My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here with 26 people It was outstanding from top to bottom! We reserved the cellar downstairs for our big group and the atmosphere is very nice down there It was perfect! Our server Alexis was fantastic and had even helped us prior to the dinner with booking the downstairs and explaining everything

The food was amazing as always Cooked perfectly and served hot, which is tough when pumping out 26 plates at once! Everyone raved about their dinners!Definitely an A+ from myself and my crew of 26Thank you to everyone at The Railroad House!

Amazing place for a wedding venue We had a small reception in the summer cottage We got beautiful pictures in front of the old brick and in the back yard

Their gardens were beautifully decorated with flowers and pumpkins for October Lauren was very helpful with planning and fixed my wedding cake when it wasn’t decorated how I envisioned The food and atmosphere was awseome – exactly what I wanted Everyone raved about the food and drinks Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to make this an anniversary stop

Fabulous brunch after our 28 mile bike ride on the river trail this morning The Railroad House Inn / Perry Street Cellar food was incredible, great patio setting, and our server was terrific Kim had the breakfast risotto and bloody Mary

I had the special of the day paired with the That One Coffee Drink Had a difficult time choosing as there were many appealing options on the menu We will definitely be back in the future

What a lovely experience! Beautiful, rustic atmosphere, fantastic service, and wonderful food! Started with charcuterie and artisan cheeses, which were beyond delicious I had the turkey club sandwich special, which was served on the most amazing bread! The turkey, bacon and spinach were delightful, and it had a pesto mayo spread that took it over the top I was thinking a sandwich was not an exciting choice, but I was so wrong! I’m also not excited about french fries, but these were exceptional and plentiful

I would visit here frequently if I lived closer to it Well worth a try!

Unique, historical, classy While traveling through, we decided to stay at the Glen Rock Mill Inn There’s not much around but the room was spacious, cozy and clean

The restaurant was very romantic Dim lighting, piano player, a really great assortment of wine The food options were marginal but I will say that everything we had was formed and absolutely delicious Be prepared to spend some money here, it’s not Applebees!Financial breakfast was awesome Conveniently left outside the door of our room It included a large muffin, orange juice, an orange, a banana, a breakfast sandwich that could be heated I was really impressed!

Judy Kraus

What a delightful place! We sat at a hightop in the pub room, with lots of wood, charm, and excellent service It was hard to choose what to order, but our server Lauren said she really liked the shrimp tacos My date ordered those while I went for the turkey, brie, cranberry sandwich

The tacos were huge, and loaded with shrimp My turkey sandwich practically melted in my mouth! I highly recommend this for a relaxing, well staffed venue with excellent food And don’t forget dessert!

Decent bed Decent service I got a good rate for a wedding

The room is clean but weird the sheet is on top of the blanket I had to double check if it’s cleanThere is a Starbucks I would drive out for a cafe thou

We chose the Courtyard York/ TownPlace Suites for our May 2022 wedding room blocks, and could not have been happier with the service and experience Their Wedding Specialist Kati is absolutely fantastic, and took care of the room block, coordinating shuttle times, and making sure all our out of town guests were attended to throughout their stay Our suite was spacious and clean, and she went the extra mile to make sure we received the best deal and most points for our time there

If you’re getting married in or around York, PA, these two hotels and their coordinator Kati are the folks to book with

Brad Gaskill

The stay got started off immediately in the wrong foot Check in states 3pm it was past 4pm before we got our room I don’t know how that’s possible for a Thursday check in

Especially in York, PA No way this hotel was sold out the night before The water pressure is less than desirable In fact, what water pressure? There is none The gym could use a daily disinfectant + towel replenishment Bare minimum have disinfectant wipes available Overall, the stay was ok – bed was comfortable, room was cool, no issues with sound or disturbances But I think addressing minor details that can be improved upon that could’ve made the stay better Although, the two random coors lights left in the fridge in our room was a delightful discovery The mountains were blue To recap: check-in means check-in, spare me the “linens issue” excuse, even marginal upgrade in water pressure to the shower would be a win, and tidy up the gym space more frequently

It was a great stay Service was great They were even super welcoming to my dogs and answered all questions I needed

The room is huge and the courtyard pool and outside area was beautiful! The reason I didn’t give them a 5 star rating is because of the bar being closed at 10 pm on a Saturday and no protein (bacon or sausage for breakfast) Everything else was great!

Rinni Smith

The housemen AJ and Larry do an awesome job with making sure the building, bathrooms and grounds are clean It always smells great when I walk out of my room They clean up after every guest with most of the guest being filthy and disrespectful

Were extremely helpful and respectful They do not get the recognition that they deserve and should be tipped for their great service as well as a raise

Chillin’ With Chuck

Really like the courtyard with fireplace and fire pit They also have in the courtyard an indoor swimming area Room was clean and staff is friendly

Great location with businesses within walking distance We decided upon this location in between lancaster and Gettysburg because we are going to both Breakfast is the only downside no hot food like eggs bacon sausage

This is a beautiful historic Hotel about 25 min from Gettysburg, that has the quaint and hometown feel of stepping back in time All the staff were genuinely kind and engaging while going about their tasks The food served was incredible, the Meatloaf is a must and I’m not even a fan of meatloaf ordinarily!!! Also try the Brussels Sprouts… perfection

They also had some great drinks like a Blackberry Sour and The 1763 Lager ( Centre Sq Brewery) We will definitely be back, thank you for some great memories!

As part of our trike trip from Virginia to Pennsylvania we wanted something other than a normal motel stay and we certainly found it This is a beautiful antique hotel, very well kept and comfortable The rooms were clean the service was excellent

The restaurant in the hotel is great, the food and service were superb Anna, Morgan and Casey all terrific We will definitely be back!

I think it is important not to give such a poor review without the establishment understanding what was done wrong to warrant a one star review My family, three of us went to the Easter buffet @ 12:00 thinking all the food would be fresh We had to walk a long distance to another room from our table to the “buffet

” The buffet never looked visually attractive It was set up in a room with large tables of families within arms length of the tables They didn’t have one person serving any of the food, it was totally serve yourself, by not having had servers behind the food, the food became poked and mushy looking in appearanceThe serving silverware was never changed, considering the Pandemic we all this lived through, you would have thought that would have been a top priority The amount of food on the buffet looked very skimpy for the amount of people that were dining Aside from the fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, the food was less than mediocre for the price The server at our table was attentive, in fairness the service was good

Nice, clean, quiet hotel It presents in person as it does online Easy check in/ out

Good water pressure for the shower, didn’t hear my neighbors come and go Area felt safeThe main road to it was closed and it was a pain to find the way in, at 10p at night However, once I called the front desk, it was easily resolvedI ranked it so high because it was exactly what it said it was, and no surprises I’d stay againNice pool area The spa was closed, but I didn’t care about that

This is NOT a 3 star hotel!! We only stayed one night and I was so disappointed with this hotel Room was just okay but not given more than 1 shampoo/conditioner bottle The drawer to our dresser was broken and kept opening up

Stained pillowcase We went to use the pool and it was so steaming hot that it was impossible to stay in there Pool water was also too warm No towels in the pool area either We told the front desk about the towels and they told us we are supposed to use our room towels Obviously not true, because there is a rack dedicated to towels in the pool area We also mentioned the pool area being way too hot They told us we can open the windows We opened the windows are were met with the most DISGUSTING dead rotten fish smell ever!! It was so bad it made me want to gag Not sure where it was coming from, but something or someone died outside the back of the building!! Unfortunately we had to keep the windows open and deal with the horrible smell because it cooled the swimming area down a bit But that smell was unbelievable, even people who came in after us asked what that terrible nasty smell was It took over the whole pool!! Next morning we had the free breakfast It was just okay They ran out of a lot of stuff by 7 am! And only one waffle machine…food was subpar All of this for $138 a night!! I feel cheated Next time we will stay at the Hampton Inn Never have any issues there!!

Alexis McLeod

This place has horrible customer service! I stay here with a traveling working company and the hotel was supposed to charge the Company card fr the first 3 days! I gave them my car to charge the remainder of the stay

! She failed to verify the right card and was charging the Company card instead of my credit card! Then once it was discovered Miss Pam lied and said I authorized which is false because i never would’ve been able to verify information that was not mine now I have to go to court to prove I gave her my information and she neglected to do her job and verify the correct information! Never stay here regular guest was complaining because she was double charging their card w/o authorization!

My sister, my 3 aunts, and a good friend of my aunt whose 95th birthday we were celebrating had a delightful time at the tea room Diane is extremely gracious, welcoming and attentive and her staff were polite, engaging and accommodating The home is charmingly furnished with so many different items to see, especially the numerous tea pots, china and tea cups

The food was delicious, attractively arranged and filling The selection of teas was extensive and amazing We tried 5 different kinds and liked all of them especially the baked apple Diane and her staff made us feel as though we were having tea at our best friend’s house My sister and I are already talking about going back with a friend of ours who has never been to a tea Thank you Diane for a lovely time!

Sheree Opdyke

This tea room is absolutely wonderful A group of 12 of us got together for our annual Christmas tea yesterday Some of us drove up to an hour and a half

We were pleasantly surprised when arriving the house was decorated gorgeous and the staff was very attentive and friendly Unlike some tea rooms were they rush you out we were At least three hours The selection of tea was Unbelievable Every time we turned around there was a new pot of tea with a new flavor being served with a pot left on the table till it was empty The soup, salad, scones, tea sandwiches, and desserts one was better than the other Most of us left with doggy bags Diane and her staff are fabulousThe tea and food were Delicious

Jaci Rohrbaugh

Absolutely charming This quaint little Bed and Breakfast is a must Whether you are traveling or just live down the road, you need to experience this

The tea room is splendid The food is magnificent and the variety of teas is incredible Do yourself a favor and book a tea and while you are at it, book a room You will not be disappointed
