We have been traveling up and down between Pennsylvania and Florida for the past 2 during the pandemic staying overnight in at least 10 different hotelsIt would be very easy for me to say that this was by far the best stay we have experience! We would not change a thing The room was clean and had a nice aroma to it

When we arrived the staff was courteous and helpful at all times and the best part of it was the breakfast was the best breakfast since the pandemic began! Will definitely stay here again next time

Nice hotel: quiet, fresh towels and cleanBUT:Please pay attention that one of the destination Tesla chargers is dangerously mountedThe male maid who was servicing the bins at the breakfast area has a terrible cough as he has a severe disease

Kindly asking to provide him with a maskOther than that, the receptionist was a smiley polite and competent personThe flower decor is nice!

This was not a comfortable stay for us It was not a nice Embassy Suites The entire hotel seemed unclean and outdated

I can’t even get into all of the details of the different issues with thatOur room smelled terrible The couch in the living room was so dirty I asked my daughter to not touch it The curtain rod from the shower was hanging down from loose screws on both ends of it, from the walls We could not even keep the shower curtain closed enough for water to not come out onto the floor And we could only shower after having maintenance come up to jimmy the faucets to get them to workThe back of the toilet tank was broken, there were stains on the bathroom floor The carpet was very dirtyAfter just feeling so uncomfortable in the hotel itself, we were at least looking forward to breakfast Got down there at 6 because we had to hit the road, and waited for a while only to be told that because it was a holiday, breakfast was not until 7 That was annoying because not only were we told 6, we were also given a piece of paper that said 6 o’clock The man sending us away actually argued with me and told me I would have been given a piece of paper upon check in that said because of the holiday it was 7 I pulled out the paper to show him, which said 6 And another couple standing and waiting with us, had actually just called the front desk and were also told 6 So we had to leave without eating and go find a gas station breakfast so we could hit the road Really just annoying and disappointing Not a fun stay

Visited MD 5 times within 3 months because I’m buying a house and, so far this is best hotel we stayed at Amazing location, Hotel is gorgeous, staff is nice, unlimited parking… but few things why I’m not giving 5 stars- 1st and most important, room cleaning service is available only every day and you HAVE TO REQUEST IT FIRST

So if you booked for 3 days or 2, your room will not be taken care of- Rooms are too close to each other Almost no privacy When you open your room, a bunch of people can see inside if they are outside in front of their rooms, on the balcony or even in the elevators which are fully transparent- The breakfast service has this lady who is so unprofessional and rude Zero customer service I went to breakfast on day 2 and it was a very nice and professional gentleman making the omelettes On day 3 it was a lady and literally everyone was complaining about her attitudeOverall, it was a good stay even if I called a week ahead and specifically asked for a baby crib in my room for our little one but it was not there Luckily we got it about an hour later after checking in That didn’t affect my review I wish I can give 45

This past weekend we stayed at the Embassy Suites at BWI We spent 36,000 points for a suite and were super disappointed When we arrived our room only had two towels and three pillows, which clearly isn’t enough

The room overall felt dated and honestly dirty The carpeting was pulling up in the common areas The shower was tiny (see photo) and there was mold around the whole base The shelf in the shower had been ripped out of the wall and never put back up, so our shampoo and soaps had to be placed on the floor (see photo) The floor of the shower was also poorly patched leaving it super rough The toilet paper holder had also been ripped from the wall and not replaced (see photo) We told the front desk, but I think they misunderstood and sent us extra soap and toilet paper The staff was struggling due to the hotel being booked and them being stretched thin The evening reception was poor We were limited to three drink options and poor bar snacks There were only two staff members, so the drink line backed up to the lobby Again, we have no complaints with the staff, there just weren’t enough of them Then for breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the crowds There was only one person bring out food, which left the counters a mess and everything constantly empty The man was trying so hard to keep up and he was so kind, but in a fully booked hotel, one person is not enough for this task The parking lot was dark and there were hardly any open spots We came across a car (not far from our own) with a smashed window and all the tires missing (see photo) There were no cameras or security around the parking lot, which was super alarming Additionally, this was my first stay I have had since achieving Hilton honors diamonds status and nothing was mentioned or provided regarding my status during my stay

I had a great experience at this hotel The room was exceptionally clean as was the rest of the hotel Even with 2 weddings and staying on a designated pet-friendly floor, we did not hear anything from our room and had a most comfortable stay

The staff was friendly and more than willing to do a little housekeeping upon request during our stay! We will 100% consider staying again in the future Thank you to the staff at The Hotel for a wonderful and welcoming stay Hands down one of the top hotels in the area for the price

Shannel D. K.

I am at this hotel a few times a year for business meetings Absolutely beautiful, staff are always pleasant Usually I stay with my sister or son when I come back to Maryland however I have this on my list of places to stay

Sorry I can not speak on the rooms Location is absolutely wonderful as well You have any and everything you need in close proximity

Dan S

Really nice place and the woman at the front desk was very nice and lovely With that said, I am only giving 4 stars because it is 4 days after our stay and my $50 room security deposit has still not been refunded Will change review once I receive that money back

***edit: after one week I received it back so am changing to 5 stars

I’m not sure about pets, but they are NOT kid friendly We heard babies crying at 6am and we never said a word, naturally because it is a hotel and people come with their families However, we received 2 complaints in the middle of the afternoon (12:30 and 3:45) when our 3 and 4 year old were laughing and playing in the comfort of the room that we paid for

Not in the hallway, not in the lobby, but in our room We received a call with someone on the other end saying, “can you keep your kids quiet?” When we expressed concerns about this and how the stay was uncomfortable for us, we were told that there are pilots trying to get some sleep When I checked out and again expressed my concern to one of the representatives behind the desk, another woman (not a manager) stood beside her and tried to justify the calls by stating, “we have other paying customers too” I quickly dismissed her and pointed out that it was one of me and two of them and I will finish my discussion with the person that I started my conversation with (which happened to be understanding regarding my complaint) I asked for the manager, who was unavailable on a Monday afternoon, and I left a voicemail with no call back or resolve We also had a teenager who asked to use the pool but was told that it was closed, only to see that it was open for other guests Pick another hotel if you have a family, especially if you have small children The patience and service is less than desirable, to say the leastUpdate…the manager called me back He was apologetic and very professional We received a discount for our trouble and appreciate the response and resolve

Beautiful hotel Great location for my work trip As others have mentioned, walls and doors do not filter sound at all

Normal conversations are heard 3 rooms away Next door room sounds like they are leaning against the wall while talking on the phone This is just normal conversations!!!!! Every door closer is not set properly, so every door slams closed… you can barely prevent it if you are trying to be considerate I’m a big strong guy and those closers would be horrible for a child, handicapable person… Won’t be back

Ellah

Customer service was questionable at first Upon checking in, I stood and waited for the front desk person to acknowledge me for what felt like 5 minutes while talking to a a co-workerBesides that, my hotel experience was pretty good

It was a quick one night stay for work The room was clean and so was the bathroom The decor is fun and modern and location was perfect for what I needed!Disclaimer: if you’re looking for a relaxing hotel for a getaway or staycation if sorts, I would not recommend as it was pretty loud and had tons of kids and families Which isn’t a bad thing of course, but if you want quiet, I would look elsewhere I agree with the other reviewers stating that the walls are pretty thinAll in all, I would visit again

First off the app allowed me the option to quickly check in and checkout I loved the digital key feature on the app which allowed me to unlock the room door The hotel lobby was clean, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice

The room had hanging curtains that allowed you the option to divide the room The room had a kitchen with a standard size refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, large microwave, dishes and utensils You could even request a hot plate burner at the front desk if you wanted to cook I will definitely stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton again

Kevin Monaghan

We cancelled a stay at another area location and chose this one instead The rooms are clean and comfortable and we experienced the front desk staff to be friendly and engaging Joy, in particular, is a true blessing and went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected at check-in to resolve a separate issue for us

She is terrific Travelling with a pet for the first time, we found this easy and convenient and the hotel is remarkably quiet, given it’s pet friendly policy Will definitely be back

Luke K

Amazing hotel with a great staff! The breakfast bar was always well stocked Rooms were spotless The rooms are well thought out – all of them have a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher

You can request an induction plate from the front desk In addition, they have a great patio space with built in grills! One of the best hotels I have been to!

I was nervous about booking here due to some of the reviews I readbut I’m so glad I did

The hotel itself is located in the business district of MD, so it’s a fairly quiet area that’s tucked away There were a few eateries near by but like we all know the good stuff requires som travel (longest we had to travel was 20minutes) The lobby of the hotel looked like it was being worked on so I was super nervous about the room We were booked for a suite on the fourth floor and it was beautiful! We had a room at the end of the hall and it was directly across from the elevator so that made things ten times more better We couldn’t heard outside noises from the room and because of our location we felt safe in knowing that we wouldn’t have that much foot traffic near our door The room was very spacious and comfortable The carpets and room itself was clean The only problem we had was the tub retaining water, but the front desk quickly resolved the problem in less than 30minutes In all, the room was affordable and exceeded my expectations; I think we found our returning hotel for future visits!

Melissa Dutton

We stayed here with a school group and the service was excellent The staff was kind and helpful Tyrone, Lorenzo, and Wendell were our favorites

We appreciate you guys answering our questions and giving us directions The shuttle was quick to take us to restaurants and stores nearby We have had a great time Strongly recommend this hotel!

Sarah Caskey

Staff is super friendly and welcoming The hotel itself though is very dark same with the rooms, not a big deal but the perception of the lamp shades completely bent out of shape and position, cardboard stuffed between the fan I assume to keep it from rocking, burn holes in the furniture, hair in the towels Rough guests and/or poor attention to detail when maintaining

TLDR – Great place to stay!Although we only stayed one night we feel the hotel was very accommodating We wanted a place to stay so we could get an early trip to the airport We got a great price to keep our vehicle for a couple days until we returned

Jackie, at the front desk, was extremely courteous and helpful to us The trip to and from the airport in ‘the cookie van’ was prompt and courteous The room was clean and modern The food we ordered from the restaurant in the evening was delicious and the service was greatsame with breakfast in the morning The cookies were a nice touch We’ll stay there again the next time we fly out of BWI

Joseph Elkins

The front desk staff sit “too busy” on their personal phones and lie to people by saying that they don’t have water bottles for guests that pay hundreds of dollars for poor quality beds in rooms with very loud air conditioners and doors/walls through which you can hear every tone some one flushes or is talking Disrespectful staff 24/7 available to charge you $3/20oz water bottle The only great aspect of this experience was the wonderful daytime shuttle driver who is extremely kind and professional

Dimples h

The hotel smelled like gas Spoke with rude Kyle at the front desk about it He stated management was aware as this has been going on for weeks and they were not going to do anything about it

He brushed me off to speak with the next guest that walked up This is very dangerous for the guest and employees to be inThe next day (Sunday) I’m coming out of the bathroom naked and housing keeping is entering my room at 10am I went to the front desk and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager (did not want to provide his name to me) explained to him what happened and why are they entering my room at 10am if check out is not until 12pm He confirmed check out was at 12 and stated house keeping is short staffed I told him there was not an excuse as to why they were entering my room so early He apologized and asked if I wanted coffee or a cookie Like why would I want coffee or a cookie when I was just violated by entering a room we paid forOverall the room was nice! Doubletree needs to do better with their staff

Just checked out and I can’t say enough great things about this hotel I love the showers Awesome water pressure and they had updated seamless shower enclosures so there was NO MILDEW 🤩

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly We were visiting family and the location was perfectWe had a nice corner room and it was very quiet There were a lot of people staying and we heard no outside noiseWe didn’t get a chance to try out the pool or the breakfast buffet but hopefully will get to next time we stay because I will definitely be back!

Nice, quick check in for a one night stay I was surprised to hear that breakfast was from 5:30-8:30

I woke up early after 24 hours of travel so as not to miss itThe hotel’s interior is recently renovated and the room reflected that It was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and toiletries The hotel was quiet, shower was hot, and breakfast was decent My sink was clogged and drained very slowly, too late before I realized it And I think it’s unhygienic to put the coffeemaker in the bathroom

Janeen Maul

This hotel charges a $150 deposit that is returned after 3 to 5 business days It is not listed on the reservation or the confirmation they send Ridiculous considering the room is only $130 per night, I’m a rewards member, booked directly through them with a credit card, and stay frequently at other best westerns without issue

The woman at the front desk was rude, abrupt, and very unhelpful She took a phone call while I was attempting to check in and was rude to that person as well I had her cancel the stay and drove to another best western in Frederick where they treat their guests with respect and don’t charge a ridiculous deposit

It’s a decent and affordable hotel, not the caliber that would be my first preference however Rooms were clean, staff was professional Ashanti was exceptional! Our couches had stains, no big deal

They accommodated us when our AC unit was broken Continental breakfast, beautiful lobby Why three stars? Called our last night to simply request if it was possible for a late checkout Carl, the night attendant responds, “No” and after a brief silence says “no, no, no we are already booked, no” as though I was being scolded and he was aggravated about receiving the same request from other guests Poor customer service and soft skills When I was asked to sign a contract at check-in promising no parties and loud music and given a parking permit stating take all valuables out the car, that told me all I needed to know about the environment, the people that stay there and what staff has to deal with Nevertheless, that doesn’t exonerate staff from treating guests like second class nuances Do better Carl

Michelle

Long but thorough!…Staff: EXCELLENT WonderfulCustomer Service Honestly best staff experience I’ve ever had…and I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, some very high end

They go above and beyond, even for my kids! So friendly!Breakfast: FABULOUS spread Had sausage, was only lacking bacon 😂 tons of choices and on the go options too Not skimping with generics, either EGGS MADE WITH CHEESE…Need I say more?!Room: No complaints about cleanliness; AC DEF WORKS! 😉 Housekeeping is nice, helpful and efficient when needed Comfy bed and pillows! And of course, the suite factor with a sectioned off living space + kitchenette is clutchPool & hot tub: Fine, does the trick Could use more seating and keeping up with stock of available “pooltowels” on a shelving unit, but that’s ok Can get loud, but that’s to be expected if an indoor poolFree (soft) chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, GOOD COFFEE always hot and available, easy parking… what else can I say?PS “The Green Turtle Bar & Grill” is an easy, short walk and fantastic food! Menu and food quality much better than any typical sports bar!

Deborah Sanchez

So my family and I needed a 2 night stay the price was more than I’d like but it was a weekend so 340 is about average The room was accommodating but there were plenty of noticeable stains on the mattresses and sheets

There is a complimentary breakfast but the Waffles were all burnt and stuck together in the plastic The milk was going bad because it was being held at a warmer temp than it should’ve been There was visible mold in the bathroom and due to lack of staff, we couldn’t get an extra blanket or pillow until the morning Our room had a pullout sofa with no dressings Not the worst hotel experience but Def could use some improvements The staff that was there was pleasant at check in and during the interim The manager did make a point to come up to check the toilet which wasn’t flushing so that was a plus I’d come back for the sake of convenience

Perfect location for my needs The hotel needs work and quickly The phone in the room did not work! Couldn’t contact the front desk, so when we needed them we had to go down to the lobby! We had to ask 4-times to get body wash as the previous guests ripped the bottle of the wall in the shower

Awesome bartender! He was all by himself but kept up with everyone in a timely fashionLocation was very convenientThere was a wedding after party in one of the rooms It large l lasted well into the early morning hours The group was extremely loud; making it impossible to rest, sleep and relax! We called down to the lobby using our cell phones and they said there was nothing they could do as it was almost over and those guests were quiet That’s because management was in the lobby and not in the 3rd floor!!! Absurd

Jessica Pereira

At check-in, the gentleman was extremely nice and provided a warm welcome to Baltimore after a day of flight delays The hotel was nice with a clean lobby and nicely furnished room The bathroom left a little to be desired and the wall dispensers in the shower were broken off but it wasn’t a big deal

All in all, the actual stay would have been 4-5 stars, HOWEVER, when I arrived home from my business trip I found that I had been charged $108 and each of my colleagues staying at the same time had charges ranging from $90-210 with no reason or acknowledgment provided by the hotel at check out and itemized receipts never sent by email as promised I don’t know if they think that business travelers won’t be checking statements and that they can just throw random charges onto the room? Because of the shady nature of these additional charges and the time now spent on the phone with Marriott to dispute the charges, my company and our clients will be finding another hotel to use for our Baltimore travel needs

Brian Bittner

Spacious rooms with nice amenities The hotel is clean and the small sitting areas available both inside and outside are great to relax and chat or read It’s definitely designed to ease the weariness of travelling

The staff are cordial and very helpful The parking lot is very small but there is a good deal of guests from the airport with no cars – just depends on when your stay is

Awesome stay! We missed our connection so got to spend an unexpected night in Baltimore and chose this hotel Our whole experience started off great when Chris the shuttle driver picked us up What an asset this man is to the hotel! Professional, cares about his job and his customers, just delightful! The lovely Camille checked us in

She too is super professional, genuine, and welcoming She too is a delight Another excellent asset to the organization Our room was comfy, good pillows, very comfortable bed, with both a microwave and refrigerator We had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast but the area is beautiful with 3 hot offerings being readied I highly recommend this hotel!

Water pressure and water temp were both great The hotel room was clean however the lamps outlets didn’t work at all, had to unplug them to plug in my chargerThe food prices are un-marked and the breakfast in the morning is not free

I thought they were confirming my room, but they were charging for breakfast

Joe Weessies

This is really two hotels in one HGI on the bottom floors and the suites on the upper floors Nothing free even breakfast anymore

Has a laundry and workout with pool but it’s crowded since two hotels Location was good for me Rooms clean quiet but not when you got kids running around and off course with the suites on the higher floors you get stomping I hate that but what can you do

My boyfriend and 2 of our friends traveled to Baltimore for the Arsenal soccer game this past weekend We had originally booked a different hotel and after driving 7 1/2 hours we pulled up and they were permanently closed and did not inform us prior When I looked online it said that Hampton Inn was fully booked but I still decided to call for a room

Ricardo was able to get us the last room available and his customer service after hearing of our issue was better than could be expected Ashley P who works the front desk was equally as amazing! She checked us in and out with no issues, gave us food suggestions when asked and was honestly just the sweetest soul after our horrible morning Her level of professionalism and compassion was top tier and Hampton Inn is lucky to have someone who cares so much for guests working for them The room was great, good choices for morning breakfast and an amazing staff Would definitely stay again!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile from Charlie, treated as a diamond member She provided water, I did ask for the higher floors but the no rooms were available, but was provided a nice quite room The rooms are very clean, hotel is close to everything you need

During my 4 day 3 nights stay I have only dealt with Charlie and she has been tremendous Helpful with local restaurants and such I would recommend staying here and would come back

We were in the area for a funeral The desk clerk when we checked in was quick to give us recommendations for local restaurants that we might enjoy, and to see if we needed anything at all for our stay We thoroughly enjoyed our time there even if the occasion was difficult

All the staff we met was very kind and encouraging and we highly recommend this hotel

Based on my experience here, this hotel was pretty good overall Nothing super fancy here 1

) The room I had was nice overall Bed was comfortable Window curtains closed all the way (for those that don’t want light shining through during the night) Everything was pretty clean Shower drain though needed to be fixed; it wouldn’t stay up so the water constantly backed up Mini fridge available in the room Microwave at the front desk area for those that may need it It was pretty quiet which I liked2) Hotel itself was decent Small bar with liquor, wine, etc Breakfast and dinner available, but very limited menu At the front, they also have a small snack/food area with things for purchase Gym was small but good Pool was closed Laundry machines available3) There is free parking Pretty safe business type area Plenty of food spots in the vicinityMore pros than cons Would recommend this location and would stay again if need be

We booked this hotel the morning of our trip and didn’t have a lot of time to research the area First the BAD – This hotel is OLD, BUT they have tried to update the rooms the best they could Our toilet did not flush unless you held the handle down for the entire flush, the bathroom was dirty (baseboard’s had dirt and dust), I killed a large spider in ours, shower dripped so there was standing water

Don’t expect to watch tv, there’s 12 channels with the same show on all day The furniture was dirty and the “closet” was just old and leaning Maybe we got a storage room? There is NO breakfast at all! unless you buy something from their pantry! The GOOD- it was quiet, the heat worked well, bed was okay and close to BWI There are a few food places right around so plenty to grab a bite to eat We only stayed one night as we were picking up our son coming home from overseas If I would have booked more nights, I would have left to find somewhere else cleaner and more up to date

Best hotel experience from the moment we walked in until we checked out! This trip specifically was with our family and it was a large group for a soccer tournament Lobby was big and beautiful with lots of places to hang out as a team Pool was clean and the kids had a blast! Rooms were clean and one minor issue was taken care of right away

Only downside I can think of is rooms need some updating with outlets so don’t forget your charging blocks they do not have usb charging as many other hotelsThe staff, I could right a book on how accommodating and nice they were to not only the adults but the kids I truly felt like the manager was my personal concierge and nothing went unnoticed by this gentleman he was on point at all times! We wonder when he sleeps as he was always there The breakfast and all the amazing waitresses were fabulous, definitely worth the cost!!! Plus they filled up the kids water bottle every morning and the parents coffee cups! I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel they were beyond exceptional and truly made our trip as stress free and enjoyable as possible!

Everyone who worked here was so nice! The room was very large and clean The bed was extremely comfortable! My only complaint is that I was not aware that I would have to be given a voucher for my food credit since I am a rewards member and was not given one upon check in I didn’t get to use my credit my first night because I was not aware of this policy

The next morning, I asked for the credit , was told “ok”, and thought it would just be added on to my bill at breakfast I was told at the restaurant to go back to the front desk to physically get the voucher for breakfast I did not mention it while i was there I was unaware of how this worked at this particular Hilton property I missed out on my “complimentary” dinner the evening that I checked in which I honestly do not believe is fairThe room was quiet, clean, big, and nice Everyone who worked there was extremely friendly, helpful, and nice I cannot say enough good about them or the hotel! The hotel is secluded, also

The only reason that I gave this two stars rather than one because of the staff is really nice But this hotel has seen its better Days The rooms smells molded, it may be the carpet

It was difficult for me to sleep because of the smell I had a headache for the 2 nights that I stayed there My coworkers stated the same thingNormally hotel lobbies are nice and updated Not this one, so you know what you are going to get when you get to your room Even the wallpaper has scratches and dirt on it Horrible!!! Do not stay here unless you live lesser than this!

We booked in to a “suite” which is putting it very modestly The only upgrade was a bit more floor room It was on the fifth floor

There was peeling paint and wallpaper across most of the walls The toilet would not flush and ended up clogging immediately When going to the front desk, clerk was on a smoke break and had to call maintenance personally who was just not at work What kind of Hilton has no maintenance staff? We had to plunge the toilet ourselves Subsequently another person in my party tried to shower and the bath tub backed up When going to plunge to it to maybe try and fix it, black pieces came out of the drain God only knows what those were So we asked to move which they obliged The room the system said was available was not It was filthy and torn apart and smelt like some one had died in it from the hallway Back down to the desk we went They finally seemed to pull enough sense together to get us into a room seeing as how it’s approaching midnight and we’d be lucky if there was any more available The consolation was free ice cream and a changed rate The rate going from 135 to 99 a night In my opinion this place was comparable to a motel 6 which cost 30 dollars a night I probably would have slept better there I like a stiffer bed but I left with back pain The ac wasn’t working properly either as I dropped it to 66 degrees and the ambient temp stayed around 71 Damp and dingy The lobby bathroom stall is falling apart The pool was nice enough with a broken gate The entirety of the hotel comes from a time forgotten which was kinda cool for two minutes until you see how nasty it actually is I guess if I was as drugged as hunter s Thompson in fear and loathing this place would be marvelous But it is indeed a dumpster fire If you have live anywhere close to better than this hotel is not for you

Before a long day of travel, I had booked a room at this hotel for over $200 in hopes of rest before a 7 hour drive the next day I arrived to a chaotic place with people having cookouts and throwing baseballs in the parking lot There was one person working on an incredibly busy night

I tried to go to sleep just before 9pm to no avail There was yelling, screaming, and door slamming I contacted the front desk They sent “security” up to quell the ruckus to no avail The next time I called the lady said she’d have them evicted, but still nothing I called the front desk 8 times over the course of 3 hours and as I write this the noise is still as loud as it was at 9pm This is behavior I expect paying $60 at a Motel 6, but this is a Hilton property charging almost 4 times that amount Stay away from this place if you actually want to sleep
