Brandi Breslin

We loved our stay at Lost Mountain Resort The inn keeper is warm and inviting, and all our service needs were met The guest house was well-equipped and very comfortable, and the ground were gorgeous

Breakfast was delicious We also liked the location in Sequim, with restaurants and stores nearby as well as being close to recreation areas of the park Only wish we had one night without rain so we could have enjoyed a fire on the back deck, but that wasn’t in the hands of the lodge, of course

Monica Sharp

The property is gorgeous Beautiful landscape and the architecture of the buildings blends perfectly Our suite was large well decorated

Dwight and the staff makes you feel that you don’t want to leave The breakfast is delicious and healthy The Chef is very accommodating and creative to create last minute meals for people with different diet needs

Doel Sarkar

We stayed at this hidden gem for 2 nights while visiting Olympic National Park … Dwight was super helpful and spent a lot of time with us recommending restaurants as well as must-see spots The breakfast was a scrumptious 3 course meal … rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated but spacious and clean… charming little place hidden in lavender valley

This place was amazing For being inexpensive, it was amazing quality Everything was clean, they had delicious free breakfast every morning, a pool and hot tub, and the rooms all had a BUNCH of cool doodads! An Ethernet port for your laptop, free earplugs by the nightstand, and a plethora of towels

I wish there water pressure was a bit stronger, but that’s it really Their staff were amazing, friendly and sweet My primary complaint is how expensive their snack and drink bar is I had five dollars and could only buy one bottled coca colaOverall, great place, only needs a little bit of improvements! Also the elevators make duck noises when you go up or down floors

This was a fairly average hotel Our room was a bit musty upon entry, but opening the windows and turning on the AC fixed that As far as average stays goes, I would have given this a 5 star, however we weren’t really able to utilize the pool well

The first time we went to the pool there were two other families there One of the families were other hotel guests, a mom with her son and daughter The other family was a mom with two preteen aged boys and a toddler The two preteen boys were being pretty aggressive in and out of the pool The hotel was kind enough to provide balls and other water toys to play with at the pool The two boys kept throwing the balls so hard and aggressively that when they’d hit a wall or window it sounded like they were breaking things or leaving holes Several times the balls would hit other people, myself included, to which I now have a bruise forming on my upper shoulder If that weren’t enough, they were throwing the balls and splashing so roughly that other kids weren’t able to enjoy the pool My daughter eventually got out and asked if we could leave She was pretty upset because we had driven over 8 hours and almost the whole time she talked about how she couldn’t wait to get in the pool The mom sat there most of the time not providing any guidance to the kids My friend finally said something to them about simmering down, and they did for a bit, but then the front desk lady tapped on the window, holding the wireless phone from the front desk, and the mom left After which the boys were even worse Stayed for another half hour or so, sitting in the hot tub, before we left Upon leaving though we overheard part of the mom’s conversation which made it clear that she was an employee or the friend of an employee of the hotel Now that wouldn’t normally bother, except that when paying guests expect to have a good experience, as that is what they’re paying for, allowing your hotel staff and or their friends, to ruin that, is just not okay The front desk was literally across the hall from the pool room, so I know she could hear how loud and obnoxious the boys were being While we were sitting there we were shocked that she wasn’t saying anything However upon realizing that the mom was an employee or friend/family of an employee made it pretty clear why no reprimanding was issued in the midst of the chaos We ran into the other family who was in the pool room The mom said she went and complained and that there had been another family in the pool room earlier who had the same experience who also complained Thus alluding to the fact that the issue should definitely have been dealt with before we arrived, given that there were two complaints made about it We stayed for 3 days and were only able to use the pool area peacefully for 1 of them It was pretty disappointing Other than that, the experience was good The breakfast was awesome!

I’ve stayed here about once a month for the last 5-6 or so as I’ve been floated out here for work It’s a great value The staff is fantastic

Is the decor a little out-dated? Sure Is it a chain hotel? Yep! But the cleanliness and awesome staff more than make up for all of that Best of all, they totally welcome and accommodate my dog, but who I almost always have at my sideRooms are always clean They provide a little water/food bowl in room for your pup (Pet designated rooms, from what I understand) As they have recognized me, the check in process has gotten very fast I have yet to stay in a room without a microwave and a fridge I’ll be honest, I almost always watch stuff on my iPad anymore so I can’t speak to the TV service Safeway, Wal-Mart, and even a PetCo near by for your furry pal! And lots of chains and fast food minutes away Morning breakfast is a good spread for a hotel of this level and includes multiple options for hot food!Ultimately great value and a solid location Close to Port Angeles The hiking on the Peninsula is a little bit of a drive, but nothing that should deter you I don’t have kids and I’m not married, I’ve really only stayed for work But it’s a good place and it’s my go to when I get moved out here from Whidbey! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a family coming out to enjoy the Olympic!Big recommend!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at ⭐♥️ Located right next to a Black Bear Diner (delicious! 😋), the location is automatically awesome! The man at the front desk was super friendly and informative about the area He drew me a map of the Olympic loop to take and he was very helpful

The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were spacious and clean I loved the view out of my window with a cattle farm and neighborhood across the road, and of course the trees 🌲💚 Rooftop deck was beautifully landscaped and had lots of room for just hanging out and stargazing 🌆🌌 Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious! They even prepared me a large to-go box since I had to be on my way Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!

Front desk staff, Amber and Kiara were super nice; they didn’t only help us get a nice room but also helped us plan our “things to do” in port Angeles The entire staff and everything about this hotel is amazing The breakfast place is by far the most organized breakfast we have ever seen in any of the IHG hotels

A big kudos to Laura and Christine for managing it We are definitely staying here again! The hotel has amazing rooftop garden with great views, pool, jacuzzi, gym, laundry room, lot of parking, very clean and sanitized rooms and very helpful staff

Jennifer Cleary

The customer service was great! I stayed in Feb Just getting around to going through pics and reviews The person checking me in spent a decent amount of time showing me his favorite non-tourist locations and even bringing them up online so I could see them

He adjusted my room from the second floor to the first when I passingly mentioned I needed to repack my suitcase for my flight out The room was clean although a little dated I don’t mind that except when it involves the air conditioning I cannot sleep when I’m hot and unfortunately, this was one of those nights

Vladislav Vancák

First off, the room was clean and we didn’t have any major complaints Also the proximity to the Olympic National Park kind of justifies their prices However, I wouldn’t classify this place as a 2-star hotel

It is a standard motel with access from the street, small (and a bit dated) rooms, paper thin walls, next to a fairly busy roundabout

J. M.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in a One King Executive room We were in the back building on the second floor, which was quiet, and it gave us a small view of the mountains so we could tell what the weather was doing The room was clean and spacious

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful We found the location to be good for exploring between Sequim and Lake Crescent

Our stay was fantastic We wanted to take a weekend trip to a place we have never been before A place that didn’t have that standard “hotel” feel and somewhere that was quiet with a view

Well… we got all of that The property was just what we were looking for It was quiet but comfortable Almost like a cabin in the woods feel with all the modern amenities The view from our room was fantastic The people that run the place are great as well They are willing to go above and beyond for the people they are taking care ofThe attention and care from the hospitality staff is unmatched Will definitely stay at this place again Hopefully longer next time Thank you again Domaine Madeleine for everything

Constance Chen

Absolutely amazing place to stay! I personally really liked the location being separate from Port Angeles itself and feeling more quiet and secluded The cottages were wonderfully comfortable, the amenities modern, and the interior decor appealing The guidebook provided was comprehensive, the owners were extremely communicative, and the lobby was well-stocked and very convenient

Two of my small but favorite things: 1 I was absolutely blown away by how amazing the gardens were – I didn’t expect them to be so immaculately cared for, and beautifully relaxing to stroll through! It put my own yard aspirations to shame 🙂 2 It was a small detail, but I loved that the water they provided in the fridge was in a reusable metal water bottle and not plastic water bottles, and that they had a refill station in the lobby and not just more plastic water bottles I greatly appreciate the effort to reduce waste whenever possible!I’d absolutely recommend and come back here again!

Saundra Mulkey

We stayed in the Hurricane Ridge suite The views from the private balcony are stunning We saw a pair of bald eagles sitting in one of the trees at the edge of the property

The rain/steam shower was a great way to relax after a day of hiking The lobby is fully stocked with extra towels, toiletries, beer, wine, snacks, and a nice variety of board games We had such a wonderful relaxing anniversary weekend I would highly recommend and am looking forward to coming back soon

5 Stars The Juan de Fuca Cottages and Suites were wonderful! Our reception was warm and professional with the invitation to ask questions anytime They’ve done everything well plus provide serenity

Excellent location, cozy, well furnished room, fun pantry “Market” with snacks and food so we just didn’t want to leave! We enjoyed walking on the private beach and roasted marshmallows in the fireplace I would definitely return It was a really wonderful experience!

Bent Canoe

We have had a wonderful stay here! Very clean and cozy! The listing, pictures and details about this place were accurate and just how they described them Very friendly staff and they even sent an email a few days before we arrived to see if they could provide anything when we arrivedAlso great attention to detail

Love the chairs at the front of the property overlooking the straight Juan Da Fuca even though it is a bit chilly this morning and we were not able to sit outside Another good reason to come back!!

Tanner Johnson

We had a wonderful time Friendly and knowledgeable staffWe booked the Fireplace Suite and had a great view of Dungeness Bay

The two person whirlpool tub was really nice and had plenty of hot water The room was very clean and they gave us plenty of towels so we didn’t need anything over our weekend stay Only downside was that the Bay View Room was right next door and the walls are thin, so if you plan on sleeping in you might be woken up early

Had a wonderful stay here, & definitely hope to return someday! Our room was clean & had the perfect historical vibe, and the Castle itself is in a great location The woman at the front desk was very friendly, polite, & helpful – she was a pleasure to talk to There were also handouts on the history of the Castle/a self-guided tour & another for the paranormal history for those interested

I loved wandering through & exploring the historical building & the beautiful garden out front Definitely recommend!(The bed was comfortable as well!)

Eric Welling

If you like to stay at a place rich with history and a very chic rustic style then you will enjoy this place It was a cozy spot within walking distance to groceries and 10 minutes from all the main attractions that Port Townsend has to offer With 3 different eclectic lounges and restaurants there was a little something for everyone

The hotel employees were very accommodating I would highly recommend getting your own private bathroom with the jacuzzi if possible as it made for a nice experience as wellIf your looking for modern conventional hotels then this won’t be for you

Such a cool and unique experience for a place to stay! The room was clean and tidy and our room had beautiful views which was a big plus! The castle was beautiful with so much to see and so much history There’s several options for food and drinks in the hotel which made staying in easy The elephant room was very cool and unique, upbeat with good drinks

The green room was relaxed and laid back, and had books to look at/purchase while sitting The Rook had delicious food and drinks, and a very cool setting We had appetizers/drinks and then came back for dinner/drinks and the food was delicious and unique in flavor; plus the names of the dishes were awesome! The wait was a bit long but we were there on the same night as a burlesque show and they didn’t have many workers so was understandable Still a good experience!

What a great property and host! My siblings and our spouses from all over the country had a reunion at Greenhouse Inn by the Bay Our experience couldn’t have been better! The inn is so cozy and welcoming, it’s actually better in person than the pictures It’s a perfect location for seeing everything there is to see in the area

We especially enjoyed our breakfast timedelicious food and visiting with Craig who we felt was like a part of the family by the end of our stay! Don’t hesitate to choose Greenhouse Inn by the Bay when in the area We hope to make it back someday!

We stayed here 6/18, 19 & 20 in 2022 The room was immaculately clean and comfortable There are lovely places to sit throughout the home, including a fairly sizable green house

The view of the Dungeness spit and sunsets were amazing and I looked forward to looking through the moncular every morning to see the seals during low tide The breakfasts were delicious However, the best part of staying here was the wonderful insights and suggestions we got from Craig and Michelle about the area They were so informative and always interested in what we had seen the day before The other bonus was meeting other guests over breakfast It was so fun to see what everyone was doing and we even ran into one of the other couples staying at the inn at Hurricane Ridge in the park Such an amazing area and amazing hosts When my husband and I return, we will be staying here again!

Amber Cousino

Craig is a wonderful host He was very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area We stayed in the Panorama room and really enjoyed the soaking tub and super comfy king size bed

Everything was very clean and cozy Breakfast was delicious and proximity to the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge was awesome We’ll definitely stay here again!

NO ELEVATOR! Really? I expected more from a Red Lion Hotel Our room (a king suite), was pretty nice with a very comfortable bed & there was plenty of room for the family to come visit there The pool was nice & very popular with families

There were some really good spots outside to enjoy the scenery & fresh air There are also plenty of hanging baskets full of beautiful flowers Breakfast (7AM – 9AM) & the 24/7 complementary refreshments & snacks were the highlight

Thom Stoddert

We stayed there in April and the kids still ask to go back The atmosphere was more like a resort with the staff (all of them) being more than just friendly The breakfast was reasonable and the over all accommodations were also well kept

The grandchildren and ourselves made friends easily with the other guest who all seemed to be enjoying themselves In the end we regretfully had to leave after three days

jessica Jackson

we stayed here one night after we went to the Olympic game farm it’s 15 minutes away it’s in a Great location and staff is welcoming

I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons The heated pool wasn’t very warm and yer couldn’t check in early The earliest you can check in is 2 besides those two reasons, the hotel was great awesome location, comfy beds, nice rooms and an excellent Free breakfast

We stayed in a RV spot for 6 days in our 42 foot fifth wheel We did not use the laundry or restroomsPros: lots of open green space, the marina across the street is gorgeous and has more green space, on a quiet road, beautiful grounds, camp host always out working to maintain the park, friendly staff, allowed late check out, good hookups, close to odt trail, we biked 2 miles on the odt trail to the pickleball courts in sequim at Carrie Blake park ( gorgeous park and courts), nice gift shop, great Amazon package delivery, picnic tables at every site, community fire pits with complimentary wood, quiet, friendly residents, Bocci court, playground, stream, badminton net, horse shoes, Friday night bingo, restaurant in the marina is decent and convenient to walk toCons: sites have a very slite grade to them, but easily manageable

Quite a few older campers ( doesn’t bother me, but some people do Their sites were still very clean), no good Sam discountWe loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer They book up quick So make your reservation well in advance We would totally stay there again and recommend to others

I’m always on the look out for places to stay that are pet friendly and well appointed The suite had everything we could have needed, was very clean and had lots of space to spread out with nice views Whoever did the design work has a great eye and there were clever little details like the flecks of stone in the countertop that glowed in the dark! Although we used the cottages for a quick stay before boarding the ferry the following morning we will certainly return for a longer stop again!

We loved our stay here! We stayed in a cottage with a bedroom, living room area, and kitchen Whoever decorated did an amazing job – it was so well done and such an adorable place The cottage had board games, tv, wifi, and a great water view (+ beach access)

It was perfect for a weekend getaway We’ll be back for sure Highly recommend!
