This was my second time staying at this hotel the first time was over 10 years ago and 10 years later this hotel is still great! Our room was very clean and there were no issues! Service throughout the hotel was great and friendly The pool is great and the servers by the pool are great The room came with a kitchenette which was very convenient! Additionally, this hotel is in a great location of Fort Lauderdale (thing are easily walkable near by like the state park and everything on A1A

Water taxi stops are near too) Finally, the view from this hotel is great Our room allowed us to see the ocean on one side and the city on the other Thank you Atlantic Hotel and Spa for a wonderful trip and even better service 👍

We did a 5-night stay at the Atlantic Hotel and I will be coming back We had the ocean view suite which contained a kitchen, sitting area, dining area, a king size bed, two bathrooms, and an amazing deck We had no problems with the room

They have complimentary beach chairs and umbrella’s for the beach The entire staff was excellent If I was going to call out a very minor compliant it would be the Sky Bar it was staffed by a single employee, and although she was great, the kitchen was slow in getting food out to the patrons We look forward to staying here again in the future

I’d give them more stars if I could! Went there recently for a company conference The rooms were very nice The staff there is top notch in all areas!!! Great attitudes, very professional, always on top of things

The food in all of the restaurants is phenomenal!!! Thank you for an awesome experience! Your staff made our experience there amazing!

Jane Harker

This is the best resort that I have ever stayed at! All resorts are beautiful inside but it was the staff that set this one apart Everyone was extremely friendly- from the lobby, to the catering servers, to the man that was changing the garbage outside in the parking lot Everyone had a big smile on their face, greeted us, and wished us a good day

The rooms were spacious and clean The bed was really comfortable I ate at the Deli twice and the food was delicious Needless to say, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit this area

Steven Raymer

This is a great place for spending some fun family time The water park is entertaining enough for a full day I did appreciate not having to drive all the way into Orlando, but I would not want to stay here if I were visiting theme parks in Orlando and have to make that drive (though some may appreciate the distance)

You do feel like you have space here to unwind The golfing looks fantasticNote – if you are coming for the water park make sure you know which building you are in Ours was farther than we had anticipated and we would not have booked had we known that originally

Property is beautiful Really enjoyed hearing the history of the place The porch is set up beautifully with lots of comfortable seating

Entrance and lobby is gorgeous Rooms are spacious and clean Bed was comfortable for a hotel bed and we had plenty of pillows Shower was big with a large seat Our view overlooked the pool/back of the property We definitely enjoyed the pool and hot tub There was a basket waiting outside our room in the morning with complimentary croissants, apples, and orange juice The croissants were fresh, delicious, and melted in your mouth The lack of staff means we had to wait to check in and out When we first arrived there was a young girl at the counter who was on the phone She made us stand there and wait a good 5 minutes only to tell us our room wasn’t ready (which I figured since we were early) She didn’t mention anything about the hotel itself and I had to ask her about the wristbands for the sister resort When we went back later the gentleman that checked us in was very attentive and informative Overall very good experience and would definitely go back

Liliana Palacios

Our stay was great from the moment we arrived, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated corridors The room could not be better: clean, good size and elegant The bathroom is equally clean and comfortable, and to my surprise it uses an absolutely wonderful brand of toiletries, which smells very good

When I left my room in the morning, I found a little picnic basket with breakfast in it on my doorstep I think it’s a precious detail with the client! The only bad thing was that my husband fell down the stairs, because the floor of the stairs and the rest of the floor is the same color, which creates a visual effect that confuses those who come down, because he thinks that the stairs have ended, for what I think there should be precautions for the elderly or those with disparities

The Simple Travels

And incredibly beautiful and historic building and very polite staff The restoration of this now boutique hotel makes this a place you’ll want to stay We’ll give only a 4

5 star because the shower head in the room we were first given did have missing tile around it as well as a towel shoved in the small hole to somehow disguise it some Staff was kind to move us, but new room had dust bunnies at bed and no toiletries Mostly minor things, but not something we’d expect for a higher priced hotel All that aside, we enjoyed our stay overall

The staff was beyond friendly They welcomed us with a bag of waters and popcorn to take to the room They get out and interact and get to know their guestsThe rooms are spacious and CLEAN!! I have OCD so this is a hard “thumbs up” in my book and they got it! The beds are extremely comfortable The room had plenty of luggage, clothes, and traveling items The kitchenette has all the necessities accounted forThe hot breakfast was tasty Had a good variety, for even the fussy eatersThe hotel is also convenient to the interstatesI do not write many google reviews, so hope this helps some of you out there!

If I could give them no stars I would I am a Hilton Honors member, but I will never use them againI was traveling cross-country from CA to FL driving a Penske truck with a car trailer in the back

When I got to Pensacola I just could not drive anymore I had been staying at Hampton Inns throughout my trip without an issue They had reasonable prices and they were close to the freewayWell, that was not the case with this location On their website the price was $117 We were paying similar rates across the country But, they charged me $338 for one night I ask the lady at the desk why the price was so high She said she didn’t know It was ridiculous and her manager thought it was ridiculous, but that is what I paid, thinking that I could call corporate and they could fix this because I just could not safely ride any furtherI got back to CA and had to call corporate 3 times The first two times they said they would contact me within 48 hours They did not When I called the third time they told me that corporate communicated with the hotel, but did not call me The Pensacola I-10 hotel because it was not at the beach told them that’s how much they charged and did not communicate with me at all The customer service person told me that during the season between February and September they charged higher That’s not true because none of the Hampton hotels across the country charged me such an amountThe Hampton hotels are not worth $338 plus taxThe corporate and that particular hotel’s customer service was appallingI will never stay at a Hampton Inn again

This hotel is conveniently located on I-10 and easy to access I visit my daughter and grandchildren in Pensacola and am a long time Diamond member This property was built in 2014 so in relatively good shape

The bed in the room I slept in was not particularly comfortable making getting a good rest difficult Staff is relatively friendly though not overt in welcoming guestsThe reason I am giving a below par review is this: I always check in online and have for years It allows me to secure a room easily and choose my room When I get to the property the room is paid for, I get my key and head up to the room At this property I went to the front desk to recieve my key as usual but the desk clerk wanted me to run my credit card My question was why? She told me this property requires an additional fee for “incidentals and damage fees” to the tune of $400 dollars This was a first for me and I have stayed at Hilton propertiesa lot of properties I asked the clerk if this is the way this property treats Diamond members? She told me they treat everyone that way Well, I have spent a lot of money at a lot of Hilton properties and have always been treated with a modicum of respect for my loyalty But, if this is the way this property treats its loyal and long time members, so be itThere are plenty of Hilton properties in Pensacola where I can expect the appreciation of being a loyal customer This property is not one of them

Brittany Bongiovanni

Cancel your reservations if arriving late at night To the rude staff member who greeted me when arriving at 2230… take a moment and reflect on your attitude But honestly, I’m not even surprised at how you talked to me

FYI: Military members frequently travel through Pensacola and sometimes we also have worked long hours and just want to make it to our next destination I didn’t even step foot in the lobby and can already say I will not make reservations at this Hampton Inn when traveling through Pensacola I’ll take my Platinum points and compliments for a kind staff elsewhere

This is a nice, big hotel in the downtown area of Tallahassee The rooms are nice with a mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, safe, TV and individual AC Great water pressure in the shower

Liquid soap, shampoo and body wash from dispensers in the shower Comfortable beds and thick towels The staff is super friendly and the hotel is pet friendly Parking is close for a $15/night fee There is a bar in the lobby with a big snack bar The place can be a bit noisy since there are dogs staying here(We heard a few barks only) if you are sensitive to this

Jason Weaver

What a great place Staff is super super friendly Really cool vibe-lively bar, pool table, nice pool area

Dog friendly-there’s even a rescue dog to play with in the lobby Everything is METICULOUSLY clean Good menu and they serve food late Good sized rooms Just a cozy fun modern place, staffed by really good people; really enjoyed our stay here

Kathy Graham

I only went there for a birthday party so I did not see the pool or the rooms or the restaurant The desk clerk was very helpful in finding the party He knew the name of the person throwing the party and he walked me back to the room where the party was

The young lady who set up the food and the drinks did excellent job the music was very nice not too loud so we could have conversations I wish I knew the lady’s name that did the setup I’d leave it right here for you but her name was Georgia Kellogg and that’s all I know for sure she was very friendly and very knowledgeable knowledgeable about her job

After looking for various venues to have my daughter’s wedding, we landed upon Paola at One Ocean Paola assured me that the resort would deliver my expectations and desires flawlessly as I know she knew I was a stickler for details! I / we couldn’t have been happier with our experience The hotel is beautiful, rooms are very nice for out of town guest, and the venue is fantastic

Having said that, the staff was plentiful and very attentive to all of our needs and wishes They did special things that were never discussed to let us know they cared about our experience, and it wasn’t lip service, but rather a dedicated staff with attention to details I had 3 main requirements that I don’t mind sharing: Outstanding service, excellent food served hot, and for my guests to be served simultaneously and quickly They deliveredI cant say enough good things about my experience and I have done this several times with various country clubs and resorts, so I know what to expect To go even further, the valet parking people even got to know us by name and they were on it when I thought they might not be able to handle the volume of cars for our pretty large wedding So, if you are thinking of One Ocean as a wedding venue, I tip my hat to them and gladly give them 5 Stars, especially my daughter Coming from me, this is huge, as I am a facility person and can tend to be critical of things If you choose them for a venue, I believe you will be impressed and I strongly endorse them (and I have been everywhere) I plan to use them for other upcoming business functions as a result!

Perfect service The best service and employee attitude of being helpful and ‘nothing is a problem’ and ‘let me take care of that for you’ I have seen in 25 plus years anywhere in the USA I have worked in the service industry and my family owned hotels and restaurants- so I know and do excellent service

EVERYONE at ONE was this excellent Trent, Glen, Toni- I am and was very impressed I was there at a conference- we stayed 4 days I mentioned many of us drink tea, so the hot water container was small She brought a second one and by the next morning changed furniture so they could fit a big hot water container These details and going to any length to make the customer happy are WONDERFUL I have told people about this place The company who organized our conference got so many positive reviews, that we are coming back next year! They have never done that- we usually skip a year or never go backTHANK YOU FOR RESTORING MY BELIEF IN HUMANITY That there are more people like me and my friends who still care and serve and enjoy making other people happy!!!

Britt E

Amazing experience at One Ocean, as always We choose to come here once a year and it never disappoints The beach is beautiful and never overly crowded (plus, the beach chairs + umbrella that are included are an amazing perk)

The quaint beach town, which is right outside the hotel, has everything you need + more Cute coffee shops, tons of restaurants, bars and lots of friendly locals Marla and Trent at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure we had the best trip yet! We can’t wait to go back again! Thanks, One Ocean!

Room was pleasant, toilet was temperamental but overall it was very comfortable The rooftop bar area is very pleasant with a wonderful view (see pics) The staff are friendly and helpful

The attached Shula restaurant, although very pricey, produced one of the best steaks I have ever had The breakfast restaurant also makes a nice breakfast Overall, a good stay, but I think the room prices are on the expensive side

maxine Jacobowitz

We came to take our daughter up for orientation The staff was very attentive Makel was there to help with our luggage and he even brought us cold water to our room on his own

From check in until we left it was perfect Amber at the rooftop bar was so nice Gave us suggestions and makes good old fashion The housekeeping staff Sabrina Owens and Stefanie Martin went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable We will be back

I wish that I had more photos to post Our overnight business trip began with the exceptional check in service we received from the front desk team Next, we headed up to happy hour where the bar tender and one of the hotel managers greeted us to make sure all was well

The exceptional service continued as we dined at Shula’s where are server made excellent recommendations and didn’t skip a beat She The following morning, I witnessed something rare During my treadmill run, I noticed a manager (the suit was a give away) carrying towels into the fitness center, he proceeded to fold the towels and replenish the bottled water for guests I typically see house keeping taking care of these duties I am a firm believer that exceptional business operations & execution starts at the top I can’t remember the last time I had a customer service experience where there entire team upheld the same 5 star standard This will be my company’s hotel of choice during each Tallahassee trip

I really thought this place would be better than it was considering I paid 68000 for two nights! The check in person was good However, the “snack” store was wiped out

No bottle water at all and they do not have any vending machines I was told by the front desk there was a “Dollar Tree” down the road! Are you serious!? I took my very first shower the first night at 11pm and there was NO HOT water at all It was barely even warm and the water pressure was non existent! Come on Marriott The Navy Lodge I stayed at the night before was HOT and pressure was excellent I am so disappointed and afraid I will be taking another terrible shower tomorrow SMH

Raegan Price

Highly recommend for families! We have an infant and a toddler The bathroom / tub room are split so they’re basically two rooms that a pack and play would fit in We made sure we weren’t gonna shower for the night and put our sons pack n play into that room and closed the door for the night and we still had access to the bathroom

Then the trundle bed was perfect for our toddler In the past we’ve made a partition with a blanket from that area too Sooo nice to have had this space and be able to sleep all in one room without being awake all night

For the amount of staff on hand for services, they did an amazing job! Room was spotless and clean Bed was super comfortable and the ocean view from the bed was in perfect setting Food and food service was excellent

The girl that made our drinks was super knowledgeable and personable Her and the evening Chef made us feel like family That’s extremely rare now days Because of them we will be making Margaritaville Beach Hotels our new home away from home! Thanks guys!! 😊

The hotel is nice and the food and drinks are great We really enjoyed the location We didn’t watch much TV, but all they have is cable with no guide so finding something to watch was painful

We had to keep asking for clean towels Our room was cleaned one time during a stay of 8 days And finally, staff was driving a golf cart wide open in the parking deck For the price, we expected better and had better at other hotels close by

puddingg1 M Flegen

Beautiful suite with terrific ocean viewsOverall I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was It’s clearly the best in the Pensacola with great beach accessThe rooms was nicely appointed and had a huge bathroom with a separate tub and walk-in showerThe hotel staff was courteous and breakfast was goodIt is a shame that COVID has disrupted daily room cleaning and extras like room service but this is the case almost everywhere one stays

I would definitely stay at this hotel again If I had one critique for hotel management it’s that the hallways are starting to show their age and could use a fresh coat of paint

God awful, worst experience I have have ever had Room we paid for had a wheelchair accessible shower, the one we are stuck with has a tub We are on a strick schedule and room service is a must so we dont have to hunt for food in a place we dont know wasting time

No room service here They do have a restaurant which is chaos I saw one person working the counter making coffee with at least 5 people in line Again no time and considering the menu consists of basically eggs or French toast it’s not a restaurant Ruined this trip

Clean, staff was friendly, and we were able to find parking There is a club nearby though and you can hear the music, so if you’re a light sleeper, that may bother you It didn’t bother us, we rather enjoyed the song selections! Also super close to either University, if that’s where you’re headed and nearby to some pretty great restaurants and the state capitol building

Hotel Effie was phenomenal From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by staff and they explained everything! We went inside and received complimentary drinks at check in Everything we needed, they ensured we had! The rooms were clean and beautiful

The valet service was quick and exceptional The pool and bar on the rooftop was amazing and I loved that it’s heated at night Emani decorated the room for my significant other birthday and he was so surprised when we came back from dinner! She did an outstanding job Overall, the entire staff was nice and friendly We will be staying again

This was our second time there The hotel is upscale without being pretentious It has just the right mixture of service and informality

The staff is attentive and friendly The dining room waitstaff are superb The decor is like the hotel: gorgeous and up to the minute without being over the top A great place to relax and unwind

Pros:Hotel was beautifulRooftop pool was greatRoom was comfortable and well designedHotel restaurant had great food and serviceDrinks were good at both rooftop bar and restaurantPoolside service was goodCons:Service was very poor and needs A LOT of work It started when planning this bridal event I called multiple times to an unenthusiastic receptionist who seemed annoyed to have to answer questions, didn’t offer any assistance in identifying a restaurant on site (found it by website) or in offering options for anything really

When you stay at a place at this price point, you expect great service Instead, the service here wasn’t even average Called for ice (ice machine was broken) We waited over 2 hrs and made more than 4 calls and never received itAir conditioning in room worked poorlyFood at pool was overpriced (talking $20 hotdog) and lacked value, by A LOT It was even embarrassing for the server who mentioned the lackluster cheese trayand what we paid for it We ordered several items Presentation was awful on all We spent close to $900 at the pool during a 4 hour stay so I would’ve expected WAY better It’s just unacceptable at the price pointHotel Effie has lot of potential, but needs to work on some very basic things and do them much much better to make someone feel good about what they spend to stay there

I would rate this place 5 star ⭐️ instead if 4 if the parking spaces were assigned to units Other than parking situation everything else was good about this resort Going in we were skeptical especially after reading all the negative reviews but we found this place very welcoming and comfortable

Service was great 👍🏻 staff was polite and professional Room was clean and updated everything worked no issues, we stayed at 2 bed unit it felt like home away from homeThis place has several Pools and pools are the best part of this resort we were out all day and in the evening just relaxing at the pools with couple of other families no big crowds or issues We were only given 2 water park ticket and rest we had to pay for so we didn’t Visit parkThe market place, restaurant, gaming area and bowing was all fun and shuttle service was helpful Overall a good wholesome family fun experienceWe did sign up for time share sales presentation we didn’t find any staff members pushy or unreasonableMy only recommendation is if they can a assign parking space that will great

Asiel Gonzalez

My experience here hopefully it never happens to anyone else

So we went here for a time share tour after buying some tickets for a discount We were promised a free continental breakfast for a 90 min tour So far soon good We get to the hotel fill out some papers and our rep takes us to another room where we get asked more questions She leads us to the “breakfast room”y’allits a pile of water bottles and muffins Once they take you into the back they start calling it snacks and not continental breakfastred flagkinda disappointed Moving onour rep tells us that because we aren’t staying at the hotel then we need to wait for another rep and it could be up to 2 hours on top of the 90 min tourY’allthis lady gives us two optionseither wait there for 4 hours or pay them $150 to leave We paid the 150$ and briskly left that hotel feeling freshly F***’d 150$ for a muffin and about an hour of our time Stay away from timeshares

Paige Brice55t,

Positive: The staff were very pleasant, I’ve met many and every single person was beyond pleasant especially Chucho,Maria, and Max they were a breath of fresh air The suites were very spacious for my family of 5 We enjoyed all of the amenities especially the fire pit

Beds were beyond comfortable and so were the pillows Check-in process was easy and fast Whatever you need the resort makes sure the address the situation immediatelyNegatives: From the time we arrived there had been issues after issues The key cards were not working and we were issued 7 The tub would not fill up past the jets, the toilets clogged, and the doors would not close properly We had to be moved to another room due to so many issues and he second room wasn’t any better There were no coffee mugs or proper kitchen utensils I found a roach in one of the cabinets and there were ants on the dressers The rooms are very dated and are in need of serious upgrading

Best parts: The hotel is newer, and it shows The room smelled good, and the bathroom was clean The beds are comfortable, and the room is quiet

Even in the room RIGHT next to the elevator We didn’t hear a thing We all slept great Front desk staff was helpful and pleasant Thank you for that In a time of staff shortages, I appreciate thatRoom for improvement: the pillows are horribly unsupportive I requested extra pillows through the app but didn’t get them in the room so I had to request them again I also had to request extra towels If I’m required to report how many guests are staying in the room, there should be ample linens to accommodate Housekeeping already puts so much effort into changing over the room and how annoying is it for them to have to come back when the request was made ahead of time

Tiffany Bailey

First time at a Marriott Use to be a diehard Hilton girl, not anymore Let me start with Geoffrey, so professional, polite and knowledgeable

It’s nice to be greeted by such a guest services person after a long tiring drive The hotel grounds were so clean, the rooms were very clean too Bed very comfortable but it is a just that you replace very worn out comforters and pillows They were absolutely embarrassing The hotel grounds could use better lighting in parking lot, it’s extremely darkWould definitely stay here again!

Decent! We went to the spa, the restaurant, and hung out by the pools all day The best parts were the quality of massages we got, the fish sandwich, poke bowl, honeybelle pie at the restaurant, and the large and spacious main pool We liked the concept of the mineral and dead sea salt pools, but we needed to ask them to skim them (to get the dead floating bugs and debris off) and all of the pools needed water, so that the built-in skimmers can function properly

The staff was pleasant, especially Alex, but they had me down as a female and had the wrong name for my massage, which was annoying The front desk experience at the spa could be more streamlined too We literally had to say our last name 3 times, which isn’t a difficult one The locker rooms were nice, clean, and smelled good! The pool area could stand to be weeded and the trees trimmed Overall, it was a good value and we would definitely go back! Personally, I liked it better than The Breakers, so if they just fine-tune on the details, they’re almost there!

Didn’t get to play the Bear Trap because it is under renovation, so played the front nine twice The layout is average Several of the greens are incredibly resistant to approach shots, even wedges from 125 yards out

The ball trampolines off the green if you don’t have a good amount of backspin The greens were speedy but not overly so Don’t expect an off-season glorious time as there is construction everywhere The staff are the highlight here Lots of fantastic, friendly, and hard-working folks here, so tip generously as they are working hard to maintain things as best they can

Beautiful resort We had a quick stay while visiting friends in the area I would have given them 5 stars if I didn’t get a massive red toe nail stuck in my heal as I walked around my room, and find a clump of hair in my shower

They apologized when I called the front desk and was told they would come to clean immediately after we left for dinnerThey never cleaned the hair in the shower I wasn’t going to bring it up again but my fiancée said I should My resort fee was removed from my bill after mentioning what happened
