I had to stay for more than 4 days and because of the people, this hotel feels / felt like home I was honestly sad to leave and Kim and Neysa are super sweet! The color scheme makes it peaceful The cleanliness, and willingness of the staff to make things right, is why I really like this hotel

Neysa, Roman, Kim, Andrew, Zalma, George and more have ALL been accommodating, friendly, and warm Every morning at breakfast Neysa greeted me with kindness I felt seen, heard, and valuable I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I will be returning soon! Thank you Fairfield Moorpark!

Horrible My mother in law booked several rooms here for a wedding We checked in on May 27 in the morning, unpacked our things in our room, attended the wedding, and then returned to the Marriott around midnight to find that we could not get into the room

We went down to the front desk and they had removed all of our belongings from our room and placed them in the lobby They had given someone else OUR room and informed us that the hotel was booked and we had nowhere to stay It was the most shocking and disappointing thing that has ever happened to me at a hotel They only offered us a refund on our room (which was obviously expected since they gave our room to someone else) I’m not sure how they chose us to bump or who was staying in that room that was so much more important than us Fun thing is, my husband is a lawyer so it will be quite easy for us to file a civil suit against Marriott Do better

When we arrived the hotel was undergoing renovation which made us a bit skeptical But the moment we walked into the lobby the experience was beyond exceptional The staff was super friendly & treated us with professionalism but like long time friends

The rooms were clean & parking was great The free breakfast was an actual breakfast!!!! We couldn’t have been happier

Such a great place to get away with your family Animal friendly they have designated areas for your pets to do their business Kids had a blast having their own room

rooms are very spacious and modern bathroom is big perfect lifting and glass shower doors staff super nice and helpful house keeping is also on top of their game Pool was being remodeled at the time of stay but they have a great seating area and huge lawn with tropical flowers to take amazing pictures also breakfast is served I recommend you get the burrito with sausage and potato kids loved the eggs and oat meal orange just is good too A little on the higher end of pricing Hopefully in the future they might do an awards program to ear points or discounts for returning visitors I like how it’s close to a grocery store and gas station it’s right next to the freeway but you couldn’t hear the cars or trucks go by due to the tall trees There is a huge ditch so I would recommend keeping your pets in a leash becuase mine almost ran away and fees in to the ditch you would have to can 911 to help your animal out but other than that my kids loved staying here and so did the boyfriend I highly would recommend this hotel to anyone trying to have a local getaway

I have no idea how this hotel has Sheraton branding At best, at best it qualifies for a four points flag Very dated hotel with staff that could care less

Calling the furniture old is a compliment We stayed in the “presidential suite” but I can assure you it was only presidential in name The fixtures were damaged and dinged Wallpaper was coming off Furniture was STAINED Cleanliness through the hotel was questionable The entire property is very very dated and in need of a desperate upgrade And by upgrade I don’t mean new furniture Although that wouldn’t hurt, but the exterior paint is in horrible shape, windows, door jams, elevators need maintenance, automatic doors were not working, hallway wallpaper and paint was chipped and pealing, the list goes on If this hotel is a representation of the Sheraton brand then Sheraton is going the way of Ramada The once upon a time tier one brand that lost its image due to dated properties I probably won’t stay again

Would choose 25 if it was an option 1st room, door latch screws fell off they moved us next door but the 2nd bathroom definitely had a smoker before so we closed it off

The hot tub was also roped off the whole time I may not have left a review but on Sunday they locked the door for breakfast at 9:35 even though the times posted on the door said Sunday breakfast would be open until 10 The breakfast area was nice

We had a late check in it was me and an 18m old baby After getting all checked in I went up to the room turned the air on and got my baby down and about an hour goes by and there isn’t any cool air coming in from AC went down to front desk cause front desk button was missing from the phone and no one was around Morning came and I called down there from my mobile the lady on the phone was super nice said they would make adjustments to my bill

The bedding was also white with stains all over and the baby’s feet were black from dirty carpet So I go to check out mind you I’ve been there a total of 7 hours tops the front desk girl was extremely rude asking why I wouldn’t wait for the front desk person to return at 1 am ? I said I have a small child sleeping can’t leave him long She was very rude and wasn’t understanding at all They tried to credit me $30 bucks for having ZERO cool air and a dirty room After asking for management she said no one but her could help me There was also supposed to be breakfast set up I never seen any food Very disappointing I will never recommend this place for the price got to motel 6 for 100 less and the same quality

This is our all-time favorite hotel The cleanliness is unsurpassed The housekeeping is amazing

The pool and entire patio area is beautiful and clean The fitness center is excellent The rooms are spacious and shockingly comfortable–and I can never sleep in hotels The attention to ‘quiet hours’ is appreciated The iced fruity water in the lobby is SO GOOD! Wonderful six-night experience for my family

Clean hotel, good customer service, spacious rooms But the pool were close during my entire 3 night stay My partner was on a business meeting and I was hoping relax while he work but I couldn’t do anything, the bar/restaurant closed from 11am to 5pm

The ice machine of the 4th floor didn’t work Nothing for lunch or drinks during afternoon hours The bar have a good entrees selection and the bartender was super friendly

My husband and I recently got married and stayed at this hotel with several of our guests We planned to pay for one of our guests Room & Tax so I called in advance to make sure we could do this, we were assured we could When we got to the hotel, we asked the front desk to please charge our card the room and tax for our friends room

We were told it was taken care of and our friends would simply need to come by the front desk to put down their credit card for incidentals and pick up their keys Hours later, I get a text from my friends saying that they were charged the room and tax because the credit card we put down got “deleted” We make our way back to the front desk to figure out what went wrong – the front desk agent told us her supervisor would look into it I had to be the one to ask how we would know it was taken care of, would someone be following up with us, etc, etc, there was no initiative to assure us Shortly after, we get a call from the supervisor and the supervisor asked us to come back downstairs to explain the situation At this point, it is the FOURTH time we are talking to someone to deal with a simple request The supervisor explained that our friends were indeed charged and the solution suggested to us? Just transfer money to our friends once the hold was released from our card This was all happening the day before our wedding and I still can’t fathom how a simple request became so complicated

Not bad a bad place to stay Rooms and furniture are dated Location was decent, you are 25 min from ventura Beach

One nice surprise was our tour of downtown Fillmore museum It is full of great history and an amazing tour Highly recommend tiuring the downtown fillmore area Another nice perk is that this property is walking distance to a super market, dollar tree and laundry Also, the beds are very comfortable However, I would not stay here again

Sage Jessica

I have had the WORST experience with customer service over my stay at this hotel I was charged the full amount TWICE when I checked in I finally have the charges fall off , only to be charged the incorrect amount when I checked out

When I called and talked to the front desk , she said ” oh okay let me refund the amount” nope she charged my card AGAIN! When I said ” you charged me again !!??” she said they are having problems with their ” new ” POS system and basically oops The money is still missing from my account and am still in shock at the poor customer service I will NEVER stay at a Best Western or affiliate again beware

Andrea Talmadge

I recently booked a room for my daughter who was traveling to San Diego from Washington State for work It was a last-minute booking so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get a room for her and uncertain if the hotel was decent The representative at the hotel was more than helpful and set me up very quickly

After arrival my daughter contacted me and had nothing but good things to say about her experience, especially the orange tree’s that were abundant The staff were courteous, the room and hotel were clean, it was quiet with very little noise, and although they were following Covid protocol the breakfast choices were great The only reason for the four stars was due to difficulty getting the TV internet to work, which was remedied by a helpful staff member Apparently, there was a wire that needed a little gentle persuasion to work The second was the two free loading crickets that snuck into the room Yep, actual crickets, not the other well know insect They eventually left on their own accord Overall it was a good experience

Really enjoyed this place Stayed 5 nights to tour colleges in the area and really have no complaints We stayed in room 383 and despite the hotel seeming to be bustling with people and the pool being occupied, our room was fairly quite

Due to our schedule, I do wish we could have spent time at the pool or an evening drinking near the pool patio They could do better with their weekday breakfast offerings, nevertheless the weekend chocolate waffles were a hit with the kids

Erica Mccullough

Not what we thought!!!I’m a nurse traveling for work and we loved this place when we were here initially We checked out for the weekend and came back the next week only to have our price for two days go up significantly When we questioned this, the person who said he was manager rolled his eyes, kept sighing at our questions and said that hotel rates change by the hour and even though it was on booking

com for one price when we looked, doesn’t mean it is the same when we got here to check in Most hotels would’ve honored the rate shown online, but at least he could’ve been somewhat polite about it I asked about the discount for being a nurse and he said they only do that during nurses week All we wanted was an explanation for the charges, and he acted so put out by having to explain to us why the amount WE PAID increased so much We planned on staying here for another week, but due to the rudeness of the manager, we will stay at one of the many really nice and FRIENDLY ones in the area

Cathy McBroom

As a guest under my Sister and brother in law Membership and Marriot points they receive welcome benefits I was able to relax and enjoy a needed respite after a family member a sibling Memorial Services Mahalo for the helpful staff and their professional mannerisms

There is no maid services in this hotel No clean towels, shampoo ran out the first night Need anything? You have to go the front desk and ask for it

No one clean up your trash There is no remote control for the TV Neighbor is very loud particularly there is no TV in our room to overcome other noises Took my shower at around 8:00 pm, the water is cold Breakfast is good with hot food and lots of choices Staff friendly Room filthy due to lack of cleaning with oily fingerprints on furniture Water marks on the bathroom floor Both key cards not working the second night No maid services but the maid opened our door at 8:30am to “check” on I don’t know what Good location not too far from the freeway Lots of restaurants nearby In-and-Out Burger across the street Outback Steakhouse next door The cost is around $200/night I gave one star because cleanliness and services are two areas that I rated the most important for a hotel This one has none of those

Doug Gallardo

Friendly staff, clean updated hotel:I was very happy with the hotel’s updates The furniture and carpet wasn’t old and worn out, and everything was clean! There was always someone cleaning floors and carpets during late morning/early afternoon Most of all, everyone was happy there – friendly! Unlike some hotels, I was treated like a welcome guest

Golfkat B

Great hotel with friendly staff I had a quiet and comfortable room Would like healthier breakfast options (less processed), but this is what you get everywhere

The coffee in the lobby is improving (I have low expectations and usually cannot drink it, this was drinkable)Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful rooms, excellent sauna/ steam room facility, amazing gym, wonderful gardens Food was absolutely incredible and room service was open late Staff was catering and exceptional overall

There was a wedding on the front lawn when I was there and I was able to peek at it from my room It was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and was fortunate to see it All around great place

Kim Espinosa

Check-in was efficient, room was nice My gripe was that there was a party with lots of very drunk and loud people on my floor from 2:30 am until 4:30 am People were in the halls talking and laughing loudly for 2 hours

I called reception twice (3 am and 4 am) and they were definitely apologetic, but the noise didn’t stop We had an early flight and I mentioned at check-out at 5:30 am, but the check-out staff showed zero empathy They didn’t apologize but they did acknowledge the noise I know it’s not their fault, but I would think they should try a bit harder to ensure that guests can sleep ok Like perhaps have a no loud party policy after midnight?

They had the best hotel free breakfast since covid They had a complete spread with super friendly staff, excellent Italian restaurant, beautiful courtyard, and a nice pool, jacuzzi and fire pits The rooms were also comfortable, nicely done and well stocked with things most don’t think of anymore, like mints on bed and shower caps

I’m glad we stayed here This isn’t the cheapest, but by far the best value for sure If we ever find ourselves in the area again, definitely spending the extra few bucks to stay there

Taylor Randall

The manager Sun has done a fantastic job of hiring and training the right people Every interaction we had, reception, maintenance, security, room service, hospitality, was near perfect Everyone was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous

I cannot overstate the quality of the personnel at this hotel They do a fantastic job, and it will show in all aspects of your stay Rooms were clean and tidy Pool area looked very nice (we did not use the pool) Breakfast burritos are on pointNote: This location has a 2nd floor, but no elevators If anyone in your party has a mobility concern I urge you to call ahead and make sure you can be on the ground floor I’m certain this team will make it happen for you

Mike Osthimer

Room was spacious as advertised if you could get in After numerous attempts the door would open if you rammed it at just the right spot Tried to notify the front desk but the room phone didn’t work so I called on my cell number

Temperature was warm so we turned the air on before leaving for dinner only to return to a hot room Went to use the jacuzzi but discovered it closes at 9:00 pm 3 stars is a fair rating for the hotel

Living in the valley for over 2 decades, this is the 1st time I had a need to check into this Hotel Celebrating the 4th at the Warner Park is an annual event for us It’s FREE and pretty accessible

This year however we came across a fireworks package from the Warner Center Marriott It’s directly above the Warner Park where the Fireworks show is adjacent We booked it specifically in order to get an birds eye view of the event and kind of bypass the crowds mostly This hotel has all the amenities needed and has been updated to reflect the current contemporary look Service has been great and the rooms are very nice and sleek If I had another opportunity to check in the hotel I would not hesitate

We stayed here during a Fourth of July weekend trip to the LA area Staff was super friendly and helpful The room was very clean

Beds were so comfy! We melted into them every night we got back to the hotel We almost overslept the morning we were supposed to check out because they were so comfortable Close proximity to a lot of things There is a Whole Foods, Ralph’s and Amazon Fresh store all close by for food Starbucks in the lobby which was super convenient We stopped there before we headed out for the day One of my favorite Marriott’s we’ve stayed at I am definitely going to be back

This place was about to charges me $100 per night even though my company paid already & for self-parking fee This is for incidental charge but for every night is ridiculous Had the account hold for $150 instead of $500

When I checked out the front desk blond curly hair woman charged me for the parking even though there is a note there I had to contact the account to help it cleared Refunded within 3 daysThe check-in lady Sam is wonderful, she got me on the 3rd floor No carpet which I want and no noise coming from the top or bottom floors The 2nd floor leads to the 3rd floor parking building There a mini fridge but it can’t even keep my ice cream cool No microwave Gym is kind of old and dirty I like the free breakfast the platinum member lounge Make sure the front desk activate your membership to gain access to itNote: Select option 5 on the main menu to speak with the account and have her send you the credo card authorization form Otherwise you’ll be charging for the full amount for the stays

I rate this hotel a 3/5 I took off 2 stars for the following reasons:- upon arrival- we found an old/used wash cloth hanging on top of the shower curtain We also found trash on the floor behind a chair in our suite as well as leftover cutlery from Panda Express (still in plastic at least) on the counter where our sink/coffee maker was

That didn’t make us feel confident that our room was actually clean- breakfast staff The lady walking around cleaning up tables was pleasant Very friendly actuallyMy issue lies with the women making omelets For some odd reason- they seemed annoyed whenever we’d ask for bacon or sausage They weren’t friendly, and their facial expressions/body language/tone of voice just made us all feel uncomfortable I have no idea why they don’t put the bacon/sausage out with the rest of the breakfast items in the main area Especially since they don’t use the fresh sausage/bacon in the omelets themselves Seems odd to keep them in the omelet area and not let people know that it’s there Almost seems as if they’re hiding it for whatever reason

Breakfast here was way better than at Homewood suites(another Hilton hotel that is right next to this one) Really good location 5 min away from Six Flags Basic small little gym

The bar is really nice, lots complementary drinks between 5pm and 6:30pm happy hourDefinitely could not come back here with small kids just because I felt the windows are really dangerous and kids love playing by the windows, so basically we had to take turns to supervise our small children every second we were there(while they were awake) and not enjoy much the stay I definitely come back to stay alone or with my girlfriend 100%

Autumn Karas

The breakfast service was amazing and very clean The rooms were a good size and clean as well Nice pool and hot tub

Beautiful bar and dining area Sunday brunch with mimosas and bloody mary s Guest laundry was a plus and they had phone pay so no need for changeNeed to update the TV s in the room and maybe add more USB ports The gym was missing items Overall a nice and elegant hotel

Beautiful views and lovely grounds with flowers everywhere Unfortunately, the beds are EXTREMELY hard My husband and I had a difficult time getting comfortable and woke with sore backs

Also, we had to unplug the lamp and clock to charge our phonesThe pool is cute and heated Perfect for little kids Bring a cooler because there wasn’t anyone tending bar in the pool areaThe Italian restaurant is closed on Monday so we were unable to go They have an outdoor restaurant that requires you to order food and drinks in lineI’m giving the resort 3 stars because for the price they need to make improvements regarding comfort and practicalities

Great experience overall Just to get a few nit-picky things out of the way… a hinge on top left corner of the slide door shutters was sagging and the doors wouldn’t seem to properly close as a result We were booked into a suite so the fireplace is accessible to both rooms via a set of glass doors

They were good on one side but looked crooked on the other I tried fixing this and it literally came unhinged I put it back into place as best as I could and made a point not to mess with it The spa tub is great, but one of the jets stopped working on the third day And the towel rack closest to the toilet is quite loose on one side The shower is awesome and reminds us of home as we have a similar setup with the exact same fixtures A tremendous stroke of the ego to know that we picked out a design for our home bath that smacks of high-end And finally, we had ants It’s summer, so it is to be expected that these guys want to beat the heat as well A few of them could be seen in several corners of the room shortly after check in It got a bit worse, so we were diligent about freezing food scraps and emptying our trash several times daily The patio showcases a stunning view of the waterfall courtyard And we could see the pool from our room as well, so it was a convenient way to check if it was too busy out there or not

Typical of a Hyatt Nice place, clean hotel, friendly staff, good sized rooms Only issue I had was the shower flooded after one quick use and I had to change rooms around 8pm since it overflowed

Didn’t get to use much more except the room, bar & restaurant as it was a business trip Melissa, the bartender, was great Engaging, attentive and handled the large crowd with ease Parking is across an access road in a structure, not bad Overall good hotel that I’ll return to for business especially as a World of Hyatt Globalist Member

The good: The hotel is in very good condition The rooms, except the shower, had no bugs, stains or odors The air conditioning is not a window unit

The beds seem to be an ok fluffy pillow top mattress with a deluxe comforter and goose-down-like pillows I slept well This hotel is in a nice areaThe bad: There is no swimming pool or hot tub If you’ve driven there, valet parking is offered for $19 per day You may park your own vehicle for $1875 per day if valet isn’t for you Hilton tried to charge for valet and self for all days Hilton will charge your card $50 per day at check-in for incidentals deposit my charge was removed after checkout The shower was showing its age with light rust on the lower enclosure, degraded caulking and lightly darkened for traffic area I will stay somewhere else on my next visit

Carolyn Stifflear

I have stayed at this hotel numerous nights since November of 2021 as my company opened a new business nearby Overall, the staff is incredible and my stays are pleasant I would agree with all the reviews that this hotel front desk is really bad and lacks serious customer service

Very rude, poor phone etiquette and make you feel like you are a severe bother to them I do however want to give a HUGE shout out to Jeffrey as he is the ONLY employee at the front desk with proper customer service and excels in delivering a excellent experience! I now tell all my colleagues when booking or needing assistance at this hotel to only ask for him Congrats to Jeffrey! You are a rockstar! The bartender is also by the the best! Your lucky to have these two on your team! For the rest of you and your management team…step it up!Coming from an Ambassador Elite

So we are at the beginning of our stay and already some disappointment I requested extra towels three times and it took me walking to the front desk to retrieve them myself There are 4 of us in the room and they had given 3 bath towels

1 of which had a dried blood stain on it Plus side there is breakfast regardless if you stay with Townsend Suites or Courtyard The pool is quite popular, so be prepared to find a small crowd there I will update my review along the way

This property is split between two different brands – Courtyard and Townplace I’ve stayed at both and prefer the Courtyard by far 2-star rating is due to the lack of cleaning on the Townplace side) and having to babysit my Bon Voy account to get credit earned with my stays here

The beds are comfortable and rooms are nice size The property can be loud if staying in a room along the highway or north side of hotel (animal shelter next door) It’s convenient to the 101 as well A bit isolated in terms of restaurants nearby LA Fitness is next door but gym is doable at hotelRecommend NEVER booking the Townplace side My only attempt to stay on Townplace side included not just 1 but 2 dirty rooms Ultimately I requested to be moved to Courtyard side, which the front desk accommodated after I showed them someone’s dirty towel was under my sink (and let them know I didn’t have any clean towels which I realized when I was getting out of shower so had to use the one and only washcloth to dry off) The room switch apparently caused issues crediting my prepaid stay for Bon Voy points I’ve been trying for 25 months to get it resolvedLocation is super convenient to my office otherwise I would find another Marriott property that is more consistent and doesn’t hassle me for Marriott pointsUPDATE: As you can see the property GM responded and claims my points were added That is absolutely NOT TRUE As of 8/13/22, I am still missing credit for the 2 nights I stayed on the Courtyard side of this property I have spent way too much time groveling for points that should be automatic RIDICULOUS!!!
