There was no towels in the bathroom The lobby looks So Nice while the rest of the property is dirty and worn I’ve never been to a hotel where there’s only two sheets on the bed, no blanket

Fixtures are old and the plugs for charging my phone didn’t work The bed was very uncomfortable The best thing was good air conditioning and cable TV

Melody Berger

Never again for the price stay at theHoliday Inn express or Hampton Inn This Comfort Suite is more along the of lower quality hotelStain on the carpet

Holes in the curtain I’m a night shift nurse and can’t block out the lights because the curtains won’t go together Lamp shades are cracked Paint chipped out of the wall, carpet ripped up by the door OK it’s clean No breakfast like the other places It’s got cereal or prepackaged danish The gym is closed Along with other problems I had Yes the people are nice But for $277 first night That I didn’t stay because I was at work and then 210 for the second day that I actually slept Checked in at 8 am and checked out same day at 6pm to go to work Other places would let you do an early check in if they have a room available not here A plan farther in advance next time for me Was not offered a discount for being over 55 was not offered a price match which I find out that they will do after looking online today

We stayed at the Islander inn for the first time this weekend We always travel with our two dogs and the Islander inn staff was so friendly and accommodating We had a small issue when we first arrived but Olga and Jeff were quick to resolve it

Jeff is an exceptional employee that any business would be honored to have, the housekeeping lady (I wish I caught her name) was so friendly and kind Olga is the manager and she is very informative and helpful My family and I had a great time and without a doubt we will be back Thank you for your hard work and dedication, it very much noticed and appreciated

Sunny Smith

Beautiful little hotel We really enjoyed our stay and spontaneously we booked one night more Thw whole place is well decorated and in a good condition

In the morning they offer you some coffee or tea with some fresh baked muffins Really delicious! The pool area is also nice and cleanWe can definitely recommend the Beautiful place and we will be back for sure

Where to even begin The location of this place could not be better! The outside area is clean, and a beautiful place to relax in the sun In the mornings they have a coffee bar, and Sat/Sun nights they have special things for guests also

The pool is spectacular The rooms are very cleaned and were re-cleaned any time we requested We traveled to Vero for our wedding and while I was having my hair styled Olga arrived with a special gift from the Islander Inn with a tray of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries They went above and beyond for us! Thank you Olga & staff for a memorable experience We will be back for years to come!

Per usual, Costa d’Este is an amazing resort with all the amenities I was married here in 2015 and since have returned multiple times when I visit family in the area Everyone is so professional and kind, the entire grounds is beautiful, and the rooms are luxurious

I was so relaxed and happy when I spent time in my hotel room, and also out on the beach The food is amazing, my favorite part is ordering room service in the morning for breakfast and sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean The rooms are always immaculate, and my only regret is not staying longer See you again soon Costa!

Kelly Latimer-Briggs

We have stayed here in the past before buying a home in Vero, and it was wonderfulLast night we went to the outside bar for drinks and music It was very busy, but I got an extremely good espresso martini, and my husband got a beer

We were sitting there enjoying the music and atmosphere when a man, who we presumed to be a waiter, stopped to ask how everything was Come to find out, he is the managing director, Chad Olson He was so kind and friendly Taking several minutes to visit and make sure we were enjoying the evening made all the difference after just leaving a place that had terrible customer service He even pointed out the Gloria Estefan was there!I highly recommend the bar and the hotel We will definitely go back

Alistair Rochester

From start to finish, the experience here was amazing! Everyone is so nice and friendly, the valet parking team is beyond helpful and I hope they are blessed every single day of their lives! The pool, the rooms, the spa, the views, the area in general is such a pleasant place to be! If you haven’t already, take a trip here and stay at this hotel! You won’t regret it one bit!

Stayed for two nights for a last minute weekend getaway Had an oceanfront room on the 3rd floor with private balcony Beautiful view

Live music from the restaurant next door was an added bonus when sitting on the balcony Room was spacious and beds and pillows were extremely comfortable Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating Loved that we were in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants Will definitely return

We wanted to get out of South Florida and go where the beach was less crowded Vero Beach is a good choice however there are few hotels that don’t have South Florida prices here We found a Holiday inn to have a better value than many of the hotels here

It is not a higher end hotel with a big name but it’s well maintained and the service is great Barbara at the front desk Make sure we were checked into the room we asked for The only negative here is that they do allow pets I think that the condition of the property would be better if they didn’t do this and the quality of the stay would be better also There’s nothing wrong with dogs but leave them home on vacation We were greeted with a full view of the ocean when we open the door to our room and that’s exactly what we were looking for

Marg & John Stewart

We booked 3 rooms for 7 nights for our whole family in the month of March Our rooms, overlooking the pool were perfect for us since the staff had taken care to place us all together When my husband and I unexpectedly arrived one night early, they ensured that we had a room for that night and prepared our booked rooms early the next day so that we could get settled as quickly as possible

We had three clean lovely rooms with a refrigerator, safe, and microwave that we had previously requested The customer service here was second to none I made several requests during the week which were dealt with quickly and efficientlyBeing an oceanfront inn was idyllic, especially after spending two cold COVID winters up north We all loved the sizeable pool that gave everyone their own space The water temperature was excellent for both young and not so young swimmers I’d not hesitate to book and stay at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront again We had a wonderful vacation!

Absolutely amazing suites SO quiet Nice amenities

Can’t even tell it’s across from a small airport! We’ll stay longer next time just to enjoy the room! We did get there an hour before check-in and they were sticklers for the 4pm, so watch your arrival When we went back at 4, no one was at the desk for 20 minutes But after the rough start, everything was so pleasant that it made up for that

AMAZING COTTAGE! We spent a long weekend at this delightful cottage Heather was very welcoming and helpful while we were planning our stay and throughout the trip The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need and it was very clean with a comfortable king size bed and terrific sheets

The beach was gorgeous and empty! LOVED our relaxing stay and plan to be back for sure!

Reno Fowler

Our stay here was phenomenal It is a great place for a couple, however we even brought a 7 year old with us and he had a great time! When we said we were bringing a kid they went ahead and set up the sleeper sofa for him! How considerate! It’s a short walk to the beachfront but the condos connect directly to the sand barYou are on the more secluded side of the beach, which we enjoyed

Heather was super accommodating to our needs and provided great hospitalityOur cottage had literally everything you would need for the stay, we overpacked a little but I found out all we really needed were clothes and food Everything else was inclusive such as cookware, silverware, towels, blankets, extra sheets, beach chairs, umbrellas, wave boards, some even had sand toys for the kids All the things you wouldn’t know you needed unless you had actually stayed in the cottageIf you do decide to stay here, which I HIGHLY recommend, please remember this is a beach area with mainly locals who will give you the same respect you give themIn conclusion our stay was incredible and it was such a blessing to enjoy Hopefully we can come back sometime! Thank you again!

Krystal Baird

Old Florida at its best! The owner, Heather, is great to work with! Each cottage comes fully equipped and it’s your own little paradise The beautiful beach is just steps away! My husband and I have been coming to Vero beach each year for our anniversary, staying at various inns and resorts but this is our new place! We stayed for 4 nights and loved our little cottage I just booked again for this coming anniversary and we can’t wait!

Scenic getaway on a beautifully maintained property with a private beach Our cottage was was perfect and everyone we spoke to was very friendly! The level of care and attention to detail was clear throughout our stay We arrived to a handwritten letter, fresh fruit, and local coffee on the counter and water and juice in the fridge

Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated by a local artist The bed was super comfortable and the waterfall shower was perfect after a day outside We watched the sunrise on the swings in front of the water and enjoyed the beautiful view Other couples took out kayaks or bikes while we had coffee on the porch and talked with another guest Island View Cottages is a special place and I am looking forward to going back soon!

3rd time here Always been good Godfrey (receptionist when I arrived late at night Mar 20, 2022) was terrific

I have no doubt he’ll end up running his own hotel one dayMy only complaint on visit two was there was no freezer in the small fridge in the room ( I bought an ice cream downstairs and was going to throw it in there until later)I concur with another reviewer’s assessment of the breakfast I’ve stayed in cheap hotels that had more variety but otherwise, everything else is great

exceldrivr

Lifetime Diamond member and pilot who spends 150 days a year in hotels, mostly which are Hilton properties Checked in and all seemed fine Once in my room I was immediately hit with the foul smell of mildew

Yeah I know it’s Florida and most older hotels have this in their air conditioning After 2 hours in the room I couldn’t take it anymore The air conditioner just smelled awful, pumping more moldy smelling air into the room Not to mention that the sheets on the bed felt damp This is due to poor air-conditioning systems, where the air maybe cool coming out but is not dry I went to the front desk to try to get a different room I went to 2 other rooms Each was as bad as the first I had to pack my bags and leave the hotel at 9pm It was that uncomfortable If I had stayed not only would I not have slept at all, I probably would have gotten sick from inhaling mold all night I’m just glad I found a very comfortable hotel close by and that I didn’t have an early morning flight the next day This hotel needs a total restoration of all it’s air conditioners I am surprised the management hasn’t done something about this because it’s been like this for a while I certainly will not be back and am going to make sure my company takes this hotel off it’s list of suitable hotels for Vero Beach As a note, all 3 rooms I was in were on the 2nd floor

Beautiful setting with lush landscaping, convenient free parking, roomy suite with 2 comfortable full size beds, small magnifying mirror in bathroom with roomy counter space, well equipped kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge with freezer, utensils and dishes, lovely pool, complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, quick drive to Ocean Drive Loved the complimentary breakfast basket delivered each morning to the room Only suggestion would be to add electrical outlets and update with painting

We walked to the wide beach every morning as it was a quick walk across the street Hardly anyone on the beach in this area Don’t miss the beautiful sunrise! Long time resident Bettina at the front desk was a wealth of info about the area and restaurants Great mother/daughter trip! We’d definitely stay again

Brittany Antone

I would rate this place a 100/10 if I could This place is GORGEOUS and makes me feel so at home, I love plants and they have a beautiful garden that I was able to see from the balcony of my room The room is incredibly cute, I’d live here if I could

The rooms are the cleanest I have EVER seen and I’ve spent 100’s on rooms that couldn’t even touch this one The bed was super super clean and I can tell the blankets and everything are cleaned PROFESSIONALLY rather than thrown in a regular wash like most hotels They deliver breakfast to your door in a basket! FREE! How cute is that?! They also have a restaurant downstairs as well as a pool thats open 24/7 They have free bikes you can “rent” out to take a stroll down the road or on the beautiful beach FREE The owner is absolutely lovely, she is super super generous and made me feel like a friend rather than a customer I’d take the 3 hour drive ANYTIME to stay here again, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at and it was cheap! This is definitely my PERMANENT vacation spot And the beach is just steps away! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!! Absolutely loved my stay here and I wish I didn’t live so far so this could be my weekend getaway 😭

Great hotel, beautiful grounds, and good location Staff was nice Rooms are a little older but also look remodeled

I would definitely recommend this hotel, the only draw back is the Marriott wide decision (not this hotel decision) on getting rid of hot breakfast at Springhill Major draw back for my family as some of us are gluten-free and enjoy the hot eggs and bacon/sausage

jenny judson

Do not stay at this hotel They claim to offer top notch hospitality but I have never experienced worse customer service The staff were extremely rude for no reason to guests who were just enjoying their evening

They have a quiet policy in the lobby which apparently starts at 6pm which is ridiculous If you don’t want soccer teams to be in your lobby then don’t register as an affiliated hotel

John James

From the First Time I Stepped Foot In The Motel The Staff Was Phenomenal,Dre greeted me with a smile and so much respect,He was Helpful and Very professional,He Definitely Is A Great Person To see when you walk in

Let’s not forgot Ray I can’t Think of her name but she was wonderful as well very pleasant and I definitely will be coming back and inviting family cause the stay was Great Rooms clean and Neat ,Staff Are Awesome And They Have A Nice Free Breakfast Setup Definitely Worth My Money Kim Hamilton room#105

What I thought was great: the little beach, the breakfast, the front desk super helpfulHowever, the rooms look much nicer on the website This hotel needs a MAJOR overhaul

The room was a bit moist smelling The paint is chipping off doors, etc The best was really cheap and uncomfortable What I found to be the worst though, there’s not really anyone maintaining the property during the day There was a whole family in the pool during a lightening storm, playing very loud music, and yelling at their kids The pool deck was also in disarray The pool with filthy with oil slicks and debris from the surrounding trees and bugs Water bottles and towels left all over Why is no one constantly walking the property and cleaning up? All in all it was a pleasant weekend

Jesse Meek

Nice hotel with serious need of renovation We were kindly greeted by the front desk staff and check in was easy The room was clean and had a nice view

Unfortunately our headboard broke off the wall, I wish I could say that was my wife and I’s fault😆😉 but when we went to lay down the first night we heard cracking and other noises Upon inspection the headboard was literally hanging on by 1 drywall anchor Could of definitely hurt someone had we not noticed Honestly not that big of a deal, the staff did offer to move us but we just laughed it off and carried on with our trip The pool and little beach is a super rad amenity and the breakfast was alright I would absolutely stay again and the feel the price was reasonable considering the current market

Stuart Thomason

Given the price, location, and basic amenities, this place is fine Just don’t set your expectations too highPros: clean, the AC worked well, the beds comfortable, fridge and microwave, the low budget breakfast but a plus and appreciated, the large dock area that was clean and safe, and the decent views

Cons: I suspect there’s not enough staff They ran out of coffee and syrup at breakfast Staff is not upbeat; rather, they seem worn out The shower water pressure in our room was almost not enough to even work Housekeeping didn’t come—didn’t restock soaps, coffee (it was undrinkably awful, too), just a no-show Local families filled the pool area (we watched them jump in their cars as the sun set)We’d stay here again, maybe, but at least we’d know what we were getting

Breathtaking view in their outdoor seating section Of course their was a wait to sit outside but we ordered drinks from the bar while we waited and just enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather Our server was AMAZING and explained to us all the shipwrecks in the area to include the history of the one located out from the outdoor seating area

Can’t wait to go back!

I really don’t remember the food but it’s a great place to hangout and listen to bands during the afternoon and you can’t ask for a better location On the beach and on the main stripI have never stayed here but plenty of friends have it’s so cool

Make your reservation a year ahead It’s always packed especially during Tourism Season But it’s always my weekend day during destination ! Love Love Love

Zero star if I could Ended up in the ER from angioedema and hives from allergic reaction to bedding in the room Never had an allergy before in 43 years of life and very well travelled

I made a rookie mistake and went for the bargain $270 Saturday night and ended up paying for it with my healthAlso, not as traumatic but there was a small animal in the kitchen scurrying around , maybe lizard or mouse, likely common in this area but we reported it to front desk and they could care less

WORST HOTEL/INN IN VERO BEACH Changed rooms because the first one had an awful small and used body wash/shampoo, on top of 2 centipedes that were on the bathroom floor Called down to the office where we were movies to room 9… which was even worse then our previous room

The carpet was absolutely Disgusting and would never dare take off our shoes Then walked into the bathroom, where Multiple ants covered the sink and surrounding areas Called back down and was told they “must come come in due to the rain” “ we will set traps” on top of the bathrooms looking like literal prison cells… if I didn’t pay $225 I would leave… do not stay here

Great place on beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants The staff in general were attentive The beach is great and the pool was warm, with a great pool side bar

They have some service at the beach but it was extremely limited during our stay We never saw pool side service at allCons-Our server Emily for breakfast was not pleasant in the least We never went back for breakfast after this experience The menu for family’s is lackingThe vibe after 6pm is disappointing in Vero Other than restaurants there is little to do in Vero after 6The second bedroom is not inviting and provides no room to move around in at all For the price paid expected more in that regardThe room in general shows some wear, and the doors would be better served to have a modern keyed system The room needs some new touches such as TV’s,There should be coffee, hot coco left out for longer hours

I specifically wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to the resort and staff – we had an excellent time at this resort I think most importantly, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and specialFirst of all, we’d considered taking our jet ski with us on our trip and asked the hotel to accommodate us – they did, and as soon as we pulled in to the lot mentioned that they’d held a parking spot for our ski

We ended up not taking our ski, but this was a really nice touchSecond, the hotel is dog friendly – and they truly made our two four legged friends feel like part of their family If you were there the week we were, you probably caught a glimpse of, or heard about “the border collies” Anyway, the pups had a great timeNext, the hotel had a welcome gift in our room (and our room was ready two hours early) I’m not going to mention the vineyard for the bottle they left us – but either they have very high standards or did their research on us – as it was our favorite bottle of wineFinally, the whole staff really did just a great job – from the guys working the beach equipment, to the front desk, the bell staff, etc We had a really enjoyable visit and will definitely be coming back!
