Would’ve given 0 stars of that was an option But gave 2 stars because the Pool was the only best part of the hotel It was clean and my children had fun

Other than that Breakfast was terribly cold Not many selections Many empty trays Our room had food on the floor The sofa was dirty My son had some fake eyelashes stuck to the bottom of his foot Way too much money for this place Not worth the stay Only the pool was worth it Never again we will stay here Yuck Please look into a new staff or housekeeping or whatever

Well far starters my company paid for my room or at least that’s what was suppose to happen I had to add a card for incidentals and got charged full amount Breakfast wasn’t free got charged and it closed an hour earlier then expected

Time Is Short

My husbands and I have stayed many places and you can tell when staff really cares about the people they have staying here The rooms are clean The staff really take the time to put everything into place for the guests and it really shows

Breakfast is good and they always have hot coffee or tea with cookies all the times The staff seems to be more like a family They do need a little updating but like I said the rooms are clean and bug free if other wise we would not be here for 5 months Guests and there children need to think of others as they run and scream in the hallways God Bless and Thank you

Gjason Garrett

No surprise here it’s the people that make this place five stars the room was okay with a fridge and a microwave But the people are fantastic any questions we had were answered easily we were able to take a shuttle provided by the hotel to the Civic Center to see a concert there was a total of 8 to 10 of us at no charge They also picked us up at the end of the show with little to no waiting time provided a wonderful breakfast for two days the place was exceptionally clean and well taken care of thank you Country Inns and Suites for such a wonderful trip

Check in was the best partThey have the nicest workersThe room was cold, heat or ac didn’t really work, it just blew out lukewarm air

Rooms are smallShower had no curtain, so after the shower everything in the bathroom was soakedBeds are right by the heater/ac unitThere was brown water coming from the sink drainDefinitely needs upgradingNot the worst I’ve been atFor the money you can get better

Jacqueline Polston

The stay was terrible The only reason why we stayed three nights is because every hotel was booked for the weekend due to graduations, which is why we came I was already feeling a type of way because of the location

The parking lot is around back next to where all of the “yahoos” hang around They have cameras, however I was informed they don’t go back, the recording is only for that moment The hallways were hot and humid We didn’t get our breakfast ticket picked up, which is probably a good thing their food was probably expired The amenities on the website states the provide roll away beds, and I was told they don’t have them Beds were horrible to sleep on The restaurant is closed No wonder why it is so cheap to stay Last but not least Car was broken into, and things were stolen out of it, Which does not surprise me considering the area I am very surprised this hotel is open It’s more of a motel

Was able to stay here for a few days and was impressed with how unique it is compared to other hotels This hotel definitely has its own personality Rooms were clean and comfortable

The property was well maintained and it looked like a section of rooms was also being renovated to keep it looking nice The pool area is large and the pool itself also has an outdoor section I had to use the laundry facilities during my stay and was pleased to see the washer and dryer were clean and working properly

Kimberly Boggess

Overall very nice stay The pool area was surprisingly large, and while busy, wasn’t too busy to swim The free breakfast was pretty good

The hotel itself is very large with lots of little places to relax Some of the decor and lighting make it feel a little dark and dated However, overall it was nice

I attended a wedding reception at Stony Creek in May of 2022 I was very much impressed with this facility for many reasons The staff is accommodating

I am older and use a walker I did not request a room that would accommodate my needs but was provided with a handicap accessible room very close to the main desk as well as the room being used for the reception They even gathered my bag from my car and carried it to my room The food for the reception was delicious and staff scurried to provide services I was also impressed with the sleeping quarters The room is spacious and it was so quiet that I felt as if I was the only guest I would definitely recommend this inn

What a spectacular place! I wish we could give 100 stars! We stayed in the suite with 2 queen beds, a fantastic bathroom, large full kitchen, a bar and table for 8, with a living room and that had two pull out beds, but the cherry was the picture perfect view of downtown When we walked in our youngest child said, “wow it’s beautiful!” Our oldest said, “This looks like a Hallmark movie!” This place is specialThe beds were the best we have ever had! I would recommend a sleep mask if staying in the suite

The beautiful skylight is stunning but also lets in the morning light If you need to sleep in darkness, I would suggest bringing your mask The service was spectacular and so very accommodating We will be back!

Tom Brokaw

Very friendly staff, answered all of our questions prior to booking Room was nice and big and very clean Very comfortable and quiet

Nice location and they provide a nice little continental breakfast and bottled water They have a restaurant downstairs, but it was closed when we were there, so we were unable to give it a try We were there for softball and baseball games and the location of the Inn was less than a mile to both of the fields we were playing at The next time we are in the area, we will certainly be staying here! We don’t have a single complaint about our stay

RACIST LOCATION!!! DON’T BOOK HERE!!Read the reviews others have experienced racial profiling Linda lies that there are no rooms available Called reservation line plenty rooms open

Confronted Linda, she changes her lie that now they have rooms Asked her why she lied, no comment Called Josh the manager the next day to share my experience and mentioned the reviews online, he starts yelling and tells me this is not the hotel for me that he’s cancelling my reservation Of course he’s going to cancel it, according to the online reviews blacks are not welcome I tell him I’m going to report him to corporate he proudly yells this is his hotel and he has none over him for me to report him too Josh is the leader of this racist pack of employees Linda is definitely his follower If you don’t share the same race as them, you better keep it moving to another hotel Try the Holiday Inn Express it’s comfortable, clean, great price, delicious breakfast and staff is very friendly and welcoming You’ll save your self from a bad experience

Lorin Darst

Room was clean and comfortable Plenty of parking for my Uhaul with trailer All staff were friendly

But the reason I’m writing the review: Lana at the front desk could not have been more helpful or welcoming She was incredibly helpful when I called while on the road in a vehicle that made it hard to hear And when I arrived, Lana made sure I had everything I needed, including treats for my dog Her customer service was the best I received during my move/road trip from Oregon to Ohio She deserves a bonus and a raise even if she’s the highest paid staff member there

I did not have a positive experience at Marriott Courtyard I booked 2 nights at this location Upon arrival the front desk staff was very friendly

When I got back to my room at the end of the first day I found that the room had not been cleaned, bed not made, towels not changed I contacted the front desk who advised that due to COVID they would not be cleaning rooms However, they would gladly provide fresh towels upon request I subsequently requested fresh towels and extra pillows, but when I returned later that night nothing was provided My wife and I ended up using wet towels, shared one paper cup, and 2 little soaps between us, for 2 nights My advice if you stay more than 1 night: BYOT (Towels)Apart from that, the floors were a little grubby, there were shoe prints on the bathroom floor, and the water glasses untouchable: they had clearly been wiped with a dirty clothThe hallways and lobby could definitely benefit from vacuuming, and the elevator from a good scrubbing of the floor Shame on you Marriott Courtyard

Eden Duke

I enjoyed the hotel Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean Only issue that keeps it from getting a 5 star review was that all of the elevators had expired inspection papers

The food was also a disappointment the brioche buns were old and you could use the hamburger meat to pound a nail, it was so overcooked The fried pickles and potato chips were soggy However my son enjoyed the dessert (chocolate cake) All in all it was a nice hotel- just don’t take the elevator or eat the food

Gilberto Estrada

Nice hotel, totally reccomended I stayed here a couple of nights for work and I left very satisfied with the room and the service I had a double in the seventh floor with the view to all downtown

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable The bathroom was also really niceThe only detail I have to mention is that in the map there are two hotels as Marriott and I was trying to enter to the one on the left It seems like they did some remodeling and the two locations come up when looking for it but it’s the same Maybe it was just meI would definitely would stay here again, there are a few restaurants around and the restaurant in the hotel is pretty good as well

If I could just rate the staff, I would give them a 5/5 because they were friendly and helpful On the other hand, the room and atmosphere is a 2/5 First, the room had a very noisy air conditioner and the walls were very thin

Secondly, the atmosphere was bad because of the other guests I understand that the hotel cannot control who stays at the hotel, but I think with more quiet rules and regulations, we would’ve had a better stay There were children running in the street and parking lot unattended and children would run up and down the halls screaming My husband and I checked out a day early and got a refund for the rest of the stay There are plenty of other hotels to stay in the area, choose wisely

David Hammann

Great stay while in town for business Great food near buy Casino next door if that’s your thing

Clean room with mini fridge Nice pool with a nice small fitness room The complementary breakfast if very nice with several items to choose from Very nice overall place to stay Staff is awesome Will be back in the East Peoria area many times in the future I would definitely recommend and will stay here again

Theresa Dris Benchargui

Staff 5 star! Breakfast attendant and desk clerks were courteous and professional That being said, as a diamond member and frequent user of Hampton/Hilton, the room was not up to standard Is it because the river is close? I don’t know, the room definitely had a musty odor and the bedding also

Actually put my sweater over the pillow it smelled that bad Traces of black residue where wall/ceiling meet Dim lighting in room- although the towels were cleaned, they were kind of damp also Not a big deal and probably nothing for the hotel to do, but FYI the channels and guide do not match up- A lot of people complaining about the toaster at breakfast First and last time at this location

After spending a night in a downtown Peoria location the week before, I was definitely looking for a change Check in was a breeze Everyone was very friendly and they reviewed the location of hotel amenities and services

My room was spacious and well appointed with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker Electrical outlets were conveniently located on the desk area and the desk chair was comfortable Room, bed and bathroom were clean Their snack and beverage area was well stocked,, though the refrigerator could have been colder The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was varied and delicious The swimming pool was refreshing, but kind of smallThe location was also much improved Located next to a Bass Pro Shop on a dead end street gave easy access, abundance of parking and a sense of security There is a very nice walkway along the river with a small park with playground equipment along the way There were multiple restaurant choices nearby as well For my next trip to Peoria, I will definitely stay here again

Me

The staff was excellent in receiving guests Very inviting Loved the ‘happy’ hour, I was given 2 complimentary alcoholic drinks and kids had the options of soda or lemonade

We didn’t take advantage of the made to order breakfast, as we slept in on the very comfortable King bed!! Room was comfortable and spacious, hotel decor needs a little TLC but it’s beautiful nonetheless Unfortunately, the Cafe was closed, as well as the pool area, the hot tub appeared to be drained and sectioned offCheck out was excellent, they were in training and did great! Perfect stay for the GVF concert!!

Patrick Hobin

I booked for the wrong dates on a 3rd party site, and Jordan was awesome in helping me change things a get a room The room was great the service was awesome (especially Jordan and the front desk staff), the cleaning staff was patient and accommodating Property was clean and the breakfast was very good

I would recommend this property when visiting the Peoria area

Josh Zeigler

Staff was very friendly and helpful The location itself is very dated, wore out and well past a remodel It is on the river but across from downtown area

Has a river front area thats in need of repairs Hot tub was down in pool area, revolving door was down as well Neither on site cafes was open They also charge $10 for parking which i was shocked to pay Seeing as this is not downtown and they have more than enough parking If given the correct remodel and attention, this would be an incredible location for conferences

The staff was awesome! Very helpful and genuinely happy to help The lobby looked to be updated to match other Hampton Inns The rooms however need a face lift

We had to move rooms because our original room’s toilet didn’t flush and the bathroom fan didn’t work Also, the hot tub jets weren’t working Hampton Inns are usually pretty nice for the cost This one was a little below average The staff made up for it

Jessica Leuschke

Ok some of these reviews are terrible But don’t take those too seriously This hotel is everything you would expect from a Hampton Inn

A little dated but very clean Main level king suite was perfect for my husband and three toddlers Lots of traveling sports teams so a little busy and loud but we had a pleasant stay This hotel was everything we needed it to be for a weekend trip

Kelly L

This hotel did not represent the standards of other Hampton Inn’s I’ve stayed at The hotel in general was outdated, as are the rooms Our room had cracked peeling paint and tiles that were poorly repaired and just slapped back on the bathroom wall

The tub stopped kept popping back open during my children’s bath The refrigerator in the room just sits on the floor under the desk I asked for our room to be cleaned and it never was Possibly because the employee j asked was getting a back massage from another employee in the lobby The waffle makers were glitchy and hard to use and the hot food was standard, sub-par basics One employee complained about being underpaid and the hotel being understaffed I left a message for the manager, Tiffany slaw wrap days before our arrival and never received a call back The complimentary cookies Friday night seemed like they had been out for days and there were no other cookies out the remainder of our stay Not a big deal but just another thing that is supposed to be offered and wasn’t done
