food Garage attendants were prompt A great bargain for convenience to the heart of Santa Fe Worth being your first choice

Tyler Loeffler

Very conveniently located, but the rest was honestly a disappointment Started with making the reservation Made it online directly on their website, and once completed no confirmation email was sent

Had to call and confirm it went through (it had) and confirm my email was entered correctly originally (it was)My wife and I arrived the day of our reservation at 5:30 pm (15 hours after checking began) to be told our room was not ready The front desk offered an apology and to hold our luggage which was kind The room was ready about 30 min later, which gave us just enough time to get ready for 7pm dinner reservations so no harm no foulRoom was not what I expected for the price Wall covering peeling off in the bathroom, what I presume was a soda was splatted on the wall, door on the dresser covering the mini fridge would not close so was alway in the way in the walk way, door to the shower would not close and allowed water to escape on the floor when used, and only one spa robe provided in the room Our room was off the pool and had a private seating area which was very nice!Pool and hot tub area were very nice and well looked after There is a bar by the pool, and you can bring your drinks into the pool and hot tubs which is nice However you cannot bring in outside drinks which we did not know (and in hindsight just feels like a ploy to make more money off you) We were asked to bring our drinks back to our room by a polite employee who also warned he would get in trouble if security saw us I immediately brought our drinks back to the room and went back to the hot tub with my wife A few minutes pass and security comes to very obviously check on us The only other people in the pool area was a couple in the hot tub next to us (who told us they brought their own drinks in Starbucks cups) but security did not even look at them, staring just at us The next 20 minutes security hovered over us, leaving and coming back several times We got uncomfortable by this and we left the pool area and did not returnMy wife got a message at the spa and enjoyed it! The lobby space and hallways are clean and very charming But overall I found the negatives outweighed the positives There are several other hotels and spas in the area, and we will be trying a different one next time

We have stayed in the Chaco Hotel in Albuquerque which we love and wanted to stay in more of the Heritage locations This location is not as new as the Chaco but meets all the expectations of a high end hotel, from finer finishes, beautiful craftsmanship, clean environment and friendly caring staff The location is superb with all the attractions surrounding the hotel just steps away from the front door

We did encounter some issues but Roosevelt, a member of the team, was quick to respond to our concerns and confirmed we chose the right place for our stay! We also had an incredible time at the Agave restaurant and bar watching the Stanley cup, while enjoying some cocktails and food

David Zang (Rvdavid)

I like this place and I agree with some one star rating in the comment It is not a typical hotel you are looking for – if you bring that big city expectation here you will end with disappointment I love this place at lot because it reminds me the old county (in many ways) where I cannot and will not go back due to various reasons

The hotel is old – but both my wife and I enjoyed it because of comfort, simple, quiet, and quaint We had a bottle of wine after a long drive from Dallas – and we absolutely loved it

Boris Baliner

Although the stay is on the expansive side, with the additional $30/person for “continental breakfast” , you can’t call it that1The first morning the breakfast consisted of just a bagel or plain English muffin

The toaster didn’t work2 Second morning the breakfast was frozen vending machine style English muffin or frozen small burrito the toaster still didn’t workThe only consumable part of breakfast was coffee For $30/person/dayAdditionally there was no room service , the room was not cleaned at all

Karen Goedert

Very poor service They didn’t return my call two days prior to our stay regarding the length of our stay No on-site services were opened (piano bar, breakfast, front desk) even though we were told they would be open and were charged the resort fee for the services as well as charged for one full night of lodging that we did not stay for

Dirty room and the neighbors left their dog in the room for hours barking We didn’t take our dog as we were told we weren’t allowed to leave the dog in the room! Sadly overall it was a very bad experience that the manager could have easily made better for us They really didn’t care

This place is just a few minutes walk from the Plaza and all the shops and restaurants! I valet parked my car and never needed it the whole 3 nights I was there The staff here is so friendly and helpful The rooms are outdoors for the most part so keep that in mind in bad weather

They will bring your luggage to your room for you if needed, but you will have to walk outside to get to your room I love the old building details My room didn’t have much privacy in that it looked out onto a courtyard and a parking lot, but there were blackout curtains which blocked about 75% of the light in the AM The bathroom was ok but small The water was hot with decent water pressure I enjoyed the mini fridge but missed a microwave even if it was just to warm up my coffee There was a safe available if needed The only real complaint I had was that I was woken up by the plumbing in the room next door every morning at 5 AMit was super loud and I am a hard sleeper I guess that is part of staying in a centuries old building 🙂 In all I probably would not have stayed here if I hadn’t found such a huge discount online It is close to everything but not super extraordinary for the normal room rate

Lisa Noble

I knew when I got out of the car and smelled wonderful pinion wood smoke that I was in for a real New Mexico experience The hotel just kept excellingIt was a joy to be served by this excellently trained staff

EVERY employee I interacted with was friendly and personable from each valet to the front desk, restaurant and bar Breakfasts were top notchIt was quite a refreshing experienceLocation is a block from the plaza, but if you want to venture further they offer a free shuttle Five stars

Lisa Brown

I love staying here! The service is excellent The rooms are great!! Very comfortable, plenty of room The bar on site is cozy, perfect for winding down

Beautiful grounds too to walk around Location is perfect Can walk easily to the square and also get up to the ski mountain easily A nice little perk is they have coffee, tea, AND hot chocolate in the lobby- complete with tasty stuff to put in it!

We absolutely loved our relaxing private pool experience here! My girlfriend and I drove to Santa Fe from Denver in 2021, but did not stay at the on-site lodging (so I cannot accurately comment on the rooms) However, I can comment on the private pool, which was Fantastic! As you can see from my attached photos, the pool itself was long and luxurious Being tall, it was nice that I could fully stretch out fully

There was also a traditional coal-fire sauna included in the room, which we thoroughly enjoyed Additionally, there were private bathrooms and showers, and a sitting / lounging area with an open view of the beautiful nature surrounding, and a pitcher of ice cold drinking water was providedWe were a bit unsure how it would play-out during COVID times, but the grounds were clean and regularly disinfected, and the staff at 10,000 Waves were professional and helpful in clearly explaining the rules to us when we arrivedI would definitely like to return again and recommend 10,000 Waves for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

Andi Moore

Amazing! We stayed in 1/2 moon which had a private courtyard and was off the main path, meaning no one walking by your room to go to the spa/dinner The room was lovely and they had a nice little set up for our dog It’s also next to a small parking lot which is great for loading in/out of the car

Nice amenities in the room like robes, wet bar, fridge, coffee/tea and home made granolaYes, it is a little tricky to find the entrance to the spa to check in when you first arrive (they could have a few more arrows), but after that the rest is easy We enjoyed the large soaking pool many times The restaurant is not to be missed We will be back!

Christie Ervin

A day here was a gift from my son and his partner and what a lovely gift it was! The grounds and architecture are a feast for the eyes, beautiful and relaxing The food at the restaurant (at my awesome server’s suggestion, I had the cucumber avocado salad – oh wow!) The environment in the spa is so beautiful and conducive to relaxation and the massage therapist I saw provided the best massage I’ve ever had

Highly recommend Kala If you have a chance to get to this spa, allow yourself a full day, you’ll be glad

Great stay and amenities The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable The location is great, right near the rail yards district

The free shuttle that took you anywhere within a mile radius was a huge plus Especially since it was a vintage UK taxi We loved the guy that played the flute on Thursday evening Overall, a great value and a bit quirky in all the right ways We did not eat at the hotel because there were so many other amazing restaurants around the corner

Raven Crow (CactusC)

I’d like to acknowledge Kevin at the front desk for his great personality and hospitality The hotel was very peaceful and comfortable, with a laid-back vibe The room was clean and the towels were exceptional

We utilized the free shuttle which was prompt, convenient and friendly Our requests were graciously accommodated We would definitely stay here again!

Wish I could leave no stars We have stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe almost every year since 1993A few years back they offered a really low package rate but refused to honor it, saying I had called past the 72 hour deadline

That wasn’t true but since the pandemic was rearing, I let it go and we didn’t travel anywhere for some time Wanting to stay there this year, I called to make reservations with an unpleasant woman who wasn’t well trained on the room types that I am very familiar with I was becoming frustrated and said that maybe after decades of multiple stays there, we would need to look elsewhere for lodging She promptly hung up on me I was shocked and called back to get her name I filled out a complaint on their website and received a call a few days later where I learned, as I suspected, she didn’t give me her correct name I am afraid that the manager responding to my complaint thought I was trying to get the same discount offered years ago This wasn’t the case, I was just explaining another unpleasant experience They have seen the last of us and I sincerely hope they are able to put hospitality back into the hospitality industry as it was a really great hotel and we have fond memories of our many stays there

Wow!! We got a last minute deal at this hotel and I didn’t know what to expect as I was not the one who made the booking I was so surprised at the beauty of the place when we pulled up The luminarias all around at Christmas time were perfect

On top of that everyone at the front desk was beyond helpful and kind Check in with smooth and we stayed in a small room with a private entrance The decor was beautiful and the amenities were well above average We utilized the hot tub which was outside and quite nice Would stay again in a heartbeat

We met Corey, the manager, as we were checking in The room we had prebooked was very nice, but Corey was kind enough to show us a room that had a fireplace We liked it even more, so we were given that room

It was wonderful! Corey was so warm, friendly, and personable, as was each and every staff member we encountered It felt so comfortable, and relaxing,, like we were with familyOur experience was even more delightful when we headed down for breakfast the following morning The buffet style was beautifully presented, and better than any restaurant in Santa Fe I have never taken the time to write a hotel review, but this experience was truly extraordinary, and deserves to be complimented Best hotel experience I have had in years Well done !!!!

Outstanding amenities all the way around! The room was large and comfortable with a large bathroom and wonderful shower I have not yet gone into the indoor pool or outside area, but it looks very nice The gym is the best I’ve seen at a hotel

Equipment is in good order and variety of machines On-site laundry machines that accept credit cards Breakfast includes hot options (eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal) every morning plus other things There is always fruit infused water and coffee/tea available They set out cookies at night to munch on The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful My room was cleaned without having to ask them I know this is a strange thing to mention, but they have the nicest stairwells if you don’t want to use the elevator

Susan Giusti

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now and both times were good experiences The hotel is nice with big bathrooms and comfortable beds Both times I stayed I needed something special for breakfast and they happily were able to accommodate

The first time I stayed, the coffee/tea station had a variety of black and herbal teas, however this time they only had basic black tea I asked the desk and they said they didn’t have anything else Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay here in the future

Jessica Brown

Hotel is really nice with updated features throughout Nice open seating area where they serve breakfast in the mornings Always had coffee and hot water served by the front desk

Private booths off to the side of coffee area Gym is AWESOME with tons of options for equipment, definitely not what you would expect at a hotel Beds were super comfortable with tv in great view The cons were the fireplace outside did not work most of the time, there were a trail of ants near the laundry room, and the pool was closed the entire month we stayed there due to “construction,” even though we never saw anything change

A too short weekend stay made us Inn of the Governors fans for life! After a very rude experience attempting to book at our previous favorite (and very expensive) hotel in SF, I called Inn of the Governors and was greeted cheerfully, booked the nights we wanted, discussed available rooms and amenities (free parking, free breakfasts, $15 discount in restaurant) On arrival our room was spotless and very large and comfortable We enjoyed the balcony and the sunsets

We really felt we were in Santa Fe Every staff member was friendly, helpful and fun, from the desk, housekeepers, doorman and the restaurant staff The welcome gift of sherry, fruit and nuts and cookies was a treat Breakfast on chilly mornings in front of a roaring firedelicious! Food at lunch was also excellent The hotel was an easy walk to most place we wanted to visit and the blooming trees outside lifted our spirits Really folksjust go! Can’t wait to return

Mikkel R. Jakobsen

We stayed for two nights at the Inn and highly recommend the place The rooms are well maintained and furnished We appreciated the fairly silent a/c and comfortable beds

Breakfast in the Del Charro was included and it was excellent with a selection of made-to-order plates! Enjoyed the heated pool only once because it rained most of the time We were challenged parking our large rental SUV where most of the spaces are rather small, but we were helped to a large space Overall staff were really helpful And of course the location close to the plaza can’t be beat

Karen Beasley

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Inn of the Governors in Santa Fe We had the most wonderful time at this lovely hotel From the moment we arrived and were greeted by James (who went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home), we just knew we made the right choice

We were immediately made to feel welcome and we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean, parking was a breeze, and the location is in the heart of everything We were able to walk to most things on our to do list Every employee we came in contact with was friendly, accommodating, and welcoming So looking forward to a return visit to Santa Fe and the Inn of the Governors will be our go to hotel for all future visits

Very calm and relaxing Top quality hotel with great staff, specially Lynn at the reception Location cannot be better

If you are looking to mentally and physically rest, this is the right place The food is incredibleThe calm energy is amazing Improvements: 1 Gym needs some work Some machines were not working and there was no water 2 Pool is great, but the structure that holds the huge bubble roof is old and rusty Looks scary it can break 3 The Spa was not incredible and the prices were excessive 4 Outside gardens and nearby areas look quite ugly Not sure if it is the season, but I’m sure it can be improved With all of this, I highly recommend this hotel

I had previously visited the hotel and had a great experience about two years ago So I had no issue booking this hotel again This time the experience was nothing like the last stay

Check in time is at 4pm We arrived around 1:30pm hoping to get our room early No, the room was not available yet and had not been cleaned We went back out and came back to the hotel at 3pm Again the room was not cleaned and not available While I was standing in the lobby several other guests were experiencing the same thing – no the rooms are not available until 4pm Some people had been waiting in the lobby for several hours There was an angry group at this point The front desk woman was rude every time I asked if my room was ready I was never treated like a guest who paid money, just a nuisance to her At 4pm all the keys were handed out to a bunch of angry people Since my room was located in the back building, we had to exit the hotel and re-enter the hotel at the back building Of course, my new keys were not programmed for the back hotel Back to the front desk I go to interact with the rude clerkSecond day I was there, the room key would not work at the back building Apparently it was only programmed for one day Back to the front desk again to be handled by another rude employeeWhile there I asked if I could purchase bottled water somewhere since there is none in the room Nope, no bottle water in the building anywhereThis was a horrible experience mainly because of the staff Rude and somewhere they were rooted on handing out the room keys at 4pm and not a minute earlier Of course we could tell our room had been ready prior to 4pm because the maid cart was down at the end of the hallHorrible hotel due to staff Never going back

The location was wonderful The room was quite comfortable The front desk staff was delightful; however, struggling with bags up and down 2 flights of slippery wooden stairs in the pouring rain was something I didn’t plan for

in fact, it was impossible to even get out of the room without getting soaked, but the courtyard layout was charming and I’m sure it’s lovely in better weather

Great hotel and very nice staff The only thing is that we had a staircase going down to the lower level right in the middle of our room, there were two back doors at the end of the stairs, kinda creepy at night lol It would be nice if there was something like a baby/pet gate to help prevent you from possibly falling since the staircase was just steps away from the entrance

Other than that, great experience

Michael Hirshfield

The junior suite is small and you may want to upgrade if you are looking for additional space As soon as you walk in, the door nearly hits the TV The living room has a love seat that would fit two small adults as well as a connected seat that might fit a child

The bedroom with a king size bed is spacious and has plenty of room to roam The bathroom is super kitschy green tile from the ’60s and tiles with animals inlaid That said, the location could not be better if you want to stay around the plaza Sadly, the bar closes at 10:00 on a Friday night so don’t expect a late night cap

The property was very charming and quaint, not at all what you would think a “motel” might be Cookies and tea were a nice treat to arrive to at the front desk after traveling all day too! The location was very convenient as well You can take a 10 minute walk to the main square area, Whole Foods and restaurants or a super short drive to these areas

The rooms were nothing fancy but clean and roomy, I stayed in the king kitchenette room The front desk staff was super nice, had great recommendations for restaurants and gave me all the extra coffee pods I asked for However, I think there were a few things that could be updated in the rooms the shower never really got hot but just warm enough to shower, which was disappointing The throw rugs in the rooms seemed clean but were shabby and would make the room look cleaner if removed The bedding was quite worn as well All white bedding without the worn grey fleece blanket, throw pillows and blue quilt would definitely make the bed more inviting and cleaner looking Overall, this was a comfortable and affordable place to stay compared to many other accommodations in the area

Isabel Martinez

It is a beautiful property, love the location and it was super super clean The room had everything we needed: Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash dish soap, kitchen essentials, tea and coffee The only thing I feel they need to improve on is their breakfast

For breakfast they had Bananas, oranges, apples, cookies, coffee and tea I also did not like that I texted the manager as suggested on the welcoming info if we had any questions and received no response Despite calling the front desk before and no one answered

SF Motel & Inn is a gem of a hideaway within steps of the historic district! This is not a cookie cutter place (thank goodness), yet it has all the amenities that we wanted: access to an outdoor fireplace, more than enough space for luggage, plenty of options for outdoor picnicking, and a healthy breakfast The staff members were all friendly, professional, and extremely helpful Our room was immaculately clean! To top it off, the property is simply charming

The staff at the restaurant was superb!! They were very friendly and attentive! The staff from the front desk was also very helpful This was our first time to stay at this location and it was a good selection The room was spacious and clean

It was convenient to have a fridge and a microwave, not to mention a small balcony The oatmeal raisin cookies were really good The boys were happy We hope to come back

Absolutely LOVE this hotel in Santa Fe NM The staff feels like family Everything is easy

If you have an issue it is quickly resolved The hot tub is always hot and they always have towels Breakfast is always good and consistent The staff in the restaurant are fantastic The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

There were a few nice thing about our stay, but unfortunately only a few They had king size beds and were located in a great placeAfter checking in, one is first greeted by an elevator call button that does not light, so it is your guess as to whether the elevator had been called

Also noted was the worn and dirty looking carpet in the halls and rooms ( we had two rooms) As we were unpacking and washing up, a smell of and sound were noticed coming from the bathroom The sewer was backing up in the tub We called the desk and requested a different room but they sent maintenance instead The maintenance man told us this sewage backup happened all the time He ran the tub drain making the room smell worse, rinsed the tub, and sprayed it Then he left We sat awed for a few minutes and called the front desk again requesting a different room They found us one and before we could repack and relocate the maid was there to clean it so someone else could occupy the room for the nightIn the new room there was at least a ten minutes wait for hot water and throughout four showers at different times of the day, the temperature fluctuated constantly If we ran the sink to get the hot water faster, a puddle would run out from under the sink caused by an unattended to leakThe front desk staff was also lacking in basic civility training The desk clerks never greeted us as we came and went throughout our two night stay other than to check us in and out It was like we were invisible even when we were the only people in the lobby Before our arrival we requested an upper floor room The assured us that we’d be on the third floor at least, but both our rooms were on the second floorWe were told that they were sorry about the issues when we checked out but I can assure you, we won’t stay here again

The front desk staff and valet services were excellent The room was very clean and beautifully decorated I am only giving a 7 because of the restaurant

Although, the food was delicious, the wait staff was atrocious They seemed to completely forget about us despite the fact that on the second day, we were the only people left in the restaurant during breakfast (approx 10am)! We had to ask three times to get our drinks, our side order, our syrup, and the salt and pepper brought to us After we asked our waitress the first time, I saw her go back to the kitchen and she seemed to be just standing around shuffling papers, and the other wait staff seemed to disappear Again, we were the only ones in thereI can understand if it had been busy Our food was getting cold while we waited for a simple thing like syrup We finally flagged down a server passing by, and got what we’d asked for Your restaurant used to be excellent what happened?

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the AMAZING Inn of the Anasazi! From the moment we arrived until the (sad) moment we checked out, EVERYTHING was wonderful The staff was super professional and helpful, the food at the restaurant delicious, and our accommodations beautiful, classic Santa Fe style Special mention to the women at the front desk, much gratitude to Marie for her graciousness with a room upgrade, and our appreciation to Diego in the restaurant for doting over us at breakfast

This trip was in celebration for my birthday and our anniversary, and it will be remembered and remain in our hearts forever Thank you all so very much again We WILL be back!

Francis Seidner

Your inn is a pleasant, well located boutique hotel We liked our large room and overall were well taken care of A number of aspects could be improved upon, however

There was insufficient lighting for reading both in our bedroom and the two sitting rooms on the main floor Service in the restaurant was all right though at times slow and a bit amateurish, For example each day at breakfast we had to ask for a spoon, an item one would expect to be automatically provided The cuisine was at what seems to be par for Santa Fe but hardly that found in city hotels of that same price category and certainly nothing to write home about In sum, I would say your hotel, while nice in many respects, lacked the sharpness and high quality one would expect at the prices charged It is, in our estimation, overpriced for the quality and ambience

Having stayed at a handful of other Auberge properties, this one is not yet ready for prime time Firstly, it is still under construction which was not transparent when we booked – the property is muddy, there are construction vehicles visible, and the spa and fitness facility are not built yet We absolutely loved our room, which was spacious and comfortable and had a lovely view of the valley

We were on the top floor so no concerns with noise We thought the food at the resort was excellent, including room service The location is also perfect – 10 short minutes into the center of town, but wilderness enough to appreciate the natural beauty of Santa Fe (and, proximate to the national forest, for great hiking) However, the service really left something to be desired – the resort felt understaffed and the team members we interacted with varied from indifferent to clueless (what is the fish of the day? “well yesterday it was halibut so it’s probably halibut today” are you kidding?) We had room service one night, and the housekeeping team left all of our dishes outside of our front door on a terrace, for the entire rest of our stay (2 full days) In contrast, we had a dinner at the nearby Four Seasons and the difference in service level was stark – the team was so friendly, attentive, and gracious This should be a lovely hotel once construction is complete, if they can figure out the service issue and bring it up to the standards required for such an expensive stay

A beautiful newish hotel, and with NEW comes some minor issues Valet persons need more training They took the bag from our car and placed it on our trunk, yes, on the paint! Bazaar

The restaurant serves delicious food, but again, missing small things like no spoon for the coffee, serving a low fat milk rather than cream Serving warm coffee rather than hot The hostess was unfriendly and rude Not big deals, but a hotel of this caliber must do better It’s the small things that make a good hotel great

bari spector

Beautiful property Wonderful beds Spa is terrific

The people who work the shuttle service our outstanding in every way food is very good The maid service is poor Food was not removed from the rooms when left outside the door The coffee maker not plugged in and is very hard to plug in The room when we checked in did not have heat and the fireplace didn’t work Turn down service was not given every night

We stayed here for two nights while moving across country The rooms were spacious for our family of 4, plus a small dog, and two tubs of house plants We had a room with two beds plus the couch pulled out to make a bed, so our small kids shared that

They offer a hot/cold breakfast option and laundry costs $200 per load There’s an indoor pool with a hot tub as well The hot tub wasn’t very hot though, more like slightly warm bath water It could be hotter in my opinionOne near thing the manager did was have a basket of toys for the kids to pick from I’m not sure if this was just for Easter time or if they always do it, but it was a nice touch and very thoughtfulWe would stay again if we ever found ourselves needing a hotel in Santa Fe, NM

Jeffro Turbo

This hotel is 10-12 years old, but went through a renovation The hotel doesn’t look that old We used the indoor pool and hot tub

Hot tub was dirty and foamy The 2 queen bedrooms are huge It comes with a living area that has a sofa sleeper, bar top equipped with coffee pot, coffee and supplies It has a tall mini fridge but no microwaveBreakfast was a full breakfast and it was satisfyingAll of the employees I met were very nice and accommodating Monique was a big help for getting milk in the evening for my mother in law who had an upset stomachWhen in the area we will definitely stay here

Holly Norris

This hotel was quite the disappointment! Everything on the website is very misleading ! The service they offer where not available ! No bar, no 24 hour service , rooms were very poorly kept Cabinets and hardware all warn out The AC shut off every night leaving us sweating while sleeping !!! After complaining numerous times they switched us rooms and continued to have the same issue

So we had zero sleep for the entire week we stayed The location was way to far away from the only part of Santa Fe that is worth seeing and that the historic Plaza Other than that are it was quite unpleasant Terrible restaurants, filthy town with tons of homeless people ! The breakfast was horrible and I’m edible They offered everyday the same thing bad eggs , bad sausage and bad Mexican soup The Breads and bagels were stale and the coffee was just nasty ! Parking was terrible and out every side of the hotel was either a gas station or a discount tire that both provided for tons of noise The rooms were not cleaned well at all The coffee machine in room was filthy , the prior quest key was sitting next to it and the shower had zero pressure !!! This was just a miserable experience ! Very un happy ! The only positive we found was the staff were nice just not helpful !

I stayed in this property in March 2021 to celebrate my 30th birthday The staff left me a happy birthday card with chocolate covered strawberries which was sweet of them I stayed in a premium one bedroom suite and it was so beautiful

The bathroom was so pretty I had to take pictures It is close to most things in town The staff were very friendly and would definitely stay here again

I waited for some time to pass before I wrote my review to assure that I wasn’t being impulsive After my recent travels to the Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt, I feel completely comfortable in what I am about to writeDO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!The rooms are truly decorated marvelously but just go the shop that owns the hotel to see the same pieces

Our room was so unpleasantly odd The bathroom door would squeak – waking my wife and I all night There was a divider between the bedroom and sitting area, but it was not solid so you could not enjoy the spaces separatelyThe breakfast was HORRIBLE for a place that charges as much as this placeThe massage I had may have been one the worst experiences of my life Bad surroundings and therapistStay in one of the MANY other spots in the amazing city of Santa Fe I’ve traveled the globe, and never received less bang for my buck

Kartik Murthy

Probably the most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in Amazing interiors with attention to detail, very friendly service from everyone we interacted with – no request left unattended , and their breakfast is perfectAs an added touch their courtyard and common spaces are so relaxing we mostly spent all our free time their grabbing a drink or reading a book

All that said, if you’re looking for an experience in line with what you’d get at a tradition luxury hotel you may not get exactly that here but the charm and uniqueness was well worth it for usI can’t recommend this place highly enough

I can’t say enough about this hotel We’ve been going here for years to experience the dining room, Bell Tower lounge, Bar lounge, and of course the beautiful rooms Its all spectacular

The old southwest decor, the friendliness, and quality, even that they are pet friendly makes them a step apart from other venues Being on the Plaza, having great parking, having a world class French Pastry shop which serves the best breakfast I’ve ever had off their lobby; all spells a return visit whenever we visit Santa Fe

Judy Eisenberg

We just returned from a trip to Santa Fe We loved our stay at La Fonda on the Plaza Everyone we came in contact with from the front desk to the bellmen to the room service waiters were hospitable and helpful

Special kudos to the Manager of the hotel restaurant La Plazuela Not only did she help me find a sweater that I had left behind at my table but she also helped with a room service order the next dayWe stayed in an accessible room because my husband uses a wheelchair This was the most comfortable and smartly designed accessible room we have stayed in ever! The shower was roomy and easy to use and had a beautiful tile mural in it as wellWe plan on visiting Santa Fe again and again with a stay at La Fonda each time

Linda Suskie

We splurged on a night here during our Route 66 road trip, and we’re really glad we did It’s a truly lovely hotel, beautifully restored Our room was spacious with a nice alcove for relaxing, but note there are dozens of different room layouts in this quirky hotel, and your room might be different

Service was very nice Location was perfect, right next to the Plaza and therefore within an easy walk of everything we wanted to see We had breakfast the next morning in La Plazuela, and we were glad to did that too-it’s so pretty
